Imagine a world where Bruce got really into the occult when his parents died.

He did all the things. He bought a Ouija board. He went to psychics. He held seances.

He never did talk to his parents.

But, sometimes he wasn't as careful as he should have been. Once, just once, when a Ouija session once again failed to reach his parents, he left the planchet on the board and never said goodbye.

How long would it take for something to come through? How long would it take for Bruce and Alfred to notice? The manor is so very big and it has so many lovely dark places to hide.

If things get moved around, who would really notice? Especially once Bruce adopts the Robins. So many children causing so much chaos at all hours of the day and night.

No, I expect that no one would notice until Duke moves in. But even then, who knows how long it would take him to notice one big humanoid shape hidden away in some long forgotten attic room.

Help I made bad financial decisions

Jenny Park Teen Vouge 2024

Born to a Korean mother and Nigerian father, Park faced hardships growing up during a time when South Korea was largely thought to be homogeneous.

“In Korea, there are not a lot of mixed people, especially those of different [skin tones] or colors. I also grew up in a small town. So a lot of people would stare at me and view me differently," Park says. "But whenever that happened, I never stayed sad because I don't like to be emotional.”

Through some of the rough times of her childhood, Park shares that her mother was her rock. “My mom would always encourage me and tell me: ‘You are so special and so important Jenny.’” All of which helped to affirm her self-confidence and made her career in modeling possible.

The young model is hopeful she can make an impact on the overall representation of mixed-race models in the industry, especially models of Korean and African heritage like herself.

“Before I was a model, I always tried my best to be a good role model to others. But now with my platform, I think I am actually able to make a difference for others like myself.”

ok i admit i dont really go for urban fantasy and the combat/fighting scenes in it were rough and i thought some of the plot was dumb but the first book in the tarot sequence got me??? like a solid 3.5/5 which given my innate distaste for UF is p damn high. it's about the RELATIONSHIPS. the rune-brand brother bond and how they understand each other and love each other and fight and cuss each other out and care so deeply and apologize and work around each other's trauma and triggers. addam's priority always being his brother. THE TERRIBLE DELIGHTFUL TEENS MAX AND QUINN. whatever the fuck is going on with ciaran i adore him. the 20+ yr recovery arc. the magic system with the sigils and courts based on the major arcana. the INSANE amount of plot bombs dropped in the book 1 epilogue. everyone is so traumatized and yet they get up and they try. ive only had max for a day and a half etc etc etc

like. it is dark and heavy and holy holy shit content warnings abound i would not actually /recommend/ it to most ppl because of that, but it's not grimdark. terrible unspeakable things happen and keep happening and yet there is tentative hope of ending the cycle or at least saving a few kids and building a home and there's love and accidental child acquisition and idk ik ive been real tired lately and it's no masterpiece. but it hit in some kind of way i wasnt expecting it to
