OKAY I'm supposed to be getting my haircut on monday but I'm thinking. I skip it.

ok i cut off 1-2 inches of hair the last remaining previously bleached hair from when i was like 16. It does feel a lot lighter and fluffier now... also trimmed my bangs. will probably clean up after my shower tomorrow, my hair is greasy as fuuuck right now

#i always forget how annoying it is to braid my hair when i have it long #im like im gonna grow it out and do all kinds of cool elf braids! and then it's too thick #really my best cut is 'grown out short cut' #which is my men's cut about two months after i get the cut #wavy in the back fancy on top thick and brown and tousled . grays sprinkled artistically throughout #my best friend hair cream is waiting for me in my bathroom cabinet as we speak #im like. so serious i might not last the month #it might be time #plus i miss being read as genuinely masc the like three times a year it happens #and it'll give me motivation to shave my legs less. we have GOT to butch it up in here

So, if Kairi has to have short hair again in Kingdom Hearts IV--which I imagine there's a good chance that she will. I feel like Kairi herself prefers short hair. And it makes sense for her to keep short hair now that she's a warrior, so that her hair can't be used against her in battle--one hairstyle I would personally love for her to have would be this one:

Something akin to Maria Deluca's from Roswell season 1.

It does that flippy thing, like Yuna or Selphie's, but it's also different from theirs, because instead of doing that on either side of the head, the hair is flipping out behind the head, if that makes sense.

I just think it's pretty. And it bonus points in that it could seem like Kairi was inspired by her friend Selphie, or something like that, while also still being original.

Being a man with long hair gives me so much gender euphoria. Sometimes I get self conscious, thinking “what if people mistake me for a woman because of it?” but like, that shouldn’t stop me if it makes me as happy as it does

dude i feel you...Ive had a few awkward interactions in bathrooms when men think theyre in the wrong bathroom when they see my long hair, but once they get another look at me theyre like o nvm thats just a dude with beautiful long hair HAHA. Having long hair as a dude has been so awesome, I always encourage every man to try growing it out at least once to see how it changes your perception of yourself. If it makes you happy, keep that hair long :)

#rant #look... my roots are 1 inch long im desperate to either a. bleach em myself #b. go to a salon whos result ill ultiamtely hate afrer spending too much money #c. buy a blonde dye and give myself baby highlights to break up the roots which will look fine but ultimately SO subtle #i might still get irritated and end up bleaching the roots #see like. my hair is naturally dirty blonde. whicj means it grows in looking light brown as roots #but its got these tiny platinum blonde streaks #so if i wait Enough the roots do lighten as they grow out #so as much as my dye line between bleached hair and my roots is dtiving me up a wall? the longer my hair grows the more the demarcation line #fades and no longer is obvious. becausr my hair will lighten anyway over time
