Attending a Party Thrown by Each Radiant Order
As requested by anon. :)
You've been invited to a party! Actually, ten parties. But the twist is that each party is thrown and attended only by a single Radiant order and also we're in some kind of quasi-modern AU. What would each party be like?
[Previously: Radiant Orders play boardgames, have sleepovers, and go to musicals]
1. The Lightweaver Party
The invitation is a glossy, stylized illustration of a hand holding a wine glass--a true work of art. You later find out that every invitation is unique; no two are the same. The invitation leads you to a large ballroom-esque hall. "What is your name tonight?" asks a masked figure at the door. "Uh...Fred?" you say. You had not planned this. "Welcome...Fred," they say and let you in. It is shadowy inside, perhaps because all of the light comes from fairy lights and electric candles. Everyone is masked--including you, as per the invitation. People glide about, talking and laughing in low voices. It's not unwelcoming exactly, but certainly...surreal.
2. The Windrunner Party
The invitation is a couple of dudes saying, "Hey, there's a thing. Wanna come?" when you run into them at the bar. "The thing" appears to be some kind of picnic at a local park: you were told it was a potluck, so you did bring a macaroni salad, but the focus seems to be the large pot of stew that one of the men is making. There's a lot of eating and laughter and sunshine, and frankly a lot of hot people in uniform. You have a good time. Even if the Captain is just a little bit glowery the whole time.
3. The Edgedancer Party
A roller skating rink! You haven't been to a roller skating rink in sooo long! You're honestly psyched. As you do your best to skate around, others glide smoothly past you, looking like they were born skating. When you take a break to eat a mediocre but nostalgic corndog, a couple of them sit with you and you get to chatting. You're just at a skating rink, eating a mediocre corndog, but somehow...you've never felt so heard. When you go back to skating, you're skating with maybe a tear in your eye.
4. The Stoneward Party
It's just a party at someone's house, where everyone brings a case of beer or a bottle of wine or a snack food, and everyone drinks out of red solo cups. But you know what the vibe is? Convivial. Like, people are waving you over to join their conversations and asking about your hobbies and at one point? Someone suggests a party game? And everyone plays? Like, it WAS a pretty competitive game of charades, but everyone seemed to be having fun the whole time.
5. The Truthwatcher Party
Their party was at a local bar and on trivia night. The party was immediately pretty boisterous--someone brings up politics, like, immediately, and then everyone is happily shouting their thoughts back and forth across the table. But when trivia time hits, the mood turns serious.
6. The Dustbringer Party
It's in the basement of a warehouse that you're pretty sure is due for demolition. Certainly, it does NOT feel particularly structurally sound and there IS a lot of, like, concrete dust and debris everywhere. But once you get downstairs--well, this is not just a party. This is a rager. There is music and alcohol and drugs if you want 'em, and people are shouting and dancing and generally having a good time. "When you're like us, you GOTTA let loose every once in a while or you go INSANE!" someone says to you at one point. "It's about release?" you say and everyone in a five-foot radius groans at the pun.
7. The Willshaper party
It's drugs. Lots of drugs. Some of them are illegal, some of them aren't, but the people here would definitely scoff if you tried to make that distinction.
8. The Elsecaller Party
Well, it certainly is a very correct party. You receive an RSVP, and it's clear that you are meant to respond. In writing. Which you do. The RSVP lets you know that the party is semiformal, and that the dinner course will begin at precisely 7pm, so you do not even try to do the whole "fashionably late" thing. You are there by 6:55. Good thing, too, because everyone else is already there. "Everyone" being Jasnah and one small, inky man. Have you ever had dinner with your dissertation advisor who is also your mom somehow? Well, then you know how this party went. You were SWEATING the whole time.
9. The Skybreaker Party
When they checked your ID at the entrance to the small event hall they had rented, you laughed and asked if they wanted to make sure you were over 21. Their expression in reply told you that this was not a joke. Inside, there is a cash bar, and some hors d'oeuvre being handed around on plates. The people inside are mostly talking about their recent accomplishments in a way that makes you feel that they are all very stressed and trying to prove something. "It's a test," says a bald man who appeared very suddenly next to you. "A test of what?" you ask, suddenly very afraid. But he is gone.
10. The Bondsmith Party
You're at a party, and it's just you and two other people. The two other people? Married. You feel like you're crashing a date. They're being very nice and you are being included in every conversation but you're also literally the third at a party with only two other people who are married. You can't help but think this would be WAY less awkward if there were just ONE more Bondsmith. But who knows if THAT will ever happen!

Hello everyone looking for a new fantasy tabletop game!
As it nears backer release, there's never been a better time to pre-order Exalted: Essence
Pre-ordering gets you access to the beta document and the early release backer pdf.
What's Exalted you ask?
Exalted is an epic fantasy TTRPG where players play the titular Exalted - humans elevated to superhuman/demigod status - in a wild and unique setting that draws inspiration from the ancient world rather than medieval Europe. Creation (the setting) draws key inspirations from the entire world. If you're used to having to make yourself visible on your own in other fantasy, there's probably some representation in Exalted.
It has explicit queer and trans themes about finding your people, creating your own identity, and having the power to punch back at the people who hate you. This isn't incidental. The writing staff is queer as hell. You can hear me break this down more here.
Curious to learn all you can? Well you can get a detailed overview of the entire game on the podcast Systematic Understanding of Everything hosted by myself, @presidentofbirds and @phillycuriosity
If I'm used to D&D 5e why should I pick this up?
Well, I presume if you're reading this post you're already interested in trying something new, so:
The entire game in one book. Exalted: Essence is self contained, character types, equipment, enemies and all!
An exciting style of fantasy that's different than classic D&D but like, textually gay, and very easy to have scenes like ballroom fights, epic galas, and touching homoerotic healing scenes - no house rules required.
But also, tactical depth and combat you can really sink your teeth into if fighting monsters and villains is your bag.
An excuse to use all your d10s at once
Character building and advancement mechanics designed to be familiar to a 5e audience. Characters "level up" based on story beats, and have Advantages, which are functionally similar to class and race features.
A world welcoming to most heroic archetypes, so it's easy to convert your favorite OC.
Extremely kissable dragons, demons, gods, elementals, ghosts, faeries, and unnamed ancient horrors
I'm a fan of a previous edition, what's Essence got for me?
Design focused on alleviating some of the previous versions' missteps
Virtues are back, baby
2e fans will find it an improvement from second edition's mechanical strengths - it's pretty easy to convert all your favorite 2e Charms to XS.
Streamlined versions of familiar rules to make it painless to introduce new friends to the game we love.
The Cliff's notes on Ex3's new Exalt types.
Did I mention it's all of Exalted in one book?
How does it play?
d10 dice pool looking for 7,8,9 as successes. 10s count as two successes, which can lead to explosive, heroic outcomes
Combat system designed to keep all players engaged the entire time - even characters who aren't focused on fighting at all.
Combat also narrows the gap between experienced and new players and players who want to win at RPGs and players who just wanna vibe so GMs aren't tearing their hair out trying to balance encounters.
Social system designed to resolve in a single roll so you can be immersed in role play and not interrupt it with constant rolling - without sacrificing a variety of social approaches
"Ventures" system for characters working on long term projects from traveling across the world to crafting magical wonders to building communities without forcing this to be "downtime" activity
Characters have access to Charms - exception-based special powers that make them extremely good at whatever they focus on.
It's easily my favorite game (and the project I developed that I'm the proudest of), so I'm excited for everyone to try it out.

Aight, I’m invested I guess. Here’s my Far Fetched Probably Inaccurate More Speculation Than A Theory theory for Wish: Magnifico isn’t completely human or a shooting star like the Star we see — he’s either a manifestation of a wish Amaya made or Amaya once used a wish to save his life
Magnifico specifically says “it’s genetic, I got these genes from outer space!” about himself, which is very specific wording — either he’s completely from space, or magic from space warped his genes. He also has a magic book and I can’t think of a reason he would if magic is innate to his very being, down to a genetic level — maybe it belongs to his Not Innately Magic wife?
Amaya is a unique character in Disney canon in that she’s the Major Big Bad’s spouse — most classic Disney villains in their major animated movies are single or widows, while Amaya is very much alive and well. So she must be important, otherwise what’s the point of her character? Marketing also had super downplayed her, which tells me she has a major role in the story that they don’t want to give away
Amaya’s few lines in the trailer focus on Magnifico (surprise surprise, they have two minutes tops to market this thing and a focus on the hero and villain takes priority over showing rounded out characterization). Still, she seems big on praising him in a similar way he praises himself — calling him handsome and seeming impressed at what she thinks is his work. Yes, there’s being a supportive significant other, but there’s a strange vibe to her words, like she has a personal investment in his achievements beyond just being married to him. I also saw her giving Magnifico concerned/protective looks, like she’s specifically worried about his well-being. Idk I feel like someone finding a shooting star and not sharing it isn’t necessarily worth giving “who’s messing with my hubby” death glares — maybe she’s worried about this shooting star undoing the wish she used for him
She’s noted to be his sounding board/the person who keeps him in line in marketing, so she must know what he’s up to and helping him hide it from the people of Rosas
Magnifico is cocky and self obsessed, but I get the impression that this isn’t the reason he grants so few wishes. He gets super serious and even solemn when talking to Asha about it. He’s kinda a dick where his kingdom is concerned, but he takes wishes seriously. He genuinely doesn’t seem to be holding back granting wishes out of selfishness, because he does grant quite a few — fourteen in a year might be just a drop in the ocean, but that’s still a solid amount. Imagine fourteen people going viral during an internet challenge, or fourteen people on an organ registry getting transplants, or fourteen people getting their degrees, etc, etc. That’s genuinely not a nothing amount of people! Maybe being alive due to wish magic gives him a different perspective on it and what he deems necessary vs unnecessary (and whether or not he’s a hypocrite would make for a compelling character dimension)
Listen this isn’t “evidence,” I just want Amaya to have autonomy in this story, and the only other ways are if she’s a Plot Twist Villain working with/above Magnifico (badass, but I’m pretty sure this was specifically scrapped by the writers early on in the process) or if she hits him with a stack of divorce papers (iconic behavior, but imagine a theater full of five year olds with complicated family dynamics watching this — I don’t see them celebrating with the characters on screen like they might’ve when, say, Anna decked Hans in the face). Her specifically being the reason Magnifico exists and the complicated feelings all around that would result from this are amazing to imagine, plus it can go with both Good!Amaya or Evil!Amaya
Idk maybe Amaya had a cross between Aladdin and Encanto moment — she consciously or unconsciously wished for a handsome king to save her from whatever and since a king needs a kingdom Rosas was created. Or Amaya stumbled across a dying boy who wanted to create his own kingdom and made a wish for him to survive, with that wish giving him powers in the process

Absence of Chaos
Summary: WandaNat find an interest in Bucky and Sam’s new fairy friend.
Pairings: WandaNat x Fem!Fairy!Reader
Genre: Fluff/Hurt/Comfort, light angst (tiny teeny weeny fight)
Warnings: Light HYDRA torture, blood, poison, family member death.
Words: 3,743
A/N: I kinda went off a Winx x Maleficent vibe because I love both of them dearly. Yes, I was a Winx Club child, but I went with the latest Winx Saga thingy because I couldn’t be bothered to look at everything from Winx. This is also my ‘best’ version of the fic I wanted to write, and the other one will come out tomorrow (aka here). Later gator!

When you met Bucky, you weren’t expecting him to bring you around to his friend’s compound. He had found you in an abandoned HYDRA facility with Sam, the both of them concerned for your well-being at the sight of your small form.
They brought you back to the compound after spending a week at theirs, to which they were now introducing you to the other Avengers. Sam and Bucky sat beside you whilst Steve, Vision, Clint and Thor sat across from you, the two women standing behind them.
Natasha and Wanda.
They were equally as stunning as the other, but they had their own pieces of individuality. Natasha’s red bob matched greatly with her bright emerald eyes, whilst Wanda was darker overall with long brunette strands down her shoulders and forest green irises.
“So, Y/N…” Sam drew your attention and you looked at him, the others immediately picking up on your shy behaviour.
“Do you wanna tell them what you told us?”
Bucky noticed your anxiety rising and offered his metal hand. You took it, tracing your fingers through the grooves of the metal plates, and exhaled slowly.
“Uspokoyte svoy razum. Sosredotoch'tes' na mne. (Calm your mind. Focus on me.)” He muttered, watching you nod again.
Natasha adjusted her stance from looking at you side on, to front on. You had her attention.
“Feya. I do not know the English word for it, I am sorry.”
“A fairy.” Natasha translated, her voice surprising you with its gravelling tone.
You gave her a gentle nod. “Fair-ee. Fair… Fairy.”
Wanda smiled at you calmly and you continued to explain. “Every fairy’s wings are different. It’s what makes us unique. Mine are… were… like owl feathers. White with a few spots at the end.”
Natasha pulled out her phone and scrolled through before she showed you photos of a snowy owl, your eyes lighting up at the sight of something that matched you.
“Yes! My wings!” You beamed.
They all grinned as you smiled, but your smile slowly faded and became a downcast expression, theirs following into concern.
“Y/N, can we show them? It might help.” Sam asked softly, keeping his hands where you could see them until you nodded.
You stood quietly and turned around, with the boys holding your shaking knees steadily as you stripped your shirt off. All of them were shocked, but tears pricked Wanda’s eyes and a slight gasp came from Natasha.
“HYDRA liked them. So HYDRA… kept them.” You murmured, feeling a sudden wave of vulnerability whilst you put your shirt back on.
You sat down and looked at each of the Avengers with your glowing purple eyes, seeing some of their minds on alert whilst others… two minds… wanted to calm you down. You looked at the women and they immediately understood, coming towards you slowly.
“Y/N… what kind of fairy are you?” Natasha asked, taking your hand from Bucky’s so she could trace the creases of your palm.
“M-Mind. And a b-bit of Forest.” You replied, your body trembling slightly.
Wanda sent out a thought to the other Avengers and they all slowly left, with Sam and Bucky leaving last as they gave you a comforting smile. Natasha and Wanda came to sit next to you, still keeping their hands in view.
“Y/N, may we touch you?” Wanda murmured, watching you give her a small nod.
She called a blanket to you and let it conceal you in a cocoon of warmth before touching you, wrapping you in a loose hug as Natasha came up to your back and felt the lumps of muscle underneath your scars.
“What are these, Y/N?” She lightly touched them, so lightly that you didn’t know what she was referring to at first.
“Muscles for my wings. But I don’t need them any more.”
The two of them simply held you until you stopped trembling, which was a while, and a wave of exhaustion came over you. The two of them were so comfortable - Wanda’s fingers were running through your hair whilst Natasha hummed a lullaby next to your ear.
“Are you tired, Y/N?” Natasha paused her singing to ask you.
“Hm, what?” You mumbled, your eyes half-open.
She chuckled softly and felt your whole yet light weight fall against her, Wanda’s ministrations halting for a second before you whined. She didn’t do anything for a second and you shrugged your shoulder at her, taking her hand to gently glide along your skin whilst she chuckled.
“I think we have a tired little fairy on our hands, Tasha.”
“I think we do too.” The Widow replied.
“‘M so tired.” You murmured, tears escaping the corners of your eyes.
“We know, Y/N. We are so sorry that you went through all of that pain.” Natasha cooed, her arms pulling around your waist to pick you up.
“Would you like to come and sleep in our bed?”
You nodded against the skin of her neck and she easily lifted you off of the couch, your arm hanging to hold Wanda’s hand as you were taken to their room. Natasha lay you down on the bed and you sighed into its comfort, but shivered from the icy sheets.
“Shh, shh. We’re coming, little fairy.” Natasha lightly shushed you as Wanda peeled pyjamas onto all three of you, closing the blinds and the door to fill the room with darkness.
But you didn’t like that, and suddenly, a soft green glow came from above you.
“Whoa.” Wanda muttered, poking Natasha to see what you had done to their bed frame.
The plants from the balcony had stretched into the room, climbing along the wall before a glowing green flower bloomed, a small vine attached to your head as a glamour fell away to reveal small golden horns poking out from your skull.
Wanda and Natasha gasped in awe as they immediately reached to touch, but they stopped and asked for your permission first. “Y/N? May we touch your horns?”
You shook your head slightly and your voice did the same. “Please, no. They’re very very sensitive. HYDRA d-didn’t understand.”
They both nodded and you soon felt that warmth flood through you, making you whimper slightly. “Easy, Y/N. Easy easy easy.” Natasha murmured, running her hand up and down your thigh.
“That’s it. Nice deep breaths for us, baby girl.” Wanda added, tickling the hairs at the base of your neck.
When you calmed down, you nestled further into Wanda since she was who you were facing. She chuckled at your antics before a question came to her mind, a flash of purple in your eyes as you read it.
“If you want to know more about me, you just have to ask.” You giggled softly.
Wanda pulled away slightly and you grinned up at her. “So you’re a Mind Fairy, huh?”
“And a Forest Fairy.” You added cheekily, to which Natasha laughed.
“Yes yes. But Mind Fairy - that sounds ominous.”
“Oh, it can be. Many Mind Fairies discover the ‘true’ potential to our power and go dark, controlling powerful people like politicians for their personal gain. But they always lose.”
Natasha pulled you in closer to her when you didn’t continue to talk, your eyes wondering like you were looking for something but you weren’t quite sure what it was.
“Do you… Do you have any family left? Any more fairies?” Wanda asked quietly.
You shook your head. “No. My father died trying to stop HYDRA from getting to me and my mother didn’t love me. She thought I was a freak, being more Mind than Forest. Mind Fairies are often underestimated, but bullying from a young age often tends to shove them in the corner and be forgotten. Forest, Fire, Water, Air and Light Fairies are the predominant elements, almost all of them capable of numerous combat feats. But me…”
You took a breath and noticed how they were listening patiently. “HYDRA made me control people. Take their pain, give them more, anything and everything they wanted. They gave me enough pain to do so.”
You began to tremble again and they moved further against you, putting pressure on almost every part of your body. “Please… Please don’t let them take me back. I’m begging you.” You shook your head.
“Not ever, Y/N. You’re stuck with us.” Wanda murmured, kissing your forehead.
“Can… Can I?” You asked slowly, feeling Natasha nod against your shoulder.
“Of course, lyubov (love). You can be a part of our relationship.”
You exhaled shakily as they both kissed your temples, keeping you warm as you fell asleep.

After a month of getting to know one another, you began to get more comfortable around the other Avengers. Tony liked it when you would come and talk to him about his machinery, Steve would listen to your stories and Thor would make you laugh like no other.
Well, except for your girls.
When they had gone for a mission, you were left alone in their bed (since you had nowhere else) and you held onto their pillows tightly. When they returned, Wanda found your racing mind being subdued by constant noise in the form of music. Tony made you some headphones when Natasha mentioned it in one of their daily coding sessions, and you thanked him profusely since you were currently stealing Natasha’s headphones that weren’t comfortable. The overhead headphones were helpful as they surrounded your ears with complete noise-cancelling, leaving your mind to be calmed when your girls weren’t around.
Parties, however, were not as helpful. You wouldn’t stay for long, even if you had spent more than two hours getting ready, and the girls could never find you since you never went to one place.
Right now, you were debating going to your second favourite spot, the roof, until you felt your powers flare and turned around.
“Hey you. Sorry if we startled you.” Wanda grinned, noticing your nerves as your fingers played with each other.
“I-It’s okay. Just…” You moved closer towards them and took each of their hands, your eyes now a darker shade of purple but it was constant, and a satisfied sigh left your lips.
Now they were worried. “Y/N, honey, are you okay?” Natasha asked, with Wanda checking over your mind.
“I-I’m okay, I promise.” You nodded, keeping their hands in yours whilst the night carried on.
As time passed, guests were making their way home whilst you were still wedged between your girls, their jackets covering your cold body. Now that you were just with your Avengers, you let your glamour drop and took the soda drink offered by Sam.
“Thanks.” You muttered, lightly sipping on it.
Wanda’s eyes hadn’t stopped glowing and neither had yours. She was on alert since you had said you were okay, but now she was starting to get tired. She leaned her head on your shoulder and you snaked your arm around her waist, hearing her yawn softly.
“Tired, baby?” You asked quietly.
“Mhm.” She replied shortly.
“Me too.” You let your head fall on top of hers until you felt a certain assassin start to wiggle her toes underneath your thigh.
You looked up at Natasha and she grinned at you whilst holding her beer, sipping on it as she made conversation with the boys. It soon died out and the mention of sleep had popped up a few times, enough for the signal to be read and for everyone to get the memo.
However, Wanda was already there, and moving her off of you was something you couldn’t imagine doing. The ones who wanted to sleep left, and soon it was just you three, Sam, Bucky and Clint.
When Natasha fell asleep with her head resting on your thigh, Sam spoke up. “You seem really happy, Y/N.”
“I am.” You muttered a reply, stroking baby hairs away from Natasha’s beautiful face.
“They are definitely happy to be with you.” Clint smirked.
“Can I?” He held up his phone and you nodded, kissing Wanda’s forehead in one photo and stroking your thumb on Natasha’s cheek in another.
“This will be so good for Christmas.” He chuckled cheekily, leaving you be.
Bucky was watching you closely and saw how relaxed you looked, which he had never seen before. His mind wandered and you briefly looked over it before you chuckled.
“What do their minds sound like?” He asked calmly, smiling at you with a sense of pride.
“They’re the calm to my storm.”
He snickered at your description and you blushed. “Sorry, there’s no other way to explain it. Their minds aren’t… empty, so to say, but calm, controlled even. Being with them, touching or holding them, makes me focus on that control and it spreads to me in comforting waves.”
You let out a soft yawn and Bucky stood, gathering blankets from the cupboard nearby that he covered you all with. “Have fun.” He smirked, kissing the top of your head as he left and you fell asleep.
⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖🜃🜂🜁🜄⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖⧖
Over a few weeks, you three did all you could to grasp stolen moments. Whisking one or both of the other away to have a quick make out session, or even just a light touch around the hip or shoulder whilst making coffee in the morning. Movie nights were a blast, but you never actually made it through a movie - with them at your sides, the tranquillity they brought you was astounding.
But of course, fate was a cocky little shit.
An attack of the Black Order had come to the compound, and whilst Thanos and his goons were killed before they could get Vision’s Mind Stone out, you were hit harder than anyone.
Corvius Glaive’s… well, glaive, had not gone through Vision’s head, but rather Natasha’s stomach in an effort to protect Wanda whilst she tried to heal the synthezoid. You screamed bloody murder, and a vine snapped Corvius’ neck as you caught her whilst she fell.
“Natasha! No, no, no, no, NO!” You howled, your eyes turning an almost black shade of green as the Order members were slaughtered by thorny vines.
Wanda gripped Thanos between her tendrils of power and ripped his head clean off, the gauntlet of stones falling off of his hand. She picked you up by two arms around your waist, pulling you away from Natasha so that the doctors could get to her.
You followed behind and Wanda heard you wince every time Natasha groaned in pain, your feet only coming to a stop as the doctors found an empty room.
“It’s an extra-terrestrial poison. We have to flush it out of her system, but she needs to stay still.” Cho ordered as she reached for leather straps to hold her down.
Clint rushed in behind you both and came to his friend’s side, holding her hand as it shook. “Nat, I need you to stay still, okay? Stay still and Cho can fix you.”
“It hurts! It fucking hurts!” The Widow howled back, the sclera of her eyes blackening as the poison spread further.
Wanda reached for your hand, but you tapped hers away and ran out of the room. You bolted down the hallway until you found your headphones, clasping them onto full blast as you sat down at the kitchen table.
Natasha’s pain was only comparable to one other thing, and that was saying something. The poison hurt like knives had been exchanged for her blood cells and like fire licked at every pore of skin, even if covered in sweat and dirt. Her mind begged for it to stop, for all of it to just stop, and the dark thoughts in her mind were winning.
“Y/N, what the hell?” Wanda growled as she saw you sitting down, headphones pressed against your skull until she ripped them off.
You gently took them back and held them within your shaking hands. She sat down next to you and reached out towards you, but you flinched and she retreated. “You can’t just… run away, Y/N. She’s in pain, and you are possibly the only one who can heal her-”
“Please, just leave me alone.” You begged in a broken tone.
“I know you care about her, Y/N. God, your dreams are filled with you confessing your love to us. So go and fucking… HELP HER!”
“THAT’S THE GODDAMN PROBLEM, WANDA!” You howled back, your voice much louder than hers as you slammed your fist on the table.
You stopped and saw a splinter of wood in your fist, taking it out before your skin healed. “That’s… That’s the fucking problem, Wanda. I can’t do it, I can’t feel someone die. Not again.”
“What?” She asked softly. “Y/N, honey, what?”
“When my dad died… trying to save me from HYDRA… I was with him, and I felt… everything he felt, the moment it happened. I felt him slip off, his soul drifting away from his body, and it hurt like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”
Wanda watched your face be consumed by another wave of tears whilst your speech sped up. “That’s why I can’t do it, Wanda. I can’t do it, my love, I can’t feel it again, please don’t make me feel it-”
“No no no, it’s okay. It’s okay.” She cooed as she caught you whilst you stood up, trapping you in a warm hug.
“Shh shh shh, Y/N. It’s okay, you’re okay. You don’t have to if you don’t want to, mica mea zana (my little fairy).”
She rocked you gently until another of Natasha’s cries came from the main room, making Wanda leave you crying on the floor as she came back to Cho’s aid.
“Oh my God…”
The amount of blood on Clint and Cho’s arms was enough to make her queasy again, but she held it down and moved to her side. The archer looked up at her in fear. “She’s not going to make it; we can’t slow down the infection when she’s thrashing around.”
Wanda gripped Natasha’s shoulder. “Come on, come on, stay with us, Tasha. I can’t lose you after just learning to love you.”
She turned away to catch some tears that were smudged with Natasha’s blood, only to hear the redhead’s ragged breathing mutter a name.
“Y/N? What… What are you doing?” The wounded woman asked, watching you take her hand as you looked her in the eye, leaving her to admire the purple ring.
“I think it’s your turn to take some peace from me, moya lyubov (my love).” Your smile broke as you took her shaking hand with one of your own, covering them both with the free one.
“I love you, Natasha. I love you, Wanda. I love you both with everything I have and…” You hissed in pain, your knees shaking until Wanda came up behind you and held you upright.
“And if that kills me all over again, I’d take it, because I love you.”
Natasha nodded profusely, her breathing slowing. “I… I love you too, Y/N/N. I do, I really do.”
“Same here, little fairy.” Wanda muttered by your ear, catching you again as you doubled over from the pain.
You chuckled painfully as a surge of power rushed in you and you growled out, taking all of Natasha’s pain and rendering her still. When you opened your eyes, Natasha watched as green and purple mixed perfectly with one another, healing herbs growing by Cho and Clint’s side that they immediately began to use.
“Shh, shh, shh.” The Widow cooed, wanting nothing else but to hold you close and let her fingers dance up and down your back.
“I’ve got you. I’ve got you both and I’m not letting you go.”
“We’re… We’re trapped in your little web, aren’t we?” You chuckled, another whimper leaving your lungs whilst Wanda kissed your neck softly.
“Y/N, the effort could kill you.” Bucky’s worried voice came from the door, not wanting to lose you as well as his ex-lover.
“Then so be it.” You muttered, your arm shaking as it held onto Natasha.
“Y/N, please…” Wanda begged, tears of her own falling against your skin.
You turned to her and she kissed you easily, but the emotion and grasping of your shirt made her point clear. You pulled away and gave her a short peck, turning to the worried redhead. “I’ll hold it off as long as I can, okay?”
“Promise me, Y/N.” Natasha stated.
You hesitated and she barked. “Promise me! Promise us!”
“Okay, okay. I promise, Natalia Alianovna Romanova and Wanda Marya Maximoff, that I will only go for as long as I can.” You answered, which was good enough for them.
It took a while for Cho and Clint to drain Natasha’s body of the poison whilst preventing it from spreading, but your healing herbs definitely saved her life. You fell asleep holding her hand, the pain now numbed against your body, but when you woke, it was a whole different scenery.
Natasha and Wanda lay with you in the middle of them, your entire body wrapped in them. Sheets and blankets covered all three of you whilst you lay in bed, your sudden jolt alerting the two of them.
“Easy, easy, easy.” Natasha cooed, pulling you down to lay back in her arms.
“You did so well, Y/N/N.” Wanda praised, cupping your cheek with her soft hand as she gave you a short kiss.
“H-How are you feeling?” You asked Natasha and she pulled up her shirt to reveal the forming scar.
“No more bikinis, that’s for sure.” She joked, but you grabbed her waist and checked over her skin, kissing it softly before pulling away.
“Ow.” You groaned as your body ached.
“Yeah, Cho said you might be a bit stiff after that effort.” Wanda chuckled, the two of them holding you close by a hand around your torso in a crossed fashion.
You watched Natasha’s hand drift towards your head before she looked down at you. “May I?”
You didn’t even hesitate. “Yes, you may touch my horns.”
Their lips pressed against your temple as they snuggled you close, lulling you slowly to sleep by the soft touches against your horns.
“I love you both.” You muttered sleepily, your eyes finally closing.
“We love you too, Y/N/N.” They chimed back, soon following you when you seemed so peaceful.
The sound of their chaos-absent hearts were the final piece to the puzzle that pushed you into a deep sleep.

Hey guys, today is the 11th anniversary of this blog starting. I am not going to make too huge a deal out of that because I just had my 4000th post a couple of weeks back so it seems silly to go all over the top with stats and stuff when they just frankly haven't changed that much. What I am doing is posting Scarlett Johansson, who is the first person I ever posted on this blog. 11 years is a long time, some would say too long, to run a single blog but here I am, still doing it. The world has changed a lot in that time, as has my life, and Scarlett Johansson is emblematic of that in a lot of ways. I first noticed her in Ghost World, a movie that I dearly loved when I was younger (and still have affection for but I probably haven't watched it in 20 years at this point) because it spoke to me and who I was. I was way into her and got to cling to her as this obscure celebrity crush I had until a few years later when suddenly she was everyone's celebrity crush because they saw her underwear in Lost in Translation and if I am being honest here I never got the big deal about that movie and I thought she looked better elsewhere but maybe I was just bitter cause now everyone knew she was special and my libido no longer made me a special, unique snowflake. Anyway, by the time I started this blog I would say there was no one in the world I could think of as sexier and more desirable than Scarlett Johansson. These days she doesn't show up nearly as often and I have come to realize we are all very much products of the world around us. She doesn't show up on this blog for lots of reasons. I am still attracted to her but that smolder to her that I thought was inescapable seems to be gone. I feel like this is the product of being in Marvel movies. It's amazing you can put someone in skintight leather and have the camera largely focus on their butt in a bunch of movies and yet make the entire universe and world so sexless and sterile that there is nothing particularly sexy about it. Obviously others feel otherwise but it is amazing to me that someone who's very young teen years was spent largely fantasizing about superheroes can get basically no real vibe from any MCU characters. I guess that's what Disney sells. Also, aside from it sort of making her a sexless property, there is the fact that she shows up less now. This blog has taught me that, how well marketing works across everything. When she was the biggest movie star in the world, or one of them, she was constantly put in front of my face. That phase of her career is over and she shows up far, far less at red carpets and in photoshoots and whatever else makes celebrities something we can't avoid. As such she shows up here far less. None of this is about her of course, it's about me and my media diet and how we are sold people as products. I do think it encapsulates a lot of what I learned with this blog though. That and the fact that my first post was two sentences. Now look at this self congratulatory nonsense. Today I want to fuck Scarlett Johansson.

Honestly, the more I think about a Bionicle G3, the more I feel like doing a Slizers G2 might legitimately be the way to go. Even setting aside my Slizers nostalgia, (I got Blaster and Millennium well before any of the Toa) I feel like it makes a certain amount of sense.
-Bionicle has a lot more recognizability, but a lot more baggage as well; there would be Expectations for a reboot, and the fandom has already proven it could be rather volatile.
-While I do think Bionicle still has lots of unexplored potential and that all nineteen of the central Toa across G1's run (Mata+Takanuva, Metru, Mahri) could carry a reboot, it's also had enough time in the limelight that we don't need more.
-Meanwhile, Slizers had just enough material to be ripe for deeper exploration, while also being vague and brief enough that most directions a reboot could take it in wouldn't come across as too much of a departure.
-Set-wise, they never experienced the gradual size creep that Bionicle did, so they would be easier to keep relatively small and cheap.
-System has come a long way; between Mixel joints, greater levels of technic integration, and more fine detail pieces, they could have the same sort of functionality and aesthetic uniqueness as the originals, while being more in line build-wise with conventional Lego.
-Also, you wouldn't have as many people rioting in the streets over taking that approach.
-Much as I love Bionicle, it is a lot more aesthetically conventional next to non-lego action figure lines; whereas Slizers is inherently a lot more distinctive in silhouette and general vibes; potentially offputting, but potentially a selling point.
-Has the potential to be like Mixels and X-Pods and other similar lines, where you can have multiple possible configurations or characters from the same pool of parts in each Element-themed set.
-Also the chance to learn from what worked and what didn't with the Ninjago Spinners and Chima Speedorz in creating an interactive game out of the Disk-throwing gimmick.
-On that note, the potential to revisit the disk molds or create a new system for them entirely.
-While the idea of a canister or container is probably well dead by this point, there's still the possibility to integrate the cardboard packaging in some way, if it's designed well, while being more eco-friendly.
-And again, thanks to its relative obscurity and lack of pre-established expectations, it might be easier to focus on marketing it to new fans instead of trying to pander to nostalgia or stave off angry mobs.
-Finally, a good way to use Teal now that they've brought it back!

I absolutely love your fanfiction (especially your JJK fics). I want to ask if you have ever had to overcome "shame" or self-judgement with writing what you want? I have so many stories or concepts that I want to write but often feel too guilty or self-conscious to get them onto paper.
When I look at fanfiction, I think that is the one place to be as self-indulgent as you want with writing…but also to learn and practice! I can still remember 19 years ago when I first posted a fic and it was awful, but I didn’t care, I was having fun doing something I loved 🤣
I always write what I want to read and I personally don’t care if it isn’t anyone else’s cup of tea. I make it very clear if a story is going to be dark (or if it isn’t). This allows people to make their own choices on reading. That said, it’s very important that you write what you are interested in, because if you write to “please other people”, you will be unhappy and your writing will be without a heart 💔
Small story on writing what you love.
Once upon a time, there was an indie author who wrote stories I vibed hard with. She created a unique, eerie, gothic fantasy world full of dark subject matters and tough relationships. I wrote to her as a fan, and we ended up becoming penpals across oceans through our shared love of writing. We spoke for a few years until she told me she wanted to move away from her darker series / stories because they weren’t making big enough money; she figured she needed to go mainstream. I was saddened, but understood and supported her. She needed to do what was best. Ultimately, she removed all her stories from Kindle. We eventually lost touch, though I still have her books and love them. She never quite ramped up on writing mainstream, because I don’t think that’s what she truly loved 🥲
What am I getting at here? Don’t worry about judgement. You are the only one to hold yourself back. Fanfiction is the place you can have all sorts of journeys and trials and errors! I use it as my place to get as “freaky” as I want. However, when it comes to original writing and indie publishing, I do observe there are things I shy away from since it could be too risqué for the average traditional reader who can only handle HEA endings or fluffy wholesome romance…but I still cling tight to the dark themes I enjoy, because that’s what I like…and some people seek that too!
I would say if you are nervous about posting, restrict your stories to registered users only. That can keep rude anons away if you’re afraid of someone being an internet troll. Or forget about posting and just focus on the act of writing what’s in your head! Stop worrying about ridicule, no one is sitting on your shoulder watching you (unless you are like Kronk below)!
Tumblr media
If anything pops up in my head, anything at all, I write it down on my phone if I’m on the go. Do I struggle with my own anal retentive, hard type-A, perfectionist personality at times? Yes. I won’t write because I don’t think I’ll do it good enough. But if I force myself to just shut up and write the most bare bone thing that pops up and I come look at it later and want to write more detail, to flesh it out, I’ve already won. I’ve beaten my own negativity. I wrote something I wanted to -read- more of.
…and so if you sit down and write whatever few lines or a scene in your head, you will probably come back in a day or a week, add more to it, and be so happy to read what you wrote, because you wrote what you wanted to read. You need to write for yourself first.
Seriously. It works. I have tons of WIP original fiction on my computer that I’ll sit and read and think damn it, I love it, I wish some bitch would finish this story 🤣 the bitch is me, I’m the bitch

Dreams from 27.1.24
Dream 1: I want to get my nails done. This'll be the first time I've had a proper manicure, save for one other time many years ago. It's never really been my thing but I guess I'm trying to find a distraction. I enter a nail salon. The nail technician gets to work, trimming my cuticles. I tell her about my friend who often gets it done in the fancy Japanese nail-art style, with jewels and charms glued on. She always looks like a princess. I'm just making conversation, I don't actually expect the lady to do a manicure in that style. I had just walked into a local nail salon. You usually have to find people who do that kind of niche art style on places like Instagram.
The lady kind of goes for something similar anyway, without me saying anything. Or maybe she usually does it like this all the time. She paints Maleficent's horns (from Sleeping Beauty) on my thumb nail. I'm surprised, yet very happy with it. I love fairy tales. On my pointer finger, she paints some whimsical-looking strawberries and on the third, a cake design. She is coming up with these on the spot, one by one. I'm so excited that by the end I will have such a unique full set of nails.
When I entered the shop, it had been daylight but now it's the evening. It's dusk. The shop is now empty, basically closed. No one is here except me and this lady. I don't know why she is continuing to work on me without saying anything or why she even took another client on in the first place, if she knew it was going to take this long. She is working on my ring finger, and has already laid down a base colour when I say, Aren't you tired? Didn't you want to go home? She does. She starts to pack up immediately. But I got the feeling she would have kept going if I hadn't said anything. Never would have shown any differently. Or perhaps even known differently. I am going to come back tomorrow to get the rest finished.
I exit the shop and I see my mother across the street. I don't know if she happened to be walking down the street and this is just a coincidence, or if she was waiting for me all along. The two seem to blend together as one. She takes me home. I take a closer look at my nails. They don't look so impressive actually. If I don't focus on them, they look great, but I start to realise that it looks like a child did them. The closer I look, the worse it gets. I don't know if I'm going to go back.
Dream 2: I'm in a shopping mall and I walk into a bookshop. The shopkeeper looks very familiar, in fact it's somebody that I know. It's you, bro. Or some other incarnation of you, I don't know. Auburn hair, pale skin. Very beautiful. You have on the coolest witchy outfit. The whole vibe is immaculate. You're 'there' and that seems to shock me, because everybody else is just nothing. You’re so familiar, the energy I mean. It’s like my energy.
But then I start to get upset. I feel lied to. Once, not long ago, we had planned to meet in person but you never showed up. Made up some excuse. But it seemed like you came to Australia after all, and now I find out you’ve been living in my city this whole time? We could have been friends. It feels like such a lost opportunity, for no reason. But then I realise nothing is as it seems. I knew you must have had your reasons. Life does what it does to us. No decisions are made in isolation. I must have agreed too, that it wasn't time. And if everything is always as it should be, I wonder, why do we meet now at this exact moment?

nrmt = jekyon?? tell me more share your theories friend
(All J&H characters mentioned below are from the The Glass Scientists webcomic; other adaptations do not count for this analysis)
Oh nice, free infodump real estate!
I'll start off saying that this is entirely subjective and not everyone might agree with the connection I made between the two ships.
Furthermore, at their core they're both very much their own unique dynamic. If this seems like a stretch to you, that's totally fine!
That being said, here are my theories/takes/connections (screenshots will mostly be from TGS since that's more easily accessible):
My brain sort of made the connection after recent chapters came out. The focus on Lanyon's feelings and how he expresses (or not expresses) them reminded me very strongly of the "thanks to you, I am saddled with unnecessary feelings line." It also reminded me of this bit from chapter 3:
Tumblr media
(ugh feelings, am i right)
Lanyon has Edgeworth Vibes to me lol. They have their "repressed victorian man" thing going on (although Lanyon literally is one).
I made a post about Lanyon's way of expressing his feelings before if you're interested.
Comparing Jekyll to Phoenix might be a bit of a stretch, perhaps. But with earlier flashbacks about Jekyll's university years and the much, much earlier scene during the Frankenstein Play, I can safely say the following things:
Both started out more expressive/open about their feelings. Only after having their hearts broken (Phoenix with Dahlia and Jekyll with Lanyon), did they take a turn and bottle their feelings up or stopped expressing them in a healthy manner.
Both have...little sense of self-preservation. Phoenix has shown over and over again that he's willing to hurt himself or even die for the things important to him. Jekyll also literally admitted to being willing to die for science. Although Jekyll has gotten a little better with it. One of the major developments he's going through right now is putting himself and his feelings and safety first.
Here is the evidence for Jekyll's case:
Tumblr media
And Phoenix is infamous for eating a glass vial with possibly still potent poison and running across a burning bridge. And he's been more than willing to get hurt to help the people involved in his cases. It's something about sacrificing yourself because you think something or someone else is more important.
Although Jekyll has been recovering from this mindset ever since Hyde forcefully took over his body:
Tumblr media
Another thing I've noticed with both ships is that there is a strong mutual admiration for the other, but neither actually voices it. It's a little more obvious for Narumitsu, where Phoenix admits in Turnabout Goodbyes how much he looks up to Edgeworth after the class trial. And in the Miles Edgeworth: Investigations games, he expresses the same admiration for Phoenix. They both are influenced by the other all the time and it makes them better, more well-rounded people.
This mutual admiration isn't as healthy in Jekyon, at least not consistently. In Jekyll's manifestation of his mind, he sees Lanyon as the perfect gentleman, as someone to look up to and follow no matter what. Even though he broke Jekyll's heart many years prior. But still, Jekyll believes he became a better person for it. Vice versa, Lanyon used to be kind of a heartbreaker. But meeting and dating Jekyll changed him. He wanted to commit to a relationship* and not Hurt Feelings anymore if he could help it. Unfortunately there was an arranged marriage so there's that.
*I am not saying that suddenly wanting a romantic and sexual relationship made him better, it's the not wanting to break other men's hearts that made him better.
I think...that's it? If I had to put it shortly, I'd say both ships have a unique dysfunctional way of communicating. Avoiding sharing any thoughts or feelings and then being surprised that the other party is upset. They're disasters and I love to watch it unfold :) (mainly because there's also actual character development to look forward to).

which show? 👀 (if you're comfortable sharing!)
Yeah of course! I mean that sort of thing definitely applies to shows like the SPN finale in particular, but I was talking about Tiger & Bunny an anime-original show which had a first (really tremendously tightly & well-written and very inclusive for anime) season back in 2011. It’s a superhero anime that’s SUPER cool especially for the time (heroes being sponsored by companies & run by capitalism but still really wholesome and optimistic in tone despite the darker themes unlike The Boys, lore really tight, characters SO unique and fun). Being an a) very good show and b) incredibly gay show, it was pretty popular and got a couple of movies, but only got a second season this year. HOWEVER, this second season has been basically ignored partially I think because of the ten year gap and Netflix distribution/release (really bad for anime in particular imo.)
Anyway the second season weirdly really toned down the emotional core & gay vibes between Kotetsu and Barnaby, the eponymous Tiger and Bunny, which is kind of odd because… the show isn’t homophobic at all it has queer rep* (*if again, problematic in s1/movie when they clearly didn’t really know how to write certain identities and play on problematic tropes) and actually toned UP the gay vibes between like. Literally every other character. So people feel a little let down by that for sure and as usual it feels a little like queerbaiting. But that’s not the main issue I had with it, that’s more to do with the writing...
[Spoilers & details under read more]
The writing in the second season is just bad. There’s issues with like… almost every aspect of the story, which REALLY irked me because the first season was SO good and SO tight as I mentioned before. The new characters are much weaker and the focus is totally diluted across a very roughly written plot and filler. (Contrasted to S1, where pretty much every episode had a great role to play in character development and/or plot.) It’s not terrible and it’s not unwatchable, but I did feel like the ending was a slap in the face which kind of highlighted the weaknesses of the second season generally.
So the emotional core is Tiger and Bunny’s relationship but since the arc of that kind of ‘finishes’ itself in s1-movies, I guess they kind of didn’t feel the need to do much work on their relationship or the characters themselves. (BTW, There are lots of interesting things they COULD have done with this but chose not to.)
The character arcs for Tiger and Bunny are REALLY weak in the second season - Tiger’s is like, ‘what does it mean to be a hero?’ and Bunny’s is like, ‘am I happy?’. The end of the show basically answers this with Tiger saying ‘even if I’m not a superhero, I’ll retire and help random people, maybe,’ and Bunny LITERALLY getting asked ‘are you happy?’ by a talking doll (weird and creepy.) to which he replies. ‘Maybe’.
I find the answers to both those arcs really unsatisfying. The main reasons I’m mad the ending apart from that can basically be broken down to two things:
First, the after-credits scene takes place in the future in which it shows us a plaque of Tiger and Bunny with defined end-dates to their partnership. This pretty much nixes the possibility of a continuation starring both of them (even if the second season was successful enough to merit a continuation of some kind, which I don’t think it is). This is what I was really talking about when I said you DON’T need to show a definitive character ‘life path’ to end the story, especially when it leaves on such an unsatisfying note (see above re: character arcs). It’s the ‘ungenerous’ ending people talked about with Supernatural, like let the heroes ride off into the sunset - if you know your fans love the characters together, you don’t need to show us that they retire/die if it’s unhappy and apart. Let their story continue in people’s imagination!
Secondly, the character arc endings ACTUALLY really go against everything we’ve been told about Tiger and Bunny through the show, and not really in a way that implies growth. Tiger and Bunny aren’t like, toxically codependent - but they’ve been shown to be happier around each other, PARTICULARLY Bunny. Bunny suddenly deciding he might be happy WITHOUT Tiger at his side (especially when it’s not even something he’s had time to get used to!) is absurd. Multiple times he’s said he doesn’t want to be a hero without Tiger and cried about it. ‘Maybe he’s happier’ now his buddy is retiring and he has to go on without him, and he’s randomly crippled but still somehow able to be a hero (???). Yeah. I doubt it.
And as for Tiger’s character arc, his character is such that he would ALWAYS try to be a hero no matter how little power he had - his monologue at the end was so weird, it was like ‘maybe I’ll try and help people on a smaller scale now and then, I don’t know, I’ll figure it out.’ Super vague and unsatisfying. There’s no reason he can’t find ways to be a hero a la Tony Stark if he doesn’t have powers (partially what he was doing anyway). NOT TO MENTION they literally SET UP ways for it to be possible for him to get his power back (Mattia’s science stuff) but instead have him randomly lose all his power.
There’s a lot of characterisation weirdness in the episode, not just the ending - for example, Tiger and Bunny watching someone THEY KNOW commit suicide and barely caring about it. It’s just really abnormal for Tiger to not make more of an effort and fuss in that sort of situation, no matter who it was or what they’d done. (And don’t get me started on the disservice done to that character, Yuri Petrov.)
This being the final ending (given the plaque) really sucks, the ending in 2011/movies was SO much better and really understood the spirit of the franchise, the characters, and writing an ending that makes long-time fans feel satisfied.
Would love to be proved wrong about this and have a season/movie that addresses the issues and plot holes like Ouroboros, but I doubt it 😭
Shout out to some spectacular weak writing choices this season though, like everything from ‘NEXT that has a brain that can solve everything but none of our plot holes’ to ‘whatever happened to the second league heroes? oh well!’

The song has a truly majestic and mesmerizing sound, which immediately feels like a perfect match with the visuals, which showcase some beautiful urban sights in Mumbai, India. The strings have a very cinematic sound, with staccato melodies and percussive elements that accentuate the dramatic build-ups in the music.

His compositions are often characterized by their innovative use of instrumentation, creative melodies, and the skillful fusion of different musical elements, especially percussion, and strings, which are definitely at the heart of a song such as "Rise." Javier is a masterful arranger, and "Rise" shows that he is capable of bringing a significant degree of depth, tension, and emotion to the screen, creating an auditory tapestry that enhances the visuals of this short commercial movie in remarkable ways. For example, the deep, resonant tones of the drums and percussion in the song evoke a sense of vastness and size, a perfect sonic representation of the beautiful and impressive environments depicted in the short film itself. In other words, it is a very beautiful place, and the music is a perfect exaltation of its beauty and ambitious scope. The soundtrack perfectly captures the high-end experience that the location conveys. "Rise" is ultimately a perfect representation of a stunning location and of a community that's colorful, exciting, and on the move. The music's upward momentum mirrors the community's aspirational journey as people leap towards a brighter future, represented by a place as beautiful as The Presidential. The intertwining rhythms and lively melodies mirror the synchronized pulse of urban life, illustrating how thoughtful urban planning elevates their existence. "Rise" encapsulates the vibrant colors, not only of the places but also of the people, that make them come to life in a special way.
Back to the sonics, the production quality on "Rise" shines with pristine brilliance, a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and the care that Javier and his collaborator Julian managed to infuse into this brilliant piece of music for the film. The interplay of instruments and the spacious arrangement create an immersive experience, drawing listeners into the sound and the visuals on the screen. After all, the job of a great score is to add something to the vibe of the instrumental. This is something that Javier and Julian managed to accomplish in great detail here. The track also has a beautiful arc, starting with a subdued yet rich sound and ending with something that's even more diverse, kaleidoscopic, and full. The expressiveness of the orchestral elements is truly spot-on, and the song evolves in such a way that the visuals match the intense changes in the score.
