'Not even Hell will stop the Wrath of a retired Angel'
My hc is that Hell decided to yoink themselves one (1) retired demon to extract information or enact whatever revenge they seem fit for the whole bathtub debacle. What they hadn't account for was that a certain Angel, who is know to be quite territorial about the things he loves, would do anything to find their husband after weeks of missed calls.
Well, once he does which might have included summoning and trapping a very frightened and confused demon and pressing them very politely for information (after Heaven was useless as always), he comes up with a plan.
One might say Aziraphale was quite disgruntled, positively seething, maybe even willing to give smiting a try after finding out demons had abducted their partner.
So, filled with the wrath of God and being judt enough of a bastard to be worth knowing he decided the best course of actions is, of course, passive agressive diplomacy. I mean the demons don't know that he isn't actually immune to Hellfire and noone would be stupid enough to try the main entrance, so noone would actually expect an Angel to just waltz into the place like they own it.
Those demons certainly aren't immune to an Angel's Divine Intervention (of the lethal variety) and Aziraphale be damned if he didn't at least try and get their partner out of this in the most idiotically genius way.

Half-formed thought here, but. Usually in my mind I assume that the topic of Abigail goes almost completely unspoken between Will and Hannibal post-canon, but... man. What if they were even more unhinged about it than that. Like, what if they displayed a massive portrait of her on the mantlepiece or something, as a symbol of Will getting Hannibalpilled and buying into the idea that her death was a sad but inevitable consequence of the force of nature that is Hannibal. And then everyone who visited the house assumed she was just a beloved relative of one of them or something, without knowing anything about the details of how she died (or even that she was dead). And whatever murder buddies/protégés/frenemies/pseudo-children/sexy little thirds/[whatever unholy combination of those things] Will and Hannibal acquired would piece together some very idealized understanding of her as the Perfect Dead Sister-Daughter that they could never measure up to, whose ghostly presence hangs over them... and then coming to the very macabre discovery that Hannibal was the one who killed her! I think that'd be neat.

a roughly cleaned up sketch sheet for my small town horror arlo/auggie AU!
more info under the cut!
general plot of the AU so far is:
• auggie, who has been bounced around between foster homes since he was young, ends up being fostered by charlotte; a woman who lives in a middle of nowhere town called "oldfaire"
• he quickly realizes something is definitely.. off in the town, but no one else seems to acknowledge it. he also keeps seeing this girl wandering around strangely, and upon asking about it is repeatedly told he's better off avoiding her
• said girl is arlo, who has lived in oldfaire her whole life and who is the only one aware that something is deeply wrong there
• she knows this because of witnessing her childhood friend eddie going missing, along with everyone's memories of him and all physical records (she also gets her grey hand in this incident)
• they become friends after arlo realizes that auggie is the only other person she's met aware something is wrong, and they decide to work together to try and unravel the mystery
• (also eventually they fall in love <3 )
