Venti from Genshin Impact as an azata bralani from Pathfinder :3 Here I probably need to explain. Azatas are chaotic-good celestials who above all value friendship and freedom. So, roughly speaking, angels but fun. Bralanis are azata race who are… a wind? Well, they have two forms: one of them is the wind, and another one is a fey-elven looking humanoid. They are skilled warriors, often wielding a bow.

Venti is 1) a god of freedom, 2) rules over the wind element, 3) an archer, 4) a bard! Also he literally has a title “Poet of the Winds”. And 5) He has the character of an azata. Freedom-loving, friendly, cheerful, creative… He’s an azata, I insist)

Venti spun around on his chair, playing around with the pen in his hand. Their manager—Jean—had called in, telling them that they should come in for some last minute practice as they were going to be on tour the next week. They were supposed to be excused by now, but their manager was approached by a graphic designer with the alias Calx, offering to work with them. It’s been four hours.

Venti shoots a glance at Aether who shook his head with his brows furrowed.

“Hey, can anyone do a coffee run?” Venti asks.

“I’ll do it—” Xiao said as he placed down his bass.

“Oh, would you now?” Venti stops spinning in his chair, facing Xiao with a mischievous grin.

“—But you’re paying—wait what?” Both their words went over each other, but still, Venti stands up with his hands on his hips, fighting the urge to giggle. 

“Oh my gods…” Aether hung his head, his hands on his face.

“Xiaoo, my old buddy, ol’ pal—”

“No. You’re paying.”

“Worth a shot,” Venti shrugs, “but that wasn’t what I was trying to say.”

“Do you want coffee or not?” Xiao says irritably.

“Do you want coffee or not?”

“What?”

“Yeah, that came out bad.” Venti clears his throat, “What I’m trying to say is you’re the last person I’d expect to agree on a coffee run. You did it last time. And last time you took over thirty minutes.”

Venti sighs, “Walking the extra block to Angel's Share when Cat’s tail is right across the street?”

“Cat’s tail is a tavern.” Xiao says.

"So is Angel's Share." Venti coughs, “and Cat's tail, they serve coffee.” Venti coughs again.

“I just prefer the coffee there.”

“Or you prefer the … barista… there… I don’t know where I was going with that one but the point is—” Venti trails off, "Are you sure it's not because of them, hm?"

Xiao stiffens at Venti's words, "No... No, it isn't"

"Really?"

"Yes."

"But I haven't even said who."

Xiao looks at Venti menacingly, looking as if he's done with whatever shit he's trying to pull; and believe me, he is. Xiao stays silent after Venti's last statement.

Venti tsks "But, hmm, as I've done my research, it's the afternoon! And who takes the afternoon shift at Angel's Share? Why, it's the one, the only—"

Xiao groans, “Stop pushing it. Fine. Yes. Gods…”

“Aha! I knew it!”

“Heizou was the one who knew it first. . .” Aether deadpans.

Heizou claps enthusiastically, “No, that was great. Loved that for you Xiao. Woohoo!”

“Everyone knows?” Xiao asks, almost embarrassingly.

“It was painfully obvious, yes.” Venti laughs.

“Painfully obvious for Heizou—”

“Okay, Geez!” Venti hears the door open, “And where are you going?”

“Getting coffee. I’m paying this time. Venti gets nothing.” Xiao said, holding the door frame.

“Don’t take another thirty minutes!”

Xiao glared daggers at Venti who raised his hands in the air, murmuring a that’s fair.
