Note
this might have to be more than one part, but can you please write a wrong number lando fic? like lando texts the wrong number somehow and they end up becoming good friends, they start falling for each other but lando lies about his identity the whole time until they meet or he tells the reader. and she’s pissed and she doesn’t know anything about f1 anyways so she doesn’t understand why he lied. with angst and stuff? idk if this is too specific or too much to ask!
Wrong Number, Right Person (LN4)
Summary: A wrong number leads Lando right to Y/n, but even the beautiful love they find together struggles to stand a chance against Lando’s lie of identity.
Warnings: none, BUT A HAPPY ENDING!!! Y/n’s bsf threatens to kill lando lol
Note: she is LONG! The word count is almost 9k oml but i have to say that @piastrification was a major help in making this because she read it for me and made it read less stupid! She also gave me some ideas so credit to her for that xx
If there was any moment where Y/n was beyond confused with absolutely no inkling of an answer, it was now. She stared down at her phone, clutching the device as she read over the message sitting on her Lock Screen over and over.
“What’s wrong?” Her best friend, Annie, asked. Her eyebrows were scrunched together in a way she had always done since they were kids, Y/n loved the way that had never changed. The two women had experienced so much growth over the years, but it was heartwarming to see some things hadn’t.
Her eyes flickered to Annie before turning her phone around, “Why does this person think I’m supposed to be meeting them in half an hour?”
Annie laughed out loud, taking the phone from the other girl’s hands and typing out a reply, “Seems like this poor person has the wrong number.”
When Y/n’s phone is returned to her grasp, she giggles at what Annie had done.
Unknown Number
Hey! Just letting you know I’ll be there in thirty minutes. Hope you aren’t running late like last time…
Y/n
Uh, I’m actually running really behind schedule. I won’t be able to get there until around three hours from now. Sorry.
The two girls continued their lunch, feeling a bit bad about messing with a stranger’s plans but laughing nonetheless. It wasn't until Y/n’s phone started blowing up that the color began to drain from their faces.
Unknown Number
WHAT? THREE HOURS????? WHAT?
Unknown Number
YOU’RE MESSING WITH ME RN
Unknown Number
If you don’t answer me in .5 seconds, I WILL show up to your house and wreck your shit
Unknown Number
LIKE WHAT? THREE HOURS? WE’VE HAD THESE PLANS FOR WEEKS MATE
Unknown Number
Literally answer me rn or I’m telling Oscar to help me plan your murder
Y/n’s hand clasped over her mouth as she frantically began to type out a reply, guilt settling over the amusement.
Y/n
You most definitely have the wrong number. Sorry, me and my friend thought it would be funny to tell you that your plans were basically ruined. Our bad. But, I have no idea who Oscar is and I pray for the person you are meaning to text rn. Plz don’t wreck their shit!
His response was immediate.
Unknown Number
Oh… sorry for my small outburst then. But, how am I meant to know this isn’t actually the person I’m trying to get a hold of?
Y/n laughed before Annie suggested taking a picture and sending it to the mysterious number. Probably stupid considering they had no idea who was on the other side of the phone, but an image was sent regardless.
Y/n
*Image Attached*
Y/n
I am most definitely not whoever you are trying to get a hold of.
The number doesn’t respond for a few minutes, busy for all they know or getting bored of texting a supposed stranger. However, her phone dings on the table and the two girls peek to see the response.
Unknown Number
Woah, you are for sure not who I am meant to be texting right now.
Unknown Number
You are very pretty tho
Y/n giggled,
Y/n
Thank you, but not thank you if you are an old man or serial killer. I don’t take compliments from psychos.
Unknown Number
Haha no I am not an old man or serial killer. I’m a child in a 24 year old man’s body.
Y/n
How do I know this for sure?
Unknown Number
Trust me?
Y/n
Okay, ig. What’s your name?
The food comes to the table and Annie begins to dig in, watching her best friend closely before the girl puts her phone down.
“He stopped responding. I asked for his name. Probably got scared or something.” She murmurs before cutting into her chicken. Annie nods her head side to side before they take up another topic of conversation, seemingly moving on from the previous random male who had interrupted their lunch.
However, there’s another vibration on the table ten minutes later. Y/n picks up her phone.
Unknown Number
Robert :) But, people call me Bob. What’s yours?
Y/n
I am going against everything my parents ever taught me by telling a stranger my name and what I look like… but I’m Y/n :)
Y/n
Btw bob sounds like a fake name that’s so funny
🏎️
The next day, Y/n wakes up to yet another message from Bob- who had begun to take up the majority of her text notifications’ real estate. She didn’t mind in the slightest, though. They got on like a house on fire, banter, jokes and conversation free-flowing at any given time.
Bob!
Good morning :)
Bob!
Wait, is it morning for you? Where do you even live?
Y/n
Okay, stalker. It’s literally 9 am, why am I already having to deal with a man trying to get my address.
Bob!
GIRL WHAT? That isn’t what i meant and you know it, Y/n
Y/n
Yes, i know what you meant, bob. I’m just joking lol
Y/n
I live in London! What about you?
Bob!
Monaco
Y/n
Shit, girl. You’re rich asf?
Bob!
NO nah nah nah. Y/n, I literally work as a server here. I enjoy the glamor tho
Y/n
Oh… so no diamond necklaces :( You could’ve been my sugar daddy, bob.
Bob!
😭
Y/n
No i joke I JOKE i can buy my own damn diamond necklaces
Bob!
Of course you can, Y/n. I’m not surprised.
Her heart warms at his portrayed support, and even though her bank account is in the negative, she likes to think Bob believes in her just as Annie does. Maybe he actually did.
She shakes her head at her thoughts. I’ve known him for a day, she thinks. He shouldn’t already mean this much to her. She doesn’t even know him.
Y/n
Ty, bob :) I have to go though. I have so much to get done today.
Bob!
Ok! text me when you’re free?
Y/n
yesss
There is a small void in Y/n’s body as she unlocks the front door of her apartment. A day of being broken down has taken its toll on her. Usually, it doesn’t get to her, the stress and pressure of it all, but today, as she flops down onto her ratty couch, part of her wants to give up.
Her phone buzzes underneath her leg.
Bob!
Are you free yet?? It’s been all day, y/n!!!
Y/n
sry, i just got home.
Bob!
Just now? Didn’t you leave at like 9:30 this morn??
Y/n
yeah
Bob!
Y/n, its 10:45 at night for you
Y/n
that would be correct… how did you know that?? Tracking my time zone, Robert?
Bob!
you might be scared to hear I have London saved on my world clock so I can see it at all times
Y/n
thats love fr
Y/n
but yeah its been a long day
Bob!
oh, well, im sorry :( how are you? Tired?
Y/n
Yeah, definitely. Just a hard day in general.
Bob!
Talk to me about it then <3
Her face blushes before the color is being forced back beneath her face. She doesn’t know this man enough to tell him all her sorrows. He’s just being nice.
Y/n
it’s ok. Thank you tho bob
Bob!
Who else are you planning to talk to abt it then?
Y/n
no one?
Bob!
you need to talk about it y/n to let it go. Talk to me.
Y/n
We barely know each other.
Bob!
Do i look like i care?
She laughs and types,
Y/n
Bob, I don’t even know what you look like
Bob!
We’ll fix that someday :) Now talk to me about everything
Y/n takes a breath before her fingers begin flying across the keyboard.
Y/n
People are just mean. I try so hard everyday to give my all and my best effort, to not let people down, but I seem to still do it. I can’t quite get things right and my boss is suffocating me with the way he looms over me like I can't hold my own. It makes me think I can't. There’s no room for mistakes or excuses, you have to be perfect in the office i work and i will never be that. There’s this other girl who holds my same position yet she does it so much better. I will never hold a candle to her and I know that. She’s everything I want to be because she accomplishes everything I can't. My boss knows it, everyone knows it, and it makes me feel like an outsider. I can’t share certain memories with these people or fit in quite right because I haven't been able to achieve the same success as they have. I know I’m just starting out and I have the rest of my life to surpass them, but what if I can't? What if I am never able to gain a good understanding and I am constantly behind?
There are tears pooling in her eyes as she relives the moments of her day when certain tasks were given to this girl she envies, Sam, while her boss gave her a look that had her close to quitting on the spot. Sam gets to revel in the future while Y/n stays in terror of it. A career path she has wanted all her life taunting her.
Bob!
I can relate to that. I can understand the feeling of seeing everyone around you get something you want so dearly while you share the same tools they do and yet you still come up empty. But I’ve also learned that good things come with time and we can’t always be yearning for something that isn’t meant to happen right now. What’s meant to happen will happen for you, I’m sure of it, Y/n. I know it’s hard to not be jealous or feel inadequate, but you just have to make peace with the fact that you try your best and that’s enough. You’re a good person, Y/n. All the good will come to you.
There’s something in his words that makes her feel heard and for once, Y/n finds peace in another’s reassurance. She doesn’t want to think about what that means toward who Bob is to her.
Y/n
Thank you. That means a lot.
Bob!
Of course. I wish I would’ve had someone telling me that when I was experiencing it.
Y/n
When were you experiencing it?
Bob!
A few years ago. But, that doesn’t matter.
Y/n
You’re always vague, bob. Give me something please? I’ve told you so much.
Bob!
There’s not much to tell, Y/n.
Y/n
You’re a server. Is that something you want to do for the rest of your life?
Bob!
I don’t know. I’m still figuring it out.
Y/n
VAGUE
Bob!
Ok, okkk!! I don’t want to be a server for the rest of my life. I think I’d like to work in Formula One. I’ve always loved racing and cars, the thrill of speed and all that. Trying to be Max Verstappen fs
Her eyes twinkle,
Y/n
Haha yeah right brotha
Y/n
That’s great tho! I think you’d be great in Formula One, Bob. I’ve heard of it but not a huge fan. It seems boring.
Bob!
Damn, shitting on my favorite thing… but thank you, Y/n. I think I’d be great too.
Y/n
You know i didn’t mean it that way!! What about your family?
Bob!
If you’re gonna ask me all these questions, should we just call?? Might be easier haha
She stares at his text for a moment, only a few seconds, before his contact name is large on her screen as his call awaits her answer. She clicks the green button and puts the phone to her ear, suddenly nervous to hear his voice for the first time.
“Y/n?” His deep, husky tone fills her ears and the truth of his identity begins to genuinely reign true. His voice is none of some old, slimy man. She could see it fitting someone younger, handsome even. Part of her even wants to say he sounds familiar.
She breathes, “Bob?”
There’s a silence that passes between them, a line crossed in the random relationship they’d surprisingly developed. Rustling sounds from Bob’s end, sheets moving before Y/n adds to the commotion, her heels falling to the floor once she pushes them off.
“Are you going to ask me about my family?” He asks, a hint of laughter in his voice.
Y/n giggles, “Tell me about your family, Bob.”
He lets out a small noise of confirmation, “Well, I have two sisters and a brother. A mom and dad. Still married. I don’t know, what do you want to know?”
The two laugh together at his sudden loss of words before Y/n speaks, “Uh, tell me about your parents. Any crazy love stories in the family?”
“No, they got together relatively normal. They’ve been together since they were younger and they’re still in love to this day. They set up a great example for me.”
Y/n rises from her couch, putting Bob on speaker, and moving into her bedroom to get ready for the end of the night. His voice echoes off the walls of the glistening white walls of her bathroom as she asks him more questions about his siblings and relatives. The way he speaks so highly of them makes the pull to him she feels stronger. Something about him seems too good to be true, but she wouldn’t say that out loud. She believes too much in the power of a jinx.
Bob somehow changes the conversation to her, asking her further about her job and her worries. It’s scary how easy it feels to open up to him, things she had a hard time even telling Annie. Maybe it’s the anonymity of him, the elusiveness of the man she truly doesn’t know. However, none of that matters wholly as she lays in bed, eyes trained on the fan above going in circles as she talks about insecurities she’s had since she was a kid.
“It’s hard to know what traits you truly hold, you know? I can be the sweetest to one person, but horribly mean to another. I don’t want people to think I’m armed with ill intent. Sometimes things just don’t come out the way I want.” She whispers, arms sitting heavy over her stomach.
Bob sighs, “It’s scary how much we share in common. I’ve felt that way too many times before. You can never be too careful with your words and it just hits so hard when people don’t understand who you truly are at your core. If they did, they wouldn’t think I was saying something with malice.”
She smiles to herself. It’s as if he lives in her head. “I don’t think you’d mean anything malicious, Bob.”
He chuckles, “I don’t think you’d mean anything malicious either, Y/n.”
The quietness of her name on his lips brings her closer to sleep and it’s the way he begins to ramble about how much he loves to talk to her that sends her over the edge, a warmness accompanying her body to sleep.
Bob keeps talking for a few minutes before her silence is deafening and he realizes what’s happened. Still, he talks, traumas and all, because something about knowing she’s there makes him not want to hang up.
🏎️
“So, you’ve been talking to this guy for how long?” Annie questions, her eyebrows pulled together just as they always have while she stares bewilderedly at Y/n.
“Three weeks,” She replies, a message from Bob appearing on her screen just as they utter his name.
Annie stares at her, “And you don’t know what he looks like?”
Y/n shakes her head lightly, “No…”
Annie scoffs, “Y/n! That’s so stupid! He could be stalking you for all we know!”
“No! He’s not stalking me, Annie. I think I know him now, really. In the beginning, no, but we call all the time and we talk about anything and everything. He’s sweet and he’s everything I’ve ever been looking for in a guy.” Y/n is quick to defend, her phone in her hands as Bob calls her.
Annie glances down to the ringing phone, “Is that him?”
Her challenging look makes Y/n nod slowly. Annie lurches forward and Y/n yelps just as her best friend yanks the phone out of her hands and answers the call.
“ANNIE!” Y/n yells, grasping for the phone while Annie just moves away.
Bob’s voice meets Annie’s ears, “Y/n?”
“This is Annie, Y/n’s best friend. I’d like to know your address and full name, seeing as my beloved friend has not gotten that information yet.” She demands, eyes glancing toward Y/n as she awaits the man’s answer.
Bob stutters, “Uh, my name is Robert Dancing. I live in Monaco.”
Annie shakes her head, “No, I’m talking address. Like, 12345 Hemingway Street.”
Bob laughs, “Can I just talk to Y/n?” There’s a hint of anxiousness in his voice that sends Annie into a manic spiral.
“No, tell me where you live.” She fires back.
“Annie!” Y/n tries again, grabbing onto Annie’s sweatshirt to pull her closer. When she’s within reach, Y/n reaches for the phone and snatches it back, much to Annie’s dismay.
Y/n apologizes, “Bob, I’m so sorry. Annie’s a little insane.”
He laughs and it lingers around her heart, “It’s okay. Just call me later, yeah?”
She nods and murmurs confirmation before hanging up. She turns to look at her best friend, a rare moment of betrayal. “Why would you do that?” She asks, annoyance radiating off of her.
Annie crosses her arms, “Because, Y/n! You don’t know this man.”
Y/n groans, “Yes, I do! Also, getting to know him by demanding his address seems satisfactory to you?”
“You’re being stupid, Y/n! I’m just looking out for you!” She raises her voice, anger getting in the way of truly getting her point across.
Y/n shakes her head, “Looking out for me would be trusting me when I ask that of you! You just completely went against everything I asked of you! I asked for support, not outraged behavior!”
Annie’s face drops, “You don’t get it! Y/n, you do not know this man! You didn’t even know his last name until I asked for you yet you’ve apparently told him all of your secrets?!”
Y/n begins to pack her purse in a moment of fury, “No, Annie, you don’t get it!”
As she stands at the cusp of the front door, Annie yells back at her, “Stop falling in love with someone you can’t trust!”
Y/n closes the door shut, a huff coming from her lips as she storms down the stairs, tears down her face. To have her best friend question her judgment regarding someone who means so much to her hurts immensely. Though, what hurts worse is knowing she might be right.
Max almost looks perplexed when Lando hangs up the phone.
“Robert Dancing? What the hell kind of name is that?” He teases, a patronizing tone.
Lando shakes his head, “I didn’t know what else to say! Dancing was the first thing that came to my head!”
Max crosses his arms over his chest, “Are you ever planning on telling this woman who you really are?”
Lando’s mouth opens and falls closed, at a loss for words, “I don’t know. I want to, but I know she’ll run. I don’t blame her. I’ve lied about fundamental things.” There’s a crease in his forehead as he continues, “I can’t lose her. I’m too addicted to the way she makes me feel.”
Max sighs, “I hate to say it, but you might, Lan. You told her you were a completely different person, betrayed her trust in an insane way. You’ve got something special, that counts for something, but you need to be prepared for the possibility of her never being able to find it in herself to forgive you. I don’t want you to get your hopes up and get hurt.”
“I won’t. I know the risks of what I’ve done, but I can’t take it back now. I just need to find the time to tell her. I will tell her and I’ll do it in a coherent, calm way.” He tries, but the two of them know he’s already gotten his hopes up. Max looks at him with faux confidence, knowing Lando’s found himself with someone it’ll cut deep to let go of.
Lando knows it too, knows the kind of pain that’ll shred through him if she leaves because of his mistake. It’s ironic in the way that a lie, one so unnecessary, is the thing that plagues his mind at night even as Y/n’s voice puts him to sleep.
🏎️
There’s a nagging in Y/n’s brain that pushes her to get out from under the covers of her bed and find her desk in the dark of the night. She sits in the chair with a creak before opening her laptop and the random browser she’s had tabs open in for days on end.
Her fingers however over the keys before typing in a dreaded question of truth.
“Robert Dancing.” She whispers as she presses enter and the screen begins to load. Her stomach churns and her eyes whip away, too scared to look. What would she do if nothing came up? What if Annie was right? What if Bob wasn’t who she thought he was after all?
But, then, his voice calls her back to the safety of her blind trust as it rings throughout her brain. He seems too nice to be what Annie had thought him to be. Bob is who she thinks he is, he has to be.
Her gaze takes one more look at the picture of her and Annie on her nightstand before she turns her head fully to find out her fate.
A blank screen with the haunting words, “Sorry, we couldn’t find what you were looking for.” stares back at her. For a moment, she thinks she must’ve spelled his name wrong and she tries multiple, very clearly wrong, versions of what his name could be in an attempt to console the last of hope dwindling out of her body.
Bob. A name in her mouth that now means nothing takes on what she had originally thought it had been. A fake name.
This can’t be, she thinks. There has to be some logical explanation. But, then again, Robert Dancing is not a typical name, something should come up for a server who lives in Monaco. A link to his social media would’ve shown. He’s young and living in Europe, there would be a trace of him.
Robert Dancing does not exist.

Unknown
Y/n, you never called me back. Is everything okay?
Y/n
Everything is fine.
Unknown
Can I call you now?
Y/n
I’m busy.
Unknown
It’s been three days and I haven’t heard from you at all. Seriously, are you okay?
Unknown
Y/n, answer me. What’s going on?
Y/n
Stop messaging me.
Her body jolts in surprise when her phone rings aggressively against the desk at her work. She looks around sheepishly at her staring coworkers before grabbing the loud device and walking outside. The moment the door shuts behind her, she answers.
Bob speaks so quickly, “Y/n, what’s going on?”
She stares at the skyline, trying to find peace in the view, “What’s your name?”
Bob is quiet, “Robert Dancing. You know this.”
“No, I don’t. What’s your name?” She tries again, anger in her voice and sadness deep in her soul.
“Bob.” He states, breaking her heart once more.
Y/n scoffs, “I know that’s not your name. If you don’t start telling me the truth right now, I will hang up and block you.”
A door closes on his side and she hears him take a breath, “Okay, okay. Don’t do that. How’d you find out?”
A dry laugh leaves her mouth, mixed with astonishment, “Do you think I’m stupid?! You gave me what was supposed to be your full name, so I searched you up. Choose a name that actually comes up next time, yeah?”
“Y/n, I’m so sorry. You told me you would never think I meant malice by my actions. That should apply here.” He tries, but she just shakes her head.
“That was back when I thought I knew at least your name. Who ever are you? Do you even live in Monaco? Was any of it true?” She cries, somewhat surprised at the tears that have appeared.
He sounds disappointed, “Yes, it all was. I do live in Monaco and I have three other siblings. My parents are still married. All the things I told you were true, my doubts and insecurities. That wasn’t fake, Y/n.”
She pulls herself together, not ready to break down for a man so cruel, and wipes her tears, “What’s your name?”
“Y/n, I-”
She interrupts, determined, “What’s your name?”
A build up manifests from the silence he lets go on before he answers her dying question, “Lando Norris.”
Part of her was expecting him to say a name she would’ve recognized, but no part of her has any reaction to him. His name is just another one she wished to have been able to connect to another human being.
He takes her silence for realization and his body slumps against the wall behind him. Part of him knows she won’t, but another part worries she’ll take their situation and everything he’s told her to the press.
What she says next completely contradicts everything he built up in his head, “You act like that’s supposed to mean anything to me.”
With that, she hangs up the phone.
Annie and Y/n haven’t spoken since their fight a week ago, but the betrayal of it is pushed aside when Annie opens the door to find Y/n crying at her door.
No words are shared, Annie understands, and Y/n is ushered into the home, coaxed by her best friend to sit on the couch.
“What happened?” She whispers, her hand rubbing over Y/n’s back. Annie hates to see her best friend in such brokenness, even in a moment where she could tell her I told you so. That would do no one good, Annie knows that. Y/n doesn’t need to be proven wrong right now, she needs someone to sit with her when no one else seemingly won’t.
A sharp intake of breath and Y/n speaks, “He wasn’t who he said he was. Robert Dancing doesn’t exist. His actual name is Lando Norris. As if that means anything. Why would he lie?”
Annie cocks her head because it doesn’t make sense. Why would he lie? Lying about your life to make it seem more interesting than it was would make sense, but to blatantly lie completely about your identity? That didn’t make sense.
“Have you searched him up? Maybe it’s supposed to mean something?” She tries, genuinely lost at the situation.
Y/n shakes her head, tears falling to her lap as she hangs her head, “If I do and I see him, I don’t want to know. I already like him too much and that makes this hurt more than it should. If I see him, learn who he truly is, I’m scared I’ll never be able to let him go.”
Annie frowns, part of her wants to know about the man that put her friend in such a state. But, it’s not what Y/n needs as she cries on the beige couch. Her head fits in the crook of Annie’s shoulder as the girl turns on mindless TV for her friend.
Still, though, Annie knew she would find herself investigating Lando Norris later when Y/n fell asleep.
It’s ironic how similar Y/n and Annie look when they scour the internet for information about a specific man. Annie has a bit of blanket pulled over her lap as Y/n hogs the majority of it, the rise and fall of her chest a telltale sign of needed slumber.
The face of Lando Norris stares back at her as she tries to think of this man calling her best friend at night, asking questions no one has before. He seemed bubbly in the few moments she spoke to him and when she clicks on a video of him in an interview, she knows immediately it's him. His voice is distinct as it speaks through a clear microphone. There were no lies in his second confession to Y/n.
From what she can tell, he’s a beloved member of the Formula One community, a sport she had never truly looked into because she assumed it was overrated. So, did Y/n. The off chance that Lando texted a random person and found something more with them, he lucked out that that someone was clueless when it came to the sport that made him famous.
Her breathing stops when she finds a video that titles Lando’s supposed telling of a woman he’s taken a liking to. The date of the video tells her it’s within the time frame of him and Y/n.
She glances at her sleeping best friend before clicking the link, his smiling face large on her screen.
Lando’s giggle is sweet, “Yeah, I guess you could say I’ve found someone. Or, at least, have a crush. This girl and I are definitely not official, but there’s something there, I think we can both feel it. I’ve never felt so free with someone.”
The reporter, out of view from the watcher, coos, “That’s great, Lando! What’s her name?”
Lando gives the man a warning glance as he states authoritatively, “I won’t be handing that information right now.”
He clutches the microphone and Annie can see the way his body shifts with protectiveness. If anything, this is exactly the kind of way she had always wanted Y/n to be treated. Protected and cherished. From what she could gather, from the deepdive of articles and the stories Y/n had told, Lando did just that.
Her heart aches. A stupid man tried to protect himself whilst falling in love with a woman that never even knew who he was. They were never even given a chance.
Somehow, in a black out of pure sadness for Y/n who had always yearned to be adored in this way, Annie found herself buying a ticket to the next Grand Prix, Silverstone of all places.
With a crappy seat and no plan or guarantee of finding him, Annie knew she had to find Lando. She had to fight for something that wasn’t even hers.
🏎️
The commotion of fans surrounding the entrance to the paddock puts Annie on edge, not to mention the size of the crowd. She thought she got here early, wanting to be at the front so she could try and talk to him, but as she sees the large amount of people between her and the path where the drivers walk, hope diminishes. Still, she pushes through everyone, apologizing when she gets dirty looks. She knows how bad this looks, how much this most likely goes against common courtesy at races such as these. The face of Y/n with bloodshot eyes and a puffy face forces her to persevere, her best friend deserves someone like Lando.
She’s halfway through the crowd when it roars to life, screams emitting as people begin to stick McLaren hats and posters in the air. From the sliver of light she can see through some bodies, Annie watches Lando begin to walk through. He stops to sign for some fans and she pushes more forcefully, knowing this is her only chance.
He moves through it all with grace, but a certain speed that makes her heart pick up. He’s at the front of the crowd, about to step into the paddock and be lost completely to her when she yells, “Lando! It’s Annie!”
It’s the first thing that she can think of, hoping he’ll be reminded of Y/n’s voice when she tried to cover for her best friend’s moment of protection. Annie watches him pause, turn around slowly, as his eyes roam over the sea of people. He locks eyes with her as she waves her arms in the air, something passes between them and he begins running toward her. A connection to the woman he let down, one he hadn’t stopped thinking of in the weeks she had left him.
When he reaches her, Lando is stunned by her presence. “You’re Annie? Like Y/n’s Annie?” He whispers, the people around her screaming for his signature as she nods her head.
“Y/n’s Annie.” He looks to be fighting tears as he ushers a security guard over. “I need you to escort her into the paddock, to my driver’s room.”
The large man nods and Lando walks off, nodding at Annie gratefully. Once he’s gone from the premises, the guard moves the rope keeping people from bombarding the drivers up and lets her through.
The walk to wherever Lando had ordered is quiet as Annie takes in the money that surrounds her. People with Cartier jewelry and Birkens waltz around with an air to them that allows Annie to suddenly understand Lando. This is what he was afraid of. A greedy woman who would take advantage of the status he had and lie to him to get to his money and the money around him. While she understood, however, she still felt angry at his deceiving. Y/n was never given the benefit of the doubt.
The guard knocks on Lando’s door and it swings open, his sunken face coming into view and in the new light, Annie can see the love that Lando had found in her best friend. The effect of her leaving him is seen all over his body and from what she could gather during her time looking into him, he wasn’t doing as well as he usually had during races.
He motions for her to come in and when she does, the door closed, he begins talking, “Did Y/n send you here? Is she here? Can I talk to her? Does she want to see me? Is she forgiving me? Are you-”
Her heart breaks as she interrupts him and his quick anticipation of a reconciliation is crushed, “None of that is true. I’m here on my own terms. Y/n doesn’t know I’m here. At this point in time, she doesn’t want to see you, but I think that’s the shock of finding out about you.. That will wear off eventually. She’s hurt, Lando, but I also know she hates not talking to you. She hasn’t stopped talking about you. And I can’t stand to know that you two found something she’s always deserved, but let it slip away because of fears and betrayals.”
He sits opposite of her, staring at her and trying to find the answers he wants to hear in her eyes. He never does.
Lando rubs his palms over his eyes, “I never even got her last name. There was no way for me to find her.”
“Y/n Y/l/n.”
He lifts his head slowly, “What?”
At the look in his eyes, Annie smiles, “Y/n Y/l/n. That’s her last name. Actually, her full name, I guess.”
A small grin finds its way to Lando’s face and the way he touches his mouth lightly makes her think he hasn’t smiled in a while. “Y/n Y/l/n,” He whispers, smile widening as it all falls from his lips.
He’s even in love with her name, Annie thinks.
“Can you take me to her? I would like to be given the opportunity to fight for her.” He asks hesitantly, as if Annie hasn’t made it abundantly clear that she is here to help.
She nods, “I will tell you where to meet her, but first, I need you to tell me everything from the beginning, from your perspective.”
Lando’s head hangs and he begins, hands wringing together in his lap, “When I first texted her, I thought she was my friend, Daniel.”
“Daniel Ricciardo?” She asks, clarification needed for this story.
Lando’s eyebrows rise, “You know the sport?”
She shakes her head, “No, both Y/n and I never got into it because we didn’t think it was that exciting - sorry - but, I basically learned everything about your life and Formula One when Y/n told me your name.”
He nods and continues, “Well, yes, I thought she was Daniel Ricciardo, we were supposed to be meeting for lunch that day to just catch up before starting the new season. Well, as it turns out, he had changed his phone number over break because it leaked and never told anyone that he wasn’t needing to contact immediately during that time. I assume Y/n must’ve gotten a new number around the time because she got his.”
Annie thinks back before realizing Y/n had shattered her phone in the weeks before and ended up getting an entire new cell phone profile. New number, email, everything. She had said she liked the clean slate.
At her nodding, Lando talks once more, “When she sent me the picture of her, I immediately thought she was one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen in my entire life. That’s cliche, but it’s true. She’s still so beautiful to me. Um,” He shakes his head, tears having pooled in his eyes at the mention of her beauty, “I knew I wanted to keep talking to her, see where it went because I couldn’t just stop talking to her and never knew what could’ve been. So, I made a quick, impulsive decision. I lied about who I was because I just wanted her to treat me normally. I had no idea who she was or her morals, I couldn’t guarantee that she would treat me like everyone else. Obviously, when I learned of who she was and the deep parts of her that no one else got to see, I wanted to change it all. I wanted to tell her so many times who I was and what I wanted with her, what I saw with her, but I knew if I did, I would just lose her. So, I tried to find ways to keep talking to her, but also slowly introduce the truth. Clearly, I never found a way. When you called me, demanding my address and full name I panicked and didn’t think about what would happen if I said what was supposed to be my full name. You’re very scary, you know.” He chuckles, Annie does with him, “So, it all fell from there. She found out Robert Dancing was something entirely fabricated and she called me, telling me to tell her the truth. I was backed into a corner and everything I wanted, I needed, left me. That moment is ingrained in my brain.”
He breathes slowly, his eyes still on his hands, before whispering, “I miss her.”
Annie nods, “I know. So does she. That’s why you need to go to this address,” She hands him a small paper, “Meet her there on Monday at 7 PM, come prepared to tell her all of that and more.”
He clutches the paper like it’s his last lifeline and Annie smiles at how important Y/n is to him.
Lando glances up at her, “What do you mean by more?”
Annie continues to smile lightly, “That you love her. That you need her. That you’re sorry. Lando, remind her of what you two had.”
🏎️
The small apartment complex is daunting to Lando as he stands in front of it. Annie never told him where he was going or what he would be met with, but considering he’s here to see Y/n, he can only assume the building he stares at is her home. His anxiety only spikes. He does not want to mess up again. He doesn’t want to taint her home with even more pain, he thinks to himself, images of himself groveling and begging for her forgiveness flashing in his mind’s eye.
Nonetheless, he knows if he backs out, Annie would find his address this time and physically harm him.
So, the boy walks to the gate and rings her neighbor, following Annie’s instructions closely. He remembered how she told him if he rang Y/n, she wouldn’t let him in, being stubborn and all. Though, if he rang the neighbor, an older woman Annie called Lo, he had a chance.
“Hello? I’m here to see Y/n.” He said into the rusty speaker, a questionable smell infiltrating his nose.
A crackling sound emits from it before Lo is speaking back to him, “Are you Robert Dancing? Annie told me you would be coming.”
Lando laughs at the name, his random ideas being the reason for it, and murmurs a yes to her. She doesn’t say anything back, just a loud buzzing noise that tells him the door is unlocked.
When he walks through, part of him groans at the lack of an elevator. For an athlete, the man is lazy.
Thus, he begins his scale to the top floor, cursing himself for falling in love with someone who lives so high up.
He’s almost completely lost to his thoughts that he doesn’t realize Y/n’s door stands in his way once his feet hit the doormat. It dawns on him the time has come to meet her in person, having never before. It should be studied, he thinks, how he’s fallen in love with her without ever truly seeing her.
He knocks on the door, not wasting time before he truly aborts whatever mission he’s found himself on. And his heart soars when he hears her yell, “Coming!”
He’s only ever heard it over the phone. To hear it feet away from him is almost as exciting as the idea of her forgiving him.
The door unlocks and pulls open, revealing Y/n in a matching set of pajamas that he remembers her texting him about, asking if they were a stupid purchase or not. He told her to get them, she told him probably not, that she was poor, but she still had.
Her eyes land on him and he’s ready for whatever screaming he’s about to endure, but she just smiles at him.
“Hi! Can I help you with anything?” She acts as if she doesn’t recognize him and Lando realizes she doesn’t. Annie had mentioned something about Y/n becoming disinterested in seeing who he truly was, out of fear of becoming too attached. His mind must’ve not genuinely absorbed that information because he only understands it now.
She doesn’t know who he is.
He could do the same thing he had before, lie and tell her he’s someone else. Take the safer option and secure her love, but he takes a breath instead and remembers all Annie had told him. He’d already put her through so much, to do it again would be cruel.
“Y/n, I’m Lando.” He says while he watches her face fall.
Her hands fly to the door, about to slam it on his face, but he sticks his foot in right before she can. The impact hurts, but he continues with what he had practiced so many times on the way here.
“Please, Y/n, just hear me out.” He pleads as her cheeks fill with red. He’s almost sure it isn’t a blush.
“How’d you even get my address?” She says, astonished at who stands before her. Her eyes fall over his body, trying to understand the information. Who he is, what he wants.
“Annie.” He whispers, knowing her confusion will only heighten more.
Her mouth falls open and she yells, “ANNIE?!”
What he believes to be Lo, pops out from her behind her door at the yelling and Lando lowers his head.
“Can I come in? We shouldn’t have this conversation in the hallway of your complex.” He rubs a hand over the back of his neck, hoping she’ll agree. When she does, opening the door for him slowly, he flies forward. While he was ecstatic to be given another chance, he still fears for his image and what would be speculated about a seemingly heated conversation between him and another woman.
She guides him to the couch and they sit down. A familiar creak sounds that reminds him of the ones he would hear when they got into deep conversation during their nighttime calls. The image of her on the phone with him, concentration on her face as she listened to whatever he was revealing and getting comfortable on her sofa, makes him smile softly.
“Bo- I mean, Lando, you need to start talking. I don’t have all the time in the world to listen.” She gives, her tone ice cold. However, the break in it when she realizes she’s said his former, fake name makes the anger he felt over his lies further. He wants her to say his name, the real one. He wants her to say it with love and excitement, not distance. He wants her and his name on her lips.
“I never meant to hurt you. Actually, what I did was in an attempt to shield myself from any kind of bad faith. I didn’t expect to develop what he did. I didn’t even expect to open up to you in the way I did. I thought I could make a friend, one who didn’t know who I was and didn’t have any kind of bias toward me. I’ve always wanted that with someone, especially a partner. I saw an opportunity and I took it, not thinking through it all and I hurt you in the process. I’m so sorry, Y/n. From the moment we started truly talking, calling and all, I knew I had messed up, but I never found a way to tell you. Well, a way to tell you that wouldn’t result in you getting rid of me. I wish I could take it all back, but not you. Not what I got to experience with you, what I felt with you. You’re my favorite memory and you’ll never understand how grateful I am for you. You helped me through bad races even when you didn’t know, helped me through weird press interactions when you didn’t know. I loved that. I loved how at peace you made me feel. I can’t let this go without knowing I gave it everything I have and when Annie showed up at Silverstone, telling me I had to fight for you, I took whatever she had to give.”
Y/n stares at him, trying to digest it all, and murmurs, “Annie went to Silverstone?”
He chuckles lightly, “Yes, she came and she told me who she was, what she was doing there. She told me she knew what we had and she didn’t want you to lose something you’ve always deserved. She gave me this address and told me to come here at this time, told me to buzz Lo instead of you so I could come in. She told me I needed to remind you of what we had.”
Y/n goes red again, blushing this time. She smiles at the idea of Annie going to great lengths just to make her happy, “Annie sounds determined.”
Lando smiles along with her, “She was. She told me if I didn’t fight for you, she’d find me and kill me. She’s really scary, Y/n.”
Their eyes meet and Y/n is reminded of what once was, the way he made her feel. She misses him and knowing the intricate shade of brown in his eyes doesn’t help how much she wants to shut him out.
“I understand why you did what you did, but that doesn’t make it any better. You could’ve given up everything you were saying at any point in time and you didn’t. You only told me when I confronted you with it.” She whispers, disappointment evident in her voice. She plays with her fingers and Lando is close to taking them in his hand.
He nods, “I get that. But, I was scared to tell you because I was just so in love with you. I still am.”
Her eyes snap to his and a moment passes before she asks, “Still am? You love me?”
His cheeks turn cherry tomato, “Yes, of course, I am. The moment I realized you were safe enough to open up to, knowing my identity or not, I was in love with you.”
She groans and lets her face fall to her palms, “But, I’m in love with you too.”
He laughs and shakes his head, “Why is that a bad thing?”
Her eyes peek from over her hands, “Because I want to hate you.”
Finally, his fingers lace with hers as he brings them away from her face, “But, you love me. Isn’t that enough?”
She knows it is. He knows it is. Annie knows it is, even if she isn’t there. It’s a matter of if Y/n can put aside the grand web of lies he put together to let them have their shot at something that could be wonderful. In the warmth of his presence, she thinks she can.

She picks up his call as she closes the door behind her, the new office building she’s in allowing for a wider view of London. The new team she works with is less competitive than the last and their support is proving beneficial with the news she got today.
“My beloved girlfriend, are you free for lunch today?” Lando giggles into the speaker like the lovesick man he is. Y/n can hear Oscar make fun of him in the background.
She smiles, “I thought you were bored?”
“Yes, so now I’m asking if you want to have lunch with me” He answers as if it’s obvious. In the months after the soft moment shared between Lando and Y/n on her old couch, they’ve found something more than love between them. Lando says it’s destiny and Y/n says it’s a soulmate tie, but they agree that the love they once shared over the phone only grew once in person.
Y/n chuckles at his antics, “Sure, I will have lunch with you, Lan. Can you come pick me up though? I don’t want to drive.”
Lando makes a noise, “What did you think I was going to do? Make you drive yourself? No way. There’s one person in this relationship that drives cars professionally and it’s not you, sweetheart. Sorry to break it to you.”
Oliver, her coworker, comes to the door, asking for her assistance on something with a smile. She tells him she’ll be a minute and he nods, retreating back into the office quietly, “Sorry, my love. I need to go. But, you’ll be here when?”
Lando hums, “An hour?”
“Perfect! Oh, and, Lando?” She asks, her voice filled with joy as he responds, “You’ll have to come to the Junior VP’s office to pick me up.”
Silence is met with her sentence before Lando whispers, “Either I’m stupid and you have some big project I forgot about or you’re trying to tell me something that will actually make me lose my mind and sanity right now.”
She laughs loudly, “I got Junior VP, Lan. Youngest one yet.”
He shrieks, momentarily making Y/n go deaf, before screaming to everyone around him about his girlfriend’s achievement, “I’m so proud of you, baby! Oh my god! I’m so happy! We need to buy champagne! You can have your own podium moment! Holy shit, I’m so proud!”
“I would love that, Lan. Thank you. I love you.” She whispers the last part softly, three words that mean so much.
He’ll never get tired of hearing her speak of her love for him, “I love you too, Y/n.”
She’d never get tired of saying it.

I got both my flu and covid shot yesterday so today I'm feeling. bad. lmao. But I also saw two movies and had fun at them both!
I'll make posts about both of them, but I guess I'll start with A Haunting in Venice because I have more thoughts about it, I think.
My non-spoilery thoughts are that I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! The ambiance was impeccable and I think I'd watch it again just to look at it. It was very pleasantly spooky, more than I'd expected, and despite not having watched the other films, I was able to easily follow along. A lot of the acting was super fun, and Michelle Yeoh was really hot, and it was a spooky ghost story! What more could you want?
(Except subtitles, I guess, because I missed a lot of dialogue. Much more than I usually do. Kenneth Branagh's fake French accent was particularly difficult to decipher.)
Two personal things, which I thought were funny. The children's song heard repeatedly in the movie, Giro Giro Tondo, creeped me out specifically because my mother gave me a doll when I was little that she'd gotten in Italy during a business trip, and when you held its hands it sang that song. I... have a bit of a doll phobia, so I did have a moment of OH NO, IT'S THIS BITCH.
The other is that I was able to figure out the mystery very quickly because of my own special interests, which was very funny to me. I'm sorry that I am too much the target audience for this movie. ;; More on that in a minute.
spoilers below the cut
It was interesting to hear after watching the movie that the original book took place in the UK because the central spookiness of the film did feel very Italian. The old ruined palazzo, the ruinous aftereffects of the Holocaust in Central Europe, the general Vibe. But most of the main characters aren't Italian, so I suppose it makes sense...
It was definitely much darker than I had expected it to be, from a human cruelty standpoint. The allusions to the Holocaust (both when discussing Dr. Ferrier's severe PTSD after liberating Bergen-Belsen and the Romani siblings who were orphaned and forced into very dire straits to survive) were very frank and graphically discussed, which isn't something you actually see in films as often these days, and the fact that impoverished orphan children really were purposefully murdered during the plague had... very familiar vibes after being from a high-risk (and easily dismissed) group during covid.
In the end, the movie ended up being as much about metaphorical ghosts as literal ones, and I can see how a writer struggling with her wartime experiences as a nurse would end up writing a story that so blatantly grapples with the soul of humanity -- and whether it's worth protecting. The medium comparing hearing the ghosts screaming to her time as a nurse during the war treating the suffering... It does make me think about Christie's own experiences, y'know? I haven't read the book, so idk how much of it was invented for the movie, but... it did make me think about her.
As for the mystery itself... I guess there are two things to know about me. One is that I studied mithridatism (and Mithridates himself) when writing fic for Arsenic and Old Lace for YT many years ago. The other is that I wrote an original f/f fic about poisonous beekeeping around the same period. It wasn't my best work, necessarily, but I'll tell you -- I know a lot about mad honey.
So let's just say that the suspense wasn't quite as suspenseful for me lmao. From the second that one woman say "Mithridates" I was pretty ready for what was coming next, and when I saw that she kept bees and everyone kept eating honey... I mean. lmao
That said, the fact that it was very difficult to tell whether the ghostly apparitions were hallucinations or real or some combination of the two was really fun and interesting.
With Christie's Thing for poisons... I guess it's interesting how much fo the movie was about food and hunger and how food can kill you if it's not the right kind -- and how love could go the same way. The discussion of the camp survivors in Germany dying after being given milk, the children being intentionally walled up and starved to death, the siblings eating "non-food", like mice, in order to survive after being orphaned during the war... And obviously the poisoned tea from a mother whose love itself had been poisoned.
And then, y'know, the metaphor flourishing when you see how love itself, twisted into madness, was the reason why so many people had suffered and died. Rowena's fear that her daughter would leave her, Alicia's agony that her fiancé had, Olga accidentally poisoning a child she loved because she was trying to soothe her, Ferrier accidentally poisoning the concentration camp survivors when trying to nurse them back to health, Leopold's desperate attempts to protect and support his father being the exact thing that got him killed...
I'm a little too tired to pull it together into a coherent thesis statement, but... The themes are layered here. Hunger for food and for love and for companionship. Poison being added to the things you think will nourish you and those you love. The desire to be seen, by those you love and those you respect and those who you fear have forgotten you...
You have Ariadne (great name for a spinner of mysteries, btw) using a friend in order to get back her adoring public. Both Maxim and Alicia desperate for the other's attention. Poor little Leo trying to soothe his father's PTSD and being parentified at far too young an age, but desperate to be seen for the marvel he is all at once.
And Alicia's ghost, obviously, reaching out to those she'd known in life and trying to get revenge on those who'd harmed her. She wanted to be seen, too, and she wanted to be understood.
I suppose that's what the whole movie comes down to. Love and understanding and the way it can be twisted horribly even as we crave it.
The movie wasn't perfect and I suspect the subject matter will be far too dark for people expecting something like Knives Out, but I did enjoy it far more than I thought it would. The vibes were genuinely very creepy and the mystery and characters were interesting. I haven't read the book, so I can't tell you how it stacks up there.
I think, sorry Kenneth Branagh, that his casting as Poirot was probably the weakest part of the movie for me. That said, the directing was so good that I at times found myself like "sir?? why not just direct these movies and let someone else play the lead????"
(see: the lin-manuel miranda effect)
But a lot of the other acting was very good, especially Michelle Yeoh who was very hot and very interesting in her role. Boy, I was SO sad when she was the first to die because I was like "OH NO, SHE WAS SO HOT..."
/shallow
Anyway, tl;dr it was a good movie for the spooky season, even if I suspect some of the subject matter will be difficult for people to handle. (Particularly the child death.) And even if you don't enjoy the writing, the footage of Venice and the overall vibes are impeccable so you can just turn off your brain and enjoy wandering through a spooky ruined palazzo.

Thinking about how in tmosth when everyone says their "Happy Birthday"s to Amy Tails gets the line "We love you, Amy"... Awwww... (Probably because from anyone else it would have been taken as shipbait. But still!)
And I also headcanon that Amy picked out everybody's roles herself (Even if she wasn't allowed to read the lore cards. It just makes sense to me because she just wanted to solve the mystery so it makes sense for her to pick the reporter (so she wouldn't accidentally be chosen as the murderer (or get murdered, it's not mentioned but it feels like the idea is that the journalist and the detective (in the plot of the game) are supposed to arrive after the deed is done since they can't interact with other characters before that while everyone else is supposed to mingle), plus it would allow her to basically wear anything she wanted to for the party).
And she picked Tails to be the detective so he wouldn't have to worry about being the murderer/murdered either, that's so sweet! (Maybe it's just a nice thing either way to give the youngest person at the party the easiest card though idk)

aro week 2024 reading challenge (with recommendations!)
i decided to only read books with arospec character during aro week, so i created a little challenge for it on storygraph! come join if you'd like <3
some recommendations (books that i have already read) under the cut! (this is by no means exhaustive, and there are a lot of books with characters that are both aro and ace bc i tend to read a lot of those. would love to hear your recommendations bc i do want to diversify what i read as well!)
main characters:
the priory of the orange tree & a day of fallen night (samantha shannon) - LOVE these books so much. both have a main pov character that is aroace. not explicitly labeled in the story bc it's fantasy but especially in adofn, it's really clear
vespertine (margaret rogerson) - ya, aroace mc, not explicitly stated on page but it's obvious imho
loveless (alice oseman) - is anybody surprised
tarnished are the stars (rosiee thor - all books have arospec characters) - ya, aroace MC, not one of my favorites but the rep is nice
common bonds - a short story collection with arospec characters everywhere (my favorites were "discography" & "a full deck")
the thread that binds (cedar mccloud) - this just the definition of cozy fantasy for me. multiple arospec characters (sorry i don't remember the actual identities and can't find info), qpr, found family, and so much more (there's also a prequel out now but i haven't read that one yet)
werecockroach (blake polenth) - idk what to say about this, cockroaches kidnap everyone except the mc and friends, aroace + agender mc
hazel's theory of evolution (lisa jenn bigelow) - middle grade, aroace mc but it's not the focus, really heartwarming "wish i had this when i was a kid" vibes
two dark moons & three seeking stars (avi silver) - ya, i LOVE these books, aroallo mc & found family but with lizards
baker thief (claudie arseneault - all books have arospec characters) - aroallo genderfluid mc, wasn't a big fan of the story but i really liked the characters
by your side (margherita scialla) - a queerplatonic short story, i'm not the biggest fan of short stories but it's about two people deciding to be in a qpr
convenience store woman (sayaka murata) - i'm not really sure if the mc is supposed to be aroace but that's how i read it. it's supposed to be funny but i thought it was depressing as fuck lol
elatsoe (darcie little badger) - ya, aroace native mc (it only explicitly says she's ace tho), this one was a lot of fun, it's basically a murder mystery in a really interesting world
goddess of the hunt (eileen shelby) - poetry collection about aroace artemis (we stan)
side and background characters:
summer of salt (katrina leno) - ya, very minor aroace character
sorcery of thorns & the mysteries of thorn manor (margaret rogerson) - ya, minor aro (aroace?) character (i have a special weakness for margaret rogerson bc i was at her book signing and told her i appreciated her writing aro/ace characters, and she wrote "aro/ace pride" in with my dedication lol)
aces wild (amanda dewitt) - ya, aroace sc, i LOVE him you don't understand. this is about a group of ace teens but gabe is my favorite, i would die for him. also i need amanda dewitt to write a million other books about these characters
hell followed with us (andrew joseph white) - ya, very minor aro character but this book is BRILLIANT, everybody should read it (after reading the trigger warnings)
wren martin ruins it all (amanda dewitt) - ya, mc is ace so that's the focus, but there's a side character who doesn't use labels and isn't interested in dating at all
a grim and sunken vow (ashley shutterworth) - ya, this is the third book in the series, demiromantic sc, absolutely loved his storyline (he appears in the first books as well but i hated him lmao)
and books i haven't read yet but am hoping to read during aro week (i'm therefore not 100% sure this information is correct):
city of strife (claudie arseneualt) - is supposed to have multiple arospec characters
every bird a prince (jenn reese) - middle grade, aroace mc
archivist wasp (nicole kornher-stace) - aroace mc, no romance
the black veins (ashia monet) - apparently no love interests!!! sounds like a dream
fallen thorns (harvey oliver baxter) - aroace mc
let me know if you have any recommendations! <3

I'm watching Twin Peaks for the first time.
Pilot episode spoiler free thoughts: I am hooked. The characters are all really interesting and I want to know more and to watch all of them like ants. I want to put them in a jar and shake it up.
Pilot episode - liveblogging, full of spoilers.
----
Lots of machinery ASMR and nature porn. Not sure what the show's about though.
Who is this sad person making sad eyes at the camera.
Hello fisher guy. Oh, a thing. Oh it's early spring, those tulips aren't up yet. Oh that's a whole body.
Lucy's gonna tell everyone. Oh boy he gets to use the siren!
Andy's got a big heart huh. Ope, they know her.
Hi lady (mom?), Laura's not coming down.
That kitchen is red.
Does David Lynch have a foot fetish?
Gross, don't spit dude.
"We're businessy businessmen doing business"
Is this Mr. Palmer? Yup. Also, there's the sheriff. Sarah knows what's up. Glad to see he cares about his kid tho. So often the businessy businessmen don't care about their kids.
Oh, I know this music! Now I know where it's from.
Ow, my ears.
Ah, Bobby. Here you are. You're a greaser huh? Ah, smoking and drinking, it's what Teens Do.
Idk if the acting is good or bad but I do believe Laura's dad's character is genuinely sad.
No really, does David Lynch have a foot fetish?
Bobby I want to hate you but you are very charismatic. Random screaming student. Everyone just seems to instinctively know Laura is dead.
Bobby was driving his third girlfriend home, he wasn't murdering anyone. Hey whoever this guy is, he's actually ensuring Bobby gets his rights, to a degree.
Everyone also seems to have really loved Laura. Like. It's almost creepy how much they all love her.
Oh, it's the music again.
Don't be sad, just get some drugs.
Oh, sad lady owns the mill. Josie Packard. Why is the other woman so mad?
Oh, that doesn't look like a good time, girl. Oh, she escaped.
It's Flattop greaser guy. He was in love with Laura too??
Hello eyepatch lady.
IT'S OUR GUY, RIGHT? The detective??? That's some sleazy music, he's gotta be a detective. He's very cheery.
Dale Cooper, FBI.
Huh. Dale, you're a bit of a snob. Also, you're annoying. Am I supposed to like you?
What is in this psych's ears?? Also, creepy, yuck.
Ew, Dale's going really far up there under that nail. Oh shit, a letter. Dale your face disturbs me.
Hey blonde boy, you don't tell Donna what to do. Heh, Ed's alright though.
Yeah, I'd also break the diary open, it's not like she's gonna write in it again. Hm, "J" is not Bobby. Day 26? Cocaine? Lockbox key? Mysteries abound. Also, chocolate bunnies.
I kinda love this cop who can't stop crying. Andy.
I don't think Bobby killed her. Wait, how was she studying at Bobby's house at 9:30 if her mom said she came home at 9? Lol using a calculator to type messages. "She wouldn't do that to me" hmm, do what? See "J"?
Audrey does what Audrey wants. *snort*. Audrey, you're great. Terrible, but I love you anyway.
Ooh, who said that line about the picnic earlier in the episode???
I guessed there'd be a reflection in her eyes.
Oh - it's flatop kid. He's the biker? But is he THE biker? And just cause he was the person behind the camera doesn't mean he killed or hurt them.
Oh, I've seen/heard "Fire walk with me" online before, didn't know it was from Twin Peaks!
Flattop has the other heart piece...
Seems that whole family is a bit... in need of help.
Ronette, who escaped, was a sex worker or something? In a skeezy magazine. Also a photo of trucker guy?
Ok Leo, your acting is kinda bad.
Oooh, Ed's getting it on with diner lady? Don't blame him. But meeting at the Roadhouse at 9:30? That's when flattop is gonna meet whatshername!.
Oooh she was his sister. That's why sawmill lady was so angry.
"Who's the lady with the log?" "We call her the log lady"
Mayor is senile, apparently. Dale, don't scare them all by saying the killer may be among them and then tell them not to start a witch hunt.
~oooh nighttime scary~
Hi, old man. Oh, Donna's relative of some kind. At least her sister(?) is gonna cover for her. Harriet. The bros are here to grab Donna but she's not there hehe. Blondie is Mike, got it. Heh. Harriet, that wasn't much of a cover. But Dad? Grandpa? I wouldn't have told THOSE losers she was missing, I would've said "She doesn't want to see your sorry asses".
Are you really gonna leave Hank? For Ed? Are you? Love this singer though. Ah, so the other bikers? greasers? don't like Mike and Bobby huh?
Oooh Joe's taking her to "James".
I'd turn off your lights if you're tailing, that's just me.
I do like how like, not-glorified this bar fight is. It's kinda lame actually.
So here's James.... oh, it's flattop. Oooh, so Laura WAS into sketchy stuff. And maybe Bobby killed someone? Aw, James. I don't think you killed her either. I might be super wrong, but hey. And it's the music again. It's fine, you can trauma bond and kiss to the music. Eey, Donna, that's a good plan to hide the necklace actually. If he's innocent.
Oh, I like that Dale already believes James didn't do anything.
Bobby that's a hell of a look on your face.
Aw, Donna's dad is a sweetie.
Bobby, you're so fucking weird. But apparently so is Mike, so whatever. Two peas in a pod. Also I don't like you anymore.
Ooh Mill owner lady and the sheriff are together, and the mill sister is planning some murder perhaps?
Uh, what? Was Laura's mom dreaming? Having a vision? Screaming for an unrelated reason?

It would be a shame to miss today's morning weather, but it would be a greater shame to miss the opportunity of spending some alone time with Rodriguez.
So, you made sure to see through Soap's favor. Still, you'll have to figure out how to approach Rodriguez... You work better under pressure, so you decided to wait until you arrived to the office to figure something out.
It's been a while since you felt this light and giddy, before Hassan's whole ordeal two months ago specifically... But was it that obvious though? It must be if Soap could tell so quickly, you two may know each other for long but he wasn't that much of a close observer when it came to you, was he? Was that ONE time with Rodriguez really turning you back to your old self? Just how desperate for intimacy were you? Was a quickie really the cure for the heaviness you felt cloud your mind everyday? No matter... It still didn't ease the hatred you sometimes felt towards yourself... -
Bump!
Just when you were about to make a beeline to the stairs an arm harshly pressed you against the wall. With a huff and a murderous stare you looked up to your mysterious attacker, but it melted when you registered his voice speaking in an annoyed tone.
"First rule. Never get too comfortable in your surroundings, always sharpen your senses."
"It's good to see you again too, lieutenant!" You sarcastically bit back moving his arm away and fixing your hair. Ghost looked at you unimpressed, a small expectant glint in his eyes made the sudden silence awkward until you sighed at the realization of what exactly had him coming to you like this.
"I missed training-"
"Y'knew I was coming back from the mission today morn. Where the bloody hell were you if not at the gym were you were supposed to be waiting an hour ago, Hound?" He grunts. Was really Mr. Grumpy pants cock blocking you right now over a missed gym session?
"I forgot, i'm sorry... Tonight, though?"
Ghost eyes squinted displeased. It wasn't your intention to keep the man waiting, honestly? You really did forget about training, in your defense there was an insanely amount of paperwork to drop off to Price's office, to later inform him and be surprised by the "hacked" alarms you were totally going to have checked right now. Obviously. Your destination clearly was NOT Price's office at all.
"Today at five." Ghost growled.
"Come on, i have stuff to finish and-"
"At five. Don't make me repeat myself, Hound."
You shifted your posture with an exasperated sigh now turning to your left to face the stairs but not leaving Ghost's hulking form.
"You really must have missed me tons to come here begging me to train with you, lieutenant." You replied with a cheeky smile.
"I'm not begging. It's an order." He breathed out.
"Throwing orders now, are we? Y'know... I was JUST told to get some rest."
Ghost pushed you back against the wall with little resistance from you. This man could be so predictable at times...
His right hand gripped your shoulder and the other hit the wall in a threatening manner, you didn't even blink unimpressed when your eyes met through his mask's holes. His gaze was stern and... Worried. You have known Ghost for years now, and you were confident to say you could read him almost as well as he could read you.
He didn't need to speak a word for you to know what he wanted to say right now. It's been months, you needed to get back to the field.
"Alright..." You whispered, but he didn't move.
You looked to your sides to make sure no one was around and see the compromising position you two were in, your lieutenant seemed to get the hint and straightened his back mirroring your action. He sighed and muttered "Laswell brought a package for you, i made sure to inform her before to have it dropped to my office s' soon as possible." Oh...
"Did i ruin the surprise not arriving sooner to the gym? I'm sure you had it prepared for me in pink flowery wrapping paper too." You chuckled, and he was simply done with your clownery. "S'not a surprise when you know exactly what it is."
Of course you know what it is... And it angered him to the core to have the package delivered in the first place, even so, he made the effort to check it out first not letting anyone see it before you could. It was you who requested to use a mask like the others did, yet this one was different, so it took a while to make. Different in looks with a hidden purpose Ghost had figured the moment he heard you explain the design to Laswell. It wasn't a skull mask like the others, this one covered your lower face and it resembled a dog's snout, it's teeth showing out in a threatening growl, a proper design for your codename. Sargeant (Y/n) Hound (L/n). Captain Price's loyal war dog.
But that wasn't what bothered him. You didn't JUST wear it for the fashions, the bloody thing's purpose was to act as a muzzle.
He clenched his fists knowing that the moment you get your pretty hands on that fucking mask you won't stop wearing it, so he, (as he's been doing lately) will have to use his authority to snap you out of your trauma.
"You are NOT to use your mask out of missions."
Your eyes shot to his at lightning speed, but just when you were about to complain a couple of rookies walked by, their muffled conversations carried through the hall, so you two stood there in silence until they left.
Ghost continued the moment they were out of earshot. "Your head is still stuck in that building." The damned building Hassan was hiding in.
"And that is WHY i must wear the mask." All humour from before dissipated instantly from your voice.
"There's no place to discuss. You acted on impulse and did what had to be done, that's it." You parted your lips but he cut you again harshly. "It's done." Ghost lowered his voice a little "We all become monsters under our very own eyes the moment we make our first kill. You are no different, and this was not your first-"
That had you instantly replying "it was my first time murdering someone in such way-" He quickly topped your voice again with a snarl "You did what you had to do to save Jhonny, the blood on your mouth had to be spilled one way or another."
That was a harsh way to word it... Yet... It's true. But that doesn't mean it had to be spilled in such gruesome way.
Hassan's body looked unrecognizable after your brutal display of violence. A primitive rage possessed your body clouding your senses completely, and the bastard that had been pinching your asses for weeks played the role of recipient for your accumulated rage. The moment he didn't pay attention to your lurking form from behind, you caught him red-handed when he was about to throw Soap out the bloody window, you pounced, your gun be damned when you tossed it aside attacking the bastard with your bare fists ripping whatever was covering his ridiculously delicate skin from your nails and teeth. You remember biting his throat so hard you swore to feel the bone. Like a starving predator feasting on it's pathetic prey.
The breakfast from this morning almost made an exit through your mouth while remembering the whole thing.
You lowered your face, but Simon was quick to lift it by your chin. His chocolate eyes inspected your blank expression closely, as if waiting for any sign you were about to break... How pathetic.
You two seemed to be at a loss of words until he once again stepped back and you muttered "Today at five...". He seemed content with your reply and walked away in silence.
Well, now you really need that stress reliever.
As if on cue, Price walked downstairs in a rush. When he spotted you he sighed in relief. "There you are, was just 'bout to ask you a favor... You wouldn't mind watching the kids upstairs, would you?"
The plan worked. "Did they make a fuss when you caught them, sir?" You bit back a snicker at the mental imagine of Price scolding them like a principal would to two naughty students skipping class and messing around.
"Two others scaped before I could do anything." He shook his head "Whoever they were won't face consequences today, but Mactavish and Rodriguez were dumb enough to get caught so now I have them ordering the whole ocean of old paperwork from my office."
Juuuust as planned. Wait- Shit, his office? The two of them together?
"I see. Do you need a babysitter by any chance?" You pouted and Price smirked "if you're free, sure! Heard Simon was looking for you." Seriously...? "Already dealt with that. So, what will I get in return for my babysitting shift?" Maybe you sounded flirtier than you intended, because when Price was taking his hat off to brush his growing hair back, his eyes widened, a shadow of a smirk played on the corner of his mouth and a slight blush grazed his pale cheeks.
"A please and thank you from your favorite captain. Now go make your old man the favor, yeah? Forgot i got a meeting with Laswell, can't keep my eyes on the brats upstairs. Thanks, sweetheart." He finally purred dismissing you.
Before he left, John threw you a wide smile when you walked upstairs so you didn't catch the look of satisfaction from your captain because thanks to your little banter. Price noticed the change in your demeanor. You weren't distant or quiet, you actually played and teased back just like you used to.
"What a forgetful morning for all of us..." You chuckled to yourself walking to steps at a time.
Well, now you ALSO had to figure out a way to get Rodriguez alone, hopefully in your old office. And that's if he even wanted to continue where you left off.
A knock on the door announced your arrival, then you opened the door and slid in. You bit down your excitement with an amused smile at the scene before you. Mactavish rised his head from the bundle of papers he was previously scanning from his lap at Price's chair.
"Hound! What a surprise!" Yeah, very convincing.
You shot him a nasty look and he quickly shrugged with a nervous smile "Wouldn't be here if Gus never mentioned me on the microphone!" You turned your gaze to where Soap was pointing. And there he was.
Rodriguez was looking directly at you , his mouth hanged open and his dark-honey eyes went wide as plates while he was carrying a big chunk of folders in both arms.
He genuinely looked surprised to see you again, this soon at least. A dust of pink kissed his cheeks at the memory of your last interaction. His tan skin and the few locks of dark hair that peeked under his beret glowed with the sun light from the nearby window. Rodriguez looked so soft and otherworldly you felt your own cheeks return the flush.
You rised a brow and he snapped from his trance coughing nervously and finally wetting his lower plump lip. "Sargeant Hound! I-it's a pleasure, a-an honour! We uh... Never got introduced before, properly at least-...?"
You smiled teasingly, he seemed mesmerized by the gesture biting back a wide embarrassed smile of his own. "My name is Gustavo Rodríguez, but everyone calls me Gus, if you please...'' he stuttered, his accent thick and rich just like his-
"Come on guys, i can't concentrate! Can you both take introductions to the other office or something? I'm busy here..." Soap's voice interrupted your short interaction.
Gus looked back at the other man, gave a curt nod, smiled at you appologetically and finally resumed ordering his tile of papers. You felt a tingle of disappointment when the Puerto Rican didn't catch the hint. Was he that oblivious? Or was it his way of hinting he didn't seek to spend some alone time with you?
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Gus." You said in a singsong voice, and sat on the couch at his side after he replied with a rushed "likewise, ma'am."
Silence invaded the office, the only sounds breaking it were from random pages being flipped and moved around. Sometimes Rodriguez would ask something to Soap in a hushed way like breaking the silence would earn him another punishment, Soap would respond in a normal tone and help him patiently with whatever he needed.
Some time later, you crossed paths with Soap when you stood up to pick a paper he accidentally dropped and he gave you this tight-lipped smile like he couldn't handle the awkwardness of the whole situation and was apologizing silently for getting caught and being in the middle of you two.
What you didn't ponder of this plan was that if it actually worked, Soap being there or not, the amount of paperwork would keep Gus busy easily for a few hours.
So you decided to join them quietly picking a random stash of papers and begun looking through the dates and numbers from the bottom corners, you were already familiar with their ordering dynamic after spending twenty minutes looking at their every move from the other side of the room. As expected, three people worked faster than two. And you were already used to ordering Price's mess of useless scattered old reports back in the day, so you were a grace of fresh air for the already exhausted men in the room.
After some time, the mountain of old reports and unimportant papers was low. You were finishing up dropping a bunch of plastic folders unceremoniously inside one drawer, a low sigh scaped your lips while making sure everything was in order inside it when suddenly, the warmth of a hand on your lower back startled you, but when you caught a whiff of Gus' cologne your shoulders slumped in relaxation.
"Sargeant? Muchas gracias... You have been helping us tiredesly, " He whispered causing goosebumps in your skin. You felt his body heat pressing to your side and you couldn't help but lean in with a sly smile.
You hummed and his breath felt hot against your ear, you enjoyed the slight ticklish sensation of his moustache against your neck as he spoke once more."Remind me to thank you any way you desire." Gus said when his hands found yours slowly closing the drawer you were inspecting. Work be damned.
The way he pronounced 'desire' in such delicious accent and lowered voice made the smile from your face falter and your thighs press together. Your eyes found Soap in the other side of the room, the big table in the center hid his crouched form, mumbling nonsense to himself as he seemed troubled searching for one specific folder, your eyes found Gustavo's who was now smiling widely waving the missing yellow folder the other sargeant was so adamant on finding.
"Sargeant Mactavish, i think i can take it from here." He said out loud, his amber eyes never left yours when you crossed your arms and leaned your hip against the side of the table. The smile you carried turned into a knowing smirk he quickly returned.
"Yeah, just give me a moment-... Ah shiet-... Where in god's ass is that jobby!?"
Soap started whining Scottish nonsense that made Gus frown and look at him in complete confusion breaking the heated stare you two previously shared. You took a step closer to him gaining back his attention, a hand traveled to his waist squeezing his side lightly earning a silent purr from the man who, just like you, was starting to get impatient as hell. You could tell from desperate look he had.
You should get a medal after all the paperwork you've done and the way you handled hours of sexual frustration doing said infernal task along the man you were craving to fuck on the very table you two were now leaning closely to.
"Mactavish get the fuck out of the office, please." You said with an angelic smile, Gus widened his eyes and held his breath.
Soap looked back at you stupefied by your tone while muttering "Yer awfy crabbit, lass... What's got ya-" at the realization of what was about to unbound when he saw your arm still stuck around Gus' waist and the little distance you two were in, he clapped his hands once with a "Welp! See ya then.", stood up and left.
You felt a little guilty for the way you kicked him out but right now your focus was on Gus, you'll make it up to Soap later...
Gazing back at him, amber eyes were already on you drinking you in, the blush of his cheeks have gotten much noticeable now that you two were finally close. He placed his hands on your hips fully facing you and took one shy step closer.
"You uh... There's something i need to tell you." His voice came out in another whisper.
"Moving quickly aren't we?" You purred.
He wasn't going to say what you were thinking right?
"I had admired you for so long, miss Hound..."
Miss hound? This man is hilarious, can't he get more adorable?
"Would you... Train me?"
You blinked twice "Train you?" He nodded. You adjusted your stance and placed your hands on his shoulders. Gus let's out a shaky breath as you pondered his petition.
"The quickie we had wasn't a way for you to get on my good side and ask me for random favours right?" It was clearly a joke but Gus went rigid and he genuinely looked hurt from such accusation, "Sargeant Hound-!" Shit "It's a joke." He sighed relieved, this man was so expressive you couldn't fight back a giggle.
"I'll do it, I'll train you."
"But i can't promise it'll be easy, i don't need to remind you i was personally trained by Ghost and Price-" His gave you a widened smile and his arms shot to hug you close twirling you around like a rag doll, his handsome laugh blessed your ears completely silencing the urge to complain at the sudden action.
"Lo siento! I've been dreaming to ask you this since forever! I've never thought I'd actually get the chance to train alongside you, and to have you personally training me? HOHO! Reyes and Nova won't believe this! I can't wait to start!-" He begun rumbling and you couldn't help but soften your eyes, his boyish excitement was so contagious, your hands cupped his cheeks and he took it as an invitation to lean closer and hush. Chests now pressed together, a look of raw adoration adorned face.
"I-... will shut up now." You squeeze his cheeks lightly with a chuckle, his stubble tickled your skin.
"Don't. Let a woman enjoy having a handsome man fawning over her, i could get used to it." He looked at you with a certain glint of smugness.
"Is that what you want, sargeant?"
It is what you want?
You loved your team, the boys always made you feel loved in their own respective ways, always making sure you were never left behind even when you isolated yourself like you had been doing these months. But right now, the way Gus was showering you in praises with a look that screamed want? You've never felt so desired and beautiful, not that you could remember.
"(Y/n)." You corrected.
"(Y/n)..." He repeated your name, tasting every letter on his tongue. You two started leaning into each other closer, his nose nudged yours, you rubbed the tips affectionately earning a low delighted chuckle from him.
You had waited enough. Your mouths collided in a desperate kiss. Desperate was the closest way to describe it, how your tongue hunted his and vice versa, how his half lidded eyes made him look drunk of your taste, your hands pushed his beret off grabbing his curly locks from the back of his head making the man growl into the kiss. Both of you grunted, moaned and melted into the ongoing make out more and more, limbs tangled into each other sensually.
Gus was an amazing kisser, you couldn't remember the last time you kissed someone like this. So full of want and need even though you two had toyed with each other ONCE and properly met TODAY.
The slight scratch of his facial hair, the taste of coffee on his mouth and the whiff of his fruity cologne you seemingly could never get enough of made you feel lightheaded, like you were floating. This man was a walking beacon of arousal.
But with the feeling came reality when Gus' strong arms picked you up, both hands cup your ass urging you to wrap your legs around his waist. You complied with an excited giggle.
"Wait-"
He sighed into your mouth carrying you to the black leather couch you had spent hours working on. "I have to apologize for yesterday... I was too impulsive and..."
"Hon, I'm on the pill, and we all get checked regularly. I trust you, do you trust me?" It was a simple question, a necessary one. Gus nodded slowly, his prominent blush still graced his cheeks. You leaned to kiss them and chuckled when you noticed his eyes were now glued to your cleavage as it heaved with your fast aroused breaths.
"Like what you see? Take my pants off right now." You whispered.
Gus chuckled nervously, his eyes looked away flustered, seemingly put on the spot. "Heh, i uh, sorry. I didn't know how to transition to that..."
He definitely couldn't get any cuter. His angelic face lit up in excitement and arousal the lower your pants were pulled, and with your aid, your panties followed.
The office basked on the warmth of the sunlight from the closed side window. The reports stuffed in folders of different colors and dates were separated carefully in various places through the whole overstuffed office. Price's big wooden table was clear from any paper with only his laptop laying there charging and Gustavo's forgotten beret.
The silence from the hall would have worried you if it wasn't for the early hours of the morning. Everyone was tending their own respective duties and/or training. That means...no one could hear the wet noises, growls, muffled moans and delighted meowls from inside of your beloved captain's office.
You currently lay on your back on the couch, your legs were wrapped around Gus' shoulders who was laying on the opposite side and funnily, due to his height, he had both his legs completely hanging off the edge, eagerly lapping at your cunt like a bear searching for the sugary treat of honey in desperate grunts and growls.
His hands squeezed your thighs a little hard with a delighted moan when your taste first coated his tongue. Your head threw back at the feeling of him attacking your clit in fast kitten licks, at the same time, his meaty index finger pressed to your entrance lubricating it to later thrust it in and massage your insides, his eagerness to taste you drove him away from your clit to slurp your juices hungrily once again, replacing his finger with his hot tongue, his big nose and moustache scratched the needy ache in your puffy nub deliciously. Dark jasper eyes were trained to your every expression, you could feel his smirk when he heard you moan his name like a god-damned prayer.
Gus groaned pleased at the feeling of your smaller hands tugging on his locks to rock yourself on his face, which was invitation enough to have him surprise you by lifting your thighs to push his himself further inside the mess of your hole, earning chorus of moans from your parted lips.
You knew the thigh grabbing would be a thing the moment he took your pants down and seemed to salivate at the sight of your legs. They were big and toned, years of training as the fastest and most agile member of the 141 task force made you build your legs like ones of a football player.
For Gus, you looked like a tasty treat. A goddess blessing him with the gift of a delicious wet cunt and the warmest embrace from your sexy thighs. He could die a happy man if you were to suffocate him between the wonderful warmth of your legs and the salty ocean of your pussy juices.
The Rican bit down hungrily at your inner thighs when he felt you clench them around his head once more announcing your approaching orgasm with desperate higher moans. Gus, ever the teasing bastard, denied your orgasm separating his hot tongue from your needy sex.
"W-wha-... What are you doing?" Frustration was plastered on your face when he smiled widely, his facial hair shone brightly lubricated with your sticky fluids, he cleaned them with the back of his hand, his tongue gave his hand a big lick afterwards making you huff and blush.
Gus rested his chin on your lower tummy, a handsome smile playing on his stupid teasing face when his hands massaged your abs feeling your rapid breaths. It was when your trembling hands grabbed his curly raven locks more firmly to force his mouth into your cunt that he grabbed your wrists halting you completely. "I want you to cum on my cock, corazón... If that's okay?" He clarified.
"What. Tired of the taste of pussy already, big boy?" You asked teasingly earning a hum from Gus who with a pussy-drunk look, winked you an eye saying "Never." In between throaty growls.
He lowered his head and burried his tongue deep inside your wet cavern again, this time thrusting his whole head against your pussy back and force making your whole body rock with his harsh movements. You had to bite down a scream covering your mouth muffling it, a moan of relief followed. Your pleasure-filled noises were music to his ears but also his sign to go back to being a complete asshole.
You growled in desperation when he begun unwrapping your legs from his neck denying your orgasm once more. Gus planted an apologetic kiss to your clit and moved your whole body with his strong arms so you were now kneeling on the cushion.
A laugh of surprise followed by a huff scaped his lips when you tangled yourself around him in a deadly grip making him lose his balance and fall backwards to the cushions with you now sitting on his still clothed erection, the friction made him clench his teeth in pleasure with a hiss.
"How the tables turn..." You said In a teasing purr, and he shivered, your body slowly lowers to his zipper's level. He lifted a little to help you pull his pants down with an excited chuckle.
Your toothy smile turned evil as your hands broke his hard cock from the confines of his black boxers. It stood proudly like a bloody missile ready for launching and explode your insides.
"There's my big boy..." You coo licking your lips.
He looked pleased with your reaction a shy smile replaced his smug facade. But soon he broke down from it and lifted a brow smirking at the ego boost.
"Come feel your big boy then, sargeant..." Gus must have thought you'd jump to his request of fucking you right now when he patted his right meaty thigh.
"Look at you, so smug." A yelp broke his cool demeanor when you hurriedly grabbed his dick by the base with both hands.
"Don't go thinking I won't have a taste first."
Gus looked at you like a starving man, almost regretful of his teasing. Almost.
You moved upwards leaning to his face, hands still firmly wrapped around his hard erection, he closed his eyes and parted his lips expecting a kiss. He looked angelic, his blushing cheeks gave him an air of innocence despite the strong arousal, but you had other plans, so you went to his right ear. Your lips kissed and nipped his lobe teasingly before you growled lowly. "You are testing my patience, i didn't take you for a fucking brat. Be a good boy and let me choke on that dick and NO teasing, or i swear to God you'll have blue balls for the rest of the day." Then you moved back to watch his handsome face.
He was looking at you in surprise blushing furiously. Gus' pupils went enormous eating the amber tone of his iris, his arousal did nothing but increase at your choice of words. A good boy huh? The Rican found himself growing painfully harder at the prospect of being your good boy. Your obedient boy toy always eager for your attention and affection.
His cock twitched at the annoyed look on your face. It was like a switch was triggered. He craved to change that look of displeasure at his previous teasing. To have you only look at him flushed and content, drunk in pleasure and delirious because of his affectionate ministrations, because of HIM. Him, the nobody Costa Rican cop who found his opportunity to change the world and took it, moving to London, fighting alongside the big dogs and now offering himself to the pleasure of his most admired muse. His Sargeant Hound.
In years of service he had never felt so devoted to anything that wasn't his dream of making this world a little brighter and less dangerous, but you... How your eyes sparkled in confusion at his prolonged silence but melted in warmth as his hands cupped your now flushed cheeks. He craved you. He needed to take you right now, to serve you as the good boy you wished him to be.
"Mi mamita hermosa..." Gus purred, his voice was syrup in your lips.
You kissed deeply and slowly, exchanging saliva and the aftertaste of your pussy fluids. He was a little conscious you'd find the action gross but then you kissed him back just as deeply, just as... As passionately. He felt warmth flutter on his chest.
When you parted your lips from each other, a string of saliva still connecting your mouths, he whispered a plead.
"I'll be your good boy, please mami, forgive me..."
The pet name sounded so foreign to you, 'Mommy' was the correct translation for it, surprisingly it didn't upset you at all. You never though you'd get called mommy in this short of situation, but you were not opposed to it, in fact... You felt yourself clench around nothing and your ego skyrocket. You loved the change of demeanor a simple threat have caused on this big bear of a man.
"Do you want mommy to taste you, huh?" Your hands pumped his cock, the tip of it an angry shade of red, the first droplets of precum emerged from it's slit like tiny diamonds under the daylight. You looked at his member closely eating with your eyes every detail. From the barely trimmed dark hair from the three prominent veins that run through his length like rivers. Your mouth watered.
"It's all yours mami, please... Please let me feel you..."
No need to say it twice.
You were on your knees lapping the underside of his big iron cock, his eyes glimmered like gemstones kissed by the strong sunlight from the now fogged windows, Gus sighed entranced by the hypnotizing trail of kisses you laid all over his member, then you lowered yourself again to have your tongue eagerly licking and lips nipping down the base of his cock, right in the begining of his ball sack.
His lips parted as he was about to voice his encourages for you finally try and put his dick inside your pretty mouth, but you hushed him when your head shot upwards and your lips pressed against his aching tip. A surprised but delighted yelp quickly followed from Gus, his body jolting for a second.
You smiled up at him, he was unmoving, lips parted but silent and eyes looking down at you in heavy anticipation holding his breath.
The warmth of your mouth welcomed the first few inches of his cock, Gus groaned loudly forcing himself to not look away from you as he cried out in pleasure. He made a mental screenshot of the view of your pretty lips wrapped against his monstrous cock.
You felt powerful. To have a man as handsome as Gustavo Rodriguez furrow his brows in mind-breaking pleasure, but at the same time it wasn't enough. So you tried to force yourself to swallow pass more than half of his length which proved to be as difficult as it seemed if not more. Your throat clenched around his cock when you swallowed and kept lowering yourself, Gus already looked like he was about to cry, pass out or the two of them consecutively.
A grimace greeted you when you opened your eyes to look up at him, he looked to be in pain, a line of sweat shone from his forehead, but you knew better. Because when you started bobbing your head up and down slowly, from his lips erupted a line of praises and curses in a chocked Spanish.
Your controlled breaths, slurps and gagging sounds mixed with the SpecGru operator's moans made your arousal ACHE, so you roughly pushed one of his legs in between yours and started rubbing yourself on it staining his hairy leg with the ocean of pleasure your pussy was crying out. Gus almost cracked a smile at the irony of his sargeant Hound acting like a literal dog in heat humping his leg like crazy. The feeling of your thick thighs pressed together crushing his leg made him groan loudly pressing it harder to your weeping hole while you deliciously rubbed your clit against his tensed leg. You moaned at the feeling causing vibrations against his cock.
He quickly noticed how the rhythm of your humps and swallows synchronized so he moved his leg a little faster in hopes you'd do the same with your bobbing, but you, wicked little thing, kept to your pace, he guessed as a punishment for his teasing.
You spent a few seconds more chocking and gagging on his big fat cock, your jaw started to ache and your throat burned so you decided to give your mouth a brief break. You moved away followed by a cry of desperation from the needy man.
"Sorry love, might need some practice... It's been a while and you are pretty big." You apologized teasingly.
"Your mouth feels... Divina... Take your time, querida... Just don't-"
Don't stop? Oh honey.
Your hands went to toy with his cock making him suck in a breath. One went to massage his tip, he spasmed instantly at the overstimulation earning a chuckle from you, both of your hands worked rhythmically up and down his massive size. You increased the pace of your thrusts against his leg but never changed the steady one you kept to his cock, but you did squeeze it harder and he thanked you by giving you cheek an affectionate squeeze.
He looked so out of breath with his legs tensing and skin sweating, he hadn't stopped moaning, grunting and whimpering since you laid hands on him, the mere image of you touching him was driving the man insane in pleasure, like a virgin boy discovering porn for the first time.
Gus warm hand still on your cheek moved away his thumb when he pressed it teasingly on your lips, your tongue licked the pad of his finger in an invitation he took by entering his thumb inside your wet cavern massaging your eager tongue and exploring the hole he previously abused with his cock. You hummed giving him a light squeeze on his dick.
"Huff... Si. Right there, mamita... Agh- Don't... Don't stop..." He blessed you with delicious moans as you pumped him a little bit harder this time going into a faster pace. The rhythm of your hips now on sinc with the fast pumps your small hands gave to his cock.
His red tip begun weeping even more. The Puerto Rican tilts his head back with a loud groan, his pleasured whines compensated the loss of his eyes on you. He looked so fucking delicious your mouth started salivating, so you moved away from his thumb with a light pop! and lowered your head to twirl your tongue around his tip with a light hum increasing the pace of pumps once more and swallowed the excessive amount of precum that was pooling inside your mouth. One of your hands quickly cupped his balls as they bounced up and down then squeezed them lightly. Gus now rolls his eyes to the back of his skull, his orgasm quickly approaching and his hips moved to fuck your mouth following your hand movements.
"Si, si, si, yes... Fuck, FUCK!" The harder you sucked on his tip the more violently his thighs shook.
"(Y/n)... I'm close... Me corro! Shit!" His declaration was the final push you needed to start feeling your end quickly approaching. Your hips moved clumsily as you meowled into his cock, your clit getting mercilessly crushed against his shinbone, fighting your desperate moans was useless when your hips bucked against him chasing your end just as Gus was doing right now.
You both sang the song of love in pants, groans and choked moans until one of his hands shot to his mouth when he let out a quiet cry, the other went to your head pushing you to swallow his entire length to the brim, his happy trail tickled your nose, your eyes watered and you fought back a harsh choke. The feeling of your spasming pussy, quivering thighs and brain-melting orgasm broke your selfcontrol making you greedily push your mouth impossibly closer to his pelvis, then came bliss.
You came all over his leg, your eyes went blank as you were high in ecstasy, the taste of his seed cloud your senses. His big hands gripped your hair keeping you in place as you swallowed his love juices.
"Fuuuuuuuuck..."
You huffed in amusement, you feel sure this man has never cursed so much in such a short time.
Gus tries to calm his breathing, now looking at you move away from his softening sex and sit yourself straddling his thighs. His hands massaged your bare legs, amber eyes full of wonder and drunk affection stuck to your face, like he discovered a whole new world in the darkness of your pupils. He swallowed, breaking the momentary silence that broke between you two.
In a beat, warmth graced your left cheek when he cupped it tenderly with one of his hands the other squeezed your left thigh lightly. His face felt magnetic when you rested your forehead against his, both of your eyes closed you hum at the relaxing feeling of his strong hands caressing your skin. Yours mirrored the movement nuzzling his blushing cheeks, his stubble and finally you moved them to brush his hair backwards and scratch his scalp affectionately.
Gus was melting on the spot, humming softly along you and whispering sweet nothings to your ear. How good your mouth felt on his cock, how warm and soft your skin was, and to your amusement, he apologized for cumming first and denying your release. You chuckled at this, but your laugh cut short when you felt the big bear of a man grinding upwards slowly.
His previously softening member now was hard as a rock once more and brushing your entrance with each lazy thrust in slight desperation. He gave you a pleading look, like he needed you to voice your approval.
You kissed him deeply instead when you slid his member inside your warm wet pussy, Gus wrapped both arms around you as you sank your hips as low as you could, his erection filling you perfectly. Moans of relief sound in unison, heaving chests moved against one another when you circled your waist, your walls squeezed him deliciously making him hiss and hug you tighter.
"Now's your chance papa bear..." You breathed out.
Gus took the encouragement to heart, both of his legs spread wide to accomodate you, his hands hurriedly pulled your shirt off until it was only one article of clothing that separated your bare body from the warmth of his body. You took your time to strip yourself from your bra enjoying every second of his pleasure-filled expression. Gus looked at you inspecting every inch of skin from your fully bare body.
You felt slightly shy under the weight of his full attention. You didn't feel bad towards your body, not anymore at least, it was littered in scars of different sizes and depths pretty much everywhere. Each one of them with different memories of past missions and unfortunate incidents, you could barely remember them all... At least your face and hands were miraculously intact.
Gus whispered something in his mother's tongue, something you couldn't quiet catch. Something along the lines of "Mi hermoso ángel de la guerra." And something more... But he didn't give you time to question when both of his arms went to wrap themselves around you again and his hips snapped upwards with so much force he punched all the air from your lungs.
The Rican showered you in praises you tried to register but couldn't with your loud broken moans and the force of his increasing pace. There was a particular thrust after he bucked a little to the right that kissed the mouth of your cervix making you whimper and bite your lip almost drawing blood. This man was mind-fucking you out of your senses.
His breath hitched, Gus' eyes were half lidded and almost blank losing his focus the more he felt you clench with his erratic thrusts, his moans were gone yet his mouth was still open. And you were no better, your breasts violently bounce up and down almost painfully with the force of his movements. One hand went to his shoulder and the other covered your mouth as you cried out in pleasure, your pussy had a firm grip on his cock. You really felt like you were ready to burst at any moment.
Gus hissed something in spanish under his breath, squelching noises echoed through the office as you started moving your ass meeting his thrusts, his balls clapped your cheeks with every buck of his hips, your moans turned into high-pitched cries of his name making the man reach his limit faster. His thrusts went clumsier and uncoordinated with your movements, the pure bliss of your walls squeezing him tight had him rolling his eyes to the back of his head and moaning your name back in gutural growls as if saying it would prolong the pleasure, and damn, it did.
He was fucking his sargeant, one of 141's most strongest soldier, he was claiming you, molding your insides with his length and practically using you as a flashlight when your body started to loose strength. Formalities were thrown out the fogged window, fuck titles, fuck rules, you clinged to each other like desperate lovers claiming their affection in a tango of naked limbs and a symphony of feral growls, moans and other sinful noises.
He pressed your lips together in a sloppy kiss when he felt your body tense then convulse, the loud cry that scaped you was quickly swallowed by him and that eager tongue you loved to choke on. And with a final thrust, you both came moaning into each other's mouths.
It was heavenly to feel this man fill you up again. It would have been greater if he was fully bare from waist up so you'd both be naked together pressing your sweaty skins against one another but you couldn't complain, not when your wishes of seeing him again like this were granted so quickly.
What you could complain about though was that your phone started vibrating from your pants' pocket that were carelessly thrown to the other side of the office a lifetime ago. You huffed and flopped yourself on Gus, who was now tracing circles on your back and kissing your shoulder tenderly, your sexes still conjoined, heavy breaths lulling your exhausted bodies into a state of sleepiness, and you weren't planning on moving any time soon. But big papa bear couldn't let his mommy sleep on work.
"Mamita, your phone..." His gruff voice spoke, a soft warning of your still buzzing phone, it prevented you from completely dozing off on the warm embrace you were sharing right now. You wined feeling like nibbling on his warm meaty arms, and you did as a way of punishment. Rodriguez giggled boyishly not expecting the ticklish attack on his biceps from the mouth he craved to devour again. "Ey ey! Come on, no biting, mami!" You smiled up at him and gave him an apologetic kiss to his arm.
The moment you moved to stand up with a groan, your sexes separated and a pool of cum cascaded out of your puffy cunt and you gasped loudly as it shot to the floor. Gus laughed breathlessly and seemingly as surprised as you.
"Ah mierda... I guess you got me too excited..."
"Really?" You smirked and laughed back sarcastically running to get your pants and phone not before cleaning your aching cunt with a napkin. "Good thing I'm on the pill or you would surely have-" You silenced yourself.
At first you were afraid that whatever you were about to say would turn the light mood into an awkward situation. And it did end the light mood but not in the way you expected.
Gus was facing you, a ghost of a smirk in the corner of half open mouth, eyes dark and full of desire, and you were sure yours sparkled the same way. His hands flexed on the edge of the couch and his soft dick turned half hard.
Did you just discover a new kink you both shared?
Did you really have a breeding kink? Isn't it too soon to jump into THIS kind of kinks? Fuck it, everything with Gus seemed so fast yet so exciting you didn't mind at all.
But those thoughts died when from the corner of your eye you spot Soap's name on your phone screen. And reading under his name from the non-stopping notifications you quickly noticed this man was warming you that the captain just left to fetch you and Rodriguez.
Gus widened his eyes at your panicked movements as you gathered your clothes to quickly put them on, he didn't blink twice before he was rushing to mirror your actions.
Under all the rustling of clothes your ears would have perked up at the quiet steps echoing through the hall slowly approaching the office. You were now fully clothed and ready to give Gus his beret when the man flopped to the floor violently scrubbing with the napkin you tossed to the table the little puddle of cum on the floor near Price's favorite carpet.
The door clicked open, Gus jumped up in a casual stance like he just finished admiring the weather outside as he discreetly opened the window to mask the slight scent of sweat and sex, you casually scratched your chin as if you were lost in thought when your other hand yanked the dirty napkins to toss them inside your pocket and the captain, thankfully not suspecting anything, whistled at you lowly asking if the kid behaved.
"He did his homework like a good boy." You teased playfully slapping Gus right on his left ass cheek, he yelped blushing furiously but nodding nonetheless. His big hand massaged his butt giving you a shy look with a nervous smile.
"Good, because Baseplate's back and he needs his whole squad on the training field at four. If you haven't eaten yet, I suggest you do it now."
"Baseplate!? I thought team leader would be coming next week. Thank you for informing me captain. T-the reports were successfully fixed, and thank you for your help, Sargeant Hound." You chuckled mockingly as Gus gave you a formal salute before going for the exit.
"Gustavo." You called.
"You forget your beret, soldier."
Yet again.
.
Cooking anything was the cherry on top for the magnific morning Gus just had. It didn't matter if Soap had him pranked into hours of work at Price's office, after all, he got to spend time with you. And inside you. Heh.
And now he craved to have a celebratory dish and hopefully save some for you if you were willing to try a bite. A fluttering feeling made him smile and humm some tune at the thought cooking something for you. Back on the other base in Germany where they previously served at, he took a habit of cooking for his team. Memories of his home flew back to him , he remembered his younger self when he used to cook for his parents, his sister's family and his grandmother. For Gus food was love. And who was better to share it with than his teammates and his new trainer?
He was about done when he passed two plates behind him for his two best friends to take and he lastly served himself leaving the rest on the pan.
"Are you paying attention?"
Reyes took a large chunk of his food to his mouth and Nova squinted in repulsion. "Mate, grab a fork-"
"Lafayette is coming to the bar tonight, i need someone at the base to keep track on the bastard of Baseplate, make sure he doesn't follow me or some shit-"
"Isn't that him on the door?" Gus joked. And Reyes jumped from his chair almost knocking all the plates.
"Not cool, brother. Don't joke about Baseplate being an ass if you two are still up for the secret plan i made..."
"We don't even know what the whole thing is about!" Nila squawked.
"My sweet Nova. Tonight I'll show you two what you two obviously were missing in highschool. You got the recipe of the brownies I've sent you, Rodri?"
Gus took his time to swallow the food he was munching and nods at Reyes.
"Enzo, is this about the uh..." He coughs and with a weary look whispers at his brother in arms "You know.... About the oregano...?"
Reyes smirked at the other man, hastily finished the little food he had on his plate, stood up and went to the sink. "Why the hell would I call a meeting with the angsty teenager of my cousin to the nastiest bar in the street in such worrisome hours of the night if not for some top quality weed?"
Nova threw him a glare and Gus shook his head in quiet disapproval.
"You give me all the disapproving-parent's eyes all you want. I don't hear any of you complaining about watching one of those stupid cartoons Gus likes while feasting on happy brownies!"
"We are talking about getting high inside a military base. We RECENTLY fought cartel and all you think about right now is to celebrate with-... With-... Gus, you tell him."
Nova looked back at Gus for support, the Rican seemingly put on the spot barked at Reyes. "Okay uh, first off. Sargeant Keroro isn't a stupid cartoon, it's art. And the recipe you sent me is for a simple chocolate brownie! You insult me hermano... You really think i can't cook a stupid brownie without using una tonta recipe?"
Nova had to take deep breaths to not slap Gus on the face as the man rambled about his cooking skills and his favorite childhood show to a grinning Reyes who was now trying to steal Nova's food as he fake-listened to Rodriguez.
.
It was two o'clock and you had already informed your captain about your morning with Mactavish and Rodriguez, including the latter's wish for being trained by you. Price pondered on his request, he seemed to formulate a mental opinion but before sharing anything he asked what your thoughts were.
"It'll help me get back on track. I'll take responsibility of his training and soon enough wake my sore body from months of doing absolutely nothing. Think of it as giving a child an egg to take care of it for a week as a way to improve their responsibility and attentiveness." Price chuckled at the comparison but encouraged you to keep going.
"I've been away for quiet some time, you know well i can handle myself. And besides, I've been your trainee for a while, why not switch roles?" He didn't look too convinced now.
"Tell you what, we'll see how Gus does during training. If I like what I see, I'll adopt the egg."
"You keep calling the man your egg, it won't change the fact that you also need SpecGru's team leader's permission. I won't deny it, I'm surprised you'd want to train anyone! But I'm not against it either. Though, (y/n)... Remember to watch out for yourself as well."
He went on for a while with one of his long monologues about your mental health and stability in the field.
Price was not as eager as Ghost about you dropping out of your two-month vacation. He believed you still needed some time. He has always been too overprotective over you, wether he viewed you as a pupil or as his own daughter you didn't mind because admit it out loud or not, Ghost was right. You couldn't stay in the sidelines forever.
Going to your dorm's bathroom to freshen up from the deliciously messy encounter with Gus and take a clean change of clothes, your stomach rumbles in protest.
You left your room after putting much lighter clothes matching the hot weather outside and went to knock on Gaz's room. You two usually went to eat together but this time it looks like your drama sister had left a little sooner.
"The betrayal!" You whisper-yelled when the second knock went ignored.
To the kitchens it is. Alone, Gazless and starving. At least your sexual appetite was successfully satiated.
Walking downstairs and through the halls your hunger started getting more annoying, the lack of breakfast was twisting your stomach painfully, sadly for you, Gustavo's love juices were not considered a balanced breakfast. At some point you expected you would run into Soap checking if you two actually got caught since you practically left him on read, but you found none of your 141 peers on sight. Ah well...
They were probably stuffing themselves full of the few extra portions of apple pie Price hid for you.
Arriving to the kitchenette's doors you heard some voices from where you stood. Three voices, one of them you recognized instantly as the Costa Rican. A playful smirk instantly planted itself on your face.
When the voices had quietened down a bit, you stepped inside and as soon as you closed the door behind you someone rushed to get out almost pushing you against the wall with the force of their speed. You stood there baffled.
There, hanging on the side table rested Nila Brown, or by her codename Nova. She, along with Rodriguez snapped their heads to you, Nova gave you a curt nod and kept to her conversation with Gus who now pretended to be listening as he finished washing the dirty plates he just used internally screaming at your presence.
"Sorry about that, sargeant."
"What the hell was that? A human-shaped bullet?" You playfully said walking to the fridge keeping their light mood up a little uncomfortable with the formalities.
Nova sighed readjusting her bun. "Baseplate has arrived, so now Reyes is on a mission to NOT run into him." Gus discreetly elbowed her arm lightly.
You weren't sure whether to ask or not, so you shrugged grabbing yourself a cold drink, Nova and Gus were glad you didn't ask.
Said man gave Nova another nudge with a look of urgency pleading her to leave, she looked at him puzzled but complied looking at the new plate he was serving. Her smile and light head shake was enough answer for Gus to sigh relieved, the pilot left the kitchenette and you two along with it.
"Hmm, that smells good. What are you cooking?"
"I um, it's a little invention! I actually saved some for you, miss Hound."
"A way to a woman's heart is through the stomach, huh? Very clever, Rodriguez." You teased.
He looked so silly wearing his uniform AND a white apron with "kiss the cook" badly scribbled on it. When you pointed it out he chuckled saying it was a gift from Soap in exchange for his meals and that led you to ask some questions about his love for cooking. The conversation was light and casual as he prepared the small table for you, ever the gentleman, it was like what happened less than an hour ago never occurred.
"So, you didn't answer my question. What am I eating, chef Ramsay?"
Gus laughed at the little nickname and apologized for forgetting the question. The plate looked and smelled delicious. He explained it was some short of meat pie with melted cheese wrapped in something called polenta. Whatever that was, it had a bright yellow color and it looked like mashed potatoes.
"Polenta! It's made out of uh, sémola de maíz. Hold on." You gave him your phone with Google translator already awaiting him, he smiled sweetly at the gesture. "Thank you, mamita. Let's see uh... Corn flour. Yeah makes sense. The rest is simply meat with veggies, the stuffing of any meat pie and i added cheese. I-I asked Sargeant Mactavish for his permission to use it, he said that as long as I share some he didn't mind!"
You laughed eating your freshly cooked meal, it tasted devine. Gus said that it needed some salt but everything tasted so perfect you didn't add nor avoid anything from the plate. The moment you first dig the fork into it and see the strings of melting cheese attached to the piece as you slowly lifted your fork, you fell in love.
Your mouth watered when he excitedly urged you to take a bite with a look of anticipation and glee, like a child preparing his first sandwich for his parent to try.
The moment you took a bite a pleased moan fell from your closed lips, Gus could have cried and/or popped a boner right then and there. He sat next to you, one hand on his lap and the other supporting his cheek as he dreamily enjoyed the view of you stuffing your face like a hamster with the polenta-meat pie. Funny how they laughed and joked around when Reyes grossly ate anything, and now Gus was completely mesmerized at your inhumane display of eating, you looked like a starving animal who hadn't eaten for days.
You honestly didn't care, the meat pie with polenta was your new favorite dish, and your stomach growled with force at the delicious smell and taste.
"O-Oh! By the way, speaking about sargeant Mactavish... He told me to tell you that he uh, he took some box lieutenant Ghost had for you? He said something about you meeting him before training."
"Holy shit,"
The bastard-
Soap actually had the balls to go rob Ghost. And not only that, but rob GHOST'S OFFICE. Were all Scottish people that mad and hungry for danger?
You guessed that Jhonny being close to Ghost figured he was keeping something very important on his office when he saw Laswell giving him your package.
Soap had been trying to get inside your "secret club" with Gaz (and in some weird occasions, Ghost) in which you would stick your noses in everyone's life inside the base and basically gossip and theorize about anything and everything, like grannies discussing their neighborhood dramas. Kyle had strictly told you not to let John join because he was one loud mouth and you agreed completely. You loved him like he was your little brother, but man, the guy sucked ass keeping secrets, so obviously you always told him no when he ran to you two with "juicy material" he obviously always made up to persuade you into letting him in.
Talking about the gossip club... It's been a long time since you last talked with Garrick about everyone's business. God you missed going to his room and enjoy your nightly teas, snacks and deliciously inappropriate conversations about everyone's personal life.
Anyway, back to the present. Soap was about to get his ass whooped, but at least you got to see and use your mask against Simon's grumpy ass order of not using it out of missions.
"I gotta fly then..."
"Now? I mean..."
You gave Gus a sweet knowing smile when you took your plate and everything else to the sink and got ready to clean it, he was quick to shoo you away saying he would take care of the cleaning.
"You are an amazing cook, Gus. Who knows, maybe you picked the wrong job."
"Ha ha. I only need to improve my hand-to-hand combat, that's why I asked for help from the greatest badass i know! Mi vida, you haven't seen me in action yet."
"We'll see how you do in training later, also don't forget to ask mama hen for his permission. I can't train you without Baseplate giving the okay."
Gus bit his lower lip with a spaced out look already machining something. "Yeah I got it, i'll take care of that. Also, don't forget Soap's lunch box! I-it's right there, it has some polenta too."
You winked and clicked your tongue taking the blue lunch box and thanking him for everything.
Just when you were about to leave a big hand wrapped around your bicep lightly pulling you back.
"Ey, Hound. Forgettin' something?" Gus said in a seductive voice giving you a shiver you played off by turning around with a twirl.
"Well, i have Soap's pastel de carne con polenta. So unless it's a kiss goodbye..." You insinuated with a playful pout he mirrored cutely approaching you and wrapping both of his arms around your waist, your hands found the sides of his face and squeezed his cheeks affectionately.
"Mmmm maybe... Kiss the cook?" he joked in a low chuckle planting a peck on the tip of your nose. Gus was so sweet he was going to give you cavities. You pretended to take a moment to ponder the request.
"Si. Bésame, papa bear." You said in a raspy voice, his chuckle was silenced when your mouths pressed together and bodies entwined.
The amount of warmth that embraced Gus' heart was so intense he felt like he would pass out right there. If only you knew the effect you had on him when you did so much as speak in Spanish, if only you knew the effect one kiss from you did to his body.
"Papa bear huh?"
"You did call me mommy, does that upset you, big boy?"
He groaned biting your lower lip and squeezing your ass cheeks.
"Claro que no, mamita. Makes me want to devour you like one." Gus said attacking your neck in sweet kisses that had you giggling and squirming from his strong grasp.
He bit his lip trying to suppress a big grin when you pulled away holding the lunch box tightly to your chest.
"Remind me to buy bear spray then! I'm too young and crazy to get eaten by a big horny bear-man!"
"Wouldn't you like to get eaten by one though, mi vida?" He shot back wiggling his brows.
You rolled your eyes and turned around once more resuming your walk out of the kitchen but not before yelping at the feeling of Gus swatting your ass with a clean kitchen rag laughing like a Disney villain. A clear vendetta of the previous ass slap you gave the poor Rican right in front of the captain.
"Fair!"

thoughts on mapleshade?
sorry for the late response for this hjkjhj
i like Mapleshade, but i think she's overused in cannon. like she literally did not need to be in Goosefeather's curse or Tigerclaw's fury y'know?
also, i won't lie, she's kinda annoying in Crookedstar's promise. her harping on and on about his promise got irritating, cause i feel like there just wasn't enough done with it?? idk. a lot of fannon shows her taking on a fake motherly persona to trick him, which i think would have been interesting. certainly more than cannon, but that's warriors for ya.
a popular fannon thing that does bug me tho, is when she's shown as just so creepy and controlling towards Appledusk pre river incident. cause usually it just seems like a way to make Appledusk look like a poor baby who was totally justified in cheating. like come on people
which, as a side note, ppl who act like Appledusk was a great guy irk me sm. sure he shouldn't of been murdered or whatever, but you cannot convince me he was actually just a lovely person and a devoted husband to Reedshine or whatever. if he really cared, he wouldn't have cheated.
i honestly don't rly blame Mapleshade for lying about the kit's father. sure she could of handled things better, but she was put in a tough position. what was she even supposed to do in that situation? "oh no my mysterious mate isn't Birchface, it's some other cat i don't wanna disclose." lets be real, things would go south fast. oh, also, i don't like when Frecklewish is characterized as just crying 24/7. let her be angry!! she's much more fun if you have her as a parallel to Mapleshade!!
ideal Mapleshade in my mind, is a desperate bedraggled ass lady who rushes into things without thinking of the consequences. pathetic poor little meow meow who gets to kill, as a treat.
idk i feel like ppl seem to have a hard time striking the right balance for her character. you can have her sympathetic without excusing the murders or whatever. you can show her as capable without completely girlbossifing her. that kind of thing. and similarly, you can portray mv characters as sympathetic without removing all their flaws. you feel?

just watched episode 9 of only murders in the building!!
oh my goodness was it an action packed one lol, lets talk about it
spoilers for Only Murders in the Building season 3 under the cut!
I WAS RIIIIGGHHTTTT YEEESSSSS I CALLED IT SO EARLY ON AND I WAS RIGHT!!! now that my celebration is out of the way, i will explain: i called it that in the footage of Ben speaking to someone in his dressing room, he wasn't actually speaking to a person but to a cookie that he knew he wasn't supposed to eat. i fucking knew it dude. For reference of how early i knew this, i have attached a picture of my episode four notes for proof (sorry about the handwriting), and a link to this post where i mention it.
Tumblr media
Now that my bragging is out of the way lol, lets talk the rest of the ep.
It seems Donna is the killer?? idk if im fully on board yet, i'm gonna stick with my guesses of maybe Loretta, Kimber, and Dickie but the show is really breaking down my confidence on those answers lol
i simply did not see the sewing circle thing coming, very out of left field but i have done some sewing in my time and it is enjoyable (when your sewing machine cooperates with you of course, it is a beautiful and temperatmental creature). One of the ladies played Madame Gao in the Daredevil TV show, I recognised her immediately.
i think thats all i have to say right now, it is late at night and playing Crash Bandicoot for many hours fried my brain so im having trouble thinking lol
before i start the last ep im gonna make a post with my definitive predictions and then go from there. im sad for it to be over but i can always go back and rewatch, its been a while since ive seen the first season. besides, there's a world full of murder mystery <3

I just saw the ask about Vecna/One (and your ans of course!), but I was just wondering because I couldn't tell from what you said, but as an antagonist- and also just as a character, how do you feel about Vecna/One? I personally love his character, and although I think his actor is attractive, it doesn't affect anything. I think his journey to Vecna was just so well written. I also dug his motives for doing what he did (not saying I agree with any of the actions he took fyi, he's a psychopathic murderer who murders children, no one should be fawning over him). But it's those characters I find so fascinating. Not to mention I think the UD really benefitted from an antagonist who could talk, and felt more "human", which is strange because Henry himself felt anything but. And I know the MF could kinda talk, through hosts and stuff, but Idk, I just really dig his character. Maybe I am viewing him through rose-coloured glasses because I related to his evil monologue of being "broken" or different.
Anyway I'll stop, otherwise I'll end up talking forever. But uh yeah, did you love him? Hate him? Indifferent? Really curious to read your thoughts 💚
Eh, I liked Vecna more before I found out he was just a sociopathic child with superpowers who grew up to be a mutated sociopathic adult with superpowers. I feel like the sociopath angle is sort of lazy. He has no motivation, really. He just lacks empathy, sees himself as a god, and wants to exterminate those he sees as inferior (read: everyone). I suppose the Mindflayer wasn't much better, but, as a mysterious monster, I guess I hold it to a different standard. I think I would have liked it better if his motivations had more substance behind them. Magneto felt humanity was cruel and deserved to be punished since he was a Holocaust survivor, for example. Henry was just apparently born this way. He's human, but there's no human aspect.
I do appreciate that we have an origin story, at least. I also feel that it's good that there's a villain who can directly interact with the other characters, as opposed to the Mindflayer who needed to act through a host.

*Spoilers for Wednesday on Netflix*
So I might just need to rewatch the show, but was the revel kind of weird to anyone? Like, I get they wanted to mislead the audience and all like mysteries do, but based on all the character interactions up to that point, it just...idk to me it came out of nowhere.
I guessed Tyler might be the monster from pretty early on, but the show did a good job of offering multiple valid alternatives so I wasn't sure. I realized there must be two people involved in the murders early on too, so they laid that groundwork nicely, but the final, final reveal just didn't work for me.
To me, it made sense that the therapist was Laurel and had brought out the Hyde in Tyler. Narratively speaking, it seemed as though Tyler had no idea he was the Hyde or anything about the plans - why would he have any incentive to destroy Nevermore? And if he did want it destroyed, and knew Wednesday was the key, why was he trying so hard to help her get out of town? It just felt like him being in full control of himself and agreeing to Laurel's plan wasn't very well fleshed out and I don't see the point in the series where that change took place in his character (if it even happened during the season). It's not even like Tyler was doing a great job at weaseling his way into Wednesday's life as Thing was the one who always set them up.
And Laurel being the botany teacher just really came out of nowhere to me. Why would she be so kind and soft to Wednesday for no reason? It's not like she (or Tyler) used that trust to get Wednesday to the crypt for the blood moon - or for anything really. If that trust had really been able to manipulate Wednesday into accidentally taking part in the ritual, that would be one thing, but it didn't seem like the trust either Laurel or Tyler got out of Wednesday was used for anything other than to hurt her once the reveal was made.
How did the botany teacher even get to be a teacher at Nevermore? How did she get Tyler alone? How did his dad never notice Tyler was missing like, ever? It just narratively makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE for the therapist to have the time and access to the Hyde to reveal its true nature rather than a random teacher at Nevermore who's also the dorm mom.
Idk, I was on board for most of the story in the show, that reveal just really frustrated me and made no sense narratively speaking. The point of a mystery is that when the reveal happens, it makes sense. It's shocking, sure. You maybe weren't able to call it, of course. But after the reveal is made, puzzle pieces are supposed to fit together and make sense. This one just didn't for me.

- The way he rolls his eyes as Rose runs to Mickey.
- "It's an invasion, plain and simple! Don't talk about constitutional rights." OOF.
- Why is the plastic guy kinda 🥵
- "It wasn't my fault! I couldn't save your world, I couldn't save any of them." but he doesn't believe that & he never has.
- Clive about to get his shit rocked.
- RIP Clive. Should have been more paranoid.
- Jackie out here surviving solely because of her plot armor.
- "Just leave him!" and that's why she chooses to go with the Doctor and not stay with Mickey. Because the Doctor would never say that if there was something he could do.
- Rose laughing while her mom is panicking over the phone bc she's justso glad she's alive.
- "Thanks for what?" "Exactly." OUCH.

Reviewing horror movies I watched for the first time this halloween season
(I'll keep updating this post as I watch more. Also I'm going for the classics here, if you have recommendations feel free to tell me)
- The Blair Witch Project: 7/10
I guess watching it in cinema when it came out must have been so good and I appreciate it for the originality. It's great at portraying the fear of being lost and haunted and shit and i wasn't bored for a single minute. But idk i guess knowing everything that happens in it before even watching it made the plot kinda... meh lol
- Friday the 13th (1980): 5/10
Had I not known who the killer was maybe it would've been surprising and I would've liked it better. But it's just y'know a product of its time and it's alright i just didn't like it very much, it's clumsy and funny at best and at its worst it makes murder seem boring. I have yet to watch the sequels because from what I've heard they're better.
- Evil dead (1981): 7/10
Really good! Love the plot, but most of the main characters are so dumb i just got angry sometimes. The practical effects got a good laugh out of me sometimes but overall it's really impressive. I had watched Evil Dead: Rise before this one. That one I found better because it improves on the mistakes of the original, but you have to appreciate the source material because it's already pretty fucking good.
- Sinister: 8/10
When it comes to the haunting subgenre this one really nails it. I've deducted a few points because it's pretty cliche, most horror movies with little kids tend to do the same thing and this one rarely escapes those tropes. But the ending was impressive and I liked it a lot. Plus Ethan Hawke playing a dad. Do I need to say more?
- Scream (1996): 10/10
Was it really supposed to be a horror movie and not a gay romcom? Anyway........ It's a classic and it deserves that title. Fucking awesome. Perfect characters. The main girl is not dumb. Great ending. I've watched it like five times in a week. Am not doing okay.
- Scream 2 and 3: 6/10
Okay I think it's pretty safe to assume from now on the series is hardly even trying to be a horror series. As comedies, these are great. The meta elements always get me. But they just lack the spiciness of the first one. Tbh would only recommend if you got time to spare otherwise you wouldn't be missing much.
- I know what you did last summer: 9/10
Exactly my cup of tea. It's a shame Julie is SO. FUCKING. STUPID. But I loooooove me some who done it horror. It's sort of a distant sibling of Scream so if you liked that you'll probably like this one too.
- Poltergeist (1982): 9/10
Really great. It's a classic for a reason. It nails everything right on the head. Love the metaphor behind it too. It's just not exactly my type of thing so yeah...
- Scream 4: 7/10
So far I found this to be the best sequel. The "reboot" thing works well, but Emma Roberts' performance annoys me deeply idk. Everything else was very entertaining idk. Still kinda mid comparing to the first one
- Signs: 10/10
I think a close second to horror/murder mystery/slasher to me are these apocalypse/end of the world type of movie. And this one is probably the best one I've watched so far. I don't even get scared watching movies anymore but this one made my heart drop to the bottom of my stomach. Also the family drama makes me really emotional lol. This movie does everything right, loved it. Is it even horror? Idk, but I liked it a lot.

hmmmm im wondering if im ever gonna see any criticism of rian johnson/natasha lyonne's poker face bc its like that kind of lib-"progressive" pro-cop propaganda thats really dangerous and nonsensical??? it was like "meh whatever ive sat through criminal minds" until episode 4
starting the episode with two women who seem completely justified in their murder of the guy who convinced them in the 70s to join HIS lil movement (they even said he had cult leader vibes?) and then suddenly moving to Actually All Murder Is Bad by the end of it??????
even if i was on board with the whole OMGGGGG BOMBING THE MODEL UNION IS UNETHICAL thing..... wasnt it the idea of the guy who RATTED THEM OUT AND THEY MURDERED EVENTUALLY..... And even if it wasn't his idea it was because of him that they were there that night and he tipped them off to the feds. who opened fire on all of the protesters.
again. the idea is the feds/ have the right to open fire on these protesters bc Omg but they were gonna kill children!!!! which is not a thing. you cant just murder them when u get the tip. even in the tv show????? like ive never seen anything like that thats pure propaganda to get people used to the idea that if cops open fire on people they must have done something to deserve it hello?????
then charlie is completely fine with once again getting the feds involved and having these women arrested, not at all acknowledging that the guy who got them almost killed was in witness protection for years and they were supposed to... forgive him???? and its all played like they're crazy old bitches with paranoia like hello they were on the ground dealing with cops they were in prison for ages they have ptsd like theyre traumatized fuck you
also this whole "killing high schoolers" shit is so dumb and badly thought out bc if you took that out they would have been completely in the right if anything it just sounds kinda stupid or like it wouldn't have worked out. this is also propaganda bc i dont know if anything like this actually happened in history so it implies that the fbi is good for keeping these stupid low down hippies from hurting our poor future of america
LIKE idk it was awful i was rooting for those ladies the whole time the comedic timing of the random old annoying lady was so stupid like idk natasha lyonne became the villain real quick and the episode ended on a bad note! now shes friends with a cop and a fed! am i supposed to be happy!
i know a lot of murder mystery enjoyers don't care enough abt these things but its hard to suspend disbelief in someone who goes "im not a cop" and then takes two cops phone numbers like thats not.......

so I finally started only murders in the building - I've been wanting to watch it for a while because based on description and what I've heard, it's perfectly my type of show
but I'm lowkey disappointed lol
on one hand, everything's happening pretty quickly - but the pacing still isn't it for me, I was getting kinda bored and it felt longish
I'm not interested in any of the characters either idk, the first episode should get me at least a bit curious about them but... well. it didn't.
(to be fair, I might be a bit biased because I might be the one person in the world who doesn't like Selena Gomez lmao - and I didn't particularly enjoy her in episode 1 sns 💁🏻‍♀️ - I do love Steve Martin tho so we'll see hah)
and like, on Disney plus it says it's a "mystery, drama, comedy, crime" and yet there wasn't really any comedy yet (like I don't expect it to be sitcom-funny or anything but none of the moments that I guess were supposed to be funny made me even smile so.... yeah) - then again, it was the first episode so I'm not writing it off yet hah
idk, the first episode wasn't that impressive and I'm not really invested yet, I'm not like super interested in what's gonna happen next hah - maybe my expectations were too high based on how much everyone seems to love it lol
I'm gonna keep watching, though, I'll give it maybe three episodes and if I'm not hooked then, I'll stop watching hahah (unless I'm really bored and have nothing else to do idk)

anon request: “I really love the way you write angsty stuff so if u want, can u write a scene where jungkook is like involved in illegal stuff like drugs or maybe he's a hitman, Y/N and Jungkook have a conflict about that because she's not happy with what he does, he gets hurt a lot but he enjoys his job and doesn't wanna give it up cuz he loves the thrill. It can be an emotional scene where Y/N tells him that she's afraid of losing him because of what he does. Honestly come up with anything, I don't mind 😂”
prompt: Jungkook is a druglord, you’re a waitress at a shabby burger place. He loves what he does and even though you try to ignore it, it scares you. You fear you’ll lose him if he doesn’t quit and he’s all you have. Your so called family are full of lies and if it wasn’t for Jungkook, you don’t know where you’d be. You wonder every night if the sirens you hear are for him—you pray it’s not for him. Secretly, he feels the same about you.
pairing: Jungkook x reader
genre: angst, drabble, mental health issues, mentions of murder, mature subject matter
author’s note: For the anon who requested this, this is for you! I hope you enjoy~ did i watch Truth be Told and decide to make the OC a twin? yes, yes i did
Tumblr media
When you opened your eyes, you started to feel around for your cellphone. When you couldn't feel for it, you rolled over and yawned, it's probably under the bed. That's where its gonna stay too. As soon as you got home from work, you fell face-first into your bed and taking a shower was the last thing on your mind. But now you're feeling the stale department store smell on your clothes. It takes about two minutes for you to roll out of bed and realize you that Jungkook should have been here by now. You grab your phone and see two missed calls and a text from 2 hours ago.
jungkook💖💫: im sorry ill be over a little later baby, something came up
jungkook💖💫: i miss you angel
You smile, he always misses you. And you miss him too, but you know he's probably out there in the slums of the city, doing what he does. How you lucked out with him, you have no idea. One night you were trying to call an Uber to get home from a birthday party at the club. It was around midnight and you had to work so you couldn't hang with the hardcore crowd. You went outside to call for a ride but you were being watched. Some guy kept catcalling, just outright harassing you. It was the scariest night of your life. You were telling him to leave you alone but he was drunk or high, either way, he wasn't all there. He snatched your phone. Just when you thought he was going to grab you, a black sports car, one you would have had to work two lifetimes to afford, stopped at the light. And before you know it, the man trying to get you is being dragged into the alley where he probably would have taken you. You remember being frozen, all you could hear was cursing and blunt force. The mystery man, whose car is still in the middle of the road, emerges from the dark corner between the buildings.
You were completely taken. The smile, the hair, the tattoos, and dangling earrings, paired with a striking gaze—he was an angel. He was so beautiful and he was just looking at you stand there with your mouth open.
"If there's one thing I hate, oh here you go," He hands you your phone and you get a nice look at his hand tattoo, "it's motherfuckers who can't leave women the fuck alone. Sorry you had to deal with that, but he won't be bothering you or anyone else after tonight, or use his hands again," He sighs, fixing his clothes a bit and wiping the blood from the corner of his lip, "are you okay?"
"Yeah, thank you," You slip the phone in your bomber jacket pockets, "not a lot of people would stop a stupid guy from bothering a girl they don't even know."
"Yeah, I'm Jungkook by the way," He introduces himself with a smile, situating his nice clothes, "do you- Um, did you need a ride? I'm not a creep I swear," He holds his hands up in surrender when you furrow your brows at the suggesting—great, now she thinks I'm a pervert.
"I didn't stop that guy as blackmail to get laid, I just-" He pauses to grapple for the right words, "I saw you just standing on the curb and I know it's not safe out here-"
"If it's not any trouble," You interrupt his rambling, "I live about 15 minutes away, I was gonna call a ride but if you don't mind, I'd appreciate it. My name is Y/n, by the way."
That night changed your life forever. It was the first time you had wanted to kiss a stranger, the first night you ever came close to a soulmate. He confesses to having seen you in the club, he was at the bar, refusing offers from every girl from the bartenders to cougars out on the town, at least that's what you always thought. In that little fifteen minutes, you got to know very little about him but you felt so comfortable sharing things about yourself when he asked. He dropped you off and said if you ever needed anything, to give him a call.
You never got to use the number because you ended up seeing him again. He showed up to your job, but he wasn't there for you, he was there for one of your money laundering and pill-popping associates. You were taking a break and for some reason, the break room was eerily empty. After you heard gunshots and the whole store went into chaos. You remember trying to leave and suddenly being swept away and into an outside electrical room apart of the building. You calmed down enough to realize that it was him but you were baffled.
"What're the odds that you would work at the same place as that bastard," He fiddles with the gun, tucking it to his side and flipping on the safety and pulling off his mask with a toothy grin, "do you remember me?"
"You?... Jungkook, how did you- Why are you-..." You make a small step back and swallow, scrambling to think of something to say. "Have you been following me like some creep?!"
"No! this is just a run-in by fate, I swear I didn't plan it. I'm not even supposed to still be here but I couldn't just leave, not without saying something to you."
"Okay...What do you want to say? I have to get back on the clock." You look him up and down, his all-black clothes and heavy boots intimidating but alluring in many ways.
"Wanna grab a coffee?"
For some reason, you said yes to the familiar stranger.
"Sure- I mean no! No, I can't Jungkook, I have to get back to work-"
"Trust me, just come with me," He extends his hand for you to take and smiles, "you won't regret it."
You took his hand and never looked back.
* * *
Nights like this.
When it's too early to ruin his life and too late to pretend like he wouldn't care. So when he shows up to the lounge to enforce an unpaid debt from a client, he leaves with bruised knuckles, two grand, and a rush of adrenaline. He went a little hard on the guy, but can you blame him? He messed up his plans. Tonight is date night, also known as 'crash at your place' night. It worked out though, you had to work late so he wouldn't be too tardy. Judging by the fact that you haven't answered your phone, you must be knocked out.
He slips his hand into his pocket and fumbles with his keys until he finds the one to your apartment. When he walks inside he hears the sink on and smiles to himself, you must've just woken up.
"Baby, it's me," He announces himself, "how was your day?"
"Fine," You step out in your work clothes, still trying to get your earrings out, "as fine as a day working for the devil could be."
"That bad?" You take note of the silk black shirt that's rolled up to his elbows, letting you see his beautiful sleeve of tattoos. When he comes dressed like this, and smelling like smoke you know he's been out into high-end clubs. The way some of the women look at him makes you feel small and a little self-conscious. But he always reassures you that you're who he wants, not some woman who sees him as an experimental one-night stand. When he tells you to meet him in the restroom because he needs to tell you something, you're reminded that you're all he wants.
"She screwed the schedule. My only day off was taken because her favorite, Kasey, has to go out of town."
He unbuttons the buttons on his shirt with deliberate fingers. "You walked out on a job for me before, remember that?" He smiles, letting his shirt fall from his shoulders like a dream. A bruise on his upper arm catches your attention but you don't say anything. "If you're not happy, just leave. I can take care of you, you can be my sugar baby."
"Yeah, my step-mom would love that, I could see it now," You cringe at the thought, "Hey, just a heads up, I'm not working or married but I have a sugar daddy who pays all my bills and lets me use his money for free, oh, he's also a drug lord. She'd really think highly of me then."
"Fuck Carol, she's a judgmental priss anyway," He comes up to you, hands finding your waist, "why do you care what she thinks about you?"
"I don't care what she thinks, but if she finds out she'll tell my dad and I don't want to hear it from him. If he pretends to not be disappointed by the lesser-twin one more time, I'll actually cuss him out...He's such a liar, he lied to my mom and he lies to me.”
"Quit saying that," Jungkook grabs you under your thighs, wrapping your legs around his waist so he can sit on the edge of your bed, "you're not the lesser-twin, you're the cute and sexy twin." You sit back on his thighs and you both laugh at his attempt to lighten your mood.
"Well, I'm not a successful surgeon and I'm broke as hell, but at least my boyfriend thinks I'm cute." His hands find their way to the hem of your shirt and pull it over your head, revealing a disappointing tank top.
"See, this is disappointing. Why are you wearing a tank top? It's a hundred degrees outside." He sighs, looking up at you like a pouting little kid.
"Because I want to," You grin, brushing his hair from his brows, revealing a scratch, "you're cut."
"Yeah, had a run-in with an old friend, we're obviously not friends anymore."
"You should take me with you on these deals and stuff, I'd make a great bodyguard for you," You joke, "if you showed me how to use a gun."
"You?" He giggles at the image of you secretly acting as a bodyguard, a dagger, and a gun in a garter under a skintight dress. "That's not a bad idea, they'd be too distracted looking at how fucking beautiful you are to see you as a threat."
"Yeah, I always saw as the Bonnie & Clyde type of couple," He leans up to kiss you and you smile through it before he pulls away, "eh, you need to shower, you smell like weed."
He furrows his brows, a snarky smile on his mouth. "And you smell like French fries, but I still kissed you.”
"Touche." You can't argue with that, the French fries smell gets to you too.
He picks you up, carrying you to the bathroom with a beaming smile.
"Let's shower then."
 * * *
A deal went bad, he got grazed by a bullet and spent a few hours at the emergency room.
When he pulled in to the driveway and saw your car, he sighed in relief—he was hoping you'd come. After work, you had come by earlier to clear your head and take a breather from your cramped apartment and rowdy neighbors. Ever since his 'new position' he was put up in this huge mansion, equipped with a full staff. Luckily, they were off tonight so no need to keep quiet.
It's getting late and you've been trying to watch a baking show to stay awake but it was getting difficult. He hadn't called or answered any of your calls or texts. When you hear the garage door open, your heavy lids lift and you yawn, trying to wake up so you can tell him how your day has been.
He opens the door with a deep sigh and he's glad you can't see the thick white bandage on his upper arm and tired shadows under his eyes because of the dim lights. "Jungkook, it's so late..." You mumble, sitting up. "what took you so long?"
"Yeah, baby, I just had a mix up with someone who owed the group a lot of money, they, uh- They opened fire and we had a lot to clean up." He offhandedly mentions that and goes to the bathroom to change and you just wait for him.
The painkiller is wearing off but he manages to brush his teeth and slip into some sweats and a t-shirt. After flicking the light switch off, he falls into bed with a heavy exhale. Glad to finally have him close so you can tell him about your terrible day, you turn to hug him, and instantly a wince of pain leaves his mouth.
"Sorry," You giggled, thinking he was just kidding until you see the bandage on his arm, "Oh my gosh," You sit up, hand reaching for his bandage with concern in your brows, "what happened?"
"It's nothing baby, I was grazed by a bullet and had to go to the ER," He spares you a weak grin, hand rustling through his damp locks, "but it's nothing, I feel fine."
It's always nothing to him. You lean down and place a gentle kiss on his forehead, one he would normally place on you. Nights go by and you know he's out there risking his life, not thinking how devastated you would be if one night he doesn't come back.
He caresses the apple of your cheek, lips parting when sits up to try to kiss you, but you pull away.
"Hey, I've had a long day I just want to kiss you," He sits up now, "talk to me."
"Talk to yourself, I'm going to sleep."
"Where the fuck is this coming from?" He glares at you, tone firmer than before. "Y/n, cut the crap. What's the problem?"
"Jungkook, there's no problem I just worry about you."
"I don't mean to make you worry," He speaks softly, "but you know this is what I do, I can't stop now, even if I wanted to."
"I know," Sadly, "but you're all I have."
He tilts his head, a bit confused. "What happened?"
"My sister called when I got off of work. My dad isn't doing well, his liver is in terrible condition and he needs a transplant...He's on a wait-list now."
Knowing the severed relationship you have with your family, he treads lightly when requesting this. "Do you want to go see him?-"
"No!" You snap. "Why would I want to see him? This is what he gets for killing my mother."
"Y/n, you don't mean that..." Jungkook gets uncomfortable when you enter that head-space, you become ruthless in your words and your eyes glaze over with something he has yet to understand.
"Why not? It's true. He was cheating on her, that's why he never came home and she thought something was wrong. So drove out in the middle of the night during a storm and ended up crashing into a tree, because of him. My sister has always defended him, but I think it's because she didn't like mom either...The two of them may have cried at the funeral but I know them, they were glad she left us. That's why I need you, Jungkook, I don't have them or want them..."
"Y/n, you have to learn to forgive them for whatever you think they did, it's going to drive you insane if you don't...Fuck them, spend your energy on us, okay?"
"I'm already insane, I'm with you, aren't I? You come close to being killed every week, and it bothers me to think you might not come home...But I'll go through that if it means I get to have you, I love you, I only love you..." You lay your head on his shoulder.
He’s your angel.
You aren’t sure what you are to him.
