All’improvviso perdi il…

Lover’s Arm
Rose-wrapped ivory tower your gold-sawed finger regimentally straight
Bushel of pallid shorn staves triangled inside smokerise-shape-sleeve
Nails pearlescent, docking round of sunrise paler
Scent recollection’s ease; Hers resurrected Nazarene
Sweet heaven-sent honey on hair, harlot high priestess
Castilian rose scent surrounds myroblyte’s enclosure
Stealing glances, steeling lances the cirrus banks of heaven hot with horse-breath
Tranquillitas ante tempestatem, yon nascent light auto-enamoured
Surrendering oaths, pressed to face infineight gunbarrel of Beauty’s flintlock
Hand I hold like Adam’s hand but Eve, longer than Eve and starting like Adam
Fruitbiter arbiter of self esteem let ripen fruit and judgement clean
Hand I grasp a flask of art poise-imbued, poised and a poisoner and a perfecter
Branch picker, pick cleaner, a lost-digited spider fashioned from pipe cleaners.

"Praying for peace entails believing that peace begins with you, and aligning yourself with peacefulness. Peace is understood in the Christian tradition as tranquillitas ordinis, the quietness of order, the calm that comes with harmony. And order is arranging things so that each gives to the other its proper place. Even God must do this. In the Jewish tradition it is said that, in order to create the world, God had to step back."
