“Reader, where were you? Rayleigh questions as he sees his grandchild coming into the bar on top of Millo, their usual Smiledon Companion covered in dirt and grass, his wife in front of him preparing drinks, glancing at the child questioningly

“Outside!”

Rayleigh smiled softly as he approached the child, kneeling down slightly to meet them. Grabbing them from the large feline and putting them on their hip

“What were you doing outside?”

“Causing trouble, I bet?” pipes in Shakky

“We were exploring.”

“Mm, of course,” Rayleigh raises his brow at his wife, who nods along knowingly.

“Exploring, eh?” The white-haired man asks with a sly smirk

“Where were you exploring?”

They stay silent, playing with their grandfathers hair, trying to evade their gaze as they shrug

“Hm,” Rayleigh muttered

He then raises his eyebrows.

“You think I'm going to get mad?” his voice was light yet stern

“Yeah,” they say, hiding their face into their neck and continuing to play with his hair

Rayleigh chuckles, rubbing their head with one hand as he speaks to them.

“Well, I'm not...I know how it is. Being young and curious.”

“But you should never go off without telling someone where you're going.."

“But I went with Millo!” They exclaim, pulling their head out and gesturing at the large feline

“I mean a proper person,” Rayleigh chuckles,

“Millo, doesn’t count”

The toothed cat lets out a small indignant yowl at his comment, Reader reacting similarly with an offended gasp

Rayleigh scoffed at the cat's reaction, finding it amusing.

“There, there, Millo, you'll live.” Shakky Laughs.

“You're lucky you're adorable, isn't that right?” he said, looking at the cat.

“You're being mean to Millo Grandpa!”

“Now, Now both of you know I didn’t mean it like that,” Rayleigh says with a frown,

“but you need to understand it makes your gramps and gran worry, alright? You're our treasure, you know?”

Shakky smiles, opening her arms for Rayleigh to pass them to her, he smiles obliging her silent request

“Come here” she says taking a hold of them

“We’re not mad, As we said, you are really important, and we simply worry, there are dangerous and gross people not far from here.”

“I just wanted to explore a little, but I didn’t mean to go far. “

Rayleigh scoffs and pulls the child into his arms, planting several kisses upon their cheek,

“It's fine... Just let me know next time where you are exploring; I know you're more than capable on your own, but still, I'd like to have an idea of where to look for you."

“Oke”

“Now that we got that out of the way, what were you doing that got you covered in dirt?”

They shuffle in their grandmother's arms, digging something from their small backpack

“I was getting you guys flowers!” They exclaim, pulling said plants out and handing two roughly arrays of flowers

Rayleigh’s face breaks out into a smile,

“For Us, you brought us flowers?”

They nod excitedly handing them the mix-match bouquet of flowers

The elderly couple exchange a look before embracing the child, who is now buried within the confines of their affection.

As the first chenle stan (top delulu gf right here), he is definitely a physical touch and words of affirmation girly.

He’s come home finally after so long while being on tour and doing promotions and such for ISTJ, it’s like you haven’t seen him in forever. You’ve had probably the worst day ever where your hair didn’t look right, you couldn’t do this or that right, and most of all you’re not with Chenle.

Right after everything was done he wanted to surprise you by just showing up to your (and his) apartment.

“Y/N? Baby? We’re home!” He calls out, holding Daegal in one hand and his bag over his shoulder.

Chenle’s surprised when he doesn’t see you in the kitchen, usually you’re eating or making your food this late. He looks around the living room also seeing your not in that room either. Finally putting down Daegal telling her to ‘go find your mommy/mummy’

Not even a few seconds later she’s running to your bathroom door, scratching and whining. Even rubbing her head against the door before running back to Chenle, yipping and whining once again to the door. Obviously he takes the hint and knocks on the door.

“Are you in there? Daegal and I are back, she missed you. After our calls she would start whining….” You can hear his smile in his voice, “I missed you too you know, even if you are annoying.” Of course he would find a way to say something like that. It makes you crack the faintest smile. You really missed him.

“Hey baby? Can I-?”

You open the door for him before he can even finish his sentence. Daegal is in his arms and he’s smiling at you, jokingly shaking her paw and mocking what’s supposed to be her voice ‘hiiii mom, I missed you soooo much’ .

If he wasn’t your boyfriend and if you were in a better mood you probably would’ve joked about it. Saying something about how stupid he was or even pushing him away. Instead you settle for pulling her into your own arms petting and hugging her and placing her right beside you on the floor.

As soon as she’s put on the floor Chenle pulls you into the biggest hug ever. He doesn’t even need to be told you’re not feeling very well. He says that you’re easy to read, in reality he pays attention extremely well.

“You’re okay, I promise. Whatever you’ve been thinking I need you to stop for a second and rethink.” His arms pull you even closer to himself, and they start moving up and down your back. Tears start to well in your eyes and you realize just how much he means to you.

Eventually he pulls you back so he can see your face, even bringing his hands to your arms holding them there letting his thumbs rub your arms.

“I love you,” He kisses your forehead.

“I love you,” He kisses your nose.

“I love you so so much,” And he ends with pulling you into a kiss. When he finally pulls away he brings you once again into a tight embrace.

You’re not all of a sudden happy and healed, but you sure do feel better with him by your side.

“…Now why did our child get a hug before me.”

"yeah! yeah right...i knew that....obviously....whatever, lets go get that cleaned up yeah?" he said, obviously trying to change the subject. you giggled again and got up to follow him out of the gym.

"hey elliot?"

"..yeah?" he turned to you

you stood up a little bit taller to place a kiss on his cheek. stepping back you take in the shocked look on his face

"thats for helping me, and if you really wanna kiss me, wait till im not a bloody mess, yeah?" you grinned at him.

he groaned, turning around to walk out, but you knew he wanted you to follow him.

"i hope you realize what you do to me." he says to you with a grin. "but i will take you up on that...if its okay" hes still unsure. you take that as a sign to slip your hand into his.

"if it wasnt okay, i wouldnt be letting you waste your time on something like a bloody nose yknow" you laughed lightly, hoping to ease both yours and his nerves.

"cant have you like, bleeding out to death." he remarks, keeping his hand in yours. you laugh at his comment.

"wouldnt wanna let me die without that kiss huh?"

he groans again, but you dont miss the shy smile on his face.

i mentioned a while ago making a rotai au but i haven’t read rotai in like forever and the idea is still half baked so i’m just gonna throw out everything i have so far and either come up with more ideas bit by bit or take suggestions if u guys have any !! sorry for inactivity in the mc/mcd community btw social anxiety’s been beating my ass lmao

SO. au time. everything in the very beginning of the book is the same, but when archie gets to the top of that weird mountain and finds the orb he’s like “oh those are terrible vibes no thanks” and just Leaves (once the spiders are gone ofc). yes i did just make up this whole au bc i thought it would be funny how can u tell. anyways, no longer having a tribe, he just kinda runs off into the woods and does his own thing. we love a foraging king. also strong independent archie supremacy (i’ve always headcanoned him as an adult and a pretty competent one at that, just wanna play around w/ the idea of him being left alone for once). does he have funky animal friends? what weapons does he use? has he figured out agriculture? who knows! certainly not i

someone else gets the orb. is it thord, is a walda, is it goddamn karl, i have no idea. either way bad things happen and must be stopped but archie doesn’t really care he’s just chilling

at some point this random hero comes across him and, being the weirdo she is, is like “oh look. a lone illager. youre my friend now :)”. if anyone remembers me posting violet in the discord server this is her BUT i wanna change her name bc there’s already a lot of cool canon and fanon characters w/ v names and i don’t wanna like. copy anyone lmao. anyways she’s like “surely u have to be lonely out here :(“ and he’s like “no actually i’m pretty alright” and she’s like “nah. we’re leaving :)” and that’s that. he does go back to his weird little treehouse or whatever eventually i just like the idea of him getting dragged around against his will to help fight against evil or whatever LMAO. definitely the most helpful of the protags here in terms of combat skills (again. competent archie supremacy. they never said he was bad at fighting he just didn’t like it), but the whole time he’s just like “yes i am going to teach you how to use a sword and yes i am going to hate every second of it. die” (they are besties)

third protag is yumi bc i like her. hero drags archie to the closest village she can find, archie nearly gets sent into the stratosphere by an iron golem, and yumi comes out like “sorry broski my bad lol”. somehow she ends up agreeing to help them idk why i haven’t thought abt it that much (she is insanely difficult for me to write i still do not even have a consistent design for her). “isn’t violence against, like, villager code or whatever?” “well, technically, I’M not the one doing the violence-” *gestures vaguely to army of iron golems*

anyways that’s pretty much it. world’s bravest villager, illager who Does Not Want To Be Here, and a hero who has no clue what she’s doing, bless her soul

if anyone has suggestions lemme know lol. also i wanna make it more fantasy-ish bc i love fantasy so dw abt sticking to canon worldbuilding. this is all for funsies i have zero prior storytelling experience lmao

HIIII!!! my fic is totally my dump for spider related headcanons but here are a couple off the top of my head!

- spider saw mellori as a child not knowing she was the daughter of raven. one way or another thru prophecy or vision or just showing up thru somebody else (#posession)...i have a sillier differenter fic abt this interpretation of his mirage battle dialogue but its very sweet to think about hahahaha.

- ive always had underdeveloped thoughts abt how spider sees spiral peoples, especially as some of them (such as aztecans) descend directly from first world peoples rather than having been created theoretically after the titan war. but somehow spider's attitude (if he is to be believed) toward the yw i think indicates smth abt how he sees mortals in the spiral. he talks a lot of shop about how he doesn't care for any of the spiral or its peoples because his ex made it, that they're all weak or fodder but he is still grateful for what the yw had done for him even if it were prophesized. even if it were essentially "fate" at that point - spider recognizes that even if the yws actions to help him were done under coercion (from himself or others) they were still kind actions to him - they made him say that the yw was "one of their favorite things the spiral made" bc of that act. you wouldn't necessarily tell that to somebody you regard as a puppet that was bound to do those things anyway. (ofc he could've been sweet talking us but i choose the belief that theres part truth in it-) TLDR: spider ascribes a very interesting free will to certain spiral beings despite manipulating their fates massively over the years -- and i think that indicates more of a kind opinion toward the spiral than he lets on.

- my funniest spider hc is that he loves knitting and like fabric-related arts because he's good at it and better than raven. you just know the motherfucker is making sweaters in the husk

- his blood contains the purest form of shadow magic. a reason among other things that the chaos heart is one of the most powerful shadow artefacts in the spiral. theoretically other body parts of his are up there as well in terms of power. but luckily for him they arent removable.... as far as we know

- another reason why spider is fond of the yw is because spider himself was essentially the first wizard/first teacher of wizards - bartleby doesn't betray either witchiness or wizardry honestly i think "druid" is a legitimate camp to be in and bartleby is there -- raven is overtly witchy -- i think spider is in his own way incredibly wizard-y and mage-like. i always like to think he gave nuggets of his knowledge to the spider mages and guided their studies for a time...and the reason why people dont speak abt wizardrys root in spider is bc of raven's casting of him as ultimate evil in spiral mythologies. the role of guide to wizards is given rather ambiguously to bartleby instead...

- this hc is silly but. the divinities eat azoth. spider subsisted on that shit even in the black hole. idc that immortals don't need to eat i think it'd be funny if they ate azoth. consume ancient magics my boy

- tho raven and apider settled down in the husk, they still watch the yw but dont say nothin. spider COULD step in and narrate but why would he. all of arc 4 is so literally not his business at all ur on ur own wizard. however spider gossips about the yws goings on in lieu of being helpful literally at all.

- spiders favorite non-shadow schools of magic r storm and myth bc they're the most chaotic ::::)

- spider isn't taking to divorce therapy very well at all. 💋

- he’s so chaotic and stupid and i relate to him so much, definitely one of my favourite comfort characters

2. andy dwyer (parks and recreation)

- also chaotic and stupid, i just think he’s funny and adorable, just generally wholesome, another favourite comfort character

3. loki laufeyson (marvel cinematic universe)

- he’s on that absolute king shit!!! chaotic, funny, badass, has magic and can be scary (which is a slay). the fact that he’s queer is a major plus too

4. scott lang (marvel cinematic universe)

- just a goofy lil guy with so much love in his heart. another amazing and wholesome comfort character

5. merlin + arthur pendragon (bbc merlin)

- 2 for 1 cause they’re best together. i read merthur fics everyday and while i know fics aren’t accurate to their actual character/canon, they have one of the best dynamics ive ever seen

6. adelina amouteru (the young elites trilogy by marie lu)

- been ages since i read this but adelina is such a cool character. if i had powers, id want to have hers (or flying, that’d be great). actually went as adelina for halloween once. 10000/10 recommend the young elites

7. lena luthor / morgana pendragon (supergirl / bbc merlin)

- another 2 for 1. i watched merlin because i saw katie mcgrath in supergirl and now i read merthur everyday. both lena and morgana’s journeys are beautiful imo. lena from light to dark back to light. morgana’s from light to dark when it was so preventable. perfect characters for a perfect actress

8. nick nelson (heartstopper tv)

- i related to his s1 storyline quite a bit but overall he’s just such a loving character. sometimes when i see him on screen, i think he’s gonna explode with how much he loves charlie, his mom, nellie. reblog if u also need a nick nelson hug LOL

9. mirabella (three dark crowns series by kendare blake)

- one of my favourite book series and my favourite mc!! like seriously guys look up this series, the original plot is so cool and there’s some plot twists that made my jaw drop - my sister rating goes mirabella, katharine, arsinoe btw hehe

Can I just say something though? I love Taylor, I really do. I've been in her top 0.2% of spotify listener thingy, I've been listening to her ever since I was eight. But all this drama at some point is too much, even if that makes me a bad fan. I can't exactly support someone without knowing all of the information right. And as you mentioned Matty has constantly made racist homophobic xenophobic jokes. So being friends and or whatever does makes me a little uncomfortable, although obviously it's Taylor's opinion and free will to do whatever you want. Btw, same with Phoebe Bridgers. You kind of expect better. I am kind of getting over of getting all involved and alert about celebrity drama, in fact, I used to listen to the 1975 too, very much, very often. At this point, all I'd like to do is try to increase my life expectancy by taking care of myself lol.

well, first is the obvious !! prisoner number nine, mikoto .. his whole character just. sucks. for reasons that have already been said many times, and i dont think i could bring anything new or meaningful to that table. but. his character is just harmful n sucks !! n, ofc, i dont have did but its clear it sucks . begone, prisoner number nine

other than that,, all the other icky things about it could be like . explained that theyre that way to keep the audience on their toes or something like that. like, they could all be explained with symbolism - like prisoner number two, yuno's murder(s) being abortions. which, theyre heavily considered murders by lots of people, so its like. could just be the. the. man my heads empty rn. but, milgram has a lot of 'your comments affect the characters a lot your words can affect them' stuff, yea? so, it could just be that because its considered murders . like, sure, its a bit icky, but it cn be explained with symbolism. i do think yuno is cool tho i like her:3 has bg vibes sorry to say. and, also, mahiru and kazui consider their 'murders' murders, even tho i'd dare to argue neither of them actually killed anyone. mahiru was in a codependent relationship and just couldnt save her bf. thats nothing to blame her for.

I don't know why, but I just got a gut feeling that Clover and Bakugo would make a good couple. I don't even fully understand it myself it just came to me instantly when I saw this ask my brain was like yep Bakugo.

The mor I thought about it the more the idea grew on me. They are that sunshine and raincloud trope and for some reason it works. Bakugo is just like I hate everyone and everything...except you. He won't admit it but if anything happened to her, he would kill everyone and then himself.

He doesn't understand why, but Clover just makes him feel all soft and warm and not hella pissed off for once. She's like a small kitten or puppy that just looks so soft, and he wants to cuddle it so bad because even Bakugo can't hate kittens/puppies.

The day he met Clover she had just kinda been dragged into the Bakugo squad by Denki and Kirishima and he just couldn't say no because 1. It's those two even if he said no they would do what they wanted anyway and 2. he thought she was super cute ok.

Ever since that day he basically became her guard dog and anyone who tries to mess with her or take advantage of her would have to deal with King Lord Explosion Murder!!! (DIEEEEEEEE *BOOM*) even though he knows and acknowledges the fact that she can absolutely protect herself.

Bakugo also has a tendency to swear less and be less violent around Clover. He doesn't want to scare her off (although if you asked him about it, he would just deny it and call you a dumba$$). Especially when they are alone, he is an overall much gentler person when she's there.

If Clover is struggling with any of her classes Bakugo will over to tutor her (although he'll pretend, he doesn't want to like the true tsundere he is). Now Bakugo isn't the most patient person even with Clover, but he will try his absolute hardest to stay calm while helping her even if her ADHD is acting up more that day. He will also make sure to explain it in a way she can really understand and grasp before moving to the next subject or problem. (This isn't a stereotype jab at adhd btw I just thought tutor Bakugo was a cute idea plz dnt hate me)

I feel like once they got together Clover and Bakugo would take a lot of dates outdoors. Hiking, camping, picnics especially picnics we all know Bakugo is basically anime Gordon Ramsey and would make some top tier food.

Lowkey Bakugo really likes to spoil Clover with his cooking especially since he isn't very touchy feely or open with his emotions. She may wanna watch out she may gain a few pounds because man knows how much she likes sweets and will make her a LOOOOOT of them because he can't resist how her face lights up when she's eating them (He doesn't mind the pounds though because it means he's a good cook and more Clover to love so sue him.

Overall, Bakugo and Clover would be opposites attract kind of couple. People would be surprised at how well they get along, and grateful there is someone around to keep Bakugo calm.

not to be dramatic but i remember the first time i saw hakuno so well..... i was scrolling thru instagram when i saw this fanart of sir gilbert gamesh with her (too lazy to search it up rn but it was him whispering sth to her and her laughing!) and no joke, my first thought was who is this mysmes mc looking girl- I WANT TO PUNCH MY PAST SELF SO HARD FOR THINKING THAT BTW. i had vvv limited of fate at the time and only watched the fate/zero anime but i knew gilgamesh is a hard person to get along with (putting it lightly) so i got intrigued at that point. i literally just looked thru her wiki tho ngl. it was when i read a transcript(?) of the fate/extra here and that's when i fell in so deep!!! literally read it all in one go aND BOYYYYY THE FRIKKIN ENDING MAN, THE ENDING!!!!! WHY DONT PPL TALK ABT IT MORE IT LEFT SUCH AN IMPRESSION ON MEEE I WAS IN SHAMBLES 😭😭 i wasn't even playing on getting into ccc but i was in Desperate Need of more hakuno content so.. i read it all the next day. and i loved it!! idk if i was full on Hakuno Luvr at that moment tho, but i liked her a lot 🥺 started actively looking for fanart and even read some fanfic of her too VSJFBSJFJJ (i proceed 2 realize that this is a hella long ramble that does not answer ur q) HMM I DON'T THINK THERE WAS A SPECIFIC MOMENT THAT WAS MY HAKUNO SIMP REALIZATION THO... i fell in love over time <3

her heart 🥺 which you can really see in my portrayal, i hope!! her interactions with julius is one of my fav things in fate extra Ever, especially when the arena was all messed up and it was pretty much fuuuull of julius's hatred for hakuno but hakuno still kept going on and even tried to understand julius in spite of that!! i love how hakuno literally lost consciousness (even her servant got super worried!! it was That serious!!) just by being there but when she regains her consciousness, all she could focus on was julius's memory she'd just seen and how he seemed to be suffering. and then how the whole time she was just concerned abt julius.... says so much abt her character imo and i love it lots!!! really like how hakuno has been shown time and time again to knowingly risk herself for someone else's benefit and how a huuge thing in extra is always hakuno discovering those very compassionate and human values even when she starts out all hollow and empty :,)

the way she treats others and the morals and values she learns hits soo deep to me and personally really makes me feel some kinda way.. (a good way!) something something she was in a cruel and vicious environment and found out that her entire existence doesn't matter but still has a heart that's big enough to think of others and choose to hold onto kindness to the very end..... 😭😭❤️ veeery interesting too, because it's almost like a parallel to twice, who hakuno could've very much become if she didn't have a heart like hers! (that's a whole nother topic thooo <3) i feel like this trait of hers is soooo important, i really wish ppl noticed it more, it really sucks to not really see much (if not any) of it in extella </3 it's what makes her bonds and connections so realistic and unique imo, and that's my fav thing abt fate extra ;_; it's vvvv natural and not plot-contrived at all, really feels like two individuals developing a genuine bond. ofc it's not Just this character trait that makes me love hakuno...... there is sm to love abt her!!! there are many many little things that make hakuno hakuno that make me luvs her ❤️
