"Just five more minutes," Chevalier says before tugging on your arm, pulling you back under the safety of the cocoon of blankets he is hiding under.
Five more minutes…with the love of your life. Chevalier smiles at you with that soft, gentle smile he reserves only for you. A subtle change of expression only you notice, one that gives you the tiniest glimpse into his brilliant mind. His fingers are still clasped around your wrist, refusing to let you go.
Five more minutes… to be teased by your lover. Hidden under the safety of covers, Chevalier lets out a beast that only you see. He pulls you closer to him, needing, not wanting, the closeness. Bringing your hand towards his lips, his smile is wicked before nipping your fingertip.
He drops your hand quickly, his eyes locking on yours before he pounces on his prey. With a small yelp, he easily pins you to the sheets. His body hovers over yours, his eyes gleaming with mischief before dipping his head to meet yours. And he kisses you. For at least five more minutes.

"Does it make sense?"
I think, ultimately, the thing that it comes down to for why I just can't see "the Jedi are intentionally written as dogmatic/dispassionate" or "Obi-Wan failed Anakin" or "the Jedi brought their own downfall" reads as valid anymore is because... it makes no sense that George Lucas - of all people - would write that.
Like, this is the guy who preaches the same lessons and philosophies that the Jedi do in the Prequels, every chance he gets (sometimes going all the way back to American Graffiti).
So ask yourself:
Does it make sense that he would intentionally make the characters to whom he gave his own values "dogmatic"?
He's a self-proclaimed "methodist-Buddhist". The Jedi are based on Buddhist monks.
youtube
Does it make sense that the buddhist would write a story about space-buddhists being "emotionless", "devoid of compassion" and "at fault for their own genocide"?
Lucas had an apprenticeship, that turned into a friendly/brotherly bond with his mentor Francis Ford Coppola. Their personalities were completely opposite (Coppola was more outgoing, George was more prudent) but they worked in sync, they completed each other.
youtube
Do you really think that this guy's intended narrative would be that "Qui-Gon would've been better-suited for Anakin as a teacher than Obi-Wan because the latter was prudent/strict and too different from the more passionate Anakin"?
George lays Anakin's downfall on Anakin's shoulders almost every time he talks about it. It's a corruption that was caused from within, he would be able to love without getting attached if he had joined the Jedi at an earlier age, but he didn't so his attachment and greed results in his turn to the Dark Side.
youtube
So does it make sense that Lucas' narrative would be that "the Jedi (aka EXTERNAL forces) pushed, denied and failed Anakin that they caused him to turn" instead of "it was Anakin's own fault because he wasn't able to let go"?
He has said multiple times that, aside from Anakin's downfall, the Prequels center on the Republic's downfall, never mentioned the Jedi once when describing what the Prequels are about.
youtube
If the Prequels were actually about "the fall of the Jedi and how they lost their way", wouldn't he have brought it up once? And would he really have focused so much on the Senate and politics rather than adding more development to characters like Mace and Yoda?
I think the answer to all of these is "no".
Here's one more: Lucas stated so many times that this was a fairy tale, that all six Star Wars movies are meant for kids. The situation of the Prequels is more complex than the one in the Original Trilogy, but before, during and after the Prequels Lucas confirmed that the Star Wars morality is binary, it is black and white, good vs bad.
Would he really intentionally make the Prequels this subversive story wherein "actually, if you stop and think about it, the good guys are really the bad guys"?
Or is it just that:
We live in a time where movie audiences expect the "good guy" to be individualistic, flawed and non-conformist, and the Jedi are a community of nigh-incorruptible champions of good who've already completed their character arcs.
So the adults (aka not the target audience) who watched the Prequels at the time were turned off by these characters who they perceived as "holier than thou", having been conditioned by the times they lived in to think that there are skeletons in "Mr. Perfect's" closet.
Thus, they retconned the films (via comics, books, games and episodes) so that they could enjoy the Prequels more, and did so by:
injecting more realistic "gray morality" themes into the films and
projecting an oppressive "boys don't cry" philosophy onto the Jedi.
For lack of a better metaphor, "they put a skeleton in Mr. Perfect's closet so that they could finally find his existence bearable, and keep bringing up that skeleton to this day."

✨🌈Lisa Frank-inspired NiGHTS sticker design idea🌈✨
Lisa NiGHTS. Haha. I’m nostalgic for those folders mannn. Maybe one day I’ll make a shop to put fanart in cause I’m so proud of this fhdhfhdh.
I have an alternate version of the design because I liked the white border as well.
Tumblr media
I think the borderless design is my favorite but this still slaps👏🏻

Snapetober Day 3 - Path
Inspired by @sneverussape's headcanons
"You go down that way, ya walk for 20 minutes and then there's the factory right to your left. My pals' boys usually wait for us there. We come out at 5. I can show you the machines."
The tall man turned his gaze to the child by his side, waiting for an answer. As usual, the boy was lost in a world of his own; fucking nothing could be done to make him swap out of it for good. He shook his shoulder brutally.
"Oi, kid! You listening to me?"
Fearful black eyes met his, the very same as Eileen's.
"Yes, da'", Severus replied in a small voice, the kind his father found vaguely enraging for no justifiable reason.
Did he have to sound so girlish, so weak? Why couldn't he be like the other boys? He was already a laughing stock as it was. Too much brain like his mum, but unwilling to put his hands in the dirt, unlike her.
Sure, the kid did well in school. But he also came home all bruised. One look at him and you knew he was the one to beat up – he looked just like these poor lads on the battlefield, barely 18, crying for their mums in the midst of bombs everywhere.
Not one of them had made it.
The other boys, they came to try their hand at the machines, they went to the pub with their fathers, or to boxing matches. Severus read. He hated sports and never said a word at Church. He didn’t want to put his tongue in the glass of liquor like the other kids. If he came home dirty, it was only because he had been on the hunt for some animal by the river, or piking bloody weeds he stoked up by the side of the house. Might as well have come home with flower bouquets.
Tobias knew nothing about books, or animals, or plants.
Severus had nothing to say, to him at least. And Eileen, he could tell, secretly liked it. That he was different. Tobias hated her for that. She enabled him. When she looked at the boy, there was pride. Where did it come from? Why did she come alive all of a sudden?
He couldn’t make her happy, but Severus could, that was what.
In front of him and the boy, the path divided itself in two. The right side led deeper into Cokeworth, it was all black and dirty because the guys from the mine used it to come home – Tobias had been fired only six months ago. Disorderly conduct, they had said. More like they needed to cut their expenses. He didn’t like the dark and the loud noises anyway.
The left side of the path wasn’t used much. It crossed the river to the nicer part of town, there were mulberries and wildflowers growing over it. It crossed the bridge and led straight to a nice playground for the nice kids up there. Their parents would rather they play elsewhere, Tobias had heard. Nasty kids attending the only school in town was already an issue: no need for their spick and span offspring to mingle with them after school hours.
“You go home now”, he told his son abruptly. “I need to get to work. You can come by at 5 if you want.”
-
The bell rang at last. The guys put down their stuff and went outside to stretch. Their boys had been waiting there for some time already, playing football.
Tobias looked around, but saw no Severus. He had cleaned his machine thoroughly to show him. He watched as John’s kid sat on his father’s knees, dirty nails clinging to his father’s shirt. Severus never got near him like that. But that was good, wasn’t it? A boy like this didn’t need more coddling. Good spankings made for strong boys.
It looked nice, though.
He needed a drink.
-
He stumbled home and asked Eileen where the boy was.
“He’s not here”, she told him. “He left a bit before 5.”
He cursed under his breath and cracked another beer open.
-
He watched, leaning unsteadily against a tree, as Severus sat down in the grass behind a bush, at a safe distance from the playground. There were two girls there, a blond one and a redhead. The boy was looking at them with a sort of fascination that infuriated him.
Let him play with girls and lick the boots of the better off, Tobias thought confusedly. He'll learn soon enough that this won't make the world any kinder to him.
He turned on his heel, and never again cleaned his working surface at the factory.

Finally, I have gathered the courage to make another oc (that i hopefully will not abandon). This is Dralliss, a Mindflayer :>
She has quite a few funky features about her. As a human, she was born with a total of 12 toes and 12 fingers, so it translated into her current state in the form of extra tentacles, fingers, and toes. She also can not walk or lift heavy things due to how damaged her bones and muscles are.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dralliss doesn’t really go out into the sun often. She prefers to stay inside the castle walls, as it is easier to spy and control the people inside 🥰 so the heavy clothes are there as a backup!
This is my first attempt at a mindflayer, so feel free to roast the shit out of me 😎
(please don't, or i will cry)
