I’m campaigning for Techno and Joe Hills for 3 reasons:

1) I was a Technofan first and Techno is someone I care deeply about, and also because he would be both impressed and mildly horrified to find out he won this. This idea brings me joy because I am a Wrong person

2) Joe Hills is hilarious, charismatic, eccentric, and is campaigning hard. Also has the lowest number of subs of all the hermits. Deserves to win purely because he’s holding his fuckin own against WILBUR FUCKING SOOT, DUDE, and Wilbur losing this poll is very very funny to me, personally

3) the urge to do something because I will derive joy from it or think personally that it would be funny is an urge so strong that I rarely question its legitimacy!

Referring to your previous post about the dream situation, it's probably because technofans aren't that familiar with the situation? Like yeah the accusations have floated around but unless they've done digging (and why would they, they don't even support him in the first place) they don't know the severity of the situation.

Not an excuse, but an explanation. I do hope it prompts people to look into it, I know for sure I'm not giving dream a single view

The first time I heard of Technoblade was one of those “Dream fans: Techno sucks! Techno fans: we know” jokes and honestly it was very misleading.

Because I didn’t know anything about Technoblade, I thought this meant he was one of those content creators who has said/done a lot of sketchy things, and his fans know this but watch him anyway because his content is entertaining.

I finally watched one of Technoblade’s videos because my brother recommended the Great Potato War, and now I’m like “problematic? This man drew the line at using sleep deprivation to get more potatoes because he thought it might constitute as torture. 0/5 not dedicated enough smh”

Still, I sometimes wonder how many people like me are introduced to MCYTs through Dream and hear of Technoblade first through one of those jokes, and when one of his videos pop up in their recommended, think “oh, it’s that Youtuber whose fans don’t like him,” and scroll past.

(i actually dont remember.) so the event hadnt even started yet and phil(?) was just talking to chat, running around and stuff. and who do i see in the background? TECHNO. so i go OH. WAIT IK YOU!!! and i instantly go to his channel and realize hes that funny dude! so i decide to watch his stream! AND HE JUST. POPS OFF. LIKE EVERYONE IS AMAZED AT WHAT HE DID IN THE FIRST MCM.
