✭ QUOTEV VERSION
✭ HUSBAND MASTERLIST
✭ CHAPTER THREE : The Storm
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tension filled the air as Bella confronted the newfound presence of (Y/n) in Edward's life. She blinked in disbelief, her voice quivering as she stammered, "My love? Since when did this happen?"
Edward, sensing the impending storm, attempted to walk away with (Y/n) and even gestured for her to go inside. But (Y/n) was resolute and didn't budge. She glared at Bella, her voice dripping with ice, as she asked, "Who are you?"
Bella retorted, her tone growing defensive, "I'm Edward's girlfriend, and who are you?"
(Y/n) didn't waste a moment, showing off her ring with a fiery glare. "I'm his wife."
Bella's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. The words hung heavily in the air, and she was momentarily at a loss for words. She looked to Edward for help, but he maintained a blank expression.
Sensing Bella's vulnerability, (Y/n) couldn't contain her anger any longer. She stepped forward, poking Bella's chest with each word, her voice seething with righteous fury. "You've got some nerve showing your face around here. You made your grave; now lay in it."
Without waiting for a response, (Y/n) turned away from Bella and walked over to her husband, Edward. She looked deep into his eyes, her love and passion evident, and then, she pulled him into a long, passionate kiss. It was a declaration of their bond and a clear message to Bella that she was no longer a part of Edward's life. Bella watched them with a mixture of jealousy and regret, realizing that she had lost Edward. But she wasn’t one to give up easily. With a huff she yanks over her car door looking back at the couple, “I’ll be back later Edward,” and with a slam of the door she pulls out of the Cullen’s drive way.
Emmett the ever so innocent “viewer” in all this snorts, “Women am I right?!”
Inside the house, (Y/n) had stormed in, seething with anger and frustration. She couldn't believe that Bella had shown up and disrupted the peace she and Edward had found together. She muttered to herself, unaware of the growing intensity of her emotions.
"How could that wench come here and think all would be fine and dandy?" (Y/n) ranted, her voice filled with exasperation.
Unbeknownst to her, the lights in the house began to flicker erratically. The others in the room exchanged puzzled glances, noticing the unusual phenomenon. Emmett, always one to comment on such things, blurted out, "Yo, what's up with the lights?"
Edward, realizing that it was (Y/n)'s powers reacting to her emotional turmoil, excused himself and made his way to where she was venting her frustrations. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and whispered soothing words, "Love, it's going to be okay. Please, try to calm down. Your powers are reacting to your emotions."
(Y/n) took a deep breath, her anger gradually subsiding as she focused on Edward's calming presence. The lights in the house gradually steadied, no longer flickering. She turned to him, her eyes filled with remorse for causing such a disturbance.
Edward reassured her, "It's alright, my love. We'll figure this out together. Bella is no longer a part of my life, and you are the one I choose to be with. I love you."
(Y/n) nodded, her anger giving way to a sense of relief and the warmth of Edward's love. They held each other close, finding solace in their bond, and slowly the tension in the house began to dissipate.
As Edward held (Y/n) close against his chest, her anger continued to simmer. She mumbled softly, her voice filled with frustration, "I just don't like it. How can she come back here thinking she would be welcomed with open arms? After hurting you? After unknowingly hurting your family?"
Edward kissed her forehead gently, trying to offer reassurance. "It's okay, my love. We'll work through this."
But (Y/n) couldn't contain her anger any longer. Her emotions surged, and as she shouted in frustration, a light bulb above them suddenly burst, scattering glass fragments on the floor.
Startled by the sudden noise, Alice, who had been observing the situation from the doorway, took a step back. She glanced at the shattered light bulb and then at the two of them, her eyes wide with surprise. With an uncertain smile, she said, "I'll just come back later," and quickly walked away, leaving Edward and (Y/n) alone to deal with the aftermath of this emotional exchange.
As (Y/n) pulled back from their embrace, her guilt about scaring Alice was evident in her eyes. She whispered, "Oh no, I scared Alice. I have to go apologize."
Edward gently placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "No, what you need to do is calm down, love. Alice will be fine. She's a vampire, remember?"
(Y/n) wasn't easily consoled. She replied, "That doesn't mean I didn't frighten her, supernatural being or not."
Edward couldn't help but chuckle, his laughter resonating in the room. "That's what I love about you, my dear."
(Y/n) playfully smacked his shoulder, her worry still evident. "This isn't a laughing matter, Edward. I used my powers unconsciously, and look, I even broke that poor, innocent light bulb."
Edward continued to chuckle, the sound of his laughter filling the room. "You're right, love, but it's just a light bulb. We can replace it. Besides, I’m sure Alice will understand.”
(Y/n) sighed, unable to resist a smile at her husband's laughter and reassurance. She realized that even in moments of turmoil, his presence had a way of calming her, and she felt grateful for the love they shared.

Let the sunshine... let the sunshine in...
This was the song that was blasting in your ears almost every day in your little rainy town. You lived there all your life, and you were almost sure you could bet how many sunny days would occur during the whole year. 'Cause your life here in Forks was this predictable.
The same roads, the same weather, the same days, the same people... Never anything you knew, no sign of new blood in sight. And in a quite ironic way, you were right about that.
A shy ray of sun is trying to shine through the clouds to reach you, in particular at the hospital. What would normally be an uneventful checkup turned out to be much more interesting.
Your mother was complaining about the waiting time, as usual, since Forks's medical staff was always vacant. You sat on top of the table, bored, when a doctor finally came in.
"Sorry for the wait, but don't worry, there's someone coming soon to help us!" She explained that she was obviously ecstatic and needed to share that information with every patient.
That's got your attention. "Someone ?" You inquired as she pressed the stethoscope to your chest, your cold-sensitive skin shivering.
"Oh yes, a very talented doctor is moving to Forks with his family." She smiled brightly, and you mirrored her smile, excited by the news. "We are extremely lucky."
You spent all the time waiting for those 'Cullens'; you kept wishing the doctor's kids wouldn't be toddlers but high schoolers like you. You were in your senior year, and you were so thrilled that you would finally get the chance to experience something new before going off to college.
Obviously, the whole town was bubbling with excitement, except for the reservation's kids, who, for some reason, you spotted less and less. Finally, the Cullens had arrived in Forks, and thankfully, they were indeed high schoolers. However, they were younger than you since they were only in the ninth grade.
Which you instantly thought was the dumbest lie ever. None of them looked like they were fifteen; they were far from that. They were so tall—well,  most of them—and their features were so defined that there was not a speck of childhood left on their faces.
It wasn't the only thing that intrigued you. Yes, you weren't repealed, just fascinated. They were all so pale, but again, so were you from the lack of sun. And the way they moved, how they acted... One especially caught all your attention.
You noticed her a week after she arrived. Alice was her name. You and your friends were making your way through the cafeteria when you felt... observed. As you rubbed the back of your neck, you turned around to watch the furthest table, near the windows.
Two big, seemingly golden eyes were staring right at you. Her hair was deep black, cut short, and messily pointing in every direction. She was incredibly thin, her beautiful white hands proving your thoughts as her chin rested gracefully on them. You blushed when you realized how sweet her smile was. It actually widened once you finally paid attention to her, her eyes sparkling.
She was so petite too—4'10 tops. You didn't even consider yourself a tall person, but compared to her, you almost felt too big. And so gawky, too. Alice was the definition of grace, like a fantasic little fairy. Self-conscious, you quickly averted your gaze and focused instead on the display of food.
With a deep breath, you reached to pick up a tangerine when you suddenly felt a presence right next to you.
"Hello !" A cheerful voice greeted you, earning you a loud gasp and dropping the fruit in the meantime. But Alice caught it mid-air and chuckled. "A pixie tangerine ?"
She handed it to you, and you meekly took it. "It's rich in vitamins." You murmured, not meeting her eyes. Your blush darkened when she laughed again.
"I guess you do need a good substitute for the sun, huh ?" She smiled at you reassuringly. You chuckled nervously, though tension was slowly leaving your body.
"Yeah, that's for sure." You chuckked and observed her some more and felt her energy, which was so refreshing. She was like a ray of the sun herself.
From that day on, you two spent all your time together.
Alice took you shopping at incredibly expensive boutiques, and though you kept insisting on going to thrift shops, she never listened to you. Sometimes she even offered to pay for you, and every time it nearly gave you a heart attack. Alice was dragged to insane parties, ones you could only dream of intending, and you always wondered how someone so young could already have such an active life.
You have so many memories with her, finding joy in what always felt so mondane. The times she stood in between your legs to do your makeup, so close but always using the excuse of bad eye sight when you knew she could spot a sparrow hidden in its tree. But you weren't one to complain, especially when you had the opportunity to stare at her face without looking creepy.
You noticed how much she loved to sing, despite singing way more than was necessary. So, you drove her into town, and you two spent nights singing your hearts out. God, was she physical too ! Always hugging you, interlacing her arm with yours, caressing your hair and cheeks, and holding your hand. And despite how many times it happens, you always end up a blushing mess.
Her siblings didn't seem that enthusiastic about it all. But over time, you slowly made your way through their minds and gained their affection. Especially Edward's, and it saddened you to see him so lonely, even if you couldn't grasp the whole truth.
Your friends—no,  actually, your whole class—were extremely curious about the Cullens, so you were their only source of information. But you cherished your relationship with her too much to share what you had with everyone.
Of course, you were catching feelings for her. How could you not? She was so lively, caring, interesting, and beautiful. And, in a way that made your chest swell with hope, you two never put a label on your relationship. Every time Alice introduced you to anyone, mostly her family, she never called you a 'friend'. No, something that made your heart miss a beat...
"Carlisle ! Here she is, the girl I've been telling you so much about !" Alice chirped and skipped toward her father while holding your hand. She dragged you in front of her, holding your shoulders. "My Y/N !" She smiled proudly.
You were so baffled by the very idea of meeting her parents, and your dear friend was really not helping. But the doctor didn't seem to mind and grinned.
"Hello, Y/N, it's nice to finally meet you and get your real name." He jocked, and you shot him a questioning look. "I just assumed 'angel' or 'little cutie wasn't your real name." He smirked but kept a caring expression.
You gasped loudly and turned absolutely crimson toward the black-haired. "No way, Alice!" You yelled and hid your face in your hands.
"Whaaat ? It's true!" She crooned at you lightheartedly, already walking away. You rushed after her and grabbed onto her worringly cold arm.
"That's not the problem, and you know it!" You mewled, embarrassed out of your mind.
You were so fond of that memory, hence why you were smiling like a moron. Catching feelings ? Yeah, right. You fell in love with her head first, which is what you did. But in spite of your heart, a feeling kept pulling at your gut, murmuring to you that something was off.
And it's true, you did notice some odd behaviors coming from her. Not too freaky, but still queer enough to catch your attention. Some days, where it was supposed to be a simple cloudy sky, Alice would be bringing you a large umbrella. So thanks to her, you were one of the few who stayed dry that day. Plus, she would tell you exactly what subject to study with uncanny precision. And how every time you had your period, she knew it before, even before yourself, and she was ready right away to pamper you into oblivion.
What about her impressive speed, her cold skin, her ever-changing eyes? But again, you were not used to a lot of things, so maybe it was just something she did.
You trusted her so much; surely if anything was truly wrong, you would have seen it coming, right ?
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
One faithful day, well, one dumb day, you decided to follow Alice in her monthly walk through the forest. She never forbade you from coming; she just never mentioned it to you. How did you hear about it then? Well, you overheard your common teacher saying that even if the Cullens sometimes didn't come to school, they were still the best in the class.
You noticed it, of course, but hearing from someone else activated your curiosity, and you were dead set on finding out what the hell she was doing. Even if it sounded creepy, you wouldn't hide the fact that you had followed her a couple of times to the forest. But each and every damn time, you lost track of her! Always disappearing rapidly when you try your best to be as steathly as possible.
But you decided that today was going to be the day! And after agonizingly long hours of searching for her, holding your compass for dear life, you finally found her. But you sure didn't expect to find out that too...
The dense forest was illuminated by the soft glow of the spring sun. The rustle of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl filled the air as you cautiously made your way through the trees, calling out for Alice. As you ventured deeper into the woods, you noticed a faint flicker of movement ahead. You approached slowly, your heart pounding with anticipation and concern. What you saw next froze you in your tracks.
In a small clearing bathed in moonlight, Alice kneeled beside a fallen deer, her lips stained crimson as she lean over its neck. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched the short-haired girl drink deeply from the wound. You stood there, frozen in the middle of the forest, staring at your friend covered in blood.
You whispered, eyes wide with shock. "Alice..?"
Alice's head snapped up, her eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light as she turned to face you. You gulped and took an instinctive step back. Blood drips from her chin as she rises to her feet, a mixture of hunger and guilt swirling in her gaze.
"Y/N... I... I can explain." Just wait a minute." She pleaded before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.
You staggered backward when you understood she was trying to control herself. Your mind was reeling with disbelief and fear, and you had to force yourself to stay still. The scene unfolding before you was too much for you to comprehend. Too reel, too sudden, and so, so gruesome. Yet it felt so incredibly ridiculous and surreal.
"Are  you..." You gulped loudly, trying to control your stammer. "You're... you're a vampire ?" Brows furrowed in disbelief at your own words. There was no way...
But, ultimately, Alice nodded slowly, her expression filled with anguish. She never saw you discovering a secret this way. But once again, you showed her how unpredictable you were. She had a general view of your future: meeting her, falling in love with her, and discovering her secret. But any details were robbed, and though it freaked her out, she still saw that in you, finding delight in the way you brought her something new. I like you, in a sense.
A broken cry passed your lips in utter dread, all colors leaving your face while your heart was ready to give. Your friend took a tentative step toward you, her hands outstretched in a gesture of supplication. You whimpered and moved slightly away, your eyes fixed on the blood coloring her lips.
Alice quickly noticed and pleaded once again, wiping the blood away with her sport cloth. "Please Y/N... I didn't want you to find out like this. I never wanted to hurt you."
You felt your fear begin to give way to a surge of conflicting emotions—disbelief, betrayal, and still that flicker of lingering affection. You took another step back, your eyes brimming with tears as you struggled to make sense of it all.
"But.... how long... what ?" You were babbling nonsense while your eyes were frantically looking anywhere but her. "Why didn't you tell me...?"
Alice lowered her gaze, her shoulders slumping with the weight of her confession. She takes a deep breath, searching for your gaze once more, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I wanted to, but... well, I wasn't allowed to. I couldn't." She slowly got closer to you. "I was afraid of losing you... of scaring you away." Her puppy eyes felt different now, even if the red was softly fading away.
Silence hangs heavy between the two of you. You were grappling with the revelation, your mind racing with questions and doubts. Was that the reason she could never hang with you on those rare sunny days ? Why have you spent hours holding her hands in your own hands, trying to warm them up, to no avail? What about the most important thing ?
"Do you... well, do you plan to..." You couldn't finish your sentence; instead, you gestured loosely around your throat.
Alice was now a few feet away and shook her head, a soft smile on her lips. "No, no, never." She brushed the hair out of your face. "Though, you do smell very good."
You didn't know if you were supposed to blush or laugh your heart out, so you did both. The tension was softly fading away, the shivers shaking your body with them, despite the coldness of Alice's skin.
"How old are you then...?" You wondered in a whisper.
She grinned and rocked back and forth on her toes. "How old do you give me ?"
You chuckled and shook your head. "That's unfair.." Alice's hand rested gently on your cheek, and you couldn't lean into it. "Not fifteen, that's for sure."
Her lighthearted laugh filled the forest. "Indeed not." You couldn't help but observe her sparkly eyes and adorable cheekbones. And Alice gave back your loving gaze, which was stronger with time. "Let's just say I've been nineteen for a long time."
Self-conscience came gnawing at you once again, and you looked down. "I must have seen quite a lot of amazing people along the way."
This time, she craddled your face in her hands, tilting your head back up. "Yeah, but the one I was looking forward to meeting the most was you." Though you couldn't understand how true it was, to reduce the red on your cheeks.
The sun was coming out from behind the clouds and through the branches, delicately caressing Alice's pale skin. A soft gasp escaped your lips when you saw her skin glimmering like thousands of diamonds. Amused and softened by your reaction, she leaned and whispered only a few inches from your lips.
"And you are adorable." She didn't give you enough time to dismiss her statement, as she swiftly leaned in and placed a little peck on your lips. Your brain shorted out so much that it didn't even register the slight taste of iron.
"We can take it as slow as you want... After all, who knows what the future holds ?" She jested in a hused tone, her eyes squinting and a tender smile curling along the sides of her lips.
You chuckled and nuzzled at her hands. "As long as you don’t eat, I think it'll be okay." She laughed once again and kissed the tip of your nose.
With your little sunshine by your side, whatever the future had in stock, you were sure it would be bright.

In the cozy Cullen household, a sense of serenity prevailed. The family had welcomed a new member into their fold, (Y/n), a former nomadic vampire who had once struggled with a dangerous addiction to human blood. But since coming under the Cullens' guidance, she had embraced their lifestyle, adopting a diet of animal blood and striving to gain control over her thirst.
Today marked a special day for (Y/n) as she prepared for her first day of school in the small town of Forks. Her siblings, each with their unique approach to waking her up, had agreed to take turns in the morning.
Alice, always the lively one, decided to be the first to rouse her new sister. She entered (Y/n)'s room with a mischievous grin, armed with a portable speaker playing loud pop music. With precision, she positioned it right by (Y/n)'s ear and cranked up the volume.
The blaring music filled the room, reverberating off the walls. Alice watched with eager anticipation, expecting (Y/n) to jolt awake at the sudden noise.
However, much to Alice's surprise, (Y/n) merely mumbled in her sleep, turning away from the source of the noise. Her eyelids remained closed, and she seemed undisturbed by the cacophony.
Alice couldn't help but giggle at (Y/n)'s resilience. It appeared that (Y/n) was not an easy sleeper to wake.
Alice exited (Y/n)'s room, a bemused expression on her face. Her attempt to wake their new sister with loud pop music had failed, leaving (Y/n) in blissful slumber. She reported back to the rest of the Cullen family, who had gathered in the hallway outside the room.
"No luck in waking her up," Alice declared with a huff, her brow furrowed in frustration.
Edward, with his telepathic abilities, chimed in, "I couldn't sense any change in her emotions when you tried to wake her, Alice."
Emmett chuckled, amused by the situation. "Well, this ought to be interesting. Who's next?"
Alice rolled her eyes playfully before suggesting, "Jasper's turn."
Jasper, always calm and composed, entered (Y/n)'s room with a sense of determination. He understood that his unique gift could be used to influence emotions, and he had a plan in mind.
Approaching (Y/n)'s bed, he reached out and gently touched her shoulder, his voice a soothing whisper. "Wake up, (Y/n). It's time to start your day."
(Y/n) stirred at his touch, but her sleep seemed unusually deep. She mumbled something unintelligible and shifted in her bed, still not fully awake.
Jasper didn't give up. He decided to use his gift, channeling feelings of excitement and energy into (Y/n)'s subconscious. It was like giving her a burst of enthusiasm, akin to the zoomies a dog might experience.
As he infused her with this vibrant energy, (Y/n)'s body reacted. She began tossing and turning in her bed, her limbs twitching as if caught in the throes of excitement. Her breathing quickened, and her features contorted into a mix of joy and restlessness.
The rest of the Cullens watched with fascination as (Y/n) remained blissfully asleep, completely oblivious to the energetic turmoil happening within her dreams.
Jasper couldn't help but crack a smile at the sight. It appeared that, even in slumber, (Y/n) was a force to be reckoned with.
After Jasper's attempt to wake (Y/n) ended with her tossing and turning in her sleep, the Cullen siblings couldn't help but be entertained by their new sister's stubborn slumber. Jasper exited her room, shaking their heads.
Jasper smirked and said, "Seems my attempt didn't work. Emmett, it's your turn."
Emmett, always up for a challenge, grinned widely. He stepped into (Y/n)'s room with an air of excitement, ready to try something different. As soon as he spotted her, he couldn't resist the urge to act like a big kid.
Emmett began bouncing on (Y/n)'s bed with the enthusiasm of a child on a trampoline. The mattress squeaked and shifted beneath his weight as he jumped up and down. He called out, "Wake up, sleepyhead! It's a brand new day!"
But all (Y/n) did in response was mumble in her sleep, her brow furrowing slightly as if she were having an unusual dream. Unbeknownst to Emmett, her powers were activated in her sleep, her telekinesis manifesting.
With a sudden burst of power, Emmett was lifted off the bed and sent flying through the air. He let out a surprised shout as he crashed through the bedroom door and slid into the living room, creating a comical scene that left the other Cullens in stitches.
Emmett groaned from his less-than-graceful landing and rubbed his head as he rose to his feet. He looked back at the closed bedroom door, shaking his head.
"Rose, your turn," he grumbled, determined to finally get their new sister out of bed.
Rosalie, determined to wake (Y/n) from her stubborn slumber, entered the room with a plan in mind. She approached the bed and, with her vampire strength, effortlessly lifted it, attempting to tilt it slightly to make (Y/n) lose her balance and fall.
However, as Rosalie exerted her strength on the bed, she quickly realized that (Y/n) was gripping the mattress tightly, refusing to budge. Her brows furrowed in surprise, but before she could react, (Y/n) activated her telekinesis once more.
With a surge of power, the bed was wrenched from Rosalie's grasp, and she was sent flying backward. Emmett, who had been waiting just outside the room, caught Rosalie with ease.
Rosalie looked back at the closed door, her irritation evident. "Tough luck," Emmett teased as he held her.
The other Cullens, who had been watching the spectacle unfold, exchanged glances. Edward, always the logical one, was their last hope. They turned to him with expectant expressions, silently asking if he could use his telepathy to wake (Y/n).
Edward chuckled, shaking his head. "I can't, actually. She puts up a mental block when she's asleep. It's like she's determined to enjoy her beauty rest."
The Cullens sighed collectively, realizing that (Y/n) was indeed a unique challenge when it came to waking her up. Her stubborn slumber was proving to be quite the puzzle, and they couldn't help but be intrigued by their new sister's extraordinary abilities, even in her sleep.
The Cullen family had exhausted their attempts to wake (Y/n) from her deep slumber. With her first day of school looming, it became clear that a more unconventional approach was needed.
Esme, always the nurturing and caring mother figure of the family, spoke up. "Well, we can't just have her miss her first day of school."
Carlisle, the family's patriarch, sighed, knowing what had to be done. "I hope it didn't have to come to this."
He informed the rest of the family of his plan, and with a determined expression, he left the house. Minutes later, he returned with a packet of human blood from his job at the local blood bank.
The Cullens watched with curiosity as Carlisle poured the human blood into a cup, the rich red liquid contrasting starkly with their usual diet of animal blood. They exchanged concerned glances but remained silent.
Carlisle ignored their inquiries and proceeded to (Y/n)'s room. He left the cup of human blood on her nightstand, hoping it would be the key to finally waking her.
Only seconds later, (Y/n) emerged from her room, cup in hand, sipping the human blood. Her eyes were bright and alert, a smile on her face as she greeted her family.
"What a nice wake-up call," she said, her tone cheerful. "But you guys wouldn't believe what I dreamt about."
The Cullens exchanged relieved glances. It seemed that the allure of human blood had successfully roused (Y/n) from her deep slumber, and she was now ready to face her first day of school with her newfound family.
As (Y/n) shared her dream with the Cullens, they couldn't help but be amused by the creative lengths they had gone to in order to wake her. It was just another extraordinary day in the life of their unique family.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The night hung over the festival. The large site near Forks had been set up provisionally. But the lack of comfort did not bother anyone. For everyone it was only important that their favorite band played.
The fans were in a good mood and the musicians were just smashing away. But they got that at the annual several weeks running Forks Music Festival.
The loud music penetrated the ears of the cold creature let him almost go deaf and it almost be too much. But the feeling of feeling the heartbeat of others around him. To somehow feel alive again.
The loud music of the band took him in while he let himself be pushed back and forth in the mosh pit. Always further and further lost in all this and the joy of the music the former human being came back to him.
But even though he felt this need inside of him, this hunger every time he put his hands around the bodies around him for a fraction, it was also the joy that went through him. Finally the festival season was upon us again.
The late summer nights had returned and he and the other creatures could go outside longer at night. Since they went in the summer usually always away in darker areas. But that was now no matter finally he was back here and could not be happier.
Would not there with in the crowd this one smell hanging. Sweetish and yet slightly tart he came to the vampire woke up in him again the sense. Something he could not resist the eyes that became dark black and barely visible in the crowd.
His body that did not move with the same movements as the others moved hungrily towards the bleeding person in the crowd. An elbow had landed on the woman's nose and blood was running from her nose.
Just a small injury in such a large crowd in a mosh pit where people have been injured before. But for the cold creature it was everything. Touching as his finger stretched out to the woman, he suddenly heard two voices in all the crowd.
They seemed familiar to him and yet in his mind the woman's blood seemed all the stronger. He almost had her, would only have to move a little further and then.
But before he could strike, four hands had grabbed him and pulled him out of the crowd at a speed that the people did not notice. ,,Are you still okay? What's gotten into you?" asked Alice who let go of him and the blond Jasper still pressed the common friend of the two against the tree.
He looked at his two beloved ones, saw the worry and something like fear in their eyes.
Although the third of them was newborn and had been for a few weeks, it was still difficult to get used to the new life. ,,Into me? Alice I have lived the moshpit, the music...the people they are good for me" he countered and looked helpfully at Jasper. He had rarely seen their common love Alice so excited, so grown up, so serious.
But Jasper shook his head, his blond curls bobbing, before he said, ,,No, Alice is right, you are dead...you are one of us, a vampire, an undead," before he let him go. Alice sighed even though she didn't have to in her condition.
She closed her eyes for a moment before he intertwined her hand with that of her two lovers. ,,I know it's difficult...that it's all so new and unfamiliar. But you-you are no longer human, my star. You are one of us," she reminded him gently, squeezing his hand lightly. Jasper also gave the other a loving look. The words hit him and yet he knew that they were right. He had chosen the path to be with his two loved ones.
To be with Alice and Jasper. ,,You're right...when I'm ready then...you come with me and we'll go to the mosh pit together" he suggested and saw how the other two agreed Alice seemed to be clearly excited before she said ,,A vampire mosh pit!" she called happily and Jasper couldn't help smiling.
Even if the three vampires had to fight forever with the thirst for blood, there was one thing that would stand against it. The love.
•It’s Cold•
Pairing: Alice x Reader
TW: Light cursing
Y/N: Werewolf reader with they/them pronouns
Word Count: 2147 words
Summary: As you're sitting outside the Cullen entrance waiting to take Bella home after Jake asked you for a favor Alice keeps you company. What'll happen when you start feeling something for one of your biggest enemies?
*For this story vampire's powers can be used on werewolves. Twilight is a weird universe, the Cullen's powers don't seem to work on werewolves but Jane's do? To save us the hassle let's just say they all work*
————————————
Alice POV:
(Graduation party at the Cullen's mansion)
Honestly everything was going amazing. People were having fun, they were dancing, Bella hadn't made a single remark about how much she disliked parties. Well... that's what I thought until I smelled that disgusting musk as I walked down the stair. I knew the werewolves had made their appearance and I knew Bella had invited them but I didn't know they would actually go through with this. A very short time after I could tell the werewolves were here, I had that vision.
————————————
Y/N POV:
"You invited me, remember?" I overheard Jake mention towards Bella. I really had no idea what I was doing tagging along with my brothers stupid antics, but some of us had to make sure he wouldn't burn the Cullen house down because of Bella and break the treaty between vampires and werewolves.
"Was my right hook too subtle for you? That was me uninviting you." the girl with brown hair mentioned to my hardheaded brother. I must admit this girl was weird but as soon as she said that I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, which earned a curse towards me from Jake as he thought it.
"Look Bella I'm sorry, about you know.. the kiss and your hand. I'd blame it on the whole inner animal thing, but it was really just... me, being an ass. I'm really sorry." Jake managed to say as a shitty apology for the possible trauma he put this girl through and I made sure he knew how bad this apology was through my thoughts, which caused Embry and Quil to chuckle next to me.
Jake brushed my stupid comment off and pulled out something out of his pocket to show Bella before saying "I brought you something, a graduation present." He gave her the bracelet with the werewolf pendant and I knew it was my turn to talk.
"I made it myself" I mentioned as I peered over Jake's shoulder to look at Bella. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I had seen her actually smile given the amount of times we've seen each other, maybe twice or three times. It was my first time home in a while after traveling.
"Wow... you made this? It's really pretty, thanks." She mentioned as Jake helped her put the bracelet on. That's when she noticed the short haired vampire girl at the end of the stairs looking puzzled, that's when we noticed her too. It was like as she had seen a ghost.
————————————
(Cullen mansion's balcony)
"They'll be here in four days." The short black haired vampire by the name of Alice mentioned as Carlisle managed to say "this could turn into a blood bath."
Edward, the red haired vampire fighting with my brother for Bella's love and adoration, added "who's behind it?" And Alice soon after that affirmed that she hadn't seen anyone she recognized except for local missing person, Riley Biers. The Cullen vampires started theorizing about who it could possibly be, until the tall long blond haired vampire with the name of Jasper mentioned an army would be coming and there wasn't enough of them to protect the town.
"Hold up, what damn army?" Jake asked puzzled enough to even be talking even if he had anger unresolved with the Cullens.
"Newborns, our kind." Carlisle finally let us know. New vampires made to destroy or so I thought.
"What are they after?" Embry beat me saving me from the embarrassment of asking myself. I didn't hate the vampires I just didn't know them enough myself to be speaking freely. “They're after Bella? What does this mean?” I thought. “What could they possibly want with a human girl?”
"They're after Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Jake commented. I was so grateful I had my brother and friends to ask these important questions for me. Carlisle finally let us know that this would be an ugly fight with lives lost. Jake, Embry, Quil, and I all looked at each other.
“What do you guys think?” Jake questioned in his head. I was sure he wanted to protect the girl he loved but I wasn't sure this girl loved him back. Although... Bella's life wasn't the only human life at risk here. “Our duty is to protect human lives from any vampire, I'm in if you guys agree on it.” Quil mentioned as he thought. “I wont deny to it but we also can't get too carried away and lose a werewolf life for Bella.” Embry thought. “Bella's life isn't the only one at risk here, what's preventing these newborn vampires from attacking any of the Forks citizens when they feel like it? We have to get rid of every last one of them.” I mentioned in my mind.
"All right, we're in" Jake insisted as he turned his head to look at Carlisle. I guess this caused Bella to panic a bit because she started refusing to let us fight in this newborn war. Which my brother quickly shut her down by mentioning he wasn't asking from permission. This caused Bella to look at Edward, waiting for him to say something.
That's when Edward said "it means more protection for you." Carlisle quickly followed this with a "Jacob, do you think Sam would agree to an understanding?"
“We get to kill some vampires, I'm sure he'll understand.” Embry thought. Quil then added in his head “as long as all of us werewolves come out intact.” Then I finished the last thought with “some blood will be spilt and it sure as hell wont be ours.” For the first time ever the Cullen vampires and us, werewolves, were getting along. Let's see how long this'll last.
"As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jacob mentioned in response to Carlisle's question. This is when Jasper mentioned that with us helping they'd have more numbers and the newborn vampires wont even know we exist.
————————————
(Cullen’s front door steps)
Sometime later after my brother and friends left, I stayed behind to make sure Bella returned home safe. I was sitting on the stairs outside the Cullen home when Alice came out to check up on me I suppose. It wasn't like I didn't notice how uncomfortable I made her or how whenever she came close she seemed to cover her nose with her hand.
"Are you sure you want to stay out here, Bella's telling me how cold it is, don't you want to come inside and-" before Alice could finish her sentence I interrupted her and said as I made eye contact with her "I'm not human, I run hot, I don't get cold. Why do you think my brother and friends run around shirtless all the damn time?" I'll agree I was being a bit rude not letting her finish her sentence, but I was on the edge. As much as I had liked to mention how I didn't have any problems with the Cullens something in us werewolves made us skittish at any close contact with vampires.
"Well... if you don't mind I can sit here with you, keeping you company, until Bella's ready to leave that is and if you'd have me" Alice mentioned, dragging me out of my deep thinking. What was wrong with this girl? She seemed to have no second thinking. I had heard about her amazing powers at being able to see the future but was she just so certain of everything that she'd come close to one of her biggest predators? All I could do was nod and look away as she took a seat next to me.
"I might not be a mind reader like Edward but I do know what you're thinking, I can see the future after all... okay that came out creepier than expected" she chuckled as she made lines on the dirt with her index finger. Now that I thought about it... her hands were beautiful, they were slender and pale, how cold could they really be? If she had me holding her hand I'd make sure she was warm all the time, oh god what was I thinking? There's no way I could ever imagine myself with a vampire. As I heard my brother and friends complaints in my head I knew they were against the idea.
"You don't have to listen to your family, I mean it should be up to you whether you'd like to date whoever you'd like" Alice snapped me out of my thoughts one more. Dammit I forgot she knew everything I was thinking before I thought it. If I was annoyed at my family doing that I could just shield my thoughts away from them but Alice could just listen into whatever she wanted.
Alice chuckled before saying "you know I know what you're thinking and everything but it's so much better when I can have an actual conversation with someone." That's when she looked my way and showed me her beautiful smile, then and there I knew I had fallen under the vampire control. The books said it, humans who saw them said it, even my family's stories mentioned how beautiful they were and here I was charmed by one.
"Oh yes! Sorry about that it's just... I got caught in my thinking and well you were answering me back" I chuckled "I guess I felt like you were a part of the werewolves since we all just kind of talk inside our heads to each other."
That's when I head the door open behind us, as I looked behind me I could see Bella peeking her head out and I could hear Edward telling her to be safe and to be careful around me. I didn't have problems with Edward, I understood all he wanted to do was protect Bella. Plus I thought this fight between him and Jake was stupid anyway.
"Am I interrupting something?" Bella mentioned as she looked between me and Alice who seemed to be sitting a little too close to each other.
————————————
3rd POV:
"Nope, I was just keeping Y/N here some company while you made up your mind to leave." Alice smiled and got up as she patted away the dirt from her clothing. Alice seemed to be a girl of high class, the kind of girl who stressed over having the latest bag or piece of clothing. She didn't give off the brat vibe, she just seemed like she put a lot of effort into herself. Yet... here she was sitting on the dirty ground with Y/N just because they didn't want to be inside. They could've at least given her their sweater to sit on or something.
Y/N looked at Bella and said to her "are you ready? We don't have to leave if you aren't ready." Everyone noticed how Bella and Edward seemed attached at the hip, never own without the other, one always trailing behind.
"Oh don't worry about that I've had my fun, plus I think it's cruel leaving you waiting more. I know how faithful you guys are to each other and if Jake asks a favor you'd do it. The same goes for the other werewolves."
"Well... if there's nothing more to do then let's get going, I have a date with my comfy bed." Y/N mentioned as they stretched but Alice caught their attention before they could leave.
"Hey Y/N! Before you leave here..." she handed them a small paper with her phone number on it.
"We should hang out soon... somewhere where it's not so full of dirt" she chuckled. Y/N nodded before they left with Bella. They knew the dirt had bothered Alice. She gave them her number... and all they did was nod and walk away!
I hope you guys enjoyed that, I'm not a pro at writing fan fiction and even though I've mastered English as a language I still have some trouble as it is not my mother tongue. If you guys would like to see more of this please let me know or let me know who you'd like me to write for.
