He's so giddy. But, if you're shorter, he'll be a gentleman and grab books for you (using his sheep as a boost). 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Speaking of, he's so sweet. He gets doors, chairs and umbrellas for you, you're his crush he has to impress you! 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 If it's cold out, he hesitates before offering you his jacket. He says he'll be fine without it (he shivers like the world's most frightened leaf). 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 If you're gone too long, he gets kind of sad that he's all alone. 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 It's not that he needs a lot of your time… he just… needs your affection. Or else he'll get too worried without you there. Even a weekend alone gets him missing you. 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 If you struggle to sleep, he'll invite you for sleepovers to nap on his sheep. They love to be held, and he is close to admitting he wants to be held too, just a little bit. 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 There are many ways that Sylvie shows love but one of the particular ones he prefers is holding a hand under a table, even if you don't understand yet that it's romantic. He just wants you to be a little closer to him and relying on you just a little bit more, even if it makes him a bit flustered when you willingly hold his hand back. 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He's also a bit of a sweetheart and can't really understand how to communicate his feelings directly which is why he has so many roundabout methods even though he knows he should just directly say it and get it out. Epithet side effect headcanons that somehow turned into disability stuff while I was writing 👍👍 (these are kinda angsty I did not intend for that to happen but uh here we are—)

Molly — sometimes if she overuses her epithet, it can almost “nullify” her mind in a sense, giving her short-term memory problems on occasion. Usually it’s mild and doesn’t have much effect, just normal everyday forgetfulness, but when it’s bad, her head gets really fuzzy and she can’t focus or remember anything, she gets awful migraines and headaches, and she has a sort of feverish mind (y’know like when you’re so sick ur head feels Weird and u can’t Brain right). It’ll go away pretty quickly as long as she rests, but uh. We know she ain’t getting much of that.

It’s really Stressful and frustrating for her, because she KNOWS she forgot something but she can’t remember WHAT in the slightest.

This doesn’t happen very often thankfully since she doesn’t strain her epithet much, it’s like a once-every-few-months kinda thing.

Giovanni — got this one from a fic, Giovanni has a lot of sodium in his blood (cause soup, salty) which gives him wonky blood pressure, and it causes chronic nosebleeds. I like this one a lot cause I used to get nosebleeds on like a weekly, and in the summer, daily basis as a kid.

He got his first nosebleed in late spring when he was about 5 or so, just running around outside. He didn’t notice (and trust me when I say it can be HARD to notice) for a LOOONGGGG time. He ended up losing a LOT of blood. When you get a nosebleed it can sometimes run down into your throat and you’ll start spitting up blood it’s Uncomfortable and Gross. Anyways he went back home, went “hi moms :3 *soaked in blood, choking up blood*” andddd they Freaked Out.

He’s anemic because of it, and has to take iron meds. If he forgets to take them he gets really dizzy, and if it’s particularly bad, he can faint.

Sylvie — Narcolepsy. And insomnia. You can have both (and from what I know, they often go hand-in-hand), and he is Not having a good time.

He’s exhausted during the day, he tries to take stimulants to stay up but they don’t always work. When it’s night, he can’t go to sleep for the life of him, and if he does, he wakes up very often. It’s Not Fun. Sometimes he just gives up, and sleeps all day, then works all night.

Mera — We know the side effects, but I’m gonna mess with it a bit (aka I’m projecting). The muscles around her joints are really weak and frail, meaning it’s looser, so she has Hypermobility. Possibly also Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She’s got a lot of joint pain on top of her regular pain.

She’s got it b a d, if lifts her arm up too high it’ll jerk and she’ll be like “oh yup. Dislocated again.”

She’s absolutely COVERED in bruises and scars, whenever she has to get stitches it constantly tears. She heals horribly. She’s starting to develop arthritis as well.

Medication usually doesn’t do anything for hypermobility related pain, if you’re lucky it’ll take the edge off. Indus helps her out with heatpads and stuff, but other than that, she just has to tough it out.

Indus — nothing. Have u seen this man?? He probably drinks disgusting high vitamin smoothies every morning, he eats full proper meals, dude is in PEAK CONDITION. If he did have any side effects it would be completely negated by his sheer healthiness. Diseases and conditions fear him.

He is however that One Person who is prepared for Everything and will help u if u need it. He carries medication and heatpads for Mera in case she forgets them, as well as bandaids and antiseptic wipes. He’s just a Good fella… <33

actually she doesn't even really RACE at all, because it's irresponsible to drive a vehicle at these speeds

Uses smart steering

ALWAYS picks Daisy Circuit because of the statues of Luigi and Daisy together (she thinks they're very adorable)

as said, she mains Drybones

Trixie knows ALL the important game breaking things. Shortcuts, best item spots, what would theoretically be the best combo, you name it

I think they'd prefer the bikes over the karts

favorite tracks are Coconut Mall (the Mario Kart fandom will understand why), Mushroom Gorge and Boo Lake

has to intentionally play bad so people don't stop playing with her at all

if anyone has a perfect rating in all cups at all speeds it's Trixie

he's terrible

I don't think he has fully figured out how a race works, even though he was told multiple times

this man right here plays as a Mii racer, you can't change my mind

he likes playing together with Phoenica. They don't race, they just drive around the courses and look at the pretty scenery together

if he ever gets any speed item in the item roulette he will cause chaos

probably drives backwards and against walls as we're speaking

the way he plays makes you think he's really bad at hiding that he lets you win

he's oddly competitive even though his skills aren't the best but will intentionally play even worse when he knows someone is having a bad day

1, I feel like Switched!percy and Switched!Sylvie would do those puzzles with the irregular shapes (example pictured bellow for context)

2, Switched!zora taught herself how to play guitar, she didn't take lessons or anything

3, Hotshot feels like the kinda kid who has their bag covered in assorted pins, I feel like would've started collecting them around the first grade

4, Hotshot has a small drawer full of assorted trading cards, anything from pokemon to magic the gathering, if it exists there's a good chance that there's at least one card from it in that drawer

(This is mostly character ideas, storylines, and AUs that came to my mind over the course of a few months. If you want me elaberate on any of them just ask)

Percy tells dumb jokes that only Molly laughs at 

Epithet Erased Apocalypse au (mostly ‘Love and Monsters’ inspired with a bit of ‘Stray’) 

Percy only gets tattoos if it’s drawn by someone she loves or if it is representative of her as a person 

The less sleep Percy gets the less fucks she has to give (she becomes more irritable with lack of sleep)

Ramsey and Percy have the issue of people mistaking them both as the opposite gender. 

Molly’s stars start to glow after she spends time under a black light

Giovanni gets Molly a Tibetan Mastiff puppy for her birthday 

Percy has gotten very good at hiding her sword on her person

Molly learns to make clothing 

Giovanni’s boys like to argue over who Molly likes best

a/n… uhmmmm hiiii do you guys remember us… being an adult is difficult guys why do we do it. anyway. autism. i am not OFFICIALLY diagnosed myself (to which my friend immediately went "you were stimming so hard at the movie today bffr"), but i suspect i am and i also relate to sylvie so a good bit of this is projection ✧ 🦝

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Lovingly, have you seen this kid?

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 It goes without saying that no one in Epithet Erased is neurotypical but we’re not here to discuss that today.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Sylvie was diagnosed fairly early in life, some amount of time before he jumped a few grades.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He doesn’t really like acknowledging his diagnosis.  Unfortunately, upon getting diagnosed, the most exposure he had to autism was his uncle, and characters that fit the "genius" stereotype on TV.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 So, of course, Sylvie absorbed the pretentiousness from these sources trying to learn about himself.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Like, is it not just canon that he uses the “neurodivergent and a minor” excuse to everything online?

“Huh–?”  Molly blinks at Sylvie’s phone screen, opened on social media, but the way he chose to phrase the reply…  “Sylvie, I-I don’t think you should say that sort of thing!” “I’m literally neurodivergent and a minor.  This ‘adult’ is the one arguing with ME!”  Sylvie defends himself with a huff, missing the way Molly gives him a look that’s a mix between disappointment and disbelief. Isn’t Sylvie always the one saying he isn’t a kid?

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Sylvie didn’t really have a lot of friends as a child, considering how he tends to act around others.  Pretentious and defensive – it’s hard to get through to the Sylvie that’s more vulnerable and actually nice.  He’s mostly in environments of predominantly neurotypical people, and he finds himself in conflict of whether he should mask or not.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 He finds his stims embarrassing for example.  His most common ones are fiddling with and pushing up his glasses, pacing, talking to himself, and messing with his hair.  He also flaps his hands when excited but tries to stop himself from doing so, calling it ‘childish.’

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 His biggest stim of all?  Playing with his yo-yo.  It’s also a comfort item.  When commuting places or even just needing to do something with his hands, he’ll find himself using his yo-yo.  He tries to say he wouldn’t die without it, but he’s definitely more tense if he can’t use it.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 His special interests include psychology (duh) and epithets.  Things he can study.  However, he has a hyperfixation on card games that comes and goes when it feels like it.  Sylvie can be really distracted by games like Horizontal Pilot Command, so much that he can procrastinate on work, making him feel bad about it afterwards.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Meltdowns are “shamefully” common for Sylvie, and he needs a lot of time to ground himself.  He usually keeps to his room and uses his sheep to rest on or surround himself with.  The fluff is therapy sometimes.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 So socially, Sylvie struggles, it’s true.  He knows it, but a little worm of denial in his head tries to say it’s because he’s superior to these people, or something like that.  So, meeting someone who's similar to him means the world.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Sylvie with low empathy, and a friend who has high empathy?  Dynamic duo.  Sylvie can wonder if he’s just a jerk due to his low empathy, and he can seek reassurance for it.  A friend can help him feel less like a terrible person.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 His favourite joke is when someone asks him for something, he goes “no,” while doing exactly as asked.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Sylvester meeting someone with a psychology special interest?  He’s in literal heaven.  Two little nerds keep talking about things that make even full grown adults feel dizzy listening to.

“Ah, like Pavlov,” you say with a nod when Sylvie finishes his study help suggestion.  The chocolate in hand is an incentive to finish the page you’re scouring through. Sylvie perks up.  “Well, yeah!  Behaviourism is really important in Pavlov’s theory.  The more a behaviour is repeated, the more it affects the mind.” “Mhm!  Although I do like B. F. Skinner’s suggestion too,” comes your reply, and Sylvie feels his jaw fall slack at the fact you even know his name.  “Stimulus first, then response, then reinforce that response.” “Exactly!”  Sylvie sits up, louder than you ever heard him.  The study session was quickly brushed aside in favour for now bringing up the founders of behaviourism.

𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Sylvie doesn’t know anyone else his age with his diagnosis, so it really opens his eyes being with you.  And, not to mention, he finally has a friend who really gets him.  Where would he be without you, eh?  Or, so he jokes, but you can tell he’s serious.

Oh they’d have the BEST dynamic

Sasha is just the textbook definition of a gamer (I mean he CANONICALLY says “got ‘em”) and rages easily

Sylvie, on the other hand, is supposedly the calm and calculating gamer of the duo

...Except the minute Sasha starts beating him in any PvP, he starts blaming the controllers

They also do “joke games” from time to time, like makeover apps and such

Sasha always gets really into them and nobody can tell if it’s ironic or not and Sylvie just facepalms the entire time and questions his existence

They actually get a really high subscriber count quickly from Sasha’s charisma and their natural brotherly dynamic combined

Sylvie pretty much runs the channel (managing copyright strikes, viewer count, ect.) while Sasha chooses which games they’ll play next based on the latest trends and the up-and-coming indie games, which he’s very good at intuitively picking out

For their first 1,000 subscriber celebration, they brought Ari on as a guest, and people ADORED her. They promised to bring her on again for future subscriber benchmarks and their follower count has SKYROCKETED ever since

I had silly ideas while I was drawing the above so why not

• The older he gets, the more curly and golden his hair becomes! (As shown above, he has gold highlights, probably because of stress, just like our white hair thing)

• He's DEFINITELY an anime fan. Has displays of framed and signed posters of his favorites in his office and bedroom, along with figurines and collectibles

• He can do a fucking Donald Duck impression (Looks at Majin)

• His laugh is already therapeutic because of how genuine it sounds, no matter how rash(??) it is

• Probably takes sewing and cosplaying as a hobby (All costumes are made all by himself, and it's really fucking cool) So he matches with his sheep's lil costumes. (Would also attend conventions as long as nobody recognizes him LMAO)

Headcanons for Sylvie the Neo Trio hanging out? I want the kids to be kids together. 🥺

I've done a few of these before, but I'll do a revised one now that I actually know Phoenica and Trixie's personalities!

Molly introduces Sylvie to her "best friends" and he's instantly like. oh!!!! hahaha cool <:) very cool yes very neat </3

(Not like he thought he WAS her best friend or anything, but since she's his ONLY friend, it's going to take some getting used to—)

Luckily at least Feenie is instantly accepting of Sylvie into the group! Er, maybe a little too much? She seems mostly interested in petting his sheep... which kind of hurts...

But she's also easily impressed by his doctorate, which is a massive ego boost for him, so he's cool with her now—

Trixie takes a little longer. She does the whole "you'd better not hurt my BEST FRIEND MOLLY or I'll slit your THROAT—" thing and Molly has to hold her back

("Trixie, I appreciate your concern over what happened at the museum, but he's already apologized and you're going to scare him away from helping with our homework—")

Sylvie is genuinely terrified of Trixie but fakes being cool and suave and "HAH, well I'M almost a class two epithet user so what could you do to me—" which only makes Trixie MORE aggressive and fake her own "WELL I'VE CUT UP MORE BODIES IN WAYS THAT NO AMOUNT OF THERAPY COULD HEAL" persona and it's just a positive feedback loop while Molly is slamming her head in the background

Finally Sylvie walks in once on Trixie having an anxiety attack over a failed test while the other girls comfort them, and Molly is like "I was trying to tell you, they're not actually scary"

From then on the four of them have animal crossing parties and beanbag hangouts together :)
