⚠️tw: descriptions of violent assault, torture, and sexual abuse in video below ⚠️
A Palestinian mother talks about how the IOF brutalized, sexually violated, and humiliated her children -the IOF also STOLE their money and called them animals... DESPICABLE.
Before, during, and after the first day of the ICJ trial, the IOF continues to bomb and wreak havoc, terror, and destruction onto Palestinian people and their homes and communities. It's beyond evil and sadistic.

If this post gets 50k notes before July 7th of 2024 I'll do anything possible to go to therapy and investigate if I really got rapped when I was 10 years old so I can stop living with an uncomfortable feeling of doubt and insecurity with my own body
This got extremely specific I'm sorry

I'm so sorry to say this but, your trauma is not an excuse to dictate what other people can consume in fiction or not.
Your abuser was a proshipper, I'm so sorry you had to endure that, but before being a proshipper, they were, simply, a piece of shit!
The problem is, they'd have been a piece of shit whether they consumed that kind of content or not. People are not black and white. You don't exclusively consume content that you think is right to replicate in real life (you would leave like 90% of anime and fiction out that way), nor do you suddenly start think problematic content is okay to replicate just because you consume it already.
What you experienced is horrible. It was wrong and I'm so so sorry you had to endure that, I really fucking am. But this, applying your trauma-born logic to a bigger population and liking a bunch of strangers online to your abuser because of the media they consume, is not how you cope or deal with the situation.

If I had a nickel for every time there was a musical number where a pink character sang a pop song about their sexual abuse and unresolved trauma with the song ending with them crying and having a mental breakdown...

I’d have TWO nickels!

Jay’s been through it
CW: Sexual assault Implications brief discussion of sexual predators + lotta swearing
(Please let me know if I missed any content warnings and Check if you are ok to hear this theory before reading. This type content has potential to help or hurt you depending on who you are as is the nature of problematic themes. Safety over curiosity.)
This is cannon compliment. Uhh kids show?! Yeah I know shouldn’t really have these themes but they’re there hear me out. Spoilers for season 6/8 I guess.
I’m bothered by this scene and how It connect to certain events so I’ll cautiously share
Sons of Garmadon Episode 7:
Here is the clip
Kelo asks “Where’s the green Ninja”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHAT THE FUCK! Dude the double take I had when first watching this.
So he looked at Kelo’s… lower half and basically said ‘Cole shut up that man’s crotch is too close’. And not in Jay joking tone, he’s like dead serious and stressed. (The scene just cuts away after)
Jay you ok? Why is it implied some guy might have tried something?! Why else would he say that?! Who the FUCK touched my boi? What even is this scene?!
The fact it’s Jay that said it out of everyone is bad because it’s been implied to him before.
So let’s talk about the darkest Ninjago theory that’s been quietly circulating for a while in fan content. For simplicity I’ll call it captains quarters theory, If you’re unfamiliar I’ll explain.
Basically some speculation happened because of a certain villain that displayed subtle ongoing predatory behavior. And a part when Jay was his prisoner that caused people to worry what happened before the scene started.
As some of you have caught on It’s the scene where Cole rescues Jay from Misfortunes Keep.
He didn’t find Jay in his cell where he should have.
Cole found him beaten as ninjago has ever depicted except when literally dying.
Alone
no explanation given.
In the corner of Captains Quarters.
Nadakhan’s room.
Tumblr media
Dude :(
And his concern afterwards.
Tumblr media
And thinking he didn’t deserve saving.
“Thank you for trying to save me,-
Tumblr media
It’s Just a lot.
Doing awful things to make Jay wish it all away is terrifyingly in Nadakhan’s character. Not just the sadistic torture part.
Nadakhan has many behaviors similar to a sexual predator. I’ll go over it briefly but see my last post for a detailed analysis.
He Seeks out vulnerable people for victims. The Ninja are teens and he waits till or makes them emotionally vulnerable. The way he talks about gifting his wishes and giving his victims anything they desire can be read as grooming behavior. His secrecy in getting all the ninja alone and doesn’t even talk to his crew about his plans. Manipulative and Controlling obviously.
And the most glaring issues he’s WAY tooo fucking touchy all the time. Like watch his body language during Skybound and see how uncomfortable it is
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Too slow junkyard boy”
Not to mention how explicitly he doesn’t care about consent….
Tumblr media
And “If you don’t come willingly Nya, I will take you regardless” followed by a forced marriage.
Side note he doesn’t refers to Jay with his name and the things he calls him…uggh “What lies is our little canary whistling now, hmm?”
So… It’s cannon compliant that something was attempted or happened to Jay. Bruh wtf.
Well if you feel like you resonate with this or it may help there a few great fanworks that explore this I can recommend if interested. Mmm comfort angst.
(Note don’t bother anyone for enjoying Nadakhan as a character. It’s fiction and it hurts no one)

Heavy trigger warnings for sa, victim blaming, and gambling addiction.
This is very early on to make a critical meta of Hazbin Hotel, so consider this a contained critique of ep4 alone. And if the show goes in a whole different direction, I'll gladly eat my word.
Angel Dust is Victim Blamed in Ep4
Tumblr media
A character doesn't speak for its show, but it seems like they were playing it straight. And they took it too far. Their situations have simularities, but cannot go beyond a small parallel.
Husk had power and but lost it because of his addiction. Now he's stuck serving an overlord. Angel had no power and made one mistake. Now he's getting r*ped and abused. These situations are not the same. Which makes the next bit very distasteful:
Tumblr media
No he isn't. He's a sa survivor. That is victim blaming. Making an endearing song about how they're similar where Husk is calling Angel a loser, is straight up victim blaming. What makes this even worse is that Angel is now convinced that he's a loser.
Tumblr media
There's another massive issue with framing Angel Dust and Husk as similar, one that I've spotted in Poison as well. I think it's perfectly illustrated here:
Tumblr media
But we weren't talking about Angel Dust supposedly having a sex addiction. We were talking about him getting r*ped because of a contract. The show is painting a picture of Angel being drawn to sex work and being a loser for it. Angel Dust's "appletite" is not the issue. He is not the issue.
But looking back at Poison, I don't think this issue stems from comparing Angel to Husk. Because in his own song, he says this:
Tumblr media
"Addicted"? What does he mean by that? The feelin' of... getting r*ped?
The show is mixing up a sex addiction with sexual abuse and the implications couldn't be worse. They're making it seem like Angel Dust caused his sexual abuse because he was an addict. Like it's his fault for being "drawn" and I don't know what the intent was, but someone fucked up.
I came into this episode hearing it was insensitive, but coming in with an open mind. I honestly didn't expect victim blaming. I didn't expect sexual abuse to be compared to following orders. I didn't expect a sa survivor getting called a loser. And I didn't expect lines like "I can't help but swallow". Again, if they subvert this, great! I'll be happy. But for now: He didn't cause any of this. He's not a loser.

Sound of Freedom, Operation Underground Railroad, and Tim Ballard are frauds who hurt the people who fight actual human trafficking.
Talk to anyone who fights real trafficking, they will tell you what is wrong with Ballard. To start with, he used to fight child sexual exploitation as a federal agent but he quit to act as a vigilante. Here is the short version of how OUR works: they go into a foreign country and throw money around until a pimp approaches them. They then tell the pimp they want children, and ask the pimp to bring kids to a secondary location. Then they call the cops, have the police arrest the pimps, streams the arrest on FaceTime for a high tier donor, and then go home. If you don’t get what’s wrong with this let me explain: OUR raises the demand for child sex slaves. A mommy blogger who Ballard brought along wrote an entire article about her experience. He says his team is all sorts of CIA agents and SEALs, but apparently moms from Utah are more reflective. It turns out some of the kids were trafficked for the first time FOR Ballard. He waved money and encouraged that trafficking. Afterwards, he left the country with a handshake promise that the kids would be cared for by the police. He will say the kids got aftercare, but evidence says otherwise.
But maybe that’s not enough for you?
He hired a psychic in Utah to tell him where a child was in the Dominican Republic. He flew a team as well as that child’s father down to the town the psychic indicated and found nothing other than locals scared of the American paramilitary vigilantes who were asking for children.
He and a sister organization said they were evacuating people from Afghanistan. No one has found any evidence to prove that.
He has claimed OUR saved a 12 year old girl from slavery. Then, she was 11. Then it turned out she saved herself a decade ago without his help and they want to get credit for rescuing her.
He claimed to be partnered with American Airlines, who have no idea what he is talking about.
So what actually DOES Ballard do?
He campaigns against drag queens
Promotes Qanon/Wayfair conspiracies
Cast the actor who played Jesus to play himself in his own movie. (The actor actively campaigns on blood libel Q conspiracies)
But beyond all that, just remember the movie isn’t donating to anti trafficking causes. It’s just asking you to buy more tickets to juice the numbers.
Donate to your local shelter. Most trafficking victims are trafficked by loved ones or people close to them. The victims need all the help they can get.
And another thing: People are conflating criticism of this film with apologia for child trafficking. I keep seeing posts say it will “Raise Awareness,” despite it being an incorrect portrayal. If that’s true, then Die Hard is raising awareness about bank robbers.
Here’s an idea: watch or read ANYTHING from real survivors of trafficking.

I literally just saw someone explain that Labyrinth is about a child dealing with psychological trauma from sexual abuse... And that the reason why the dick (sorry for my foul language, but I I'm really tired of coming across bullshit like that) of David Bowie / Jareth was highlighted by the pants because it's his weapon of aggression...
Tumblr media
People really have a hard time understanding that this movie is simply a metaphor for a girl coming of age, with Jareth essentially being the pure representation of her fantasies / sexual awakening ?
Tumblr media
Like... Why do so many people have to make things that women like perverse or negative ? It's still crazy.
