Review: I really liked the spin that they put on this otherwise pretty standard storyline. Seeing the same thing from different points of view, and seeing what different things everyone saw was interesting and made it very satisfying when the whole thing came together.
At the time this came out, Matthew Fox was a huge star because of LOST, and because of that I think casting him in the role of the betrayer was a bad idea. He was in the beginning part of the movie, and then all of a sudden he disappears for a long period of time, and I immediately wondered what was up, and if their was going to be some sort of twist to the story.
Their wasn’t a whole lot of character development in the story either, but with this type of movie it’s hard to have anything like that because your not telling the story from one or two people, your telling it from 8-10 people, so I don’t see it as a disadvantage this movie has.
I was throughly entertained, and the movie was stupid long. It told the story it wanted to, the way it wanted to, and it worked.
