Listen, listen,,, sometimes a family can be a boy, his bestie, his adoptive pig father, said pig father's bestie with a violent history, that guy's therapy cat, and a freeloading scholar who definitely totally isn't married to the pig father mhm mhm

so, the mk found fam are just all around wonderful and just are a family. the show itself makes it obvious that Mk and Mei are not romantic interests and in fact are just platonic best friends, and dare I say, siblings. Tang and Pigsy are just married, its not canon but, c'mon, its obvious if you look at them. They're also just the dads of the group, Pigsy outright raising Mk and Tang calling himself "kinda like a father figure" to Mei. Sandy is Pigsy's old friend and now he's the uncle of the group and the crazy cat lady at the same time, Mo is his therapy cat and is always with Sandy, do not separate them. Not much of a rant but tbf all that's in my head when i think about them is just "EUEUEUEU".

Genuinely have no idea where the idea of Jay losing his memories came from so forgive me for being out of the loop, and while yes that is a totally reasonable and angst-filled idea, allow me to offer this: Jay is just Like That.

I've seen this nightmare of a man before he got the UwU beam. He was a menace. A migraine-inducer. A little shit everyone wanted to conk over the head. Jay does not need to lose his memories to just be vibing in the Administration making other people do his work because he wants to play video games. He will be impossible to drag away because he doesn't want to do work and thinks the Administration is totally the best course of action and also he has not seen what the outside world looks like in months. He's not here out of a malicious plan. He's just lazy and digging in his heels because he's done this bullshit for like ten years and he wants a break. He will make this everyone elses problem.

Or, alternatively, Jay does have his memory wiped, but this changes nothing. He still doesn't wanna go back when he remembers again. The only difference is that he keeps calling his friends pajama-criminals and horrendously flirts with Nya as though she is not his literal fiancé.

There are two cars. In one is the dumbass trio. In the other is what I like to call the "braincell squad" aka Nya, Zane, Pixal and Lloyd. Who are you riding with and why?

Dumbass trio car:

Cole driving: FOR THE LOVE OF FUCK SIT DOWN YOURE GONNA MAKE ME CRASH

Kai in that passenger seat and on the aux blasting lil nas X: CALL ME WHEN YOU WANT CALL ME WHEN YOU NEED!

Jay in the back seat leaning over to yell in Cole's ear: ARE WE THERE YET?! IM TIRED! I NEED TO PEE PULL OVER I REALLY GOTTA GO!

So I've been rewatching Ninjago and I just got done with season 3: Rebooted episode 6, and I noticed/realized something. At the end of the episode Garmadon (all cured of evil) says this to Wu, "You wanted them to take risks..." "How far must they go!" Is he...worried about them? And throughout the entire season, if you look close enough, he seems worried about how far the ninja push themselves, and who is the one that thought them that? Wu. I'm not the biggest fan of Wu and I have neutral feelings towards Garmadon but this one scene makes me like him a little. He seems genuinely worried about the ninja, not just Lloyd. Yes, he's not the most patient but honestly, he seems like he'd be a far more greater teacher than Wu if he'd never been corrupted. I'd like to see a scene where the ninja learn of all these things he's said and start to see he's not so bad after all and that he does care for them in his own way. I wonder what a bonding moment between each of the ninja and Garmadon would look like after they learn of these things and realize he's not so evil after all.

“Where’s Cole and Jay?” “Where’s Wu?” “Where’s Pixal?” Where’s literally everyone else. Where is the entirety of Ninjago. Where are all of their enemies.

Where’s Harumi? Is she off making another gang? What about Skylor and the other Elemental Masters? Where’s Dareth? Don’t tell me Dareth isn’t trying to continue on the Ninja’s legacy out there. The Upply and Vania? Are they out there doing good, hoping the Ninja will come back? Vinny? Is he good?

What about Garmadon? Or Misako? Lou? Ed and Edna? Ray and Maya? Cyrus Borg? Where are they. Are they not worried about their kids.

What about Clouse? He was sent to the Underworld, he’s possibly with a Skulkin army! And Vex? Vex is there too! He’s roaming freely across the lands! Pythor is still around, probably getting beaten with brooms from old ladies. Aspheera probably broke out of prison the literal day of the Merge, so god knows where she is now.

Were they all just...laying low for a year? Not causing problems? I realize the new Merged land is huge but surely they aren’t just chilling peacefully in a cottage somewhere, right? Like, compared to these guys, Imperium is such a non-problem that I kinda want them to come back just to watch Beatrix get so outrageously offended that shes barely worth the effort while the Ninja kill the Overlord for the 8th time. I think it should be utilized more often that the Ninja aren’t stepping onto Imperium’s turf, Imperium is stepping onto the Ninja’s turf, and they’ll find this out the hard way. By the never ending SEA of allies and villains that keep popping up out of the woodwork
