You already know about this unpopular opinion, but that post I made about Maddie scolding Eddie every time they've interacted on screen is currently going around, and everyone's like "we need Maddie Eddie bestie-ism" in the tags, and I am still SO against that. I find it so much funnier that they barely interact and Maddie treats him like just her little brother's annoying best friend, and I love the idea that they butt heads regularly when they're in the same space. Like, Maddie just wants that man to stay OUT of her house. She knows how much he loves Buck, and she absolutely trusts him with Buck 100% (and she'd even trust him with Jee, no question), but when they're in the same room together (especially when Buck is present because Buck and Eddie together are just SO stupid), he annoys the absolute hell out of her, and she mostly just wants to throttle him.

So I am very against Maddie and Eddie interacting more. They would NOT be having wine nights together or hanging out on the regular. Though if they ever somehow ended up, like, full on drunk and in the same space, all bets are off, they'd have a ball, but ONLY in that specific circumstance, and then they would never speak of it again.

This is boring and not necessarily what this question is asking but I'm trying to learn how to use the new electric course books at the school I work at 😅 We've used electric course books before, but with the new sullabys we also changed to a new book series last semester and it's so different from the old one 😰 (I didn't teach any courses for the new sullabys last semester)

Don't Fix Me by Blind Channel 💙 I associate it with the summer shows I went to (particularly the Tampere and Jyväskylä ones because the song wasn't officially out yet, so it was fun being one of the first people to hear it 😌), and I know this is an unpopular opinion but I genuinely like the song and it's definitely in my top 5 favourites off the new album. Like, with Balboa and especially Bad Idea it took me a lot longer to learn to REALLY like them, but with WANS and Don't Fix Me I was INSTANTLY from the very first snippets like "ohhhh fuck yeah this is my jam!" 🥰 It slaps SO HARD and it never fails to make me smile. Yes, 14-year-old me would've loved it, and now-aged me loves it, what of it?? 😤 It's a fun song to sing along and dance to, it's GREAT live!!

Do you ever think about Adrien’s development in S4 and especially S5?

Overtime, he has grown resentful of a system that exploits him relentlessly.

Of the people he gave countless chances to, only to be let down over and over again.

Of the web of lies and half-truths he constantly finds himself tangled into. A web that is only growing bigger, stickier, and trickier to escape.

And the Senticousins. Do you ever think about them?

Do you ever think about how they are each other’s reflection, identical and opposites all at once?

“When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that… is monstruous.”

Do you ever think about their opposite character arcs in S5 — one learning mercy and trust, the other developing a rage so strong it could destroy the world?

Do you ever think that if Felix can now have this exchange with his mum, and mean it:

“They’re all monsters!”

“Not all of them.”

Then there’s nothing stopping Adrien from saying this:

“Look closer, Marinette. They’re the monsters.”
