so the thing is I never intended for the zany fam to be like this au where bugs and daffy adopt the warners… it was more like, I was drawing them with this funny idea in my head that Warner Bros. wanted to repaint and repair the water tower for the 100th anniversary and so execs are like “fantastic. what are we gonna do with the warners in the meantime though. who on earth could handle them for such a long period of time” and they realize bugs is designed to win and handle any nuisance and so they make them bugs’ problem for the time being. He hates it, but he can’t say no (some kind of hidden clause in his old ass contract from the 30s). And because Daffy often visits for dinner, or vacations, or just to hang every now and then, he ends up being roped into the whole thing (see: Bugs comedically manipulates Daffy into it). So for a while when studio crew walk around the lot, they’ll see Bugs trying his best to deal with the warners until the water tower is restored and Daffy on most occasion tagging along for the ride. They almost look nuclear, go figure.

The memes have gotten so big, so ridiculous and so hilarious that Xolo Mariduena himself, yes the star of Blue Beetle who's playing Jaime Reyes, is now aware of DC fans taking it upon themselves to market Blue Beetle. Somehow, Yellowjackets fandom, who won a different category Outstanding Drama Series somehow got the idea that OFMD fans were complaining about Yellowjackets winning. It was corrected multiple times by multiple people but they kept coming. So yeah, twitter being twitter, not a great time. I am reading North Queen by Nicola Tyche, first of a romantic fantasy trilogy. It’s an enjoyable read even if not groundbreaking but one thing is driving me nuts - it’s a trend in too many romantic fantasy series so I am going to use this to complain about it.

Our heroine, Norah is queen of blah blah who doesn’t have memory of anything before she was found in the woods by her hunky captain Alexander and brought back. But she’s prophesied to end the evil Shadow King who her fam hid her from.

Guess who is her endgame OTP? If you said “shadow king,” congrats you read a book in the last decade or maybe just heard of the word “book.”

Why does it drive me mad? I mean the Shadow King himself a fun character and far be it from me to not ship something because it’s unhealthy.

Because once again our FL has a choice between a hunky sweet dude who is her long term boyfriend (even if she doesn’t remember him, she’s drawn to him all over again and they are adorable together) who is devoted and fought for her and searched for her AND a dude who executed hundreds of FL’s own countrymen and then kidnapped and dragged and menaced her and plans to murder her.

I am sorry what the fucking fuck? I love fucked up dudes who did a ton of bad stuff when they live and die for FL and/or when they can atone and when playing field is emotionally equal - see Aaron Warner Anderson from Shatter Me aka my fave YA series dude ever. Man has a kill tally list the size of war and peace and is fucked enough that any therapist of his would need a therapist themselves. But he loves Juliette more than life and does anything to protect her. I can see why she picks him (not to mention she can hold her own with him.) Or a situation where it’s a harsh medieval reality and you will go with the one who can protect you and people kill each other all the time so life of peasants does not register as a consideration and not like you have other choice (see any Pargeter or Penman or Chadwick novel.) Hell, I ship Thorfinn and Groa in Dunnett’s King Hereafter and he gets to marry her after killing her previous (also arranged) husband - but that is an authentically medieval novel with medieval attitudes where they are people with attitudes of that time and are compatible to boot and Dunnett is a hell of an author.

This series is basically a glorified romance with modern attitudes and a sweet compatible guy waiting as another option. Fine she gets over king’s treatment - no accounting for taste - but the fact that she’s clearly not gonna give a fuck he murdered hundreds of her countrymen and go mmm hot is off-putting as fuck!!!!

This trend in fantasy romance lately drives me mad so thanks for reading my rant…

So we've got a campaign going to be noticed by HBO Max, WarnersbroTV, and Casey Bloys (The Content Chief of HBO Max). The campaigns main objective is to encourage HBO Max to pick the show up and add it to its Bat collection. At the very least, we will be showing that the Batwoman fandom won't go down without a fight.

The Batwoman Writers have already came onboard, which suggests a pickup from HBO Max is possible and that they have the independent power to do so. Casey Bloys has also said that HBO Max would be interested if the CW didn't keep the Arrowverse shows.

We already did an amazing show out yesterday and were in the top trends.

This show deserves more seasons. Let's make some noise and show a final stand and support 🦇❤

Hello there, Geats fans! I realize this is a bit unusual, but I'd like to begin today's episode of a tokusatsu program about a reality show that exploits the masses and its own employees for the entertainment of a bunch of futuristic yuppies to talk about something I feel is important.

I'll keep this as brief as I can, but lately you may have heard about the Writer's Guild of America going on strike over the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (made up of production studios under such companies as Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Sony) cutting the income of writers by means of decreasing residuals given from streaming and other conditions such as employment security. This strike, let me be entirely clear, is right. Not only do these writers deserve far more money and job security than Hollywood is willing to give them, but multi-billion dollar corporations like Netflix, Warner Bros., and Disney can and should be made to pay employees more money, and this could set a precedent for other underpaid people involved with all your favorite productions to have their livelihoods enhanced too. From my limited perspective at least, the WGA's requests could only be good for everyone involved. And if other unions get involved like the Director's Guild of America and

I'd also like to mention that you could see a massive increase of reality TV, as that previously occurred due to various AMPTP studios basically punishing the WGA back in the late oughts by rendering them unnecessary, especially with the rise of AI these companies seek to use far more extensively. And I don't know if you remember, but 2000s reality TV is some of the most exploitative shit I've ever seen, so the idea of it returning backed up by internet techbros makes me wretch.

I'm unfamiliar with Japanese screenwriting standards, but I do realize that Toei is hardly spotless when it comes to treating writers poorly (*cough* Hibiki *cough*), but hopefully this opens up some eyes in Japan as well. All over the world, even, because this is not nor has it ever been an American exclusive issue.

Right, so, I apologize this was so rambling, but TL;DR: The WGA are entirely justified in their efforts in getting the writers of your favorite shows paid more, and you definitely should not be supporting the exploitative reality shows that'll come out in the wake of writers just wanting a decent income.

Anyways, back to that (fictional) exploitative reality show I talk about every week~! I hear this episode leaked last week, so I've been burying my head in the sand to avoid it.

-I actually watched Movie Battle Royale a few days ago.

-It was okay. The action was pretty good, getting to meet up with the Igarashi Fam was nice, Sakura chasing Neon was cute and funny, Kagero getting so terrified of Keiwa's demon was super cool, that's the kind of thematic carry over I like to see.

-I liked Seeker, he was cool, but the whole movie would've been way cooler if it was just all these characters I like interacting with each other in a way more dangerous version of the typical DGP games from that point in the season. They also really should've built on the idea of Ikki and Vice using the Desire Drivers for everybody to pick them up, I think Asakura would've loved the Water Buckle.

-Also, seeing Knight's suit in such crappy condition kinda made me sad, and they really fucked with Ren's character by making him this generic brute. Didn't like that at all. Asakura's writing wasn't that much better, but I did like him terrifying Vice, that was epic of him. Ryuga... also could've been done way better.

-Also, what was the point of Balidero and Izangi? Like, as villains.

-Big, big losers. Beroba seems to like this direction, at least.

good evening! i didn't have much energy to wrote something yesterday. the whole day was crazy. i got bad news at work. the mean buyer got a higher position and is basically my boss in three months. i won't have much to do with him, because he is going to be the direct boss of my boss. i really hope there won't be a bad tension in the air at work .. i love my job, especially recently i was even happy about the stress at work. it made me feel alive and and idk i just love what i am doing at work everyday. i won't let this get me down and demotivate me. everything is going to be alright.

after work i drove to vienna because i wanted to get a new haircut .. i am back in my bob era hehe. so now my hair can grow healthy. i really want to have long hair :(

also i am almost finish with "ignite me". ugh i am soo in love with warner and a also with kenshi. but warner, gos he has a my heart. i also got the next two books today .. i am so sure i will finish book 3 tonight. i won't be able to wait for the next book arrive.

nothing is going to happen tonight. i will just spend my time with my fam in vienna and then continue reading.
