love the junior scenes in the MDZS donghua where Jin Ling is standing with perfect, regal posture with his nose turned up at literally everyone and Lan Jingyi is next to him hunched over and shouting like a rabid swamp goblin

I find it so strangely bizarre about so Many Famous Media Comparisons by People, yet, No One else ever seems to compare Jim Henson's "Labyrinth" with George MacDonald's "The Princess and The Goblin", since both plots are quite similar with a Girl whose got an Important Family Member in their Life while also having some Friend(s) behind their back and even Meanwhile, some Guy (whose the Mirror version of Them) is The Ruler of all Goblins.
And I mean, who wouldn't compare those Similar Stories about Humans and Goblins in General, am I right?
Because I never really grew up realizing on how that Sarah and Jareth
Almost look identical to Irene and Froglip/Harelip.

My gender is like.... if a rough and tumble yet sweet boy in animated action adventure kids movie was a girl. Also they are probably neurodivergent.
This is the vibe.

What fans say:
Birdboy: The Forgotten Children:
Fantastic music. Interesting metaphors.
The Princess and the Goblin:
Magical ghost grandma, a stubborn princess, and a coal miner’s son team up with the power of song to defeat some truly terrifying goblins (and their evil monster pets). The animation is gorgeous and the backgrounds are beautiful. It’s also all hand drawn.
