So, every time I log on and see that someone followed me, I go check to see if they have a profile picture, any likes, and posts. If they seem like a bot, I message them asking for proof of life. If they are a hater, troll, or bot, I block.

Never thought much about it. Went into my queue drafts today to prepare some Friday Thirst posts, and this is what I see:

A thousand real-live-humans are reading this blog??

Um, guys? You know I’m nobody important, right?

I’ve never had a following or anything. Not that I’m not grateful to have you with me, but… I hope I don’t disappoint you. I’m not even two years old as an ARMY and I’m still learning as I go. I make mistakes, I often have to disappear for health reasons, and sometimes I post the most random stuff not related to BTS at all…

If you’re okay with that, of course you’re welcome. I promise to always try to be kind and as positive as possible (while also being honest). But please lower your expectations, okay? I’m not a quality content creator. I’m an awkward but harmless opossum rooting around in fandom’s trash for some tasty morsels of serotonin.

Reading @silenzahra reply to why they follow me made me a bit frustrated at myself why I didn’t tell you why I follow you.

I think you are really creative and imaginative in your AUs and you have a wonderful way of expressing the loving bond Mario and Luigi share. I particularly like your Anastasia and Mermaid AUs because they resonate with some of my favourite movies and I can imagine the roles they play as I play their soundtracks.

Also I also want to thank you for leaving me kudos on some of my SMB stories on Archive of our Own (my profile name is vulpixfairy). It really means a lot to me that there’re people like you who appreciate my writing. I hope to match the caliber of writing like you do and many others in this fandom as I enjoy writing to express myself and to connect with other people who enjoy being creative and in their own way.

Hey now, there's no need to apologise! I really appreciate your kind words, truly 🫂💗 It makes me very happy when people say that they enjoy my writing and my AUs; it's such reassurance that I'm doing something right 💗

The thing about the Bro's relationship that I enjoy is that it's not complicated. There's no hatred, no jealously. It's built on a foundation of the most raw and purest love. Whichever version you're thinking of (games, movie etc) this love has existed from when they were born ❤💚 Sure it may sound sappy, but the brotherly love they share is all about trust and comfort, and they never want to let that go 🫂.

I also like writing just how a character feels in a moment.

I enjoy your writing too dear 🥺 You keep at it and don't give up!
