Beans day was just over and Carol was sighing at the defeat on her team... not only did she get pinned down so quickly by someone, she also left it easy for Leroy to take out Henry. Shu and Lyla also returned and the group settled eating on a picnic blanket... Carol biting into her sandwich with a sigh.

"If only my usual problem didn't get in the way."

Lyla gave her a small tap on the shoulder.

"True if it wasn't a crush that pinned you down you would have fought back. But it was good for us really... "

Leroy puffed out his chest proud. "You already lost when I became a monster, sneaky take outs are my thing."

Meanwhile Shu was lost in the food just smiling as Leroy looked at him.

"Although you were the hardest to find, we took forever to find you."

"Maybe eventually I can surprise you, Uparupa."

Lyla sighed looking at them.

"Would have been fun thought if we all would have been one team... althought I am unsure if Carol would make a good monster."

"True I am more of a pacifist... But you three could teach me."

Leroy smirked. "How about instead we go and do something similar... a good round of Lazer tag... the winner has to pay Sushi next time."

"Oh I am all in."

Lyla and Carol put their hands to the middle with Leroys as they looked at Shu who smiled back at the three.

"Guess I can join a round too..."

As they all four put their hands in the middle they started to raise hands and do a loud high five in the air.

However as the girls went up excited and being quickly in talks with some of the other students, Leroy stayed behind looking at Shu.

"You did that on purpose during the game right... you were always there when I stealthed around."

"Well... yes.. but guess you need to get even more stealthy then."

Leroy turned around with a cheeky smile.

"Oh I can promise that, next time I can surprise you for sure."

Im sorry if this comes off as rude, but do u ever sleep? I say this bc no matter when i check tumblr theres always a new post, whether is 3 am, 10am, 3 pm and so on. I would say its just time zones but i have checked at so many different times.

I'm sure this has been said before but watching the end credits of the Shibuya arc got me thinking about the trio just bumming around Tokyo, hanging out, being kids.

Like, I was wondering what they could be doing as they're wandering around, taking pictures and goofing off.

And then it hit me. That's all they're doing. They're just being teenagers, hanging out after school, exploring the city and having fun. And this feels important to me for two reasons:

1) both Gojo and Nanami have expressed their goal of not having the kids waste/lose their childhoods because of the jujutsu world

2) it feels very much like the hidden inventory arc credits with the five of them hanging out and being teenagers before everything went wrong

Both of these things make me emotional, of course.

I just love all the little snapshots we get of these kids getting to be kids outside of the storyline every week. Going to the beach in the winter, playing at the arcade, running through the city taking pictures.

#it does wonders for explaining relationship development outside of what we get to see too #which also makes me emotional #i would honestly just watch several slice of life episodes with the kids just being silly goofy children #SHOW ME Nobara's first experience with the bullet train sushi #SHOW ME the pictures Megumi develops and hangs on the wall in his closet because they're important to him but he doesn't want anyone to kno #he's a sentimental softie but he has a reputation to uphold #SHOW ME Gojo and the gang getting BBQ and doing karaoke and hitting the arcades #i want to see who these kids are when they're not fighting for their goddamn lives #when i catch you gege #just let them be happy #i beg of you #jjk #jujutsu kaisen #i will pay real human money for an episode where they just hang out and have fun pre-Shibuya #i'm begging you #thinky thoughts

Summer Starters

On a hard day Lyla and Leroy had it hard to convince Carol out of a building given she hated the heat quite a lot.. however on that day they made their way, asking Shu per text to try to get some ice cream instead... yet as they arrived at the gates, Leroy has miscalculated the time and the Ice cream truck started to drive off.

"W-wait wait... damnit... its gone."

"Maybe not for long."

Lyla smirked, sending out one invention of hers out of her glove... a chasing tracking device... that could follow the route of the truck...

"If we take this route we could still make it."

Carol sighed a little as Shu patted her back.

"Don't worry, I trust them both, we can make it."

"Its just... I wish it would have worked right away, I am busy with correcting so..."

Leroy walked up to her. "I will get you some cool pads later, for now we should move."

The group followed Lylas quickest way to catch the ice cream track and somehow it worked for them catching up with it. Each of them got different flavours... they sat down under a Shadow of a tree eating it an chatting, as Carol noticed something about Leroy and whispered a small thing into Shus ear.... prompting him... Leroy noticed their mumbling and wanted to ask but before he could, Shu placed a small kiss on his lips turning him red like a tomato.

"W-wha-"

"You had some ice cream on your cheek."

Carol behind him was giggling while Lyla just gave her a high five.

"Glad you three are having your fun over my emberassment."

"Come on Lee... you two are just cute to watch really..."

"Can't you two focus on your own romances, I don't push you more towards your partners."

Carol patted his head. "We are just glad you are happy."

He looked back at Shu who smiled at him and avoided his gaze.

"Yes I am... "

The group has some cheerful chatter and at least, Carol felt far better continuing her work once she was back, Lyla even helping her while Leroy and Shu also walked together to Leroys room given Leroy passed out from the heat again and need pads for cooling... at least they could watch some shows after and rest.

This is Curry Cookie. I just never posted her because I was worried this mom-friend would be a bit insensitive.

But like.. it's just a Curry flavored cookie. Not as insensitive as Devsister's uh.. cough cough Yogurca cough cough.

This is Dristar's dad figure! Who got majorly scrapped because it's.. well it's just Dig-Dug's classic sprite, but as a Pokemon. I think I should leave Pokemon designing to the pros.

We don't talk about Entropy...

It is a creepy design ngl. Just.. a poorly executed bio is what screwed this character over.

I don't recall if I properly posted her, but this is Barren-Cuda. She's a clone of all the members of the Sushi Pack. But then she rebelled, and becomes a constant rival to the Sushi Pack.

This poor girl was scrapped the moment the webcomic she was referencing died.

Weeeeell this one wasn't a surprise at all!

I also do not recall if I posted this Olive Blood.

Her name is Luxtea Dexent and she fights with a pendulum. And also has a weird fascination with the stars and moons.

I think he was meant for the main Mega Man AU, but was changed to Fully Charged. And like.. never posted?

That's a crime, and I'm changing that today!

This was once Tainted Anna! She never got posted, although she is quite the creepy design. She would've been right at home with the other Tainted Characters, but alas, it was not meant to be.
