i understand that there's a lot of heated feelings surrounding just the word 'febfem' because of its connotations that somehow they're ~better~ than bi women who insist upon male partners instead of female, or that some just use that label out of self-shame for being bisexual or w/e.. but this is just evil lmao

the problem with the whole "you have to face your traumas in order to overcome them" is that, when it comes to men, that logic doesn't work. if it comes to something like a certain phobia (ie. fear of spiders, fear of the dark, fear of something silly like balloons, etc), yes that type of advice is sound, because these types of phobia can cause an interference with a person's life that isn't wanted nor practical to keep around forever. i used to not be able to stand being in the same room with a small spider. now i can and i don't care as long as queen is chilling in her web.

but when it comes to men, who are the perpetrators of more than 90% of all violent crime, esp crimes against women, this line of thinking no longer becomes effective. bi women, who are often victimized at high rates due to moids stalking, hurting, raping and killing them (!!!!!) are doing the right thing by either abstaining from relationships completely or just being with women.

mebmen, or bi men who exclusively go with men, either don't label themselves or they falsely claim to be gay. and even then, they're not odd for wanting to be with the same sex exclusively. neither do febbies either lmao. 💀

people REALLY think homosexuals have the power to have mind control and force bisexuals into being with the same sex exclusively or that somehow it's the lesbians fault that some bi women are so scared of men that they'd rather kill themselves than let another scrote touch her again. and i'm sorry but naur.

Machete at the Olympics what will he do??

Well he's anything but fit and athletic, he doesn't have strength or stamina, and even as a sighthound his running speed leaves a lot to be desired. He has low cold tolerance so that rules out most winter sports, and he's not much of a team player. He is very precise and has great fine motor skills so I was thinking of shooting, but I'd imagine you need good eyesight for that, and he's nearsighted with astigmatism and lower than average depth perception. In modern au he wears contacts and they help him noticeably, but because his vision problems are caused by albinism, they can't be fully corrected with surgery or glasses. Fencing might be an option, it's mostly about concentration, strategy, speed and accuracy. It would also neatly tie in to their canon setting, since to my understanding a lot of the principles of modern fencing are based on 16th century Italian sword fighting techniques. But that's just a guess, I'm not that familiar with the sport at all, or how physically demanding it actually is.

I grew up with Friends, which I got my sense of humour from Chandler; The Whole Nine Yards was one of my favourite movie in my teenage years. The Odd Couple were good reboot. I have his memoir, haven't read it, now is good time.
