SUMMARY: Rumi and Moe are newlywed wives and are taking their much anticipated honeymoon to a couple’s retreat. As one would expect, the two are happy and enjoying their marriage, each other and their vacation. A bummer it goes downhill from there when they find themselves in the middle of carnage and have to escape with their lives.
GENRES: Horror-Comedy with some Romance thrown in there
WARNINGS: Given this is horror, there is blood and violence. On a scale of how bad from 1 to 10, it's about a 6.5. There is also some nightmares. But that's about it! Don't worry, I did include tags!
RATING: Mature (See Above)
STATUS: ONGOING
FIC CAN BE READ HERE!!
Below are some covers I made based off the banner!!

Thinking about my CLASS ANTICS poll, I thought of another reason as to why I don't talk about my fics.
Now, this is my own experience, I don't speak for writers everywhere.
Okay, so, upfront, I'm always excited about a fic I'm writing. And if you notice, the most I'll say is "I just thought of an idea!" and don't expand on it.
Well, it's because before it didn't seem like anyone was interested in my writing posts. Couple of months back, I made a "favorite quotes" from my BotB fic and just deleted it because no one liked it or anything.
Same for my "There's Miruko, There's Rumi" fic. Made a detailed post, deleted it after.
Like I do have some posts still up about some of my fics where it's like my favorite scenes or summaries in a nutshell, but it is very disappointing that little people don't seem to like them. It is very disappointing to see many reblogs, but most be from myself.
I want to go into detail about my "Tragedy Wives" AU because I'm excited for the ideas I have plan for it, among other things.
At best, I feel like a couple of things... if the writing post isn't...
Shippy or not about a popular ship
Angsty
Smutty
About the more fan favorites
Then people won't pay much attention to those posts.
I wanted to talk about "Green Flames, White Fur", it was my first self given challenge and kicked off my love for BurnBunny. But even though it's a ship fic, it's also a fic about a rarepair and while Miruko is a popular character nowadays, it doesn't seem people care much for her being written with more feelings than just wanting to fight. Little people care about her actually having a relaxing day, or crying and someone giving her comfort. Genuine feelings!
At most, if it's not sexual, she has to be Hawks' bestie, she has to give the advice or be the one with the head on her shoulders.
Where was I going with this?
Oh yeah!
I do want to talk about my fics, I do. I do want to talk about an AU I have in mind and go into detail, I do. I want to talk about a completed fic, give you the process of how I wrote it, what's my thoughts on it, I do.
I just don't see the point sometimes...
The time you'll see me go into detail talking about a fic is when I actually post the fic's link and reblog it to my main here. And hell, most of the time I have to hype myself up for that.
Of course, I do invite asks and comments about my fics, but I don't wait on those because that is a rare occurrence someone will do that.

Despite the explicit instruction not to, Orpheus looks back. He needs to know if Eurydice will follow him anywhere, and so, he turns- And he finds her standing in place, unmoving.
We, the audience, find this sad for a few reasons:
1. We know there was a time when Eurydice would have followed him to the ends of the earth and straight into hell- but now, she watches Orpheus ascend to heaven alone. We know there was a time when she would have followed. We know what has changed between the then and the now.
2. Orpheus does not know what has changed. Orpheus does not know Eurydice stays because of how badly she loves. Orpheus thinks Eurydice has stayed behind because she does not love him enough.
3. Eurydice thinks the same thing. We know this, but we cannot tell them. They have both gone to places we cannot go.
4. By looking back, Orpheus has doomed them both, thinking he was saving them. If given the chance, he would do it again.
5. At some point, Orpheus believed the world was good, and Eurydice believed the world was evil. At some point, their love was powerful enough to change each other's minds.
6. Now, both see what the world could be. Orpheus reveres it. Eurydice fears it. Both are wrong. We don't know if their love can become powerful enough to change their minds again.
7. Eurydice does not follow, but she waits to see if Orpheus will turn around again. She cannot resist one last look.
8. We, the audience, know what has happened, and we know why- Orpheus and Eurydice are not gods. Their mistakes are human. We watch the scene again and again, denying what has transpired, longing for a deeper reason- coffees, lies, a higher power- but the story of Orpheus and Eurydice plays out the way it always does, for the reason it always has- love.
9. These two know the story of Orpheus and Eurydice well. Perhaps they watched it play out. Perhaps they greeted Eurydice at death's door. Perhaps they sat in a tavern and heard Orpheus play. Aziraphale thinks the story is about the inevitably of fate, the inability to resist the higher-ups- a god's will is ineffable. Crowley thinks the story is about the inevitably of leaving, the inability to have a happy ending- a god is always cruel. Neither have gotten this story quite right.
10. Once again, Aziraphale and Crowley have forgotten to focus on the love.

so i've spoken before abt how jace might've insisted on postponing his and baela's wedding till after the dance (despite ample opportunity/mutual desire) bc his love for her wanted to give her a ceremony without death looming over it. and that his fear for her compelled him not to wed and inevitably bed her when the tragedy of three harrowing labors might take what should be a joyful time away from them and - even more than that - take his beloved baela from him.
but what if, and bear with me for a moment, what if beyond rhaenyra and laena and rhaenys - all three women robbed, in some way shape or form, of a queendom - jace's thoughts took him to another targaryen ancestor, robbed of her birthright, burdened with the loss of her husband, and left alone to defend and protect their children from usurpers? maybe i'm just spitballing but what if jace's nights during the dance were haunted by the memory of rhaena targaryen, black bride, queen of the west, queen of the east, and whose ghost yet haunts the halls of harwin's his father's home at harrenhal?
what if he sees his baela, bold and brave and so beautiful, and knows - gods willing - he'll make her his queen. what if jace sees her and wants so many things for her but not one of those things is to make a rhaena targaryen of her. rhaena who was queen of the west and queen of the east but never ruled as queen of westeros in her own right - and, in trying to spare baela of that fate, jace dies anyway.
and she becomes a bit like rhaena regardless: robbed of her love and her crown.

a consecutive list of shit that’s happened in my sims 4 ineffable wives save, in order. oh boy
sim day one, they’re roomies who don’t know eachother i meant it when i said slowburn (thanks to lumpinou’s lgbtq+ mod they’re both demisexual and demiromantic)
sim day two, they’re besties! try taking a guess if i used cheats or participated in the grind. (i love you mc command center mod)
still sim day two for these two, they’re flirting!
uh oh mission get the lesbians together paused, because antonia j crowley GOT FUCKED OVER BY THE LIFES TRAGEDIES MOD AND WAS ACTIVELY FUCKING DYING FROM A TERMINAL ILLNESS. like the dramatic bitch she is, attempted to promptly die in aziraphales arms but my game glitched.
two failed surgeries and a severe anxiety diagnosis later, i cheat take away the fatal illness and disable tragedies for antonia AND aziraphale! (i forgot to mention it but while crowley was out here getting surgeries, she nearly got targeted by a serial killer. at this point i nearly fucking deleted life’s tragedies)
they both get some sleep after all the trauma it is now sim day 3. while aziraphale goes to her culinary career, i let antonia celebrate with two hookups from the simda dating app and she gets promptly railed by akira kibo and johnny zest.
aziraphale always has a tense moodlet from being introverted and particularly wasn’t feeling it when akira fucking kibo would not leave so i use the extreme violence mod to murder his ass while antonia naps.
now that its just them, we finally catch up on getting the ineffable idiots together :)) they flirt more, hug and eventually woohoo on the coffee table and go to sleep. they’re also officially dating
my sims wake up at the ass crack of dawn, it is day 4 in sims time and i notice an uncomfortable moodlet off of crowley so i check. IT IS PREGNANCY CRAVINGS???? yeah crowleys pulled a donna sheridan by getting knocked up and not knowing who the father is.
she tells azi, who gets a fine moodlet from the baby not being hers. i notice this, have them be flirty in the kitchen and BAM is that a proposal literally TWELVE MINUTES BEFORE AZI GOES TO WORK?? you’d be correct ding ding.
i make some adjustments to the house because crowley now has a crotch groblin inside her. the wives share a room, and crowleys old room becomes a yellow nursery for baby girl!
not very eventful until literally 10pm, when thanks to LIFES TRAGEDIES MOD we get an armed robber come in while crowley is napping 💀 so i use mc command center, think the robber will die if i kill her and turn her into a ghost because there’s been a few failed murder attempts and brawls atp but SHES STILL ROBBING OUR HOUSE. AS A FUCKING GHOST.!?!(!,
at this point only the lord can save these bastards so i leave without saving so the heist never happened.
redo of day 4, morning still the same but they instead adopt a hairless cat named maya and immediately become the worlds best cat mums :)) we might have had to delete the adopter to be able to officially keep her but it’s fine!
that’s all that’s eventful for now, so i have to ask:

The pope waiting it out hoping someone dies is kind of a tell. so many times i hear koa stans go so hard on this, that she was right, morally and legally, every step of the way.and we should shut up accept that and be ashamed she was ever put through this. but when you look at it as the pope sitting on the fence, and not immediately finding for her, it doesn't look as clear as koa stans say. And i find that a much more interesting situation and a relief from the "saint koa" line
I mean, he still treated her abysmally, but yeah, if precedent had actually been followed Henry would have certainly won this case. I almost believe how it was won was ultimately the result of geography; Charles V was simply closer.
This is one of the most infamous and generally misunderstood divorce cases, though, I learned about most of its misconceptions in JF Hadwin's papers about the case. I will post more quotes if there's interest, one example was that bona fides did not apply in England legally although it did on the continent (since often Henry declaring his eldest illegitimate is characterized as merely 'petty' and 'cruel', I think that's actually pretty important).
Also the decree against Henry sort of made Clement look like an ass (well, not exactly, because he died 1st...those that maintained and upheld it, at any rate) because it combined with the others meant that the expectation was that it would be enforced, if not by Henry's own subjects than by another Catholic kingdom. Really the closest this ever came to was Kildare Rebellion and the Pilgrimage of Grace. And although Henry was not officially excommunicated until December 1538, this too was never actually carried out (not even when Edward VI, far more Protestant than Anne Boleyn, was on the throne). Unless we view the excommunication of Elizabeth I as an extension of Henry's to some extent, this expectation was never answered until 1588, and when it finally was, it failed. Little wonder there were so many tones of providentialism and 'triumphal Protestantism' in Whig historiography of Tudor history.

Love you so much, Kiya! For you -> 💜💜
I'm very interested in your answers for 4, 5, 6, and 9!
4. What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?
Well, to choose a fic, I guess... this description of Miruko in chapter 3 of "That's My Bunny!!"
Draped over Rumi's body was a satin black dress that fell all the way down to her feet. The draping neckline was supported by thin straps, revealing bronzed skin that seemed to glow, giving even her collarbone area some emphasis. The material shaped her nicely, like a loving hug and showing off her curved waist. The double slits of her dress gave her strong legs and thighs some loving, too. And those arms of hers! Moe was sure that her girlfriend was trying to kill her showing off those toned muscles of hers. It was unfair just how beautifully crafted that gold band around her upper arm suits her, matching the heels, adding bracelet and the moon charm necklace she wore. Her pure white hair was tied back in a high ponytail that swung gracefully behind her in curls with just a few strands framing her face. Rumi went simple with makeup, just a bit of highlight on the highest points of her cheeks and lips lined with brown that also sparkled with the gloss she went for.
I actually wanted to post about this part for a while, but I was too embarrassed to post it and didn't think anyone would be interested in it. 😆
5. What do you wish someone would ask you about [insert fic]? Answer it now!
I'll be honest, I can't exactly think of anything of the top of my head! I do wish for more questions in general about my fics, maybe about my Miruko centric fics and the Class Antics series. They're my least popular fics and most of them don't even have comments like that.
6. What’s one fact about the universe of [insert fic] that you didn’t get a chance to mention in the fic itself?
To choose a fic, I guess... ooh! In the "Tragedy Wives" AU, Burnin is a firefighter.
9. How do you find new fic to read?
I explore the tags that I'm in the mood for! Or I end up writing a new fic for me to read.

I wonder if Eve knew of Lillith's banishment, and knew she was bound of the same fate so that's why she chose to pick the fruit of wisdom for herself. If she can't guarantee safety in the garden, she may as well bring them both down instead.

Generation Loss is a comedic tragedy in every sense of the word. Every character we see exemplifies this fact, but no one other than The Austin Show proves its truth.
We begin at the carousel. Austin, Gay, takes his turn by pleading for himself to live because he has a wife and children back home. The rest of the cast interrogates him about his “wife and kids,” clearly suspicious of his truthfulness without even knowing his dubbed “title.” Everyone in the room treats Austin like a joke.
In turn, so do we.
Tumblr media
Next, we reach the closet and shortly after the failed drag show, Austin remarks, “Look, I uh… I didn’t expect to die here.” It’s a moment of pure honesty, whether we like it or not. It happens again when the Puzzler tries to party with them, and Austin has to angrily remind him that they are his captives and are actively trying to kill them.
Austin: “What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? We're trying to get out of here. I have children and wives— wife. One wife! What is this some sort of game? I’ve been stuck in hear for hours it seems. We’re trying to get out. Why is nobody else freaking out? We’ve got C4 strapped to our neck…”
It isn’t until Ethan’s death, his blood pooling out from underneath the door, Austin screaming at the others, begging them to have a reaction, to care about their circumstances, to care about death, that we finally understand Austin’s role in Generation Loss.
After all, in every great comedy, someone always has to play the straight man.

Consider this my attempt to say to the field of architecture in a way that matters: Do not participate in this. Do not build shiny skyscrapers on the graves of entire lineages wiped out in a single blast, or luxury condos on the barren land where, before the bombs fell, Palestinian families were forcibly removed from their homes. Do not wag your finger and say “It’s complicated” when the world has seen the footage of people searching for their loved ones among a sea of white body bags, and of journalists weeping on television after hearing of the killing of their wives and children. Do not contribute to this violence, and do not give it an architectural form. Do not contribute to the legacy of architects who profited from the devastation of thousands of innocent human lives. Do not do it. It is my hope that many architects and firms will refuse work in an ethnically cleansed Palestine, just as they had the moral clarity to suspend their projects in Russia after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. But to those who will answer disaster capitalism’s call: When the buildings are completed and the world looks back on this moment with great shame, you will be implicated, and those who chose not to be complicit will not forgive you.
