A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school? i think literature was always his favorite. he used books to escape life just as much as belle did, (at least for a time in his young life), but he actually got to go to school and perfect the act.

D: How they react to being flirted with? well, depends on the era. before the curse, he expected it. he was the center of attention, the epitome of wealth and beauty. everyone was after him, and he relished in it!! it fueled his vanity. but when belle flirts with him?? he gets so flustered shdksjdj. much more at a loss for words. because now it’s real, now it’s actual love, actual attraction, actual chemistry. and just as faithfully, when people of the court flirt with the king, who is very much in love with his wife, he tends to brush them off and even get uncomfortable by it. he’s so afraid of ever leaning into the life he used to live, and he never wants belle to think he would ever stray. it’s the last thing he’d ever want to do. he is devoted to his beloved!!

A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school? since this is duplicated!! i’ll say that i also headcanon he’s very interested in history and geography. i think he likes looking at maps and studying them, and looking through old archives and such. his biggest special interest is fashion though, so a lot of the time it relates to fashion in some way or another. history of certain styles, places where certain textiles and fabrics come from, cultures that they originate in. he loves studying that stuff!!!

M: What is their favourite dessert? ooooh i think adam has quite the sweet tooth, haha. i could list a bunch of french pastries but he mostly loves the ones with chocolate and cream and maybe almond too!! i love thinking about all the instances when belle is baking cookies or sweets for other people, NOT her husband, and how often he sneaks into the kitchen to try and steal one (and how often she scolds him and shoos him out!!)

T: Where are they ticklish? mostly around his sides i think, sides and tummy!! it’s hilarious (to belle) and he hates it because she uses it to her advantage far more than should be allowed. he has the cutest little laugh when she tickles him though so… she’s never going to Stop lmao. (most of the time it’s just her attempting to tickle him and him being like BELLE, NO. STOP. NO. and running for his life or fighting her off sfjskdj)

OOH Tactical Engagements for the “one scene” ask meme?

Thank you so much for the ask, my friend!!! This is a reply for this ask meme, about the one scene for which you wrote the entire fic.

"Tactical Engagements" is a rare fic for me, in that the first scene that popped into my head (in this case, leaping into my mind as an act of like, demonic possession right as I was waking up one morning) actually ended up being the first scene in the fic. I had a vision of Cody, about to be arrested, knowing he's probably karked but going quietly because he doesn't want any of his brothers to have to shoot him, and then turning around to watch Obi-Wan's face while the cuffs are put on.

And then I had to figure out why any of that was happening! XD Little excerpts of the first bits that came to me below the cut:

“I don’t want anyone to get hurt,” Cody was telling someone in the room, “I’ll go quietly - you have my word - as soon as I’m sure the General is okay.”

“I’m afraid ‘your word’ means very little under the circumstances,” a voice replied, and Obi-Wan’s mind was clearing enough to identify the sour, cramped notes of Admiral Tarkin. “Now on your knees, CC-2224, and put your hands behind your head. Unless you’d prefer to be decommissioned right here.”

And that had Obi-Wan awake in a hurry, his left shoulder screaming in protest and the bacta tanks around the perimeter of the Vigilance’s medbay lurching nauseously sideways as he heaved himself into a sitting position.

...

“I’m very sorry to lose the chance to hear your legendary sophistry in action, Master Kenobi,” Tarkin replied, “but I have orders to take CC-2224 by force if I encounter resistance or delay. And as I’m sure we would all hate for a member of the Chancellor’s guard to have to shoot one of their own -”

A few of the blasters aimed in Cody’s direction wavered slightly, and Obi-Wan saw a muscle in Cody’s jaw jump in response.

“There’s no need for that, sir,” Cody said evenly. “I’ll go with you now.”

He dropped to his knees and laced his fingers together behind his head, turning with the motion so that he could face Obi-Wan as the troopers came forward to secure him. His eyes moved carefully over Obi-Wan’s features, and Obi-Wan didn’t need to stretch out with the Force to know what he was doing: he’d watched his Commander scan thousands of holo maps, committing every detail to memory in case he didn’t get another chance to consult them.
