Take the fandom would not like:
(CW: incest, age gaps, non-consensual relationships.)
a lot of the problems with drv3 chapter 3 could be fixed by swapping around Tenko and Kiyo's roles.
If you're going to do a dark backstory this chapter, incest is not the way to go. Danganronpa has done it so many times before it loses some of its impact. Same with serial killers.
This could be solved by keeping the vibes of the trial intact by Tenko's master having a non-consensual relationship with her. (Keeping it PG-13, because got to keep that rating.)
Specifically, her master was abusing her, and another Akido student Tenko pitied because they got it worse. She kills them as a mercy (to foreshadow chapter 6) but her Master treated her even worse because of it.
Kiyo framing Himiko is boring, since the two have had little interaction before this. Tenko framing Himiko is heartbreaking, because of how much Tenko loved and admired Himiko.
Kiyo seems out-of-character for most of trial 3, since it didn't seem like the logical progression of his character. For him to be caught, he had to catch the idiot ball and kill Tenko.
Tenko's main target being Angie, and killing the medium because she was worried the ritual would actually work. (I imagine in this au that less people genuinely buy it.)
Tenko lobbies for Himiko, the most magical, to be the medium, but Kiyo volunteers instead because he'd be honored to take part in such a ritual. (to fit with the v3 lore, what if it was one he's never heard of?) (also no gender requirement since the trial no longer really needs it.)
Tenko's hatred for Angie is less of a love triangle, and more of a PTSD trigger.
Tenko's philosophy is at odds with her talent, and I think that could be an excellent metaphor for extreme trauma molding her into someone she would never become without it.
Himiko had to grapple with the fact that Tenko thought she was so weak, Tenko felt like she had to mercy kill her.

Shigaraki was explicitly stated to have an origin chapter and the fandom just gloss over it thinking he the final boss and I laugh everytime maybe I should start saying origin quartet to drive it home to people
Tenko Shimura Origin parts 1 and 2: Shows a kid who wanted to befriend the friendless, wanted to be a hero, wanted to feel accepted in his own home in his own family, wanted his big sister to protect him when he was scared, wanted his mom to hold him as he killed her, wanted his dad to protect him and tell him it wasn't his fault and accept his apology for turning their entire family to dust, was so distressed by his father's reaction that he snapped and killed him too, was so swelled up with guilt and shock that he couldn't even speak to anyone on the street to say he was lost, just wanted someone to take his hand and tell him it was okay and that he's not bad or evil and validate the fact that it was an accident and not his fault.
Tomura in chapter 379: I've always wanted to destroy. I hate my house and wanted to destroy it the whole time I was there. I wanted to kill my family and my father. I will only be saved by following the path of destruction that my abusive master laid out for me, who I just acknowledged as someone who was grooming and using me, and now I'm asserting my independence by doing exactly what he wanted me to do and believing what he wanted me to believe. Has it worked? Has it made me happy yet? Nope! This time for sure though!
Reactions to 379: Yes. Finally. Tomura acknowledges his origin that has always been rooted in the desire to destroy the house and family aforementioned. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that his self-perception is incredibly skewed by years of gaslighting causing him to re-contextualize his grief as him remembering that he wanted it to happen, and it's not like that re-contextualization has resulted in him hating himself for what he did or anything, it's not like he didn't completely distort and twist the narration over his memories to make it easier to cope. It's not like Tomura Shigaraki: Distortion is about how he feels like he'll never feel good again and the title itself speaks to how he feels this way because of distorted thoughts. His desire to destroy has nothing to do with the fact that the reason he wants to destroy it all is because he doesn't see a place for himself in the world, so the only option left is for him to get rid of it all. It has nothing to do with the fact that he hates himself for the deaths of his family members and that's why every time he gets insanely triggered his family and his home are at the forefront. It's not like his real issue lies with how he remembers his relationship and feelings toward his family. Yeah, not that at all.
I don't really know a more blatant way to say this.
Tomura is not angry about society. He is angry that, no matter what society looks like, he'll never fit in with it, because he's an evil bastard who always wanted to kill his family, and then did.
That's what he believes anyway.
I feel that the hang up is this view on society he has. He doesn't care. He wants it gone because he can't be in it, he can't be a part of it. He doesn't want it gone simply because it sucks. It does suck. His experience is real. But that's not what he wants someone to validate his feelings on. He doesn't need that.
He needs to escape the distortion in his brain. He wasn't born to destroy. He wasn't "always wanting" his family to die. He didn't want it to happen when it did. He still feels guilty because of the distorted perceptions he has toward himself that tell him he wanted it to happen and that he meant to do it, when in reality, it was an accident.
He hates himself because in his mind he'll never rejoin the world with everyone else. That self-hatred is what Izuku saves him from, and that self-hatred is a direct result of AFO.
So yeah, he still needs to be saved from AFO lol.

Oh~ Mod akane I have one for Tenko~ it can be either a headcanon or one-shot but I'd like for tenko to be with a male s/o who's very patient with her when it comes to her being energetic and loud as well as when she relapses a bit when it comes to him being male. He also helps her become less volatile and hostile towards men who don't deserve it and slowly but surely helps her overcome the things her master taught her.
Tumblr media
Here you go I decided to go with head canons since they are easier for me to write.
Tumblr media
Tenko Chabashira with a male s/o who is patient with her:
* When you first met Tenko you instantly wanted to get to know her, but when you went up to her she told you to leave her alone rather coldly
* You respected her stance and didn’t bother her again until you became friends with Himiko giving Tenko no choice, but to tolerate you
* She did play nice, but you could tell she got annoyed if you spoke to Himiko for too long or asked her loads of questions
* She didn’t even give you a proper chance until you defended her in one of the class trials when she was falsely accused she felt guilty for how she treated you since you defended her
* After that trial Tenko was slightly nicer to you since when you had to hang out with her she didn’t interrupt anything you said and even answered you nicely though sometimes condescendingly
* After a while of that you wanted to help her change her views and get to know her better, so you asked Tenko to hang out
* She was skeptical at first even if her opinion of you was getting better your still a man, so she agreed to come, but gave you a whole list of conditions
* The hang out with her went surprisingly well and she was happy you didn’t mind her loudness and didn’t tell her to quiet down all the time
* You even let her choose the activities and she was happy you were able to keep up with them because it would be quite boring if you didn’t
* The two of you had a lot more of these hang outs and the two of you started to date
* Even though Tenko loves you because if she didn’t she wouldn’t of accepted you as her boyfriend
* She still has an uneasy feeling in the back of her head and it’s something you try to help her with
* Since at the start of the relationship she didn’t want to kiss and hug you for longer than a few seconds where if it was any longer she would freak out since she thought she’d become weak
* To help put her mind at ease you told her to hug you for longer than usual, she agreed since she wants to improve
* After that hug she was really worried, but you told her to punch through this piece of wood to prove to her that her strength has remained the same
* As your relationship with her progresses Tenko gets better with her stance on men, but she does have an odd moment where her old views resurface
* Such as when a situation happens she defends the women without hearing the man’s side of events, but once you remind her to rethink she calms down and remembers not all men are evil
* There are days where she won’t want you to touch her scared that she will loose her strength even if that isn’t true on those days you reassure her that nothing like that will happen and give her some space
* She still has a long way to go since it is a lot of work to completely change her views she’s had for years overnight, but Tenko appreciates how patient you are with her and it motivates her to try even harder because she doesn’t want to break up with you, even though you would never dream of leaving her, unless that is what she wanted.

Hi hello big fan of you giving the V3 cast a corruption arc via the Remnants AU. Have you gone into how Kaito fell into despair, since I think you mentioned he was one of the first ones to go?
Hi there! I’m so glad you like the AU! And yesss corruption arcs are top tier
Tumblr media
It’s sort of been mentioned a few times in passing, and I plan to touch on it a bit in the fic I’m trying to write for the au (you know, if my dumb brain can be convinced it’s ok enough to actually post) but no, I haven’t gone into too much detail about how Kaito fell to despair…. until now!
So! Part of that is because unlike some of the others like say, Ryoma, I don’t think there was one big inciting incident that got Kaito into despair. I think it was a much more gradual, slow, methodical deconstruction of him and his ideas until Junko and despair was all he could possibly be. Junko used her skills as a master manipulator to do a targeted character assasination Kaitos perception of himself, his relationships, and his very dreams until he had absolutely no hope left.
Kaito does think he was the first to get turned, which has a big effect on how he interacts with the other remnants (he isn’t actually right, unbeknownst to him Tsumugi was the first in the class to be brought into despair. But in part because of her talent, she is a Very good actress, and since she’s quite plain (you know, according to the games, despite Tsumugi having one of the best designs in all of danganronpa), no one else noticed she was in despair until much later, and so Kaito genuinely thinks he came first.
A core part of Kaitos character is wanting to be seen as a hero, and while a great deal of that was corrupted beyond recognition in despair (doing more and more almost cartoonishly evil things so he’ll be seen as a villain to the general public), with the other remnants he still tries to take on that leader role. He wants to be looked up to, he wants to keep them working as a team, he wants to keep them doing their best to keep Junko’s vision alive, and he wants to be the one responsible for that. If he isn’t going to be a hero he’ll be a champion to the villains!
It’s likely one of the main reasons he’s so often at odds with Kokichi. Kokichi’s ultimate puts him in the perfect position to usurp Kaito as de facto leader. (Side note: whether any of the other remnants actually see Kaito as a leader is debatable. Kirumi, Angie, and Ryoma all have much larger followings that extend beyond the core remnants themselves, as does Kokichi, and many like Tenko only recognize Junko’s authority and no one else’s, but Kaito sees himself as the leader of everyone.)
He’s Junko’s favourite after all right! (He wasn’t.) Why else would she have picked him first? (She didn’t.) So why shouldn’t he be in charge? (He isn’t.) Kaito honestly has a lot of issues with self worth and his own self imposed importance, and those are likely the qualities Junko exploited most.
Oh yeah! And sort of just a general note for Kaito, he’s not gonna have any variation of his illness at any point in the AU. I myself have a lot of health complications irl so I don’t really feel like tackling something like that in an AU that’s just for fun lol (don’t worry I’m fine, it’s just a hassle lol)
Thanks for this ask, it gave me an excuse to prattle on about Remnant Kaito lol

Although there were flaws and they were by no means perfect, I really did enjoy the Dangan Ronpa series, and feel that every installment had some parts it did better than the others.
The first game was rather novel at the time, and the real-time 'trial' gameplay it introduced was tons of fun and allowed for more tension compared to the trials in the Ace Attorney games (which are fun in their own right). The intertwining of the characters and discussions of social issues such as the idol industry, the perception of "man" and "manliness", otaku culture, how others could interpret suicide, and so forth, paired with the simplicity of "hope versus despair" in its purest form allowed the cast to feel so full of depth, much more than their initial introductions made them seem. It was truly revolutionary. Also Ouyama voicing Monokuma in Japanese felt like being hit by a 50-freight train.
SDR2's story was more fantastical compared to DR1 but it absolutely excelled with its puzzles and trials. I found them to be far more interesting and more difficult/complex which really drew me in. The characters are also absolutely spectacular (I am pretending Hanamura doesn't exist) and I adore that none of them have a simple relationship with another. From the conflicting Pekoyama who devotes herself as merely a tool to be used and discarded by her master, Fuyuhiko, who desires for her to learn and grow and eventually stand by his side as an equal - as a human; to the appreciation and loathing that Saionji holds towards Mikan; to the muddled mixture of love and hatred that is KomaHina. It was all so wonderful and I found myself so attached to these characters.
Ultra Despair Girls existed.
Dangan Ronpa: Zero and DR: Kirigiri were interesting reads and helped to provide additional characterization for some of the cast members that didn't get as much game screen time. They were by no means exceptional, but I would consider them decent supplementary material.
Dangan Ronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer was surprisingly more interesting than I expected. It introduced new characters which weren't the most compelling, but the primary focal relationship was just so charming and the finale was fantastic and I am such a sucker for double suicide-murders as a way to convey your love I mean what.
NDRV3 ends with another charming cast but primarily the OumaSai dynamic which felt like it really made you think and wonder and speculate. The overarching theme of "truth/real versus lie/fake" was delivered spectacularly within the confines of these two characters, and I am furthermore biased with the existence of all the wonderful girls this game introduced. Tenko you are so wonderful and even though you are a fictional character, you deserve so much better.
DR3 Side: Hope existed.
DR3 Side: Future was... interesting. I enjoyed a lot of the characters - and I feel that this is one of the series' strong points - and yet, somehow many of them felt lacking. Ruruka especially got on my nerves as she was played up to be this competent manipulator type and ended up as just. bratty.

Tenko with a male reader who is extremely patient and loving to her. They also help her with her problems and issues that she has regarding males and the things her master taught her.
Tenko Chabashira with an Extremely Patient Male S/O
Honestly, patience is the number one thing Tenko needs in this relationship
Being a male and dating Tenko is... Quite difficult at times
She acts very tsundere-like towards you, and even though she tries to tone it down, she still brings up her prejudice towards males
She'll also state that you're lucky she's even dating you, considering that you're a male
And somehow, you're tolerant of these things
Anyone else would probably just give up and walk away
But you know that it's not entirely her fault, and that it was just the way she was taught
But you need to find a way to get her to talk to you without pushing away
It'll be a long time, but you'll get there
It'll take a lot of conflict, a lot of fights (mainly one sided) and most importantly, the patience to get through it all
But it will be worth your while
And eventually, Tenko will soften up
She'll fully realize that you really are different from other degenerate males, and she'll be more willing to open up
She'll even apologize for the way she acted initially
She's still learning to swallow her pride and admit her true feelings for you, but she does make progress
She'll start saying "I love you" without you having to say it first, and it doesn't sound as forced
And she gets better with giving affection
She'll start hugging you more, though she's hiding her face because she's blushing so much
But nonetheless, she's making progress, which is all you could ask for
Tenko is slowly learning that not everything her master taught her was the truth, and even though it's a difficult journey, you make it more bearable
And Tenko couldn't be more grateful for you

Vestiges Of Hope
Tumblr media
Akamatsu Kaede is a sweet, kind girl who was parented by the infamous princess Sonia Nevermind and the cruel breeder, Gundham Tanaka. As heiress to the Novoselic throne, she leads the group with pride and does her very best to be a ray of sunshine, even in the wasteland she's forced to carry out her missions in. Always making the best of things, she's as proud as a proud leader can be.
Amami Rantaro is a soft-hearted, chill young man who often serves as a caretaker and soother to his fellow Vestiges Of Hope, offering a comforting shoulder to cry on and expired food to snack on. He prefers to take a more backseat approach, but is a true survivalist, knowing exactly how to ration food and supplies to keep everyone's hunger and pain at bay... for now.
Chabashira Tenko is the product of Sakura Ogami's and Kenshiro Kasumi's relationship, even before they became Remnants. She was repeatedly tossed and left to be molested by the men of the group, who could more often than not overpower her due to her youth. They claimed they did this out of love to give her despair, although this actually gave Tenko an irrational fear and hatred of males as a whole, and a special attachment to a certain red magician...
Gokuhara Gonta is someone who was basically raised by his parents' hounds. Nekomaru Nidai and Akane Owari were often too preoccupied with fighting the Future Foundation, and instead locked Gonta in a cage with dogs, who he began to consider family. However, due to this, his language skills were very stunted and he began to express how he feels in a more animalistic way than his peers, often lacking the words to express how he feels. He knowledge of entomology allows him to assess which insects are poisonous and would make good weapons against the Remnants Of Despair... if he can bear to give them up, that is...
Harukawa Maki was the product of a despairing affair between Celestia Ludenberg and Hifumi Yamada, whose dynamics on servant/master had very much switched after their Remnantification. When Maki was born, she was the subject of both her mother's forced starvation and her father's perversion, resenting them beyond belief. Upon her escape, she takes on the title "The Dark Shadow" to avoid her parents figuring out who she is before the confrontation that will end Hope vs Despair.
Hoshi Ryoma is a boy who was born to Hiyoko Saionji and Teruteru Hanamura as a means to cement their despair. Having grown up belittled and beaten by Saionji and burned and fileted by Hanamura, he lost faith in himself but became a Vestige Of Hope purely to aid his best friend, Tojo Kirumi, in hopes of bringing the people who forced her to be their slave to justice finally. He's also the only one who seems to sympathize and understand that those aren't their parents, but brainwashed shells of the outstanding human being they used to be.
Idabashi Kiibo is the product of Kazuichi Souda's obsession with Princess Sonia Nevermind, built to have blonde hair and blue eyes. Due to the hair being synthetic, as well as the skin, neither color matched, and the eyes were the wrong shade from Sonia's. However, the closest person to being the Ultimate Robot's other parent is Chihiro Fujisaki, who assisted in programming him. He was initially programmed to be a sort of "assistant" to the Remnants, assisting in the torture and mutilation of his future friends and as an overall "caretaker" to them. Eventually, he grew sentient, and helped the Vestiges escape, joining their cause. He has occasionally been referred to by the pseudonym "Savior" for this reason.
Iruma Miu is the child of Toko Fukawa and Byakuya Togami. Always witnessing her father berating and beating her mother, who was used as a fighting dog, she was left alone a lot. As such, she grew to tinker with things until she could make miraculous inventions in order to entertain herself. This led the Remnants to desire to use her and her talent for their purposes, causing Miu to immediately search for an escape. That's how she joined the Vestiges, aiding in their escapades with her gadgets and cracking witty quips and puns all as she does.
Momota Kaito was born to Kyoko Kirigiri and Kiyotaka Ishimaru as a means of being the subject of his parents' despair, neither one being with the person they loved to make this child. Rather, Kaito grew up constantly abused and disfigured by his mother and forced into a martyr-esque mindset by his father, learning to always find hope and stand against the two in secret. With aspirations to soar the heavens, he uses his knowledge of machinery and aircrafts to work alongside Miu in taking down the Remnnants.
Ouma Kokichi is the product of Mikan Tsumiki and Nagito Komaeda. He was conceived using the owner of Junko's ovaries and the person who was so strongly invested in hope, hence why he was the one chosen to be raised as Junko Enoshima's heir. He was tortured the most heavily to introduce him to despair: beaten, raped, mutilated, and the like, oftentimes by unwilling men and women who his parents had captured. Due to this, he possesses the greatest hatred for Junko Enoshima, and the Remnants. As a Vestige, he normally works to convert supporters of the Remnants who hadn't been brainwashed over to their side, developing quite a skill in manipulation and people work.
Saihara Shuichi is a young man who was born to parents Makoto Naegi and Mukuro Ikusaba, who was brainwashed by her sister. He was often forced to endure harsh military tortures, as well as the nearly fatal drawbacks of his father's luck, which had fell back on him after his father's Remnantification. Although Junko allowed her sister to keep the man of her dreams, it wasn't without cruelty, forcing them to put their own child through horrendous suffering. One of the only ones who holds no resentment toward his parents, instead only for Junko, the group often refrains from trusting him with vital information upon their escape.
Shinguji Korekiyo is a man shrouded in mystery. Often abused by a now deceased elder sister, he snapped before any of the other Vestiges did, being the catalyst for their uprising. Son to Ibuki Mioda and the Ultimate Imposter, he filled his mind with knowledge on the history of cultural musics and costumes, developing a deep love for anthropology. Due to this, often he'll discuss it with anyone who will listen, those tending to be Kaede, Gonta, Rantaro, Kiibo, or Shuichi, who are too polite to refuse.
Shirogane Tsumugi is the daughter of famous pop star Sayaka Maizono and popular baseball star Leon Kuwata. Seeing the way her mother was able to influence the people who followed her, Tsumugi developed an obsession with using the personas of celebrities in order to avoid becoming like her mother's fans. His sewing talent is immaculate, and she used one of her disguises, that of her own mother, to not only escape the facility, but to take her friends with her undetected, under the guise of taking them to a new location. She now uses this talent to infiltrate their bases and blend in with her surroundings as a Vestige Of Hope.
Tojo Kirumi is the daughter of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu and Peko Pekoyama, and was raised practically as their slave. She was made to do all the cleaning, all the cooking, and all the chores for both the Remnants and the Vestiges. Although she didn't mind this for the Vestiges, she resented the Remnants extremely for this, and longed to destroy them one day. Upon her escape, she maintains her servant-like qualities as a show of appreciation for the other Vestiges for accepting her into the group, as well.
Yonaga Angie is the product of the relationship between Yasuhiro Hagakure and Aoi Asahina. She was left mainly in the "care" of Yasuhiro, someone who mainly just set a bad example, although occasionally he would be genuine to his daughter, using kindness to attempt to lure her to his side. He even got her her first paint set, and desperately wanting to please him, she painted despairing things at first, although eventually she would paint a savior amongst the despair, giving her a deep comfort in religion during her dark times. Upon her escape, she would name this presence "Atua", after a Polynesian deity Korekiyo told her about.
Yumeno Himiko is the result of the union of Mahiru Koizumi and Mondo Owada. She spent most of her life locked up or photographed in despairing situations, so she eventually learned simple magic tricks to amuse herself and her fellow Vestiges, delighting in bringing smiles to their faces when times got hard. Eventually, her prestidigitation aided in their escape, and she would continue to use these tricks and distractions to garner the attention of the Remnants and lead them away from the Vestiges, putting her talent to better use than she ever did in captivity, all the while her favorite fighter vows to remain by her side.

Okay give me your ideal Tenko and Kiiruma arc
Like,,, ideally...
Tenko's canonically neurodivergent and her backstory is less about her "bad behavior" and more of "her parents had no idea how to teach her coping mechanisms" this changes nothing about the plot, but please?
Her master is more clearly abusive. This shouldn't be fan theory territory.
Himiko is manipulating her (pun not intended) into surviving the killing game- having someone physically strong around that won't kill you is a benefit.
She starts to become aware of this when either Shuichi or Kaito (I want it to be Shuichi, but Kaito makes more sense.) tells her she's risking her own life to protect Himiko's image, and that Himiko's guilt or innocence doesn't matter, she loses either way.
Himiko's obviously angry about this, and gives whoever told Tenko the cold shoulder throughout chapter 3.
Tenko spends ch3 trying to win Himiko's "affections" back, thinking she did something wrong. Abusive victim Tenko!
Meanwhile, Himiko is either practically in charge of the student council, or she and Angie are co-leaders.
Himiko is disqualified from being the Caged Child because she's too close with Angie. She's a likely suspect.
As a result, Shuichi is forced to, to Kork's annoyance. (Kokichi is the main one that pushes for it, since he doesn't trust Shuichi in the slightest and wants to see how he'd react to walking into a trap.)
Tenko won't have this, since she knows Shuichi is smarter than her in the trial. As a result, she volunteers! She's allowed to do this, since nobody thinks Angie would open the door for her.
Things continue as is canon. I wouldn't make Himiko completely irredeemable, since she's just playing the killing game smart. I'd honestly bring up the Weakness plotline with Chihiro, and that someone like her needs to either beef up or make some tough, loyal friends. As for Kiibo/Miu
Kiibo protag would be far more interesting than Shuichi protag. But I'm not rewriting the entire game!!!
The flashback lights don't affect Miu fully, either because she's not entirely human like her FTEs suggest or because she knows enough about the tech to know it could be fake.
In their bonus scene, Kiibo is into it but Miu does a complete 180 and is no longer into it. Kiibo respects that ofc, but it gets Miu thinking about if her backstory itself is fake, since obviously getting dicked down by a robot is the Ultimate Win for her! If she doesn't want that... what else is she wrong about?
She's also meta aware like Kokichi. She targets him specifically because he knows the plot would be boring without him.
No relationship in Danganronpa can be wholesome when I'm around! (I have a wholesome Dr ship, but the fandom hates it. Ironically.)

Ask and you shall receive!
I saw the reblog on thelemoncoffee's post about the wheel of fate and I thought I'd pitch in to soothe your curiosity. You're welcome.
I don't know if you want the wheel of fates for THH and SDR2, so for now, voila! DRV3.
Chapter 1 Victim: Ryoma Hoshi, Ultimate Tennis Pro Chapter 1 Blackened: Kirumi Tojo, Ultimate Maid
Very in-character... because this already happened in canon. With the First Blood Perk too, that's a bonus. Makes me wonder if Kirumi's gonna be a more important character now that "she made it back to the outside world." (spoilers: she died). Maybe this case'll pop up again in Trial 6 or something to clue em in?
Chapter 2 Victim: Korekiyo Shinguji, Ultimate Anthropologist Chapter 2 Blackened: Gonta Gokuhara, Ultimate Entomologist
Now this... I'm assuming Gonta got his hands on Shinguji's motive video. What could possibly be part of his video, I have no clue. But I'm assuming it reveals the fact that he's a serial killer of women. Gonta goes Chapter 4 upon learning that. We all know how that ends.
Chapter 3 First Victim: Miu Iruma, Ultimate Inventor Chapter 3 Second Victim: Kaede Akamatsu, Ultimate Pianist Chapter 3 Blackened: Maki Harukawa, Ultimate "Child Caregiver" (Assassin)
OhoHO. With the motive being the Necronomicon, this is actually pretty fitting, given Maki was trained to be an assassin as a part of a cult that hid behind religion. This'll require some twisting of character, but perhaps Maki, instead of ignoring it, came to listen to the cult. She genuinely believes in the god the cult came up with, and thus things like the Necronomicon, making her a bit. Crazier than canon. Don't know who she wanted to raise from the dead and why or why she chose a double murder or why it was these two specifically though.
Chapter 4 Victim: Tenko Chabashira, Ultimate Aikido Master Chapter 4 Blackened: Kaito Momota, Ultimate Astronaut
Nekomaru vs Gundham vibes tbh. Since Angie's still alive, I can see her and Ouma being at odds with each other a lot. I say this because it's definitely connected, this is literally two of their biggest haters.
Chapter 5 Victim: Angie Yonaga, Ultimate Artist Chapter 5 Blackened: Himiko Yumeno, Ultimate Magician
Also because of this. The traffic lights trio get a hell of a lot more screen time here huh. I see people be disappointed that Angie never got character development, but it seems here she just went on a downward spiral. Himiko might've been dragged down with her unfortunately, acting as obsessive towards Angie the same way Tenko acts towards her, if not more, depending on how messed up you wanna take this. As a Yonameno shipper, ouch. But also Himiko as the Chapter 5 blackened imo is just chefs kiss and wow Angie really did take over Ouma's role as antag huh. Or maybe they're both main antags and we just have two.
Chapter 6 Mastermind: Shuichi Saihara, Ultimate Detective Chapter 6 Sacrifice: Tsumugi Shirogane, Ultimate Cosplayer
Ah yes. The classic mastermind that 95% of the DRV3 fandom wished for and never got. This is where shit gets real funky considering the amount of sheer AUs out there, but for the sake of simplicity let's just stick to the idea that this is a TV show and they all signed up for it among other stuff. Tsumugi as the sacrifice... well, if she and Rantaro had a good relationship throughout and she acted as his support, oh boy that's kinda depressing. But if she was like. The third rival (jfc so many ANTAGS in this game) cuz this is Tsumugi we're talking about, she definitely played traitor and just wants to get to the 54th killing game already.
Survivors: •K1-B0, Ultimate Robot •Kokichi Ouma, Ultimate Supreme Leader •Rantaro Amami, Ultimate ??? (Adventurer/Survivor)
This trio... ok so Ouma actually gets to face what he's done instead of dying. That's pretty nice. Kiibo survives like he was supposed to in canon goddammit. Amami'll finally reach his full potential, bless. As the Ultimate Survivor, I really do wonder whether he'll ever remember his past games or not... Who knows, maybe he was a graduate blackened in a past game and antag Tsumugi/Saihara spilled those beans to stir shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And that's a wrap! I know I came out of nowhere, but I was ready to rant about this as much as you were begging to know more. I gladly took the chance. Try for the opportunity.
Oh wow, this is neat! For Maki’s chapter, maybe she targeted Miu due to personal dislike, but Kaede walked in on her with the body, so she had to kill her to keep her quiet?
(And I would actually like the THH and SDR2 wheels of fate, I was curious about those too.)

Perfect description. The plot twist is that it turns out Tenko is the degenerate in the relationship.
Be nice to Tenko-chan. There is a certain innocence to her relationship because her Master messed with her so much~
