Would you ever be in a Kill Bill Vol. 3 if it was ever made? What would you want your role to be?
I would want to teach The Bride some new moves.

Not a fan of many choices PJ made, but Aragorn saying "I would have followed you to the end, into the very fires of Mordor" is a line that moves one... because the greatest expression of love* in the legendarium is always following someone into the realm of the enemy. (not in a metaphysical sense - destroying yourself for someone is tragic, see: the sons of Fëanor - but the most literal)
----
*all kinds, also platonic love - actually, bar that, usually platonic love

The movies Kid’s edition
Lo’ak tries to ask Tsireya on a date to the movies after school
Tuk overhears “I want to go to the movies!”
Lo’ak tries to play it off “no Tuk it’s a scary movie they won’t let you in”
Spider and Kiri come by, Kiri: did you say scary movies?”
Spider: “ hell yeah, I want to see a scary movie. I can sneak in so many snacks”
Spider wears baggy cargo pants with huge pockets.
Lo’ak sighs to himself , “ bruh this was supposed to be a date”
Tsireya: “do Twizzlers fit in your pocket?”
Tuk: “I want gummy bears!”
Loak: “ I’ll do Hershey’s cookie bites” he sighs
Neteyam walks by with Aonung and Roxto, Neteyam: hey what’s going on?”
Tuk: we’re going to the movies!”
Aonung: “bet, I’m all set” pulls out a bag of hot Cheetos from his back bag
Lo’ak : Aight, let’s go to target to get the snacks
The kids take the bus to target
Tuk gets lost the within the first five minutes there
They find her in the toy section
Spider buys Kiri and himself a Toblerone
The kids help Spider fit all the snacks into his pockets
His pants look so big on him, he can’t even walk properly
They make it to the theater
Tsireya, Kiri, and Tuk wait by the back doors while the boys go buy tickets for themselves
Lo’ak and Neteyam go to let the girls in from the back doors
Neteyam” bro we better no get caught”
Lo’ak: “ naw bro, trust me. We’ve got this”
Spider and Aonung get blueberry slushys while Roxto gets a cherry and mango mix
They all managed to make it through to the movie room, not because they were sneaky enough, but because the employees are underpaid and just don’t care
The movie begins:
Lo’ak puts his arm around Tsireya and holds her close at the scary bits
Tsireya holds Lo’ak’s hand and he blushes 🥺
Everyone else 👀
Tuk has her eyes covered for the first half of the movie but then falls asleep on Kiri’s shoulder 🫣
Kiri and Aonung laugh every time someone dies or gore shows up
Spider and Roxto stare at them in shock and cringe
Neteyam already knows who the murderer is from the beginning
Spider thinks he knows who the murderer is but is wrong
When the murderer is revealed Spider gets ups and screams “yoooo wtf” and gets shushed 🥲
The movie ends and everyone is arguing about who they thought the killer was
Neteyam wins the the argument, of course
Everyone goes to get burgers afterwards
Lo’ak buys Tsireya boba
This is my second time doing these kinds of posts. I hope you enjoy them.I’ll be making more in the future if y’all want ☺️

You're probably not gonna write something like it in your story, but it'd be so cute if you did something similar to the 'two places at once' scene from the A Walk to Remember movie. I think it's my favourite clip out of the entire film!
Stop anon you just reminded me how much I loved that movie 🥹 I think my most anticipated scenes with write with be the “falling in love scenes” because mc will spend a lot of time with the ROs but for a big part of the story it’ll be for the plot and not just hanging out to hang out.
I do like the idea of the ROs trying to make a desire of mc come to life though like a two places at once in inspiration… it’ll be interesting to see what my mind could come up with cause I do like the idea that the romance scenes should feel 90s-to-early-2000s romantic drama movies. Good to have some type of levity in the midst of tragedy 💜

Is Wes Anderson OK? The question is prompted in the usual high style by his new movie Asteroid City: the 11th feature film of a major American director now unnerved by the cosmos. An Anderson sceptic might suggest you’d have an existential crisis too if you’d made the same film 11 times. But even haters will miss him when he’s gone. Sometimes my eyes rolled too. Then, the more I saw of the movie, the more I came to look at it differently. Like life, you could say. Naturally, the Anderson of it all is front and centre: geometry, small print, quote marks round quote marks. The outer box is a pastiche black-and-white TV show, our host (Bryan Cranston) arriving with a hint of The Twilight Zone. The show in turn concerns a postwar playwright, Conrad Earp (Edward Norton), working with a troupe of actors. Their creation makes up the core of the film: the Matryoshka’d tale of the title, set in a tiny desert resort town. The year is 1955. The cast runs to a ludicrous number of Hollywood notables, most but not all Anderson regulars: Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Jeffrey Wright, Margot Robbie, many more. Is the director hobbling bad reviews by making critics use up their word count to fit in mention of Rupert Friend?
Now what? Another good question. The simple answer is that the cast squeeze into a production design just-so even for Anderson. There are bleached-out blues and dazed peach-oranges. Shirts match the sunsets. Yeah yeah, you think. Then you pause and realise: actually, this looks incredible. Next comes a fractured dot-dash of plot lines, wrapped around a bunch of “junior stargazers”, here with their parents. Anderson gives special focus to a widowed war photographer (Jason Schwartzman) and a celebrated movie star, played by Scarlett Johansson. The latter is terrific, seamlessly on top of the brisk deadpan Anderson mandates. Don’t take that for granted either: in his first film with the director, Tom Hanks sounds like a man struggling with Duolingo. Then the film hits the brakes. Asteroid City is sealed off: static. Under the desert sun, no one would blame you for wearying of the piquant little exchanges in this loaded place and timeframe. (Nuclear tests dot the background; a Wes Anderson mushroom cloud looks exactly as you’d think.) With no obvious through line, we slip in and out of the framing devices. Back with Conrad Earp, his actors fret that they don’t understand the play. Somewhere off-screen, an Anderson-phobe screams.
