Can I ask when the last time “dick worshipper”, etc. has actually been used by a radblr woman? Not a black-pill orbiter; they’re awful to everyone and don’t tend to last long here. I mean from someone in radblr, claiming to be a radical feminist or supporting radical feminism. I know it used to be fairly common years ago. So did political lesbianism, which pissed everyone off for different reasons. Most of those people either left or just don’t show up in my circles anymore, and those that do again don’t last long. So where is this coming from? I see it referenced but no recent examples. I am seeing a hell of a lot of recent homophobia from women in radblr though. Every woman I’ve seen addressing the homophobia has stated the misogynistic terms aren’t okay, again, even though from what I’ve seen it hasn’t happened for a long time. Whereas I’m seeing a ton of defensiveness and doubling down in regards to the homophobia. And there seems to be this demand of all lesbians and non-lesbian pro-separatist women to denounce the “dick worshipper” type comments, and it’s like, A) they already have and B) if they’re not the ones who said it can you stop conflating pro-separatist arguments with that shit? Again, this is just what I’ve seen. Maybe the “dick-worshipper” comments are all over some areas of radblr, but they’re not from anyone I follow or have seen on my dash for years. I’d say for the last four or five years the only time I’ve seen it is from women asking not to be called that--which, I agree, I don’t want to be called that and I don’t want to see other women called that. It’s just, I haven’t been called it or seen it for a long time, so something’s not adding up.
#I've seen pile-ons and singling out which I thought were ill-timed or unhelpful#which I've addressed in another post#I think if a woman isn't directly harming a woman you'll do more to bring her to radical feminism by making general posts#rather than singling her out and calling her a bad feminist#but that's quite a bit different from dick worshipper etc.#like there was a lot I didn't like from radblr way back when#there were so many political lesbians that you couldn't tell when a thoughtful pro-separatist argument was going to slide into that#you couldn't tell when a heterosexual voluntary celibate post was going to then argue that heterosexuality was socialized#today's radblr that I can see is just not that#but thoughtful arguments are being treated as if they were#people being accused of shit they did not say#all the comparisons to lesbians with incels or men in general like what the fuck#YOU are the ones making things unpleasant here now#not the lesbians#not the pro-separatists#can we address one another's arguments in their own words and not by what you think they mean based on what someone else said please?#you can in fact respectfully disagree on certain points#we can in fact reclaim feminism and let radical feminism stay radical#it's okay#once upon a time I remember a Take Back The Night rally where the radical feminists were identified and welcomed with open arms#and the thing was most of the women there were not radical feminists#and that was completely okay and acknowledged#and we could still all unite for the common cause of women being safe at night#I remember in my early liberal feminist days--and I do mean liberal feminist not the faux-feminists that *libfem* tends to refer to now--#I would occasionally visit Twisty Faster's blog and I thought it was extreme but intriguing and refreshing#something that maybe wasn't for me but that I recognized as an important viewpoint nonetheless#and I was definitely not the only liberal feminist who felt that way#radical and liberal and other feminists often united against MRAs#god I wish we could go back to that.

I understand where the people who say Criston is a sexist incel with a Madonna/Whore complex, are coming from .But I can still list my reasons on why I think they’re wrong.
1)Calling Rhaenyra the c- word wasn’t a good thing. But he did apologize after that and he despises her a someone who took advantage of him ,not as a woman .
2) After Rhaenyra ,we see him having no problem with women in power,or generally women who aren’t meek and quiet .He happily takes orders from Alicent after all .
3) No ,he doesn’t see her as Madonna ,he is not idealizing her .He literally has her telling him to try to gouge a kid’s eye out ,try to main Rhaenyra, he sees her being at her most lowest an angry both in the Driftmark scene and in episode 6 where she is ranting about how frustrated she is by Rhaenyra’s having bastards ,he sees her shouting at a man in ep 9 and defending the woman who hurted them both (thought this is mostly because he knows that she still a small soft spot for Rhaenyra and that she is generally merciful so).Guys he sees all of this,he doesn’t have much material to idealize her .But that’s fine ,because he loves (platonic or romantic doesn’t matter ) as she is .He is still at her side after all of this .
4) That line in ep 9 where he scolds Aemond for how he treats sex workers “ Every woman is an image of the mother” .Which proves that is not that he has a problem with women having sex outside marriage ,he has a problem with being taken advantage of by someone in a much higher position of power and who he has devoted himself with (Rhaenyra).
5) No ,he is not an incel .First of all he is a voluntary celibate ,which is the contrary of an incel .But the reason he Is angry at Rhaenyra is because there was an element of coercion when they had sex ,and he has every right to feel violated.
6) “He is the only one who saw Rhaenyra killing the white hart and he still usurps her !” Mh .What if he doesn’t care ? Like it’s not about misoginy ,if Rhaenyra was a man and he was taken advantage of by a man he would still give no fucks. Also ,maybe not everyone believes that a white hart makes you a chosen one ,yk?”
He is dornish, and women are allowed to inherit the crown I’m sure that wasn’t a problem with Rhaenyra .The thing he that he is loyal to the Greens now so of course he is gonna put Aegon on the throne .
7) I confess this is more of a bonus ,but he is literally the only one who cares about what happens to Alicent and I’m sure that he ,her only friend ,knows to some degree the abuse the has to face .

as much as i loooooove clowning on zane, i do have to say that incel zane is inaccurate slander.
mystreet zane doesn't desire a romantic partner enough to be considered an incel. even when he was down bad for aph, he never bothered to pursue a romantic relationship as he valued their friendship too much to jeopardize it. while this is the bare minimum, i would like to point out that he is the only one of aph's guy friends to respect her boundaries like that. also based on the amount of in-universe fangirls zane has, its safe to say his celibacy is entirely voluntary.
mcd zane isn't celibate enough to be an incel. he's a terrible person but damn does that terrorist have rizz.
y'all can bully him for being emo in his thirties though that's fair game.

We've been thinking about posting about this these last days. It's a debate that has been going on on sm since last Saturday.
Basque actor Telmo Irureta was awarded best breakout actor at the Goyas for his role in La consagración de la primavera. We haven't seen it, btw.
The controversy came when during his acceptance speech, Telmo Irureta stated that disabled people like him have the right to sexuality just like the rest, since they also f*ck (verbatim). Later in an interview he said that he hadn't turned to sex assistants but he had payed sex workers and that prostitution mustn't disappear because bodies like his aren't attractive.
Tumblr media
And of course after all this people on sm have started to share their opinion, by praising or criticising him. We have some doubts:
Firstly, what is the right to sexuality? Does it actually exist?
Disabled people can only get laid based on their looks, as he implies? Isn't there anything deeper than how a body looks or is shaped? Will nobody have sex with a disabled person voluntarily?
Regarding prostitution, as a user - he himself said it - does he actually do some research to find a voluntary sex worker or does he just pay a woman he knows nothing about and that may be forced to prostitute herself? Can a client actually do a research on this?
Why is this issue only adressed when the disabled person is a man, and never discussed when it's a woman?
And then we've read some commentaries on sm defending how sex is a physiological need and quite honestly, that being the case, celibate and sex-avoiding ace people would all be dead by now, right?
We've been doubting to post this because we feel the issue is too complex and we lack education in almost every controversial point, but eventually decided that it'd be good to post and see if we can learn a thing or two.
What's your take on this?

With all the fandom rage going around, I think we might need to brush up on our vocab. Not for nothing, but I have seen words just used confidently wrong so much, it’s crushing my soul.
Incel
This is a portmanteau. Two words smashed together to create a new word. The two words used are involuntary celibate.
This means that by definition, Cole is NOT an incel, as he voluntarily took his vows. He is a VOLUNTARY celibate.
Misogynist
A person who is strongly prejudiced against women. A woman hater.
Someone not siding with Rhaenyra and not upholding her claim for the shit she herself voluntarily did doesn’t make them a misogynist. A person whose sole reason for opposing her being “she is a woman and women are bad rulers” is misogynistic, but you will find very little of that on this site.
Also, pointing out the misogynistic laws of this fictional universe does not make someone a misogynist. It means they have the ability to understand words and shit. Considering the context of this post, I’m not even surprised I have to explain that.
Rape
The act of having penetrative sex without consent.
That means book!Aegon was, in fact, NOT a rapist. Touching someone’s backside and inserting something into them against their will are two very different things.
High Treason
…Attempting to undermine the lawfully established line of succession…
Specifically, the law of this fictional universe is that a bastard cannot inherit unless legitimized by the king. So Rhaenyra very clearly commits high treason by pretending the Strong boys aren’t bastards
Bastard
A child born to two unwed parents.
No it doesn’t matter who all is cool with pretending otherwise. A bastard is a bastard unless legitimized, and lying about their parentage is considered high treason.
In Westeros, marriages are a contract meant to combine and continue two bloodlines. Having a child outside this contract is very looked down upon in this society, and the child has no rights of inheritance.
Birthright
A particular right of possession or privilege one has from birth.
Meaning a RIGHT they are BORN into. Rhaenyra’s birthright was to marry whoever her parents decided. Not the crown. This is later solidified when she was named heir. The show itself (as well as GRRM) get this wrong quite a bit, which is strange considering it’s pretty self explanatory.
Aegon did not steal Rhaenyra’s birthright. As the eldest surviving female of Viserys, she was rightfully owed an arranged marriage. You will notice, Aegon doesn’t stop her from this at all.
Rhaenyra actually took Aegon’s birthright. Being born male meant he was rightfully owed the throne upon Viserys death. By upholding her claim (which is almost laughable considering it was ‘daddy said so!’ And also nullified by her high treason) Rhaenyra is trying to take Aegon’s birthright. Even Aemond acknowledges that the throne is Aegon’s birthright.
Secondhand Knowledge
Knowledge that is not gleaned straight from the source. Knowledge attained from others rather than witnessing it for one’s self.
I’m know, it seems ridiculously self explanatory, but I have had people argue this point with me. Baffling how people will tell you that you are wrong and stupid when they have no clue what they are talking about. Just confidently incorrect.
So, now that we have a few key words cleared up for everyone to understand, let the raging continue, I guess.

The incel to trans pipeline is real, huh?
I ............. really wouldn't know. I'm not celibate, I lost my virginity at um ... well ... lets just say before 18 and if I choose not to have sex, it's 1000% voluntary because my DM's are overflowing with horny to the point I generally don't know what to do (like wtf, I'm flattered but holy fffffffffuuu-). I don't even have an OnlyFans and I've been solicited for sex multiple times ... by women mostly (say you're gay and a trans girl and holy shit). I have a partner I'm married to (I love you), a girlfriend (I love you too), and a Dom (Mistress, if I wasn't supposed to say anything, I'm sooooo sorry, please forgive me). So uh ... yeah!
I find this ask hilarious because I know it's trying to be insulting but ...
Tumblr media
... this was me casually pre-HRT, and this fake improvisation of a man never once had a problem getting laid or getting shamelessly hit on, and this ...
Tumblr media
... dumb moron of a girl that is me now is somehow min-maxing her dating pool options despite being very cozy with what she's got right now. Like, I could maybe do a one-night stand once I have the confidence in myself but ... I've been threatened to be left drooling in the sheets of some very aggressive lesbians, and more than a few enbies have uh ... shared some vivid descriptions of how wrecked I'd be if we hooked up, and am scared.
I recognize this is kind of flexing, but like ... I'm transitioning for myself, and fully expected my sex appeal to tank and my options to go down, not sky rocket up where I'm genuinely terrified. I'm only 2 and 1/2 years in, without FFS or SRS/GRS. The FUCK am I going to be dealing with in 5 years?!? Or post "the cutening" of FFS?!?!?! ... or post SRS/GRS?!?!
So like, fuck you, but also ... fuck me, what is even happening right now?!

SEEKING PARTICIPANTS FOR RESEARCH STUDY ON SAME-SEX ATTRACTED/GAY LATTER-DAY SAINT MEN
A grad student at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking participants for their master’s thesis, a research study on same-sex attracted/gay Latter-day Saint men who currently live single and celibate and who are publicly “out”.
This is an unbiased research study that is interested in the men’s experiences and opinions, and all points of view are welcome!
It involves recorded interviews conducted over the phone or via Zoom. The study is voluntary and confidential, and all personally identifiable information will be removed from any written reports, so no one will know who the participants are.
If you are a same-sex attracted/gay Latter-day Saint man who is publicly “out” and who is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and are interested in participating in this study, please message me.

tip to that one anon,
If you find yourself being truthfully attracted to men in any way shape or form/can see yourself being with a man in a romantic manner etc. ure probably bi (if ure attracted to men but don’t wanna date one/you’re voluntary celibate for whatever reason you’re still bi)
Comphet is when you’re FORCING yourself to like men due to societal/environmental norms etc. Comphet is pretty fucking tormenting and is not a pleasant experience at all since you’re basically trying to like something you would never like ever. Kind of like forcing yourself to eat a rlly gross plate of food that u would never touch but everyone around u is telling u to eat from it
Hope this helped

thank you cherry pie 🥧

Modern AU Dan Hai is suddenly introduced to the biggest caltrop in his "totally 100% voluntary celibate lifestyle"
“…not that I’m into her or anything.”
Wen Ying, eyes shut, bites back his sigh lest he give the impression that he’s encouraging this conversation.
“She’s just nice!” Dan Hai blathers to the dark. “And pretty! But in that small town way. Not my type at all.”
He’s being punished. Wei Qing is punishing him.
“And even if she were, it’s against the rules! The center was strict about that. No pussy for two years. Well. They didn’t say it that way, but...“
“Sometimes-“ To his dismay, his mouth opens. “People talk without the expectation of sex.”
“Oh. You’re awake!”
