i've been doing a s1 rewatch for research purposes and tell me why this is the first time i've noticed roy noticing isaac telling declan to stop looking at his phone during the first movie night. the choice to make isaac the next captain didn't just happen when he threw the chair at the tv in the finale. it was built up slowly as we got to learn about the boys. i'm so :')

i think everyday about. how, as a robot, freddy fazbear would experience emotions differently from people. and how, as a robot, his whole perspective on the three star family situation would be wild. like… you’re programmed to be an entertainer, a dancer, a singer, etc., until suddenly youre not. he probably cant dance without a head- wouldnt have a reason to sing anymore (except maybe to his family. which is VERY cute to imagine). and its just… he’s not really freddy fazbear anymore, is he?
theres also a point to be made about, how robots feel. bc bc ai blah blah i wont go into it, his feelings arent going to be expressed or understood in the same way peoples’ are. theres going to be part of him that doesnt fully understand what its like to be part of their little family, to fully understand why and how he came to care sooo much about these two for taking him in.
i need to organize my freddy thoughts but. oooughhg. do you understand? please please pl

Actually. The most fucked up line from the trailer is how the collectors collect things so they can "never pass". Because I mean like. The Implications of it.
In a show that's all about change and grief. Where the collectors' main enemies were the Titans, beings that notably made new life, instead of just preserving what was already there. Where the main villains motive is his selfish inability to let go of his big brother and their childhood dream, resulting in a brutal cycle of destruction for the grimwalkers and the near genocide of the boilings isles. Where the main character's conflict stems from being pulled between an old, familiar but unkind world where she has only one person whos fighting for her, and a new, strange, horrifying but ultimately accepting world where she's grown a family that's now in danger of being turned into mindless puppets.
This is the thematic backdrop against which the collector and his kind have been set.
In other words: my friend who's seen spoilers was right. This episode IS going to make me cry

🧁I was so tempted to add an apple in a nature’s candy way but decided not to be a dick at the last minute
now I want an apple and cupcakes...
swinging to a different WIP, I don't believe I've shared the beginning of red line fic here yet 👀
Kim’s in danger.
This is supposed to be a tutoring session. And, by all metrics, it is one--he and Chay are sitting in Chay’s living room, on opposite ends of the couch, with a guitar in Chay’s lap and Kim coaching him through a tricky transition. Just like they agreed to do last week, when Chay had asked if he could help him with some things he’s been struggling with, and Kim had immediately made space in his schedule to tutor him, because he is Chay’s guitar tutor.
This does not feel like a tutoring session.
“Oh!” Chay gasps as he tries the bridge again. And he nearly gets it, fingers moving across the fretboard beautifully until he gets halfway through and his fingers cramp and falter from the unfamiliar movement.
“Oh…” Chay says with a pout. He shakes out his hand and tries the awkward finger movement again, frowning cutely as he can’t quite get his fingers to move the way he wants them to.
Chay looks to Kim, eyes big and adorable and dangerous. “Show me again?”
Thud thud thud, goes Kim’s heart, which is a stupid thing for it to do, because this is just tutoring.

sooooo i have come to the realization that i’m probably autistic and i’ve had many hyperfixations that are related to what i now realize is probably my special interest: crime
first up, forensic science. it’s been my thing since 6th grade and i’m a year away from graduating with a forensic science degree. clearly crime related
second, criminal minds. a show of crime fighters. pretty self explanatory
third, six of crows. a found family of criminals. again, self explanatory
and finally, my most recent obsession, leverage. once again, a group of found family criminals
