Backstory: (Let's call Twisted Medic the first brother) He and his brother both were working as medics but at different bases which are very far. The brothers both were very close so it worried each other so both deiced to write letters to send to one other. But one day, the first brother didn't write a letter. The next day or the other day or two days later or 5 days later... Nothing and it worried his brother. But it turns out that the first brother was found dead on the floor by his teammates. But strangely when the team looked away for a minute, the first brother's body just disappeared...

Twisted Medic: I see yoouuuuuu...

Twisted Medic: (In a sad voice) I-I will find him...

Twisted Medic: (In a sad voice) Where... Is he....???

Twisted Medic: Each move I make and the cracking noises that my bones will make.

(Roleplay thread with @humanitysong // Marine AU) Morning sunlight filtered in through shuttered blinds and the eternal sound of waves crashing and ocean faring seabirds crested overhead. The day had begun in Gunsmoke, and with it came Nai's new guest.

A Vash- but not his Vash. This one was nice, startlingly. A far cry from the brutality of his own, this one smiled sweetly and showed genuine kindness that was hard to fake. He'd doubted it at first but with the consistency the independant had shown...

The doubts are shaken free as he knocks on the door to Vash's temporary residence, a small habitat building they'd put together last minute but it was no less welcoming. The island Legato's strands having claimed providing rare stability for the metallic pod-like homes, decorated with a little sign and what furnishings the group could spare to offset the sterile nature of the home.

A stark difference to Vash's Nai, he was certain, Nai broods with a huff. He enters the space gingerly, padding in and calling for the male, trying the bedroom door next.

"Vash? You awake yet? You're going to miss the morning feeding dive for the dependants." He calls from the door, checking the time on his waterproof watch anxiously. If there was one thing Nai cared about more than Vash, it was ensuring the dependants were fed and groomed well. And making sure Vash actually ate today.

"We have about 45 minutes before we need to get going."

A thoughtful gift that both of them can enjoy! Even if it can be a little awkward sometimes when the people you live have such different personalities, it makes it all the sweeter when you find ways to connect with them.
