Not to get back on my soapbox but bruce & cass’s early relationship does make me want to eat drywall. any outsider could tell you bruce is obviously enabling cass’s unhealthy behaviors and yet he 100% completely believes he’s doing the right thing for her because that’s what he thinks he would have needed in that situation. and. that says some real interesting things about bruce as a person. wow, mr. wayne, are you totally sure that what you needed when you were cassandra cain’s age was someone holding you to impossibly high standards, keeping you shut up in a cave all day, training you until your lungs gave out and encouraging vigilantism to consume every aspect of your life? is that really what you think you needed? does this maybe stem from an ultimately twisted view of yourself, bruce?

Same person that said your art style scratches the inside of my head (I used the wrong your in the original ask smh)
I wanted to also say how much I love how you draw Shuichi <3 It's perfect, people have already complimented how you draw Kokichi (perfect, as well) so I thought how you draw Shuichi deserves some love as well
ive been looking through my drawing folders and have come to the conclusion that your definition of "perfect shuichi" equals to "stressed out of his mind", which i find hilarious /lh
i fucking love shuichi i find him to be such a compelling character. *puts this in your pocket when you're not looking*

i do not interpret kaz brekker as asexual or on the asexual spectrum because he canonically experiences sexual attraction and based on my reading of six of crows this is an important aspect of his character 🤝 because of his touch repulsion and trauma, kaz brekker has a complicated relationship with sex and a lot of other experiences that many asexual spectrum people can relate to 🤝 that's literally fine. there's nothing wrong with that. none of those experiences are exclusive to one identity. 🤝 when i was younger before i even started identifying as ace, kaz was the first character i saw that represented any of these experiences, and reading six of crows was probably a huge part of why i was finally able to accept that i'm ace.

anti tradwife backlash quickly turning into "you should never financially depend on a romantic partner unless it's a last resort" and i simply don't agree
there are plenty of reasons that people lean on their partners financially and they can't neatly be sorted into the "good and virtuous disability situation" and the "bad and evil religious situation"
also some of your takes are giving protestant work ethic, pull yourself by your bootstraps and never rely on anyone. and i don't love it!!

Not gonna lie but the way I went from being a Trigun Stampede hater™ that would deadass pause the ep not even 27 SECONDS into the episode to complain about the way it portrayed a character wrong
.. To being completely insane and extremely hopeful about what it could be is kinda funny.
Controversial Opinion but I genuinely believe that, if they do this right, they could make a better ending than Trimax's.
That's how hopeful I am rn.

As I understand it, Guzma is the SURVIVOR of the original Team Skull. Basically an old Kahuna pulled some shit, the original group got smited, and Guzma rebuilt the team but as a haven for kids that had nowhere else to go that he had wished for in his own childhood (those golf clubs wtf Gamefreak).
that's what it totally feels like it's implying, but some of the wording is so ambiguous, I wish we had a clearer picture of everything 😭😭😭

// Alright, throwing this out there before I sleep: now that I've done with my exam and I may have access to my laptop soon, I'd like to get back into the swing of things and write with more people! Like this post (or reply) if you want me to make a mental note to check out your blog / reach out to you about RPing!
Also, for reference, since this seems to be a Hot Fandom Topic: I consider myself neither proship nor anti. My rules page is pretty up-to-date with who I will/won't interact with.

5 episodes into Deadloch and this show is so much more fun when it isn't trying to pretend like it's not copaganda like genuinely a really fun mystery and executed super well and then the lib-ish politics of the show keep popping in like "hey fuck the gender binary" and "hey queer people don't murder, we get murdered" and "hey our lead is a lesbian cop" and it's like shut the fuck up already my god. like you're bringing up all these issues you're clearly not gonna fucking reckon with because you can't by the nature of the show unless this ends with cops getting abolished in australia so like what are you doing here, you know? like in the first few minutes of episode 1, the lead lesbian cop finds ACAB spray painted on her neighbor's garbage cans and we just haven't gone anywhere with that, it's not like used to critique the system or anything, and her response is just to get it cleaned up. so like. it's just kinda infuriating.

If you’re currently ONLY posting about the Israelis that are doing good things for Palestine/are against what their country is doing and pointing out when certain protestors that are not affiliated with the whole of the free Palestine movement are being antisemitic know I can fucking see you. Obviously these are important things to talk about as Israel does not equal all Jews and antisemitism should be called out every time because it’s fucking serious and disgusting that another entire group of people is being blamed for this genocide other than the colonists in charge and Zionists supporting it but you’re telling on yourself as only interested in covering your own ass and it’s embarrassing. I don’t know how you can see hundreds if not thousands of entire bloodlines being wiped from this earth and instantly think well um hashtag not all Israelis and that’s it. Again. I don’t blame the majority of the Israeli people for what’s happening I blame the governments tied up in this and those in the military who happily post bragging about the shit they stole and destroyed on tiktok. You may not have technically done anything pro Israel but like I said you’re obviously only interested in covering your ass and continuing to be seen as a good person without engaging with the absolute horror the apartheid state of Israel is carrying out and checking your pre existing beliefs.

Every time (and it's not an insignificant amount of times) I see someone use Helen's reactions towards/about Paris in the Iliad to extrapolate for the whole of the relationship in general, or, especially so, back into the beginning of it, I just roll my eyes.
(Especially as the fact that she's still attracted to him gets completely disappeared.)
We're going to take her complex and very understandable frustration and anger that comes at the end of a ten year war as gospel truth for how she felt in the beginning? Or even five years ago?
Especially so when, by her own words, she's been in Troy for twenty years? (Not that one needs to go with that. But just. That's the timeframe involved here, that was in at least some sources considered seriously and not as hyperbole!)
