{~🍺 He’d gotten too reckless, too unfocused, unsteady and just pretty fucking careless. Sebastian always knew he should pay attention to his surroundings. Of course, being inebriated until you can barely walk dampens the capability to tell up from down much less be aware of everything around him.

The thugs had followed him, apparently knew he was a detective at one point and were looking to take out their anger on him for someone that was sent to prison because of ‘him’. Which might have been true but, he didn’t care. He’d slurred something about him deserving it, he’d tried to fight, but with at least...four of them? Two were able to hold him firmly while one essentially went to town on rearranging his face.

The other had picked up a crowbar and just smacked him so hard his head jerked and momentarily saw stars as pain reverberates up his jaw, he knows there is a great possibility that it’s dislocated. A burning pain sears his side before there is a slight tug before he feels his blood start to stain and soak his shirt.

They stabbed him.

The arms let go and just let him fall to the ground, there were several more blows with the crowbar and he’s sure he felt kicks.

His vision is blurry, blood sticking to the side of his face, down his mouth and every part of him was aching. There was laughing, mocking, and just...things that were said that he wouldn’t tolerate. He was unable to move, the alcohol still coursing through his system and the pain surging on his back, chest and head.

What he’s worried about is his side. Sebastian can feel the blood seep from the open wound and starts to stain the ground. Weakly, the man pushes himself so he can be on his side, tugging his jacket off, agonizingly to press against the wound...he’s not sure how much it’ll help but...it’s better then nothing.

Groaning once more Sebastian hears steps, they echo and start to fall away. Though a shadowed figure does stand over him and Sebastian wasn’t sure if one of them came back to finish the job. At this point in his life, he really didn’t care.

So Sebastian’s eyes close, just waiting. 🍺~}
