well. i got to play goodbye volcano high, in full. one ending, anyway.

i liked its dialogue system carrying forward disco elysium's ideas of having all three options be representative of your characters thoughts, with static, button prompts you have to hold to work up the courage to say some, some that'll lock themselves out as you hover over them or change into something else. its very fun and its utilized in a good way to sell your character. thats probably the one thing i enjoy.

spoilers below.

goodbye volcano high is a cartoon network show. something so incestuous about what it is, and what its obviously cribbing from and what it wants to be, despite no real way of knowing what that Glue is that holds things together. conversations are speeches thrown at each other to faint melancholic guitar chords from start to finish, words that trail off in ways that only allude to themselves and feel as if they hold no greater meaning outside of their immediate conclusion. things are made to be screencapped, but it doesnt come to you with any sort of wisdom meant to be passed on, with characters who have obvious arcs of plans being torn apart by way of the cataclysm that will end their lives, but for who many never learned to find stability with life to begin with to earn that upheaval.

the main character, fang, is someone who begins the game in transparent reminiscence to get the audience all pumped up and sentimental for that good old Senior Year feels, and is afraid of growing up and what that entails before the news of the apocalypse hits. they have one dream, and its a knowing fault that gets confronted eventually enough: to win the battle of the bands and Make It Big, playing a hit song for crowds with their best friends. its a dream thats intentionally immature, and i can't tell if its meant to be charming in how it can be irritating that even in their moments of connecting with the world around them, things are framed around said dream, a dream that isn't fleshed out. the sheer mention of college throws anxiety at them, with a family thats less than accepting of their identity, and friends moving away or drifting into interests of their own and becoming more whole people as they reach adulthood. these are the classic coming-of-age knots that take more than what the games approach to character writing can untangle as is, but the meteor plot point... makes it not matter. high school never ends for Fang. but worse is it never even really began.

Most characters are here to reinforce that "life comes at you fast, and the futures not set in stone" theme, but with not enough to truly make it worth it. Fang's brother learns to live his own life outside of parental expectations with one big Blowing Up scene from Fang over their band posters around school he took down, but with not enough to show him even beginning such. his role remains the dependable one, and the one who tells Fang to slow down. Trish's is a story about your passions leading you to a double life between friendship rituals and togetherness and individual pursuits and identity, with the game spent with her feeling meekly distant and flighty, landing only at the eleventh hour with a "im still going to be me, and we're still going to be us" speech with Fang. it wants to be touching but this character has not gone anywhere, a character arc as complete as the sentence "I am." you sure are. what now?

Reed I...genuinely dont even remember what his deal was. His worry over the meteor seeps into everything in his life down to his dnd sessions. sad!

Naomi is probably the one with the most going on, but this might be biased because I think she's very cute in a way that the rest of the cast tries to nail but fails to outside of Rosa. I'm a sucker for student presidents who Try Their Best, and works the most well with the greater plot as she realizes shes spent her life waiting and plotting for a perfect life that will never come. theres good ideas, not fully captured here but still, about the pressure of highschool, society, and her wants of a life where she has control over her destiny, with the moments (or well moment, with her texting Fang of her longstanding crush under an alias near the beginning of the game) she's most rewarded for involving her seizing the moment and accepting her anxiety. She has swings and roundabouts! It's not just an immediate fixing! She loses her shit at the cast during the final chapters, after years of repressing her desire to have her way with the world and her life, with chapters of her almost being pushed to the side and barely being present for the sake of everyone elses internal struggles, calling out Fang for their wishy-washiness in a good ironic turnaround, confronting the fact that she won't get the life she wants and still feeling cheated over it. It rushes itself to the end afterwards, but its idea is solid, and its a decently interesting concept to put this character archetype through, after the common conception of these characters being spiteful and shallow to have them turn out to be just someone nice. Plus the dinosaur thing comes together for her design in a way where its both recognizable shes a dinosaur and also still has character in a way that is appealing, rather than the rudimentary feeling the others have, with boxy silhouettes that dont work well for their personalities that don't animate well and generally carry nothing unique outside of big design Gimmicks like horns or frills. big fan, id kiss her snout and pet her horn...thing.

either way, like i said it doesnt matter. its a game about time and a lack of it, with a meteor that cuts off every character arc right before theyre able to become the people they want to be, without us getting the time to see the people they were before, for a game that crawled out from under development hell, and yet without the time to finish so many of the scenes it clearly had planned. but it doesn't matter. that's its moral. high school is something that sucks, in a world that sucks, and you wont find the closure you'll want but when its over, thank god, it'll be over. with that, this game is too.

best of luck to KO_OP, for finding a way to spite the god that clearly didnt want this to exist, and i hope theyre able to laugh and look back at this as the awkward chapter itll end up being in their history that haunts them no longer.

i love love loved her original outfit and design, i love a good nautical outfit and it skews towards navy design which is perfect if shes trying to fly under the radar. she can move in it but its still cute. honestly a very unassuming yet calculated outfit which is so in character for nami

oda, to my knowledge besides the weather wizards, has not had one peep about how her map is going nothing. honestly felt like her character is slowly becoming too one dimensional cause we dont have her do anything but get the ship out of sticky situation by instantly reading the weather or her money gags

books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or....... i guess comics, these days, but i HATE READING COMICS they juST HAVE MORE COMPELLING FANDOMS. book fandoms are PUNY nad everyone is STUPID. youd think actual literary fandoms would have reading comprehension and understanding of literary critique but no!!!!!!!!!!!!! its literally my eternal fuckign struggle. somehow comic fandoms hit the perfect medium between compelling, readable content and the enthusiasm of cartoon fans without the childishness of cartoon fans

LSKJDFNSLDJNSDFSDDF ive also pioneered many ship tags for other fandoms and i ship a lot of rarepairs and stuff but i dont think im RESPONSIBLE for them?? in that some ppl already were into them/talking abotu them or tht theyre still not popular (augh. to the ones that became popular) but i AM liTERALLY responsible for some crack shit in the pjo fandom and its. it haunts me sometimes. i dont want to talk about it. this is so vague. my headcanons are shifting and nebulous and aus are my constant companion in everything, but uhhhhhhghhusjkdjnsdg i think. roxy writes the same way dave draws comics. its extremely memey and meta and self aware and largely just for the personal lolz, and were all doing her a disservice by pretending her writing looks like roses, when in reality dirk is probably the one whod make comics the way rose makes books (which is probably why he doesnt make comics). its more of that thing where roxy and dave are the same and rose and dirk are the same ykwim. well YOU dont corvus but im sure someone else does

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

jason takes after bruce in terms of like. adopting entirely too many kids. he broods

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

harvey is a heartwrenching character when written well, with a complicated view of morality, heartbreaking ties to our main hero, and a lot of internal conflict. something about such a hopeful character deadset on making a different in the system becoming a victim of it, and the potential he has as a vehicle for critiquing the law.

percy is my favorite character from pjo bc it was the very first time in my life i ever read a book and saw myself in it. hes aggressive, impulsive, and rebellious, he fidgets and has a hard time standing still, he acts on emotion without always thinking it through, he gets in trouble in school and hands his mom a murder weapon to kill his stepdad, hes just... hes a lot of the things ive always gotten in trouble for, things i couldnt help being, and hes a hero. he means everything to me.

vriska, i will maintain until the day i die, is one of the best homestuck characters- maybe just characters?- ever written. shes dramatic, shes impulsive, shes manipulative and mean and creative, and shes just so messy about it. shes a mean girl in a way that feels real, where her trauma impacts and shapes her as a person, and shes complex, with warring wants, and people she cares about, and dreams, and shes so messy. shes rough and rude and shes doing what SHE wants to, being a version of herself that feels right to HER, rather than some caricature of the hot badass evil lady. shes thirteen!! and she FEELS thirteen. shes a thirteen year old weird girl who is kind of an asshole, and she means literally fucking everything to me. shes a pirate!!!!! shes a swashbuckling badass dressing up in her larping outfit and yelling at her friends on the playground to swab the deck and she is the bestest ever, the end.

i didnt mean for each one of these to be longer than the last but here we are.

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

i hate jdedave peace and love it just feels weird as hell to me. dave, for the most part, is hyper respectful of other peoples choices and boundaries but when it comes to jade hes always trying to mke choices for her, to protect her, and it gets to the point where even jade points out how much it bugs her. jades crush on dave also seems to come from a place of misunderstanding to me, admiring a lot of the parts of himself that he exaggerates and pretends to care about as a result of trauma. it always felt like a kid crush that they shouldve grown out of with time. dave also just sort of seems to... go along with whatever romantic relationships people push him into at that age, rolling with whoever flirts with him jsut bc hes trying to maintain the image of a player, so its really hard to take him seriously any time he hits on someone?

that is just my interpretation of it tho

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

well. i havent finished my reread of homestuck, so that feels difficult to comment on just yet, bc im sure ill have a different opinion when i do finish it. no one in dc gets character arc bc theyre all just undone immediately, so thats like. yeah. and in pjo the arcs are pretty weak bc 1) kids books and 2) RICK UNDOES THEM ALL. AUGH. regardless of all of this, i am going to say jason grace. he had a lot of development in like the last two hoo books, or maybe just like.... hints of how he couldve developed? promise? which rick immediately set fire to in toa when he killed him, but fUCKING WHATEVER. UGH.

anyway actually tho eleanor from the good place. bisexual icon. queen. probably one of the best character arcs of all time. the episode w her mom has some of the most powerful fucking dialogue ever and i think about it. all the time. i should rewatch the good place.....

its a widely accepted fact that if you have you are in a position where you have to watch a Ton of childrens television that bluey is, by far, the best option of the kids media out there. like its one of the few shows that thinks about the adults who end up watching these shows on top of the kids watching it and did small things to make it enjoyable for parents too.

like a major thing is the writing. it feels much more natural than shows that are specifically aimed at like. Teaching yknow theres no prompting kids to participate along or anything. the plotting is grounded - its just a show about a family. they arent super heroes, they dont go on grand adventures, they do normal, regular things.

i also read that for the voice acting of the kids in the show, rather than using professional adult voice actors pitching their voices to sound like kids, they often recorded actual children, many of them kids of people who worked on the show. which helps it feel much more genuine rather than faked

some Smaller things they do include the music. every episode is individually scored, so the musical cues dont get repititive and obnoxious (even if you are like me and work in a childrens hospital where bluey is often playing in the background) and also often incorporate classical music into the theme. Plus, the theme is easily the best one out there - no lyrics, just a fun little tune followed by characters saying their names. which is Far better than other theme songs that are usually just. repeating the same lines and the name of the show.

anyway. heres my unexpected bluey infodump. shout-out to the me who was almost a teacher which is part of why i find it so interesting to read abt why this show in particular is as loved as it is by both kids and adults lmao

#also the composer worked on survivor australia #its a cute show. the creator also ignored a lot of the like default molds kids shows are expected to fit into #like its expected that ur kids show will have a mom and a dad and a son and a daughter #but the creator said well no ive got two daughtwrs why cant my show #and also didnt stick w gender roles so the mom is the main worker while dad is home more w the kids #its just cute! and funny and makes me smile #would much rsther have bluey on all day than any ither show

i dont really have many predictions for the series, but i do remember hearing that its supposed to act as a transition between the second and third movies, so maybe itll be a good time to introduce amy? so theres not too much going on in the third? but idk i also dont want this to become an mcu type thing where you have to watch all the spinoff stuff to understand whats going on in the next movie. but i guess one spinoff isnt comparable to what the mcu has going on. but still i dont want it to become a pattern if theres more movies made after the third

as for the music thing, i would assume theyre able to use game music since friends from sonic mania was used in the first movie and green hill zone was used in the second and they were both completely unchanged. i would like some other music references though preferably stuff from 3d games because when people talk about how good sonic music is it is mostly the 3d games that get brought up but they havent used any of it in the movie stuff at all?? it would also be really cool if at least one crush 40 song was used, them doing the main theme for the next movie would be really cool but i have a feeling that wont happen so id just be satisfied with an already existing song being used even if its just the instrumental track

SPOILERS FOR MS. MARVEL

ok guys i expected this show to be pretty average.. nope. it was great. just 1 episode in and its already one of my favorite marvel shows. heres a bit of my thoughts on it -its so cool to see more representation. im not Muslim or Pakistani so i cant say anything about those aspects (tho im sure u could find stuff about it online from those more knowledgeable) other than its great to see other cultures and languages in a production like this. and like MoonKight they had what i assume to be cultural music, which was also rlly cool -ITS SO RELATABLE! LIKE SKDFJSGS;, i dont have the words. the fact that she daydreams all day about being a superhero, doodles during class, is a literal fangirl, and has parents who doesnt understand what she likes, is. so. relatable. this is the most ive ever seen myself in a marvel character, which is kinda the point of the show. but still. i was watching her talk about making her cosplay and looking at fanart and its just, i do those things. i have marvel shirts and dream about going to cons. the amount of, just feeling, i felt when her mom completely shut down her plan to go to AvengerCon is just, immense. like wow, so many ppls parents judge their kids for the things they like. the scene where Kamala tried to put something around her hips after her mom told her the outfit was too skimpy or tight (without even seeing it i might add) was something i just immediately felt. she didnt even need to monologue about why she felt the need to do it, i could instantly understand based on her action and expression. i cant put into words how this feels like a show that just gets us -her friendship with Bruno (im still not over that song why would u do this to me Disney). its so accurate to how friendship is and its so wholesome to watch. Kamala feeling out of place in school and being quite to meeting with Bruno and talking about the con? thats great, thats the friendships i wanna see. there was no romance, tho there may be based on the look they shared on the roof, but im surprisingly open to it. i usually never like romance in action based shows but they understand each other so well. their struggles and dreams, like even if their love is just platonic its still there. and i love to watch it (not to mention its the literal perfect superhero partner dynamic, the one who fights and the one in the chair) -the directing. ive had a lot of problems with Disney directing as of late (cough cough Boba Fett) but marvel shows have always been fine. WandaVision was rlly unique in its idea, so was Hawkeye, but none have stood out in just plain directing so far. until this. theres no weird shaky camera for no reason, no weird up close face shots (im looking at u The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), nothing like that. just good camera work and going 100% with the theme. the drawings coming to life on the walls and their texts becoming signs and Kamala's planning being animated/drawn. its like spider-verse and i love it. it seems so true to her character and the vibe of the show. reminds me of a movie i think exists where some guy in high school has the ability to make the things he draws real, but im not sure if i just made that up lol -references. some ppl call them easter eggs but either way their great. like me tell u i was screaming whenever i saw something from the greater mcu. even before the show started i noticed how MoonKight is now in the intro logo. there was a lot but some things i remember r the og captain america song at the con, the drawing mentioning his ass, also at the con, the trust a bro truck and original ms. marvel design as art during the end credits. im sure there was more and im kinda disappointed im not remembering them after just watching it -the mysteries. whyd the bracelet (idk if thats what its called but for now bracelet) give her powers? who r the ppl in the end scene (i dont think any other marvel show has had an end scene first ep)? will her old friend refriend her? OMG SHE STILL HAS THE POWER TO EXTEND HER LIMBS?? BUT NOW ITS LIKE CRYSTALS???

how i would run sm: NCT edition

this may be the longest post in this series, if only bc of how large the group is. i think instead of breaking things up year by year, it'll be in two parts. first part is the overarching structure and lore and the second will be more of a speculative section about what units i would make. that said: let's get into it

part one, the concept: neo tech is actually an interesting concept and theres a lot you can do with futurism, cyber aesthetic, etc. its a topic that can cover aesthetic, musical direction, album visuals, pretty much every aspect of the dynamic. now that being said, if you want to have lore with this kind of thing, i think it needs to be simple-ish. what i mean by simple is having a setting that is unique but not too complicated while also leaving room for the integration into a larger story (ie smcu/kwangya in this case). so keeping that in mind, and reiterating the idea of nct members being anyone anywhere at any time, i propose that the overarching nct world be a digital one.

so jumping ahead to the first song temporarily, i would have had 7th Sense serve as sort of an intro video to the nct world, not just the members. itd be sort of like a vcr where theres a lot of storytelling and the plot would go something like this: the members in the song are going about their daily lives missing something, finding clues to the NCity, and it ends with them meeting up in the digital world. some examples of what kind of story i mean include the SuperM SuperOne personal teasers, Cravity intro vcrs with the comet, the Loona Butterfly mv, and the Chuang 2020 theme song mv. we'll get into more specifics when the unit section starts

i think most of the nct content and mvs taking place in this digital world would be a good way to have the experimental music and mvs sm wants while also allowing for some kind of story and lore to take place in the background. this will especially come in handy for tying the groups together in a larger framework

second part, the units: this will be controversial perhaps, and has definitely been unpopular in the past, but there should be no fixed units of nct. hear me out.

the idea of anyone anywhere anytime should mean that we dont have a rigid structure for the group and honestly it probably is a negative for their careers that they are in such a set group. if youre going to have a group with this many members (speaking as the current 22 members), having set units doesnt allow for every member to shine and gain recognition. i think nct would benefit more from having smaller groups (2-5) doing more content than trying to push out 1/2 albums each year for all three units. these small groups would allow for more diversity in sound, more members to have an impact, more creativity and member input on the music, and better resting times/better pay for everyone involved.

7th Sense: i think this being the intro song makes the most sense and i do agree with some of the member choices. i think the sound is interesting and gives a unique vibe to the group. for the mv, id do like i said earlier but heres more details. i think it would be interesting to show the members in their daily lives and how different yet similar they are, mirroring the members themselves. i think playing on their specific strengths would be a good way to show the group and their own charms at the same time. for Taeyong, id put the focus on his compassion and love of animals. for Ten, id show off his dancing and his art skills. for Mark, i think showing the contrast between his youth and his skills is the best way to go. for Yuta, id show off his athleticism and his dancing abilities. for Taeil, id focus on his friendly personality and his singing. id also try to show how international the group is through these members, really cementing the anywhere anytime aspect.

the reason i chose those five is partially due to bias but also due to role. Taeyong has to be in the intro to nct bc he IS nct, hes the face of it and the reason it exists as it does today. Ten is easily one of the most talented members in the group in a variety of areas, and represents a multitude of places in the world. Mark is one of, if not the most, skilled rappers in the group and having him showcase the rap talent in the intro makes the most sense (also long ass ride is iconic). here's where my picks come in. i chose Yuta bc he has the smooth and sultry tone that the song needs (and personally, i think hes underutilized which everyone knows bc of how often i rant about him). Taeil is a really great vocal and would be able to do the high parts easily. the reason i swapped out Doyoung and Jaehyun is bc a.) i dont think the song needs both of them and b.) i dont feel like they fit the vibe of the song that much? i think theyre much better suited for the pop Exo vibe of Without You than a darker tone.

since i wouldnt do set units, heres what i would do. i would make the current units, but less often. id have the members focus more on solo, duos, and small groups. they should do what they do during the nct 20xx where they mix things up and make music outside of their usual groups.

some specific units i think would be good: Yuta/Jungwoo/Mark, Chenle/Kun/Renjun, Yuta/Ten/Shotaro, Taeil/Xiaojun, Yangyang/Sungchan/Haechan, Doyoung/Kun/Taeil, Jisung/Johnny/Jungwoo this isn't exhaustive bc you can make units for every member and every combination, just some i think would work well or want to see.

i think having the members pick and chose groups more would be a better move than trying to make set units for the 22 members. i think thats why theres such an overworking problem and a weird pay distribution, on top of opportunities outside of music for the groups and as solo members. Mark and Haechan would get to rest way more if they werent constantly doing music for two groups, which is kinda why they were going to graduate from dream in the first place. i dont agree with graduation concepts, so i think the mix and match concept is a good compromise to that. overall, my priority is fairness and the ability for members to have opportunities which i hope comes across in this post. i think this is everything i think about for the group, but if i have anything else to cover, i'll make a follow up. except for the tie-ins since thats a whole separate post

11. being a rock star

20/10 kinda doesnt sound like a lemon demon song but i still love it sm i even based part of one of my ocs after this song (if i ever write any songs about being a rockstar slap me please alright that aint me) 12. ask for nothing

10/10 big machine very funny also this sounds like another hip to the java bean song to me but in a good way (one million springs and spinning things its quite a view we have no clue what does it do thats the beauty of it it doesnt do anything) ((this has a cool story ngl)) (((kinda sounded like something from sonic at the very end of the last doesnt do anything???)))

im happy that accidentally letting youtube autoplay onto a whole-ass episode of the emperor’s new school (cropped in the corner of a still image of space, audio pitched up like in the good old days) resulted in me realizing i still had the whole theme song ingrained into my soul like a sleeper agent, subsequently making me wanna go back and revisit it.

most of the criticisms about it are completely right (objectificafion of malina, very little actual character growth/lessons learnt, missed opportunities for a show set within the incan culture), but man that movie was unintentionally the PERFECT setup for a television series like this. kronk constantly forgetting that yzma and principle amzy are the same person. the style switch as yzma hatches increasingly ridiculous plans, only to go with a much more sensible, less convoluted one in the end. a new gag for every time kronk pulls the wrong lever. AND a new gag for each time they go on the rollercoaster ride!

like honestly not to be corny but all i can think to say is “brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!”

yk for a while now ppl have been speculating where the frog kids are gonna end up and how the show’s gonna end, and ive seen a bunch of ppl theorize that marcys gonna end up moving away. and sure, maybe it would do them some good, but i really hope that doesnt happen

im not trying to theorize or predict the end, but i really hope that marcy gets to stay in amphibia. i havent rly seen that many ppl advocating for amphibia, so i figured why not.

now obivously amphibia is super dangerous and its done a lot of harm to the kids. marcy died there. its clearly not perfect, but you cant ignore how much good it did for marcy to go there (specifically marcy here).

earth was cool for marcy, i guess. he has his best friends, his media, and he excelled at school. but idk if marcy was truly happy on earth. we dont know much abt his homelife, but based on what we have seen of it, and marcys own actions, we can tell that it wasnt great. at best his parents are greatly misunderstood, and at worst… well yk.

and even if marcy had his best friends, he was bending over backwards to be with them. he would do all of the work in their group projects, and thats the only canonically confirmed thing we know. on top of that, they were already devoting a good chunk of their life towards academics. we saw marcy, a middle schooler, studying for the psats. and while that mightve been a mistake, theres still the fact that marcy was stuck studying in a library instead of celebrating their best friend’s birthday. theres a bunch more i could touch on, but the point is while marcy mightve been content on earth, they definitely werent happy.

and then they found the box. and the trio was sent to amphibia. obviously marcy shouldntve hid what they did from anne and sash, but we know this already. and despite how bad it was for anne and sasha in amphibia, i cant help but feel glad that marcy had a great time in amphibia. unfortunately we dont see much, but from their theme song takeover marcy clearly had a blast in their time there. its like they said, they came into their own as a person. marcy was given the chance to thrive in a place that catered to their strengths. and they did. they became a hero to the city with confidence they never wouldve gotten on earth.

of course it wasnt perfect either. andrias was a manipulative son of a bitch who used marcy and disposed if him the minute he was no longer of use to andrias. and while newtopia mightve adored marcy, he never made the kind of connection that anne made with wartwood. another post made a great point abt this already (i’ll link it if i find it) but a lot of the love marcy got in newtopia was conditional, and it played right into his deepest insecurities. he never got the support system that anne got, one that would care about him no matter what. at least, not yet.

thing is though, this can be fixed. we saw in the s3 trailer that olivia and yunnan go back for marcy, and they’ll likely become the support system that marcy needed: two newt moms that would care abt them no matter what. and with andrias set up as one of the big bads of the series, its almost guaranteed that he’s gonna be dealt with by the end in some way shape or form (at least i hope so oh god). meaning: no more andrias to manipulate the shit out of marcy.

of course its a lot more complicated than that. amphibia is still a super dangerous place to be, and its likely that a lot of pressure would be put on marcy if he stayed. but we know that marcy is capable of fending for himself in amphibia. he survived for five months there (not counting the time he got stabbed), and hes pulled off plenty of missions and dangerous quests. and even if he has a lot to work through, by thst point he’ll have a support system who’ll help him out.

it may be a lot to hope for, but i truly hope marcy is able to stay in amphibia. it’s done a lot of good for them, and i cant help but be optimistic about marcy making a place for himself there. in my best case scenario, there would be a way for people to travel between earth and amphibia, be it through the music box or the calamity powers, so marcy would still be able to visit earth from time to time. but, i think it would be good for marcy to step back from earth for a while.

THE PARALLEL BETWEEN JIN LING BEING A LIFELINE FOR JIANG CHENG AND A-YUAN FOR LAN WANGJI AFTER THE BATTLE AT THE NIGHTLESS CITY

and like . the fact! that lwj and jc dislike each other!!. jc projects blame onto him for wwx both “leaving” him and indirectly causing their families deaths and when hes so consumed by it he makes wwx an enemy, lwj is there now? trying to protect him?? and lwj, who can never understand the pain that wwx , indirectly or not put jc through, but who was right there when jc tried to kill him and will never allow him to hurt wwx again. and how they like. in a way project blame of their tragedies onto each other while dealing with some type of survivor guilt and in their own way still loving wwx through it all??? amd in way its kind of fundamentally selfish but also tragically understandable? and like when u put it against the fact that after he disappears during the sunshot campaign they were looking for him together and fought together??
