ITS HERE !!! not 100% perfect because it'd never get posted if i tried to make it perfect. there are inconsistencies and probably typos and a fair amount of bias but its something. and also a testament to how crazy this series makes me.

for a little backstory. timestamp on the original document says it was made May 22, 2022, at 8:41 PM. it was intended for personal use when i was in peak kagihira analysis mode, to figure out when things were happening in each series and how they related to each other. if that makes sense. and THEN i started taking extensive and biased notes. probably over-noted too many chapters but WHO CARES ! Anyways and Then i figured the whole world could use this. So here we are

2009 Reference Guide to Seb's Hair(Long post w lots of pics):

I would rate these but I love every version of him too much so I cannot pick 🤭, I'll add some commentary though. This took a horrible amount of time but it was also a great excuse to download and show off a truly terrible amnt of Seb pics(I was in tears half the time bcs of cuteness agression)

0. Testing(Jerez)(February 10th-12th):

Honestly such perfect Seb hair, I find this soooo cute!!! His hair is honestly always so perfect at Jerez testing every season. I love the length and style, he looks so incredibly pretty <3

1. Australia(March 26th-29th):

And now he is...bald. I actually kinda love this hair, he's my little kiwi fruit!! But I also can't help but mourn the Jerez hair. I'm just like: why did you feel the need to go bald, Seb??? It makes him look so young!

I think the highlight of his bald era is how much he embodies the nickname "sunshine." Like the way his hair and eylashes glow in the sun??? Literally sunshine. Also it's cute to see his hair grow more fluffy

The texture differences are so interesting, I think this length looks its best when it's more fluffy like in the top right pic.

It's funny how his hairline does that point in the middle, again: looks better when he looks unkempt

Weirdly shocked at how much his hair grew in-between Spain and Monaco??? Also I forgot that those fashion pics were from this weekend, and I was jumpscared by his mohawk look. I think he should keep away from hair product hahaha

8. Silverstone(June 18th-21st):

Lowkey kinda baffling to me how different his hair looks at different stages of the weekend. The podium hair especially is just soooo different, its very cute but yeah idk

I did not realize he cut his hair again during this season?? Seeing these was very surprising to me, I had thought he grew it out for the entire season but I guess not! But I guess if he hadn't gotten a haircut the entire season, he'd probably have his angelic curls of 2010 by the end

10. Hungary(July 23rd-26th):

Kinda love the looks he was serving this weekend, it's just very spikey and cute(also the cunty sunglasses!!

That garage lighting makes his hair look soooo much more yellow rather than his fair blond in the sunlight

This transitional growing period is not my fav, just the way his hair sweeps in is funny

Looking particularly blond this weekend!! His hair is just very light and pretty

15. Japan(October 1st-4th):

I think most of these are from post-quali and for good reason; I love the way it looks like he has highlights in all the bottom pics

16. Brazil(October 15th-18th):

I love his scruffiness from this weekend!!! The scruffy stubble is sooooooo!!!

17. Abu Dhabi(October 29th-November 1st):

Pretty cute I think but yeah like nothing can really compete with his hair length in 2010 for me so I look at these and I'm like, ooooo growing longer!!

Conclusion: I think it's fun to get to see the process of someone's hair growing out. I've noticed that a lot of men with short hair get very consistent haircuts to keep their hair generally the same length, and I think that's so boring!! I think it's great to grow out your hair for a few months time because you get to see yourself at all the different stages and experiment with all kinds of different looks! So yeah, props to Seb for serving all kinds of looks this season!!

Also it's always interesting to me how much hair length/style and facial hair can change a person's look, but particularly how old/young they look. Like when he shaved his his head, it made him look so young. But in Brazil for example, with the longer hair and scruffy facial hair, he def looks older!

Hi anon, I might not be the best person to answer this question since I'm not really a big fan of all kinds of personality tests, but I'll try to answer your question based on my brief reading of the 16 MBTI types. It's highly likely that my answer won't be accurate since I'm clearly not an expert of MBTI test and I just read some very brief descriptions about the 16 types, so I'm open to the corrections from you guys!

To start with Alex, I think the type that describes him most properly may be ISFP.

The description of ISFP that I read goes as follows: "They are calm, sensitive and they maintain many strong personal ideals and values; they are humble, quiet and actually people with great camaraderie and enthusiasm; they do not intend to be leaders but tend to be loyal followers; they do not like to argue and do not impose their opinions and values on others; they are patient, flexible and free, and they follow their own schedule."

I think I don't need to explain why I think he's sensitive and enthusiastic about his career since these are the things that we all agree. What I think is really on point about him is the mention of humbleness and respect towards others and I'll make some further explanations here.

Actually when I first began to get into AM and read all kinds of interviews, what impressed me a lot about Alex was his humbleness. From the perspective of a reader/listener of his lyrics/music, I think it's obvious that he's really talented and he has all the reasons to be proud of himself. But I can often sense his humbleness or even his uncertainty towards himself in interviews, for instance, he said he wasn't anywhere near the talent of writing books or films in 2009 and he also said he wasn't a poet and writing poems was much more difficult than writing lyrics in 2011, and let's also not forget that he felt insecure during the recording of TBHC and needed the assurance from Jamie and James Ford's wife Celine. Moreover, his humbleness can also be seen in loads of fan stories where the fans talked about how genuine and friendly he was when they met him.

Also "the intention not to be leaders/the unwillingness of imposing their opinions on others" are on point as well. I know people may say in fact he's the leader of AM, but he wasn't even willing to become the frontman when the band was just formed and the only reason that he became the frontman was that the guy who was the frontman in the beginning left the band and they couldn't find a new person to replace him. Even though he later becomes the leader of the band, I think he's always respectful towards others and open to their thoughts and ideas. Just like Miles once described him in an interview, “He's a prime example of someone who's big but doesn't take anything for granted. That's inspiring. He's got focus, not in an intense way, like, 'Everyone back off.' It's in such a beautiful way.”

So above are the main reasons that I find ISFP describes Alex properly, but I also think he has some characteristics mentioned in the descriptions of ENFP and INFP.

Now I'll turn to Matt, Jamie and Nick. Since there are fewer interviews of them, I guess my answer might be even more inaccurate but I'll still give a try.

As for Matt, I think ESFP may be the type that describes his characteristics.

The description of ESFP that I read goes as follows: “They are natural performers who love the spotlight; they love to be in front of people and be the center of attention; they are social and love simple things; they need variety and enjoy friendship and fun in their work.”

I think Matt is the one who feels most comfortable under the spotlight among the four of them, and he's also the one who's more social and gives fans information during hiatus.

I think "the need of variety and friendship in their work" is on point as well since Matt is the only one besides Alex who has several music related side projects outside AM. His cooperation with Iggy Pop and Joe Carnall suggests his willingness to explore outside AM, and his involvement in Andy's EP last year shows that he still maintains the friendship with Andy and I'm glad to see that.

As for Jamie, I think he's like an INFJ according to his role in the band.

The description of INFJ that I read goes as follows: “They have original ideas, strong feelings, firm principles and integrity; they are gentle, compassionate, caring, imaginative and they care about interpersonal relationships; they enjoy working behind the scenes to help others realize their potential by providing vision and guidance.”

I think "firm principles and integrity" is quite on point. When they just formed the band, most of them didn't take the band very seriously, nor did they have much ambition for music career. Jamie was the one who had higher expectations for the band and it promoted them to take the band more seriously. Also, Alex mentioned in 2013 that Jamie was the one who lost patience faster during a break and urged them to get back into it.

Moreover, I also think Jamie is imaginative and helps Alex realize his potential in some ways. The fact that Alex quoted "moon's side boob" from Jamie and he needed Jamie's opinions about TBHC make me think so.

As for Nick, I really don't find any of the 16 types describes my impression of him very properly. But if I have to choose one, maybe I'd say ENFP.

The description of ENFP that I read goes as follows: "They are friendly, gentle and sensitive; they have infinite energy and insatiable curiosity, and they are always on the way to pursue dreams; they pay attention to various possibilities and they are often driven by new things; they like to help others discover their creative potential and explore new values and lifestyles."

I always think Nick is a person who has lots of hobbies and is driven by new things. He mentioned that he loved windsurfing, knitting, cooking and motorbiking in different interviews, and I also have a vague memory that a fan once met him at a lecture.

I also think he's a friendly and gentle person who is able to help Alex discover creative potential based on his comments on Alex's stage persona and the fact that his bass line was a breakthrough for 'R U Mine?' and AM.

Above are my thoughts and again I want to emphasize that my answer won't be accurate since I really don't have much knowledge about MBTI test, so feel free to correct me if you guys think my understanding of their types isn't right.
