I feel the call of the sea keenly. I feel that call when I hear sea shanties, and the heart of the ocean that lies within their words and their voices. I feel the call when I look at images, films, TV shows featuring shots of that blue yonder. I feel the call when I am standing on the beach looking at the vast blueness stretching off into the horizon as the little waves tickle my feet and legs.
I see why so many people fall in love with the ocean and the concept of her, of finding a home and finding a place for yourself in the world. People who have spent their whole lives traversing her, who have been to her most inhospitable corners and have either come back heroes or died in the voyage of discovery.
The call of the sea is something I feel within my soul. Someone once I belong by the seaside, and perhaps I will live near the sea one day. I would like that very much.

Set between Season 2: 'The Legacy of the Green Ninja' and Season 3: 'Rebooted', 'Call of the Sea' features the core four ninja visiting a small fishing village after their victorious fight with the Overlord. Master Wu's heart is heavy with the fact that he needed to recruit such young teenagers to save the world twice already. So, he set up a vacation of sorts where all four ninja are to be sent to therapy. What Master Wu had no idea about was just off the shoreline and under the sea, someone was threatened by his very presence and that of his ninja. What started off as a vacation would soon change everything.

Bisan is calling for another global strike!
I saw some posts just outlining Jan 21st, and wanted to clarify that Bisan has called for a full seven days of action.
What a global strike would look like is:
calling in sick to work
purchasing bare essentials ahead of the week so you can observe the general boycott of goods / buying as little as you genuinely can
putting in a concerted effort to elevate Palestinian voices and make it clear that this strike is in support of a permanent ceasefire!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For those who will have to purchase necessary goods during this time, please observe the brands that the BDS movement is asking us to boycott!

♢♢♢
Right now is also a good time to mention some better uses for your money during this week.
Available e-sims in Gaza are running low!!
Mirna El Helbawi and her team are working round the clock to continue to connect Palestinians as Israel does its best to cut them off from the rest of the world.
You can learn how to purchase and send e-sims here, and below you’ll find a list of what is currently needed (the areas in brackets indicate what region you should select to buy e-sims in).

CareforGaza is an organisation that does verifiably good work, distributing supplies directly to Palestinian families.
They have a Gofundme set up at the moment, but because of Gofundme’s poor track record regarding refusing to transfer funds to Palestinians, I’d recommend continuing to donate directly to their PayPal here.

Good luck to all of you. Don't turn away from Palestine!

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this, which makes me think it isn’t being reported, but right now the largest protest for Palestine in the history of the United States is taking place in Washington DC. Thousands turned up to show their solidarity for Palestine and to call for a ceasefire.
Look at this, they won’t be able to ignore us for much longer.

The little boy who died with an unopened packet of biscuits in his hand. The baby girl who died with an uneaten croissant in her fingers. The boy who was playing football with his friend when his head exploded. All those Palestinian children had futures. And now they’re dead.
— 🇵🇸 noorii 🇵🇸 (@/inejmydarling) December 28, 2023
Edit:
The first photo is from Ahmed Hijazee (Instagram , Twitter). The child was still alive at the time, she was one of the victim of the bombing of Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in Oct 17, 2023 and then treated at Al Shifa Hospital.
Tumblr media
I haven't find the child's name and current condition, if anyone know please feel free to add.

Meet Mohammed Nazzal, a Palestinian child. He was in administrative arrest (this means he can stay held captive without charge for as long as israel decides, also look it up for better understanding) without charge or trial in Israeli occupation prisons and was released yesterday as part of the hostages exchange.

The core four ninja just saved Ninjago again. However, instead of more training, Sensei Wu whisked all five away to a village by the sea. The purpose? A vacation with therapy sessions. Kai doesn't do therapy. He doesn't want to remember about his damage and his trauma so he makes a stupid decision to board a fishing boat to help. Little does he know that fishing trip would change his world...

For everyone here on my Tumblr I need y’all to stop what you’re doing and really lock in to the genocide happening in Gaza right now. I will post as many links as I can but the best you can do right now is be loud as fuck! About this.
TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine.

people saying that users aren’t being compassionate enough towards the billionaires stuck in the death coffin at the bottom of the ocean and calling us “ghouls” for bringing up the absolute absurdity of the entire situation and it’s like……of course no one ever deserves to die by suffocation or freezing to death and it’s a hope that by some miracle that these people are found and somehow saved. however people are aloud to point out the irony of how our current wealth gap is so high that there are people who are able to spend 250k, an amount that most people don’t see in their entire lives, like it’s a movie ticket. except instead of seeing a movie they are entering a death chamber to the bottom of the ocean so they can gawk at the mass grave of over a thousand people
“the CEO of the company tricked them and he’s the real capitalist villain while the other passengers are blameless” I agree that the CEO (who is also stuck in the submarine with them) is as grimy as they come and cut corners in order to make as much money as possible. that’s a given. but as we are seeing now, most people who have never even stepped foot in the ocean their entire lives could see that this was a disaster waiting to happen. you don’t have to be a maritime expert to see that. the submersible has no emergency beacon, is controlled by an off brand game controller, made from parts from a camp store, navigated by texts from above, is bolted in from the outside, and has a contract that passengers sign that mentions “death” three times on the front page. most people couldn’t be paid to step foot in it - and these people paid 250k to go to the bottom of the ocean in it
once again, no one is relishing at people dying stuck in an essentially gutted out minivan at the bottom of the ocean. especially when one passenger is 19 and the other is a legitimate titanic researcher. but people are allowed to be mad that thousands upon thousands of dollars of taxpayer money and resources are being used to try and literally pluck these people out of the ocean and save them from a grave that they literally helped dig themselves into without a care in the world. they are the 1% who can put themselves in peril as much as they please and spend money and waste resources like it’s water but will always expect to be saved from the brink of death by us regular folk so they can call themselves an “adventurer” at their next luncheon
