I’m considering just telling stories about my life growing up in a trailer in a small Midwest/South (Oklahoma doesn’t know okay) town and just inserting Eddie Munson as the main character.

To start us off here are a few things I know about Eddie without a doubt.

- Eddie walks with that kind of jumpy prance because he knows where the spots in the floor are soft and you gotta move around them like the floor is made of lava except in this case the floor is made of particle board and you might fall through it.

- Eddie has absolutely had to deal with an animal being under his house because there was a hole in the skirting and that animal was most likely a skunk.

- Eddie found out it was a skunk when Wayne made him crawl under the house to wrap the pipes for winter.

- Eddie has absolutely ate an astonishing amount of macaroni and tomatoes in his life.

- One time Steve and Eddie were hanging out at the trailer and heard some loud noises and Steve said “is that fireworks?” And Eddie said “Yeah. Wait no. That’s gunshots. Wait actually no it’s fireworks.” And honestly it could have been both.

Oh, don't mind me- I'm just trying to build a story about how when Parker was the master mind and Eliot was running ragged to help him relax (and sleep/doze,) she'd play with his hair. Eliot's sitting on the floor with his head on her lap and hair fanned over her jeans. All the while Hardison is sitting beside Parker playing computer games, his knee pressed against Eliot's shoulder.

Eliot's humming/purring and Hardison is slowly falling asleep and leaning closer, until eventually Hardison's head is on Parker's shoulder. And Parker is happy and content because she's safe and her boys are happy...

Is this sappy? Ridiculous? Has this been done before?

last night at dinner post-yoongi concert, we had a perfect little group of 7. according to everyone's age:

i was everyone's hyung, kim seokjin. i really took on the "hyung will do it" role and made sure everyone stayed fed and that their glasses were full (with the help of my jimin!)

my partner frank was min yoongi (love that for me).

chaotic little mango (@blog-name-idk) was jung hoseok. (fitting that you're the richest member hehehe 🤑 sorry i had to pee so much!!! i should have sat on the outside!!!)

memes (@madbutgloriouspond) with the namu thighs was our leader kim namjoon. (how many times have you made yourself spit-take? and then announce how happy you are. big joon vibes!)

pretty princess kelly (@here4btsfics) was our darling park jimin. (how many things did you consume that you were not supposed to, baby??? how do you feel today???)

our very sweet, very babygirl m (@here2bbtstrash) was our kim taehyung. (what an honor to dote on you when your soulmate wasn't busy doing so!)

and last, but absolutely not least, our darling little baby maknae mg (@echotoyou) was our jungkookie. (our group was already a delight but the positive energy rose greatly when your smiling face joined the table! i'm so glad you came out!!! safe travels today, lovely!!!)

my heart is so full after getting to be in the same room with all of these wonderful people. 10/10. the laughter and joy was unprecedented. thank you boongi week for bringing us all together! and my partner for being a champion and hanging out with 6 unhinged fanfic armies hehehe (he had a lot of fun!!!) 💜💜💜

Sometimes when I’m birdwatching

What a magical evening.

I almost didn’t go. It was a kind of a difficult day with a lot going on, a two-hour drive, and my plus-one had bowed out, so I’d be doing the whole drive myself and wouldn’t have anyone for Moral Support. To top it off I hadn’t had time to enter an eBird list, and my 1,782-day checklist streak is not stopping now. But I figured I’d have time for a quick list before it got dark when I arrived at Heritage Square, and I still remember how even Socially-Awkward Me overcame his fear to attend the Poeparty screening and how fun that was.

This was even better. The thing about Shipwrecked is, their whole history is a story of found family, of valuing people as people even in a sometimes-unkind world. Being able to live inside that for a few hours, celebrating dreams and caring and silliness and imagination with a bunch of co-conspirators, was something I won’t forget. Because these are my people.
