A gift? A gift for the Eternal Lord and Lady of Shadows? Needless to say, Yin Jiyang was displeased with the development, with the source of his Curse being handed over as an offering of alliance. Was there no end to this suffocating servitude? At least THIS Lord of Shadows granted Yin Jiyang slightly more freedom to wander about, though he was still treated as less than half a person.

At this moment, however, he found himself in a secluded ravine--a place of darkness and quiet where scarcely any life dared to grow or tread. He stood in silence, basking in the cold pitch and absorbing it like a welcoming embrace of an old friend--that is, until he sensed a presence that was very much warm and alive and...not...what one would expect to find in such a place. His absorption stopped and his attention shifted, midnight gaze settling upon the stranger in the distance though he did not call out, oh no, he did not speak a word. Yin Jiyang only watched her, soundless.

aaahh i saw a very tender overseas higuita comic about their potential reunion where yuji interpreted higuruma’s line about hating himself if he stayed with yuji as an extension of hating yuji... it’s so very authentically them for something like that to get lost in translation it hurts.

i still can’t get over how they had the most cliche romance trope ever. the part of the romance movie where one of the leads considers themselves a lost cause / too bad an influence to justify staying around the person they love. 

“if i stay with you... i’ll just hate myself more. sorry. i wasn’t criticizing you.”

 literally higuruma said “it’s not you it’s me”!!! but of course yuji still takes it personally/thinks higuruma must hate him!!! the stereotypical romance movie drama of it all when two people care about each other but also hate themselves so much they don’t think they deserve any(one)thing good to stay in their lives. 

i know gege is not done with higuruma narratively speaking but i truly hope higuruma and yuji reunite TT>TT i want them to have the tearful and emotional reunion they deserve...

I haven't done dragon art, but I once drew a doodle of a scene (Chpt 4) that made me roll on the floor. (/ω＼) I respect so much the work that Kinzy's dragon anatomy requires and I recognize that my limited knowledge makes any attempt at art a real challenge;

I've always enjoyed seeing how Kinzy brings authentic life to their dragons through their incredible designs and dynamic poses ✪ ω ✪ (Dream's drago form is my favorite, as well as his expressions, he's such a sweetheart!!)

I'm not sure I feel prepared to illustrate these magnificent, winged creatures yet. What I am sure of is rereading this beautiful story once again. Thanks for your question (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Hey Meep, Meepster, Meeperoni how do you draw scales?

I love your scales, both the prominent and far away ones. I especially love the scales on your cryptid boys.

So how do you do it?! When I try to draw scales it looks like a gravel road and just overall bad. Please share your wisdom, I beg.

In my head this turned into a bigger question than you might have intended pfjfjf, I tried my best to stay relativity simple with my answer!

Let me show you how you can think when figuring out big scales.

First I try to keep it simple and not sketch in all the scales until I've gotten the pose down.

When I start planning out scales I start with figuring out the direction of the scales and the big shapes (I usually do this in my head, but drawing it can be very useful)

Once I'm happy with the shapes and directions I start adding the scales one at a time, all overlapping each other like they're huge fish scales.

Scales don't always have to follow the same 'start at the head and run down the body' idea, you can do the opposite and get some very neat looking shapes. You can mix it up too. Here's some examples!

There are a lot of different kinds of scales and animals often have more than one kind. Some even do look like gravel!

I suggest looking at real life animals and fictional creatures for inspiration and reference. It takes a long while to learn how and where to use specific scales, but it'll be easier if you're willing to spend some time looking at and studying scales and the anatomy around them.

Danny is known to the league. Not his civilian identity but they know him as phantom. He was smart enough not to call himself Danny phantom for this.

Amity set off a lot of alarm bells for the JLD. Who have been led to believe it’s just a hot spot for natural portals due to the thin layer. Totally not because of a stable portal into the realm. Controlled by two adults who like to fish inside it. That’s just silly. Who in their right minds would even try to tear a whole between the dimensions.

Danny has a way to contact them if he needs help but never has. The league is unsure what to think of him. He often shows up to help but is only sociable with the teen hero’s. John said they couldn’t accurately gauge the age of a member of the infinite realm.

There really wasn’t any reason to assume he had two identities given he reads as a member of the realm. The bats likely still did there due diligence. With amorpho and duplicates it may be hard to pinpoint if he has two or one identity.

Over time the more Danny is around them he gets more talkative to the adults. Often fanboying over the alien side of the league. It’s common to see him around at least one of the groups at minimum once a month. Then it increases in how often he’s around. Nearly 1-3 times a week.

Then for a month or two radio silence. They couldn’t even find him in his supposed haunt in amity.

He makes a reappearance during a massive invasion. Refuses to talk to anyone. Is stiff and nervous and even flinching away from some of the adults. The same is true of the teen hero’s.

He always shows up to help never staying around after. He takes a bad hit, maybe a ray that disrupts his powers. Danny is forced back into human form unconscious.

This leads to medical finding recently healed Y on his chest. Or maybe one that red and puffy stitched together. You know whatever floats someone’s boat. As well as other scars and stuff.

Ones indicating a vivisection and other experimentations.
