Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market - Forecast (2022 - 2027)
Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Overview:
According to the World Health Organization, malnutrition is one of the greatest global health challenges. Approximately 155 million children under the age of 5 years were suffering from malnutrition in the year 2016, a statistic that hasn’t experienced any alleviation since[1].  Combating this problem requires a consistent infusion of essential nutrients, and vitamins in the bodies of children at a young age. This has been a building block for the vitamins and nutrition supplements market, which according to the analyst at IndustryARC had an estimated market size between $52 billion to $56 billion in 2018. The market is also estimated to grow at a noteworthy CAGR of 5.2%-5.6% during the forecast period of 2019-2025. Geographically, North America leads the vitamins and nutrition supplements market with a regional share of 34%-38% as of 2018 owing to Food and Agriculture Organization’s dedicated efforts towards eradicating malnutrition amongst children of America, and the world.

Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Outlook:
In the current world, dietary supplements are significant in fighting malnutrition, which is equally faced by overweight, and obese people due to their poor eating habits. Vitamin and nutrition supplements are easily accessible and do not require a prescription for purchasing from the market. Nutritional supplements include antibiotics, enzymes, polyphenols, amino acids, and collagen capsules. With an increase in working class, it has become harder to acquire all the nutrients through a balanced diet alone. This drives the vitamins, and nutritional supplements market as people solicit the products for achieving their nutritional goals. These supplements are abundantly available in hypermarkets, and supermarkets which also forms the leading segment of the market, and is expected to grow at a normal CAGR of 2%-3% during the forecast period of 2019-2025.

Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Drivers:
Hidden Hunger: A Stealthy Epidemic
Contrary to popular belief, obese and overweight people are equally likely to suffer from malnutrition. Termed as ‘hidden hunger’, this is a severe problem where people get sufficient calories, but miss out on imperative nutrients. This makes products from the vitamins and nutrition market absolutely essential for the general public. International organizations like the World Food Programme are tirelessly working towards ensuring better health in the public through a combination of a balanced diet, and consumption of vitamins and nutrition supplements. Hidden hunger propels the growth of the market, and increases sales in the supermarkets.
Lack of Essential Nutrients Causes Deficiencies
Vitamin deficiency causes many diseases in our bodies. A lack of vitamin A is attributed to night blindness, and a lack of Vitamin C causes scurvy. Vitamin D deficiency, the most common of all, causes bone pain, and muscle weakness in the body. Needless to say, in the current global scenario, with a large number of adult population working inside offices, it is not possible to meet our daily nutritional needs just by diet alone. Similarly, consumers are also embracing a holistic lifestyle for better productivity in their personal lives. This factor drives the growth of vitamin and nutrition supplements market, and helps it earn more market revenue.

Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Challenges:
One of the major challenges of the vitamins and nutrition supplements market is the propagation of eating a nutritional diet. Harvard Health has disseminated the idea of acquiring all essential vitamins, and minerals through a diet alone instead of consuming vitamins, and minerals[2]. Companies can combat this challenge by producing nutritional supplements from organic sources, and making their products more natural.
Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Key Players Perspective:
The Archer Daniels Midland Company, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois is one of the key players in the vitamins, and nutrition supplements market. In 2018, the company acquired Neovia, an animal nutrition solution company for 1.56 billion in order to expand the footprint of their supplements, and introduce animal nutrition in their products as well.
Some of the other key players in the vitamins and nutrition supplements market are E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Bayer AG, Koninklijke DSM N.V., Archer Daniels Midland Company, BASF SE, Glanbia PLC, Herbalife International of America, Inc., NBTY INC, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc, NutraMarks Inc., and Pharmavite LLC, Others.

Vitamins And Nutrition Supplements Market Trends:
Consumers Gravitating Towards Organic Supplements
The rise of organic industry has reached the dietary supplements market as well. Companies are now developing 100% organic vitamins and nutrition supplements from agricultural produce which are in high demand amongst the customer base. These organic supplements have to comply with federal laws laid down by The American Herbal Products Association, Organic Trade Association, and Quality Assurance International Inc.

How vitamins are made?
Eat from nature, not from the lab.
The original creator of the multi vitamin funded by the Rockefeller’s was named Casmir Funk. After his creations came Marmite, Ovaltine, Brewers Yeast, Vegemite, or Nutritional Yeast. This is where the “vitamin donuts” ads came from 🤔

Just curious about things like mineral blocks, cuttlefish, bird sand and other things like that.
Are there any that arent safe and are sold anyway and are there any that are needed to have a healthy bird?
Im getting a bird soon and i just wanna make sure what im getting them is safe
Virtually all mineral blocks are either providing false claims, harmful, or just aren’t needed when a bird is on a good diet. Mineral blocks or mineral perches are typically bad because of the excessive sweeteners and dyes they put in the product, in perch form this becomes a much larger problem as the powdered dye rubs off on the bird and can lead to feather destructive behaviour as they try to rip the stained feathers off their body. Vitamin supplement blocks are largely unnecessary if your bird is eating a good diet already, leaving them free access can cause problems since if they’re already eating a good diet they won’t need excess supplementation and having free access to chew and swallow the block can cause overdoses.
Cuttlebone isn’t a bad choice, and I do use them, the only thing with cuttlebone is that not a lot of calcium gets absorbed from it. Which is good because it helps prevent overdosing, but if your bird is in a drastic medical need for excess calcium it may not provide the doses you’re looking for. It is helpful in levelling out their nutrition, isn’t filled with sugar or dyes which makes it safer/healthier, and can be a fun texture for birds to rip apart without risks of overdosing. It does still provide some absorbable calcium, just not enough to really cause problems if they’re free fed the cuttlebone.
“Conditioning blocks” and “edible wood perches” are both generally ones to be wary of. Both are usually just designed to be desirable for the bird to chew on to grind their beak down. This can be done just as easily with an inedible toy, most parrots don’t eat inedible objects (there’s the odd bird out who might), there isn’t really a need for a conditioning block if there’s adequate enrichment. Again the blocks are usually harshly dyed which can transfer to feathers and some may be flavoured to encourage the bird to chew and swallow them which isn’t great when they’re usually mixed with grit or wood, and some may be vitamin fortified which could lead to an OD.
Grit or “bird sand” is another one you’ll see and how it’s still marketed to parrots is beyond me. Grit is tiny stones or oyster shells that travel through the digestive system to sit in the final stage of processing, the gizzard. The gizzard is a mechanical stomach that breaks down food by squeezing and grinding. These tiny rocks are supposed to sit in the gizzard and aid in that grinding process as the rocks get crushed against seed hulls and break them down faster. Thing is, parrots don’t eat seed hulls and their diet doesn’t consist of anything that has bones or other hard material. When they eat grit the stones end up just getting ground against the gizzard walls instead and can cause an array of digestive problems including lacerations to their digestive tract.

Special Müller Mail: RDY edition
Hello everyone
and welcome to the Müller Mail Special.
Tumblr media
FC Bayern's season is now officially over. Now the home European Championship is just around the corner and I can hardly wait to experience a great football festival in our country - as a player on the pitch, but also as a football fan.
We will be talking in detail about this major event in the coming weeks. In this special edition of Müller Mail, I would like to tell you about a project that I have put my heart and soul into.
After months of development work, RDY Protein Meal, the new protein drink meal that I launched together with ESN, is finally on the market. I was hooked from the very first idea, back in early 2023.
But first things first.
Tumblr media
What is RDY?
We've all been there - a hectic everyday life, little time for a balanced meal, we're on the go and still want to eat smart.
This is exactly where the RDY drinkable meal comes into play for me.
RDY stands for "ready" and is a protein drinkable meal. Together with the experts at ESN, we have worked on a recipe that delivers the best possible performance and, in my opinion, is now the tastiest drinkable meal on the market.
RDY now contains 38g of high-quality protein, fiber, important vitamins and minerals. The energy/carbohydrates come from valuable MCT oil, among other things. And what makes me particularly happy is that all four flavors taste really nice.
Tumblr media
Why RDY?
My basic idea is to pass on my experience and knowledge of nutrition and performance.
And now I even have the opportunity to launch products on the market with my partner ESN that help me personally to nourish my body better.
ESN is one of the leading German supplement manufacturers and the collaboration has been extremely positive so far.
Our first product is RDY Protein Meal.
During the development of the RDY protein drinkable meal, I was also in the laboratory several times to fine-tune the recipe and test the taste.
Protein was an important factor here.
Science currently agrees that a sufficient protein intake is not only filling, but also essential for a healthy and efficient body. As an athlete, I try to consume around 150g of protein (1.5-2g per kilo of body weight) a day. Of course, this may vary for you, so it's best to find out.
150 grams of protein a day is not so easy to achieve, even with three freshly prepared and balanced meals. An RDY Protein Meal often comes at just the right time.
One thing is important to me: drinking meals should not replace a balanced and freshly prepared meal. Rather, they are a much better alternative to snacks with empty calories such as chocolate bars, jelly babies, potato chips and the like. To be honest, we often snack our way through the day.
This is where RDY comes in and offers an excellent solution when you need something quick and easy, but still want to provide your body with high-quality nutrients. And of course it's really tasty too 😋
Tumblr media
My RDY favorite.
I love all the varieties, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would currently be the Milk Chocolate. The creamy chocolate flavor immediately reminds me of the delicious cocoa of my childhood.
A little Müller tip: In recent weeks, I've been drinking RDY Protein Meal in the evening with a handful of nuts and a few berries. This gives me something tasty to drink and something to bite into.
During the day, the banana flavor has currently taken the lead.
So I'm all the more excited to find out which variety you love.
Tumblr media
Exclusively at REWE & online.
Now it's your turn.
The RDY Protein Drinking Meals are available exclusively in your REWE store. I'd be delighted if you'd pick up a drink and give it a try. For those who prefer to order online, you can do so directly from ESN using this link: To the ESN website
Your opinion on RDY counts.
Now I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say. The initial feedback has been great and the drink is already sold out in some REWE stores. But whether it's positive or constructive - I really want to hear your honest opinion. Let me know how you like my protein drink and whether it helps you in your everyday life.
You can also send me photos or videos of you enjoying your new favorite drink. Or simply link to your Instagram or TikTok post about RDY Protein Meal.
With your permission (please be sure to add a comment) I will share some of them on my Instagram channel.
I will be giving away 3 RDY surprise packages from me among all entries.
Thank you so much for your continued support. Without you, my fans, it wouldn't be half as nice. You only win together. And that's exactly what we'll be doing at the upcoming European Championships.
Here's to an unforgettable football festival, keep your chin up and stay healthy,
Your Thomas

Vitamin C!!!
Did you know that ascorbic acid is actually synthetic vitamin C? What’s more, it is usually GMO vitamin C, which means it was derived from GMO corn.
If you are learning this for the first time, it can be a rather shocking realization as almost all vitamin C supplements on the market use ascorbic acid.
Even more disturbing, ascorbic acid is frequently marketed as natural vitamin C and added to organic foods as a natural preservative. Truly natural forms of vitamin C and synthetic ascorbic acid seem to be used interchangeably.
NEARLY ALL juices and fruit products are loaded up with ascorbic acid, even many organic, healthfood store versions. It seems that if a product is labeled “high in Vitamin C”, consumers buy more of it.
A lot of folks are being fooled by these misleading semantics. There is a growing body of evidence that those consuming high doses of ascorbic acid should have reason to worry.
Three Studies Suggest Caution with High Dose Ascorbic Acid
The Winter 2009 edition of Wise Traditions cites 3 studies which give pause about large doses of vitamin C. The first study (from the Jun 15, 2001 issue of Science) showed that “synthetic vitamin C may contribute to the formation of genotoxins that can lead to cancer”.
A second study presented to the American Heart Association showed a link between consumption of only 500mg of vitamin C per day and a greater propensity toward thickening of the arteries (Los Angeles Times, March 3, 2000).
Even more recently, athletes taking 1000mg of vitamin C per day showed reduced endurance capacity from interference with antioxidant enzymes (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Jan 2008).
This information should give pause to anyone who is actively taking synthetic vitamin C supplements such as those Emergen-C packets that are available everywhere, from pharmacies and health food stores to even gas stations!
Supplements like these are NOT boosting immunity and are NOT good for you!
Synthetic vitamins such as ascorbic acid act more like drugs in the body rather than whole food nutrients with all the available co-factors. Taking any synthetic vitamin can cause imbalances in the body and should be avoided.
Another worrisome and popular trend is the recommendation of some alternative health professionals to do a “vitamin C flush” during illness. This therapy (if you can call it that) calls for large doses of ascorbic acid until the onset of diarrhea. This approach to regaining wellness has never made any sense to me. Now, with more studies indicating the danger of high doses of vitamin C, caution seems well founded.
Fan of Linus Pauling? Consider This ….
If you are a fan of Linus Pauling who popularized the notion of huge doses of Vitamin C for the common cold in the 1970’s, consider this. GMO Vitamin C did not exist when Pauling was conducting his studies. GMO derived Vitamin C is what most people are unwittingly taking today!
What’s more, the studies indicating the danger of high doses of vitamin C over long periods of time had not been done yet. They were conducted long after Pauling died in 1994.
What about High Dose, Intravenous Ascorbic Acid?
What about high dose, intravenous ascorbic acid for the very ill? Note that the vitamin C for IV use is almost always derived from GMO corn as well as being extremely high dose and synthetic ascorbic acid only.

As a veggie person, what are your dietary staples? Also do you actually account for protein and nutrition values or do you just eat? I’m not creative in the kitchen so I kind of just eat
oh wowie!! ok to be a responsible person i'm prefacing this by saying i am NOT a doctor/dietician/qualified medical professional in any capacity, i am just a person who is alive and who is sustaining that vitality in this particular way because it works for me!!
i'm a lot like you in that i just eat without being particularly or overly conscious of it. i've been vegan for almost a decade so i have figured out a way to feed myself that meets the needs of my body but that can look very different for every person. pls don't take this as gospel it's just what works for me <3
the bulk of my diet is just straight up fruits/vegetables. lots of whole grains/starches/carbs (rice, pasta, quinoa, etc.—not a lot of bread just bc i don't tend to eat it quick enough but i'm not remotely opposed to it!!) i get my protein predominantly from tofu/edamame (soy)/legumes/HUMMUS!! and I do regularly eat plant-based protein bars/protein supplemented snacks because it's something I'm concious of possibly not getting enough of in my diet otherwise. there's a bit of healthy fat in my diet too from things like nuts/seeds and their butters, and protein from that too, but definitely not enough to say that it's a huge part of my overall consumption.
i eat mainly whole foods at this point in my veganism, so while i appreciate the wide variety of dairy and meat alternatives that are on the market (a LIFETIME away from what was available when i went plant based) they don't make up a large/regular part of my diet. def still fuck w a vegan grilled cheese or veggie chicken nugget every once in a while!! but cheese alternatives are probably like... i buy them maybe once a month? veggie meat is probably only 4-5 times a year tbh! eating out at restaurants is different obviously, but in terms of what i'm eating at home i'd say those numbers are accurate!!
i need to also point out that i DO supplement (or try to lol) iron/b12 (b12 shots usually), and as we go into winter i'm gonna pick up some vitamin d and possibly an omega 3! i think supplementing vitamins is important for lots of ppl (not just vegetarians/vegans!) and if you can you should talk to your doctor about what might be a good option for you :)
love u! eat what makes you feel good! dress warm!

Exposed: Money Waste? What Multivitamins REALLY are & Should You TAKE Vitamins at all? Do This Before Wasting Your Money...
Discover the Best Multivitamin Supplements for Men: https://super-achiever.com/best-multivitamin-for-men
#multivitamins #multivitamin #vitamins
Hello, Health Enthusiasts! 🌟 Today we're tackling a topic that's everywhere: Multivitamins. Are they the magical pills for health, or just an overhyped trend?
Before we dive into the vitamin vortex, make sure to subscribe and hit the bell icon so you never miss our health hacks and facts. Now, let's dissect the multivitamin mania! Decoding Multivitamins: What’s Inside the Bottle? Multivitamins, affectionately known as "multis," come in various forms: pills, gummies, powders, and liquids. But here's the catch – there's no standard recipe! Each brand could have a different concoction of vitamins and minerals, making the landscape a bit murky. Over half of American adults are popping these supplements, but the million-dollar question is: do they really need to? 🤔💊 In places with diverse food availability, severe vitamin deficiencies are rare, thanks to enriched foods and varied diets. Sure, multivitamins can be lifesavers in certain scenarios, especially for those with specific nutritional needs. But for the average Joe and Jane, is it an essential or just an added expense?
The Multibillion-Dollar Question: To Spend or Not to Spend? The supplement industry is massive, with brands vying for your attention (and wallet). Yet, splurging isn't necessary; even basic, store-brand supplements can meet your needs if they contain the Recommended Daily Allowance of essential nutrients. A pro tip: look for the "USP" seal, ensuring what's on the label is what's in the bottle, tested for purity and safety. 🏷️🔍 The Great Multivitamin Debate: Miracle or Myth? Here's where opinions diverge. Some champion multivitamins as dietary gap-fillers, while skeptics argue they're just leading to fancy urine. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force steps in with a reality check – there's insufficient evidence to claim these supplements prevent cancer or heart disease. And while we're busting myths, let's talk alternatives: organic compounds like Shilajit might offer what multivitamins lack, but that's a story for another video (check it out if you haven't!). Navigating the Vitamin Verbiage: Hype vs. Health Beware of bold promises like enhanced brain health, boundless energy, or flawless skin.
These claims are often more about marketing than measurable benefits. If you're contemplating the multivitamin route, a chat with a registered dietitian could illuminate your actual needs versus what's just vitamin hype. 🧠✨ Your Turn: Vitamin Voyages and Tales Now, we want to hear from you! Have multivitamins been a game-changer in your wellness journey, or do you consider them unnecessary? Share your vitamin ventures in the comments below.
Stay tuned, as our next video will delve deeper into the benefits of multivitamins – are they truly beneficial, or is it all just a placebo effect? Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on this vital vitamin verdict. Until then, keep striving for your healthiest life, and goodbye for now! 🍏👋

These past few years, I have become a huge advocate for feeding fresh food to dogs to enhance their lives. However, you don't exactly have to transition your dog to a 100% fresh food diet in order to gain the benefits of fresh food.
Simply adding fresh food to your dog's kibble can go a long way in improving their nutrition and overall health. For instance, one study done a group of dogs in 2005 revealed that feeding vegetables just three times a week had significantly lowered their risk of developing cancer, compared to dogs who were only fed kibble.
Asian markets, in particular, have some very beneficial fresh food items that aren't typically found at your local grocery store. These food items, however, are not intended to fully replace your dog's food. Remember - too much of something good can be bad for you.
Instead, they should be offered in moderation as treats, or just small amounts topped over an already complete and balance meal. As a general rule of thumb, treats/toppers should never make more than 10% of your dog's overall diet.
Tumblr media
Bok choy (Chinese cabbage) is full of essential vitamins and minerals needed to support a dog’s eyesight, cardiac function, digestion, bone strength, and immunity. Sulfurophane - a compound found in bok choy and other cruciferous vegetables - has been linked to inhibiting cancer cell growth, lowering blood pressure, and activating the nuclear factor Nrf2 which prevents the development of diabetes and its complications. Bok choy’s low calorie, high fiber content also make it a good option for a snack/food topper for dogs who need to control their weight.
Preparation: Lightly steam or boil for better nutrient absorption. Cooking will also help neutralize the enzyme (myrosinase) that can decrease thyroid function. You should also chop/trim their long leaves to avoid choking hazards.
Tumblr media
Goji berries (wolfberries) are rich in amino acids, carotenoids which support healthy vision, and polyphenols that have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and cardio-protective properties. Studies on goji berry supplementation in animals have shown that it has the potential to help lower cholesterol, protect the liver by increasing hepatic antioxidant activity, as well as enhance metabolic homeostasis and prevent diabetes-induced renal inflammation.
Preparation: Remove stems if still attached and cut/mash berries. If dried, soak in water until softened to avoid passing straight through the GI tract and losing the benefits of its nutrients.
Tumblr media
Offal refers to the internal organs and variety meats of animals that can be consumed as food (i.e. lung, heart, kidney, liver, gizzard, head, feet, etc.) The word 'offal' literally translates to "fall off", and thus, whatever falls off the skeleton during the butchering process. Offal is densely loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fats - so small amounts go a long way. Pet owners who use these as ingredients as part of a complete and balanced recipe should keep in mind that each organ is unique in its nutrient profile - dependent on the animal it is sourced from and how it is raised. For example, grass-fed beef may contain less fat yet more vitamin A and E than grain-fed beef, and beef liver has significantly more vitamin A and copper than chicken liver.
Preparation: Boil in water or low-sodium broth. May also be baked or dehydrated into jerky treats.
Tumblr media
Oyster mushrooms are a good source of protein and fiber, and vitamins that support healthy digestion. They can help to increase satiety and maintain healthy body weight. Oyster mushrooms are also full of pantothenic acid which help to maintain cognitive function and healthy skin/coat. Beta-glucans derived from oyster mushrooms have also been shown to reduce inflammation and strengthen immunity.
Preparation: Lightly sauté or boil in water or low-sodium broth. Raw or dried mushrooms can be difficult for dogs to digest.
Tumblr media
Purple sweet potato (Ube or Okinawan sweet potato) are typically found in grocery stores more commonly during the fall/winter seasons. They contain more antioxidants than regular sweet potatoes due to the anthocyanins that cause their violet hue. While all potato varieties may impact blood sugar levels because of their high carbohydrate content, purple potatoes may exert less of an effect because of their high polyphenol content that decreases the absorption of starches in the intestines. In addition, they have been linked to improving blood pressure, likely due to their high potassium content.
Preparation: Peel skin and bake until soft for better digestibility and to prevent intestinal blockages. May be boiled and drained to reduce oxalate intake for dogs with a history of bladder stones, or prone to urinary issues.
Tumblr media
Quail eggs are small, yet packed with protein and essential fatty acids, and have a higher ratio of iron, riboflavin, and vitamin b12 than chicken eggs. It is even safe and can be beneficial to feed them with the shells included for added calcium. Quail eggs have been linked to improving bone growth/healing, reducing liver damage, and increasing energy levels. While some studies have shown evidence of quail eggs treating allergies in humans and mice, they may be less likely to trigger reactions than chicken eggs in dogs who have poultry sensitivities.
Preparation: Wash thoroughly, and handle gently as they are more fragile due to their tiny size. Cooking methods are similar to that of chicken eggs, yet require less time.
Tumblr media
Sardines contain all the amino acids your dog needs for optimal health, making it a "complete protein". They are also notorious for being rich in omegas and coenzyme q-10, which help support heart and brain health. What sets sardines apart from other fish, too, is that they are smaller and more short-lived species than larger predator fish and may have less of a risk for mercury poisoning. Because they are so small and have soft bones, you can feed them whole to your pets.
Preparation: Bake or dehydrate. If already purchased as dried, be sure to make sure there is no added salt or seasonings. If canned, preferably those stored in water only.
Tumblr media
Sushi rice (Japanese sticky rice) has a high proportion of starch and moisture, giving it a stickier texture when cooked. Sushi rice has virtually zero fat, yet still provides a desirable balance of nutrients while remaining gentle on a dog’s digestive tract. Its higher iron content than regular rice supports healthy blood circulation and can provide more energy to dogs who are recovering from illness. Cooling/refrigerating the rice before serving also enables more retrogradation of prebiotic fiber, helping to lower glycemic responses and maximize intestinal function.
Preparation: Rinse thoroughly and soak in water (with 1tbsp apple cider vinegar - optional) before cooking. If you don’t have a rice cooker or instant pot, boil on the stove until the water is completely absorbed. May be cooked with bone broth for added flavor. You can also use small amounts of beet root powder, turmeric, or blue spirulina to add color and nutrients.

Animal Feed Additive Market- Nourishing Industry Landscape
Animal feed additives are used to meet the nutritional needs of animals through the feed itself. This combination of ingredients is added to the animal feed mix to fulfill specific growth demands. These additives are usually added in micro quantity. It is used to increase efficiency, control diseases, and rate of gain.
Animal feed additives are vital in modern agriculture to enhance the nutritional capacity of livestock. From vitamins and minerals, probiotics, and additives continue to contribute to growth and overall performance. Animal feed additives are increasingly being demanded for optimizing feed quality and promoting animal welfare.
Antioxidants and amino acids supplements are growth promoters as the livestock industry is challenged by growing demand for the population. Ensuring the supply of quality food and animal well-being from a sustainability perspective are upfront challenges ahead of companies.
Innovation and research are keys to improving food production sustainability and their impact on animal farming. It reduced the carbon footprint of agriculture. Farmers have become increasingly aware of their feed impact and the overall performance of their livestock. Stringent quality standards of livestock feed are pushing farmers towards high-quality feed additives in animal nutrition programs.
Several countries have placed restrictions on the use of antibiotics in animal feed as it created conditions of antimicrobial resistance. The paradigm shift in the industry towards sustainable alternatives is anticipated to increase the share of animal feed additives in the coming years.

One of the most popular supplements for athletes, protein powders provide your body with a steady source of muscle-building protein. They're perfect for those looking to increase their muscle mass or recover faster from intense workouts. Protein powders contain whey.
Protein powders are a fast and low-calorie option to ingest more protein. Remember that a sufficient protein intake is crucial for seeing changes in your body composition. The recommended daily protein intake varies wildly depending on the source, so I suggest tracking your intake and adjusting the amount of protein according to the body changes you observe.

I've been using protein powders from My Protein for several years now. There are tons of flavors to choose from. They also offer vegetarian and vegan protein powders. I mix protein powders with water to get a protein shake, but you can also use milk or plant milk.
2. BCAAs
Branched-chain amino acids are essential for muscle growth and energy. BCAAs provide your body with the essential building blocks it needs to repair and build muscle.
I personally saw no difference when I used BCAAs before my workouts, but a lot of people include them in their routine.
3. Pre-Workouts
Pre-workout supplements are designed to give you a boost of energy before your workout. They contain ingredients such as caffeine and other stimulants that help increase your mental focus and physical performance.
Tumblr media
As much as I love to optimize my workouts, I am not a coffee drinker so the caffeine in pre-workouts made me jittery and nervous. But many people with a tolerance to caffeine swear by pre-workout supplements as they find they increase their energy and strength.
4. Creatine
Creatine is a popular supplement for athletes looking to improve strength and power. It's been scientifically proven to increase muscle growth, power output, and muscle recovery.
I highly recommend creatine, which is one of the best researched supplements on the market. I find that it improves my performance by about 10%. I currently take 3 grams of creatine per day.

5. Multivitamins
While all of these supplements are important for optimizing physical performance, multivitamins are sometimes essential for overall health and wellness. They help fill in the gaps of any nutrition deficiencies (eg. if you exclude a certain food group), giving you the energy and nutrients you need to stay healthy.
Before taking any multivitamins, I recommend getting a blood panel done to figure out if you actually have vitamin deficiencies. You might consider taking only a specific vitamin instead of a general multivitamin supplement.
Conclusion
Overall, supplements can be a great way to optimize your physical performance and get the most out of your workouts. However, it is important to do your research before starting any supplement regimen as there are potential risks associated with taking too much or not enough.
Additionally, monitoring your progress and tracking what you eat will help ensure that you're getting all the nutrients you need for optimal health. Ultimately, if used correctly, supplements can give you an edge in achieving your fitness goals- so don't forget them!

A Comprehensive Guide to Naturally Preventing Hair Loss
Tumblr media
Introduction : Hair loss can be a distressing experience, affecting both men and women of all ages. While there are numerous treatments and products available on the market, many people prefer to take a more natural approach to tackle this issue. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore a wide range of natural methods and remedies to help you prevent hair loss and promote healthy hair growth. From dietary changes to lifestyle adjustments and herbal remedies, we've got you covered with effective strategies that can make a real difference in maintaining your luscious locks.
Section 1: ( The Role of Nutrition ): A well-balanced diet is fundamental to healthy hair. Essential nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, and proteins, play a crucial role in hair growth and strength. Incorporating the following elements into your diet can significantly reduce hair fall:
Protein: Hair is primarily composed of a protein called keratin. Ensure you have an adequate intake of lean proteins like eggs, fish, lean meats, and legumes.
Iron: Iron deficiency can lead to hair loss. Include iron-rich foods such as spinach, lentils, and red meat in your meals.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: These healthy fats found in fatty fish (like salmon and mackerel), walnuts, and flaxseeds can promote scalp health and hair growth.
Vitamins: Vitamins such as A, C, and E are essential for healthy hair. These can be found in foods like sweet potatoes, citrus fruits, and nuts.
Biotin: Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is crucial for hair health. It's found in eggs, nuts, and leafy greens.
Section 2: ( Proper Hair Care ) The way you care for your hair can have a significant impact on hair fall. Here are some natural tips for maintaining healthy hair:
Gentle Washing: Avoid frequent and aggressive hair washing, which can strip your hair of its natural oils. Wash your hair every 2-3 days with a mild, sulfate-free shampoo.
Scalp Massage: Regular scalp massages can improve blood circulation and stimulate hair follicles. Use natural oils like coconut or almond oil for added benefits.
Natural Hair Products: Opt for natural and chemical-free hair care products. Harsh chemicals in shampoos and conditioners can weaken hair over time.
Avoid Heat Styling: Reduce the use of heat styling tools like straighteners and curling irons. If you must use them, apply a heat protectant spray.
Wide-Toothed Comb: When detangling your hair, use a wide-toothed comb to prevent breakage.
Section 3: ( Lifestyle Changes ) Our lifestyle choices can have a profound impact on hair health. Making the following adjustments can contribute to preventing hair loss naturally:
Stress Management: Chronic stress can lead to hair loss. Practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises.
Adequate Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Sleep is essential for hair repair and growth.
Hydration: Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Dehydration can make hair brittle and prone to breakage.
Smoking and Alcohol: Both smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can negatively affect hair health. Reducing or quitting these habits can benefit not only your hair but your overall well-being.
Physical Activity: Regular exercise can improve blood circulation, which is beneficial for hair follicles. Find an activity you enjoy and make it a part of your routine.
Section 4: ( Herbal Remedies and Supplements ) : Herbal remedies have been used for centuries to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. Some popular options include:
Aloe Vera: Aloe vera gel can be applied to the scalp to reduce dandruff and promote hair growth.
Hibiscus: Hibiscus flowers and leaves are known for their hair-strengthening properties. You can make a paste and apply it to your scalp.
Fenugreek: Fenugreek seeds can be soaked overnight and made into a paste for scalp application. They help strengthen hair roots.
Saw Palmetto: This herbal supplement is believed to block the hormone responsible for hair loss (DHT) and is often used to combat hair loss in men.
Conclusion
Preventing hair loss naturally requires patience and consistency in implementing these strategies. Remember that results may vary from person to person due to genetics and other factors. By nourishing your body with the right nutrients, adopting a healthy lifestyle, and using natural hair care methods, you can reduce hair fall and promote a healthier, more vibrant mane. Embrace these natural remedies, and you'll be well on your way to enjoying stronger, more resilient hair.
