I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.

Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.

Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

I actually laughed when I read this question. Not because I think it would be impossible but because I think it would be absolutely wild. Maybe if the show was being run by more interesting people we could have had a storyline like this. It would make sense.

I mean on one hand, we have Hayley and Elijah who are in love and on the other hand we have a forced marriage. If anyone was going to have a throuple, they were primed for it. I have said it before but I don't believe the unification magic is so aware that Hayley and Elijah couldn't have stayed in a relationship. Also, no one proposed the idea of a throuple. I feel like that would have worked for the magic aspect of it.

If it did work, Hayley would have had to be the one to introduce it, and you know she would have. Hayley, especially at that time, was definitely a 'have your cake and eat it too' kind of person. And that is not a critique on her. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. So why not bring up the idea to the men.

Elijah would have been on board. He had been pinning after Hayley for like two years at that point and would have jumped at the opportunity to be with her in any way possible. He also has lived so long that I don't think it would have been strange to him. I joke that I love jealous Elijah but we really didn't get many scenes where he was obviously jealous. I feel like he was just, essentially, too old for that teen drama. So it wouldn't have bothered him that Hayley was also with Jackson. Especially because it would mean he got to be with her as well. Jackson would have been resistant for a variety of reasons. I can see him saying "That's not how we do things." But there definitely was a power imbalance there so I could see him caving and agreeing, but resenting it. So not a healthy throuple.

However, overtime, I could see Jackson and Elijah finding common ground. People love to say the men are so different, but they really aren't. They just wear different clothes. Jackson is more like a Mikaelson than he or the fandom want to admit. Jackson treats his pack similar to how the Mikaelsons treat their family. I think this is something Elijah and he could bond over. They've both had to make tough decisions, even bad decisions, in order to protect the ones they love. They've both also messed up a lot. They also both cared for Hayley and Hope which would likely be the first common ground they could come to.

I also love to think over time, given the chance, Elijah and Jackson would become friends. I can just see Jackson talking about hunting or some nature thing and Elijah just casually asking questions, trying to pretend he's not that interested. We view Elijah as an uptight business man, but let's not forget he was originally a farmer/warrior from what is present day Virginia. Elijah is a country boy. I would love a scene where Jackson is surprised by Elijah's knowledge of farming or hunting and then Hayley walks into an intense discussion about crop yields or the best way to skin a deer.

To me, it wouldn't ever be a true throuple, it would more likely be an open relationship. I just never got queer vibes from Jackson, but who knows. But if the show had focused more on character development and family, and less on drama, we may have actually seen a begrudging friendship and mutual respect from the two men. And Hayley would have truly benefited from that. But we all know how little Julie likes to let women have control over their relationships.

Marcel would be seen as family (in the show and by the fans) more had they not continued to write him and rebekah together. i just seen someone on that hellsite argue that now Marcel and Hope weren’t siblings and he never saw her as such when the plot continued to label them as siblings…Marcel acts like a protective older brother to Hope. Why is it yall can never just see Marcel as family.

I get it he’s disowned the Mikaelson’s several times, which is Marcel’s right but most of Marcel’s storyline is about being seen and treated like family.

I'll always wonder how Hope felt about her father's relationship with Elijah, especially after her mother died.

For a time, Elijah was responsible for Hayley's death in her eyes, and no one will convince me this wasn't Klaus’s doing. He had spent half of season five brooding because his brother erased their memories, erased him, and repeatedly put their broken brotherhood over his own daughter. Klaus didn't have Camille or Hayley any longer, he didn't have Elijah specifically, who is the person he has the most codependent relationship with in the series and him lashing out because of it quite literally endangered Hayley's life even more.

Marcel pointed it out; he was lashing out because in his eyes, Elijah no longer loved him and had given their family up and that was clouding his judgment, something they couldn't allow with Hayley's life on the line. So it's just very ironic Hayley ended up dying, with only Klaus and Elijah conscious to see it, because by this logic, Klaus clearly told Hope her uncle hadn't saved her mother's life.

It is very much in character for him, especially because Klaus was acting hostile around his brother whenever Hope was around, so I wonder how she felt when she witnessed him quite literally running into his arms the moment Elijah got his memories back and they finally found common ground. Was she bitter, angry, hurt? This is the same man that was visiting Elijah constantly for seven years because he couldn't stay away from him, despite knowing it could potentially endanger his daughter, yet managed to ignore Hope perfectly fine for five-six years.

Of course, Hope eventually managed to find common ground with her uncle as well, but I don't think she actually realizes how screwed up the relationships in her family are, mostly because her family abandoned her and the ones who actually would do anything and everything for her are dead. Especially for a child as young as her, no fifteen-year-old teenager would ever understand why her father chose her "mother's killer" over her own feelings and over her own dead mother.

Because damn, it would hurt me so badly if my father claimed I was the person he loved the most, yet the one he couldn't live without and the one he constantly prioritized over me was his own brother.

Not a chapter update but just a fun fact about me when it comes to Supernatural. I had been dodging watching it for YEARS because of how long it was. I watched like 5 mins of the first episode around 2018ish? Season 14 had just started and a school friend of mine recommended it. I was like, “14 SEASONS?!?? NO THANK YOU” XD. The only show that I cared to be up to date with at that time was Criminal Minds lol.

I completely abandoned the idea of watching Supernatural. So last year, around March. Your girl had no will to live because she was unemployed and depressed (doing better now<3). So I was like, “I’ve been seeing this damn show for YEARS. I might as well watch it before I die”………I’m now writing fan fic about them😭And that’s a BIG thing for me because I’m also a Directioner (even got a tat dedicated to Harry so that goes to show) and I neverrrr wrote fan fic of them though.

The tears I have shed, the heartache I’ve been through. It was like I knew these people personally. I have loved shows in the past, but none can compare to the way I love Supernatural🫶My boyfriend has to hear endlessly about how I’d leave him for Dean in a heartbeat. And you know what? He doesn’t blame me cuz he would too🤣

Mind you, I’ve watched The Vampire Diaries and The Originals first. So when people used to compare The Salvatores to The Winchester and say “Sam and Dean solo” I was genuinely like HOW the fuck could these HUMANS take on THEEEE SALVATORES??? 15 seasons later…..I know my boys could take on the fucking Mikaelsons. Light work💀

I was all Team Salvatore. Now it’s Damon who?😂😂😂I still love Damon but not as much as I love Dean. I also fully believe that any Damon girls are Dean girls and any Sam girls are Stefan girls. I don’t make the rules lol.
