Please help me pay for my dog Milo's surgery

I have never done this before but I'm out of options rn. my dog Milo needs TPLO surgery on his leg to fix his torn CCL muscle. he is in constant pain right now which could become permanent without the surgery. I'm disabled and currently in between jobs and cannot afford his surgery. please share. thank you so much <3

Vino and I went to a rehab vet and are going to be on a program of chiropractic therapy, massage, water treadmill, and laser therapy for four weeks.

The vet has tons of great things to say about her recovery which is super rewarding and gratifying. Obviously I was a little worried even though I know she seems to be doing great.

We are going to be brushing up on her place, touch, chin, stand and look, back up, and side step behaviors to hopefully make all this rehab easier for her and for the techs. Probably will post videos of our training, I keep meaning to do more of that and this is a great opportunity.

My dumb orange boy had to have emergency surgery this past Sunday and holy hell, those emergency vet prices. I was not expecting to be slapped with a several thousand dollar vet bill right before holiday shopping. He’s been home for a couple days now and seems to be doing well, spends most of his time napping. Does anyone have any advice for how to keep a cat from climbing on things? When he’s not fast asleep, this little shit is doing everything possible to dodge my attempts to keep him from jumping onto things lol.

Please bear with me as I've never had to make a post like this before.

My best friend is in need of serious financial aid in regards to her gorgeous kitty, Sasha. The whole story can be found on the GoFundMe, but I'll give you a short summary:

Upon a visit to the vet to get what they thought was an injury looked at, they were told it was actually bone cancer. Injuries can sometimes "aggravate" cancers like this, but at the same time, it might be the reason why they caught it when they did, as she wasn't showing any symptoms before this injury.

Due to the insane medical prices in the US, this really is a case of if they can't get the amputation paid for, then they will have to strongly consider putting Sasha down which is devastating in itself but especially when they've had her since she was a kitten & she's 14 now! Funds will either go towards getting the amputation sorted as well as all the aftercare for that, or just to keep her as comfortable as possible for her final weeks with us. It's really sad that any life on Earth can be cut short all because of lack of funds.

Of course, if you're reading this and have no means to help financially then that's okay! But please consider reblogging & sharing around so hopefully we can find some people who are willing/able to help with this.

I'm aware there are A LOT of fake posts for GoFundMe's, especially regarding cats and animals. I'm sure once my friend has printed medical bills she'll be happy to post them on the GoFundMe page as well. But again, I understand the weariness regarding these posts so I totally understand if people aren't comfortable donating, but at this point, she has no choice but to ask for help with this, so please consider reblogging at least!

Thinking fae!Price and Ghost thoughts. Thinking specifically about how animalistic Ghost is while he's trying to relearn being alive. Thinking about him going after Price. Price is safe, Price takes care of him, he's latched onto Price and everything that he seems to represent, and Price never does more than push his knee up against Ghost's throbbing cock. Never let's Ghost fuck him, never fucks Ghost, just gives him another body to cling to when he needs release. That's it, thats all Ghost gets. Price maintaining his control when he can't.

It doesn't matter if Price pins him or if Ghost pins Price. Doesn't matter if Ghost leans his weight against the hands the hold Price's shoulders against the ground. Doesn't matter that he's aching for more. If he wants to act like an animal he'll be treated like one, and it's a special sort of torture when Price grabs the back of his head and drags him close. Ghost feels the thick thigh that slots between his own, and presses his face against Price's neck while he ruts against it, almost ashamed that he still has these urges in his body. He would have thought he left them in the grave with the rest of his mind, but here he is tucked against Price having sin whisper low in his ear.

Because Price won't fuck him if he doesn't ask, and Ghost won't ask, won't even speak in those first few years. This is all he gets until he can control himself, until he's learned to be a person again. When other fae spit at Price and his guard dog they don't know how right they are, don't know how Ghost humps his leg, desperate for release, don't know how Price grips his hair tight to keep him from biting and tells him, "be a good boy and ask next time."

They only know the teeth that rip into them, the claws that tear their flesh, they only see the familiar pat Price lands on Ghost's shoulder and the immediate release of tension it brings him.

as many of you may recall, baz has been having trouble with a wound on his foot that just won’t heal. today he had surgery to remove the tissue and suture it together. they are splinting the foot to keep him from bending the joint the wound is on. hoping dearly that this fixes it! my poor baby. 😭 he doesn’t get to come home until tomorrow afternoon. please send him love to comfort him during his overnight stay.

Thank you so much for asking! We actually just went for her 8 week recheck Xrays last week and the great news is she is all healed! Her bone is totally back together and we have the all clear to work back up to normal activity!!

I’m so happy and relieved that she is okay and that things can get back to normal, and I can stop worrying like crazy about her leg any time she is out walking around.

We will still be doing some PT because she still isn’t using her back legs totally evenly, but other than that we will be phasing back into sport training.

YALL! I DID IT! I had my very first patient today! It was a golden retriever who came in for a recheck of an ear infection and I got to look at samples under the microscope and talk to the client and examine the dog and prescribe meds and make recommendations!! my first ever patient as a doctor and it went so so well!! what a perfect first day at work as Dr G!!

So y’all know we took in Tyr, the stray, a bit ago. 

Anyway. She is doing well. Putting on weight. Ribs no longer sticking out. Getting chiller and not resource guarding so much, though she still barks if the cats get too close while she is eating. 

She is also, it seems, pregnant. 

Oh gods oh gods I’m not ready to be a grandma I’ve been cramming on how to care for a mother dog and puppies all day I called the vet in a panic Tyr I’m only 34 I was not expecting to be a grandmother I just bought $150 worth of supplements and supplies for a whelping box and books

I just know im going to lose Blue and probably Greenie soon. Blue is acting hyper and energetic but she has a lot of pressure in her abdomen that my vet said is likely caused by cancer or EYP considering their breed and other genetic factors. I always thought Greenie would be the first to go after she got really sick but now i think its going to be Blue and i just have this sinking feeling that Greenie will leave with her soon after because of how bonded they are. The worst thing about production Leghorns is their short lifespan. Right now they both are fine but i know the signs. Maybe i will have another year with them.

#It sucks because if it was fluid it could be drained and give a bit more time #its like I could maybe get a bunch of money and have the vet remove the oviduct but i havent seen that really lengthen #a production leghorns lifespan if she has other issues #and i dont want to put them through that kind of surgery and recovery

she is very old and still a nervous wreck lol

her wretched old organs can't deal with almost any foreign substances anymore, which is especially cool now that she once again needs some surgery but cannot tolerate anti-inflammatory pain medication at all so her post-operative pain relief is either basically nothing or, like, fentanyl. looking forward to that
