❛CONFESSIONS.❜ | alice in borderland characters
genre: FLUFFFLUFFFLUFF <333
warnings: NONE I THINK!!
sypnosis: headcanons of alice in borderland characters confessing to you.
author's note: did i disappear after just one aouad imagine then appear again with an alice in borderland obsession? yes i did. 😁😁😁😁 !not proofread!
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
ryohei arisu
RYOHEI ARISU WOULD BE HEAD OVER HEELS FOR YOU. ONLY YOU.
he's definitely that kind of person to hide his feelings because he's scared of rejection
so that means he's the type to not make the first move at all CONSIDERING HE'S A SHY BB!!!!!!!
BUT BUT BUT HE'LL PROBABLY GROW FED UP OF YOU NOT GETTING THE HINT OF HIS UNDYING LOVE FOR YOU
SO IT WOULD LEAD TO HIM FINALLY CONFESSING AAAAAAAAAAA
arisu would probably be anxious the whole time 😭😭😭😭 like shaking, sweaty palms, stuttering, uncontrollable laughter, etc
HE WOULD PROBABLY CONFESS AT A PICNIC OR SOMETHING SIMILAR <333
he would try his best to cook all of your favorite foods even though he sucks at cooking💪💪
he would buy a bouquet of your favorite flowers!!!!!!!!
OH AND HE WOULD ALSO WRITE A LETTER WHERE HE PUTS 100 FUCKING REASONS WHY HE LOVES YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
he's the type to prepare cue cards because he know he would fumble while he confesses
LIKE HE PROBABLY PREPARED A WHOLE ASS SPEECH BUT THERE WOULD BE A MOMENT WHEN HE JUST STARES AT YOU AND REALIZE HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU WHICH KIND OF LEADS HIM TO JUST SAYING A SIMPLE "i love you"
yuzuha usagi
YUZUHA USAGI WOULD ONLY HAVE YOU AS HER WEAKNESS.
she's someone who has always been fearless, bold, and etc🙀🙀🙀 SO WHEN SHE STARTS TO HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU, OFC SHE FEELS CONFLICTED OR CONFUSED
probably because she's strong and you making her flustered meant her downfall😁😁
she wasn't complaining though
USAGI WOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO CONTEMPLATE HER FEELINGS FOR YOU THO
if she liked you, then she liked you :)))
AND SHE WOULDN'T BE SCARED OF CONFESSING AT ALL BUT SHE WOULD STILL HAVE HER DOUBTS
doubts that chased her every time she went for a run or climbed a mountain‼️‼️‼️
SHE WOULD PROBABLY BRING YOU TO HER FAVORITE MOUNTAIN BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP
AND SHE WOULD INVITE YOU TO SIT ON THE GROUND AS THE SUN CRACKS LIKE AN EGG YOLK IN THE SKY
she won't even realize that you have already lied your head against her shoulder
AND THAT'S WHAT TRIGGERS HER TO SAY SHE HAS FEELINGS FOR YOU
shuntaro chishiya
chishiya is chishiya. self explanatory. <3
HE WOULD BE IN DENIAL FOR THE LONGEST TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
he will not want to accept the fact that he fell for someone since he has the master manipulator factors and all💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
but you were an exception ;)))
he would practically go from being a logical person to a carefree one for you LIKE HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THINGS WHEN HE'S WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU MAKE HIM FORGET THINGS WORTH WORRYING (and as much as he hates to admit you make him happy)
he would act cold, tease you 25/8 just to cover up the fact he has feelings for you
HE WOULD PROBABLY CONFESS BY HIDING ENVELOPES THAT HELD RIDDLES OR CLUES FOR YOU TO FIND
AND THOSE ENVELOPES WOULD LEAD YOU TO WHERE YOU FIRST MET
he knew you were clever enough to solve them :)
he would stand there waiting while he was wearing a suit that made him itch (BUT HE WOULD REMEMBER THE TIME YOU SAID MEN IN SUITS WERE ATTRACTIVE)
he would also have shampooed and conditioned hair for effort🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥
AND A SIMPLE "i may or may not have feelings for you" WOULD HAVE SUFFICED AS HIS CONFESSION
hikari kuina
YOU WOULD BE HIKARI KUINA'S SOFT SPOT.
she would be too scared to be rejected by you because she didn't want to ruin your friendship
but she would still be confident on confessing #kuinathingzzzzzz
PROBABLY BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO PROVE SHE WAS BRAVE-
SHE WOULD CONFESS BY CHALLENGING YOU
LIKE SHE WOULD INVITE YOU TO FIGHT HER FOR 5 ROUNDS BECAUSE SHE TOLD YOU SHE HAD A SECRET THAT YOU COULD ONLY FOUND OUT IF U WON AGAINST HER.
spoiler: she loses to you on purpose because she knows how much you hate losing😍😍😍😍
SHE LOVED WINNING BUT SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU TO HAVE A SMILE ON YOUR FACE
her being the reason for a smile on your face made her weak🙏🙏🙏🙏
she would also give u a prize for winning <333
EITHER A RING, A NECKLACE, OR A BRACELET
AND SHE WAS THE ONE TO MAKE THEM BY HAND WITH BEADS
although it frustrsted her, she knew it would make you smile
"i love you . . . like so much."
suguru niragi
admit it. suguru nigari will not catch feelings for anyone at all.
unless it's you ofc😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏
BUT HE HATED THE FEELING
HE HATED HOW MUCH HE GREW FOND OF YOU
HE HATED HOW YOU MADE HIM BLUSH, FEEL BUTTERFLIES FLUTTERING IN HIS STOMACH, GROW A SMIRK INTO A SMILE, AND MORE.
he would also be confused about his feelings since he's niragi😆😆😆😆
LET'S BE HONEST BECAUSE THIS MAN IS STUBBORN ASF AND WILL NOT CONFESS AT ALL.
he would probably drop big ass hints to wait for you to confess
BUT YOU WOULDN'T GET ANYTHING WHICH CAUSES HIM TO BE ANNOYED
AND SOON ENOUGH
"fuck it, i like you, dumbass."

the doris™ nsfw dialogue
Dori Sakurada + Characters: NSFW Dialogue Prompts
masterlist | more dori | inbox | shout out to @kaylenn the only mf i’m probably writing this for | nsfw below | prompts taken/inspired by this post
Daichi Shinozaki
Tumblr media
“Come one more time for me, I know you’ve got it in you.”
Daichi curled his two fingers up, touching the highest point of your pleasure. Your hips were writhing under Daichi’s gentle hold, keeping you pinned against the soft futon. The darkness surrounded you in his little university apartment. The sleepover started all because he thought it was too late for you to walk yourself home. He insisted you stay over, and now you know why.
Daichi didn’t seem like the type, but he was summoning orgasms from you with such skill. Your clit ached, and your walls were desperately closing down on his lean fingers.
Hiroto Fukami
Tumblr media
photo cred @cloverblossoms on twitter
The tip of his cock nudged against the dripping opening of your cunt.  “Look how good you take it.” You shut your eyes, tight, trying to keep quiet as he slowly sheathed the whole length of his dick inside of you. Hiroto released a quiet groan, letting his own eyes fall closed as he savored the feeling of your warmth.
Mugi Awaya
Tumblr media
“What makes you think I’m going to fuck you?”
Mugi hardly looked up from his phone as you shyly sat on the edge of his bed.
“Isn’t that the whole reason we’re together?” you tried to demand while sounding fierce; but your voice only came out in a meek stutter. “Sex?” Mugi asked, sounding amused. “I thought it was because you loved me.”
“You’re not funny,” you snapped. “Mugi, I’m horny. You said we’d take care of one another’s ‘needs.’ It’s not like your freaking music teacher will do it for you.”
Mugi rolled his eyes. He tossed his phone aside. “You’re such a needy girl,” he sighed. “Alright, so tell me.”
“Tell you what?” you asked, feeling scornful. You crossed your arms and looked away from him as he crawled towards you.
“What you want, how you want it,” Mugi explained as he brushed a cold finger against your neck. “I’m not a mind reader. So be a good girl and tell me how you want it.”
Nigari Suguru
Tumblr media
photo cred @dvskurada on twitter
“Be a good girl for your daddy,” Niagri cooed, pressing his hand firmly on the back of your head. “You can take it all, can’t you?”
You gagged around Nigari’s cock, tears dripping down your face.
This was his idea of rewarding you for saving his life that night during the game. But nothing quite came for free, not even his little life saver.
“Suck it just a little more. Daddy will fuck you so good, okay?”
Dori Sakurada
Tumblr media
“Suck on my fingers,” Dori cooed as he slipped his forefinger between your lips. You swirled your tongue around the digit, tears bubbling in your eyes as he continued to slowly grind his hips against yours. His cock reached deep inside of you, making stars dance before your eyes.

Risk It All (1) - Tokyo Is Broken.
Tumblr media
Genre: Chishiya X reader, Angst, Fluff.
Warning: Death, Violence, Guns.
A/N: Please interact it means a lot especially when writers take hours planning and developing story lines . I won’t be going 100% on how it happened in the show or the manga such as the changes to the game of tag they will not be huge changes at all but I will be including all of the characters and their personalities will remain the same. Let me know some ideas you’d like to see and maybe I’ll put it in the story! There may at some point be smut but not for a long time and I will post warnings beforehand. 🥹🫶🏼THANKYOU 🫶🏼🥹
Masterlist | Ch. 2
Tumblr media
Everything was silent which was strange considering your apartment was next to Shibuya crossing. You peered out of the open window seeing nothing but a dark city. You've never seen Tokyo this dark or quiet it carried an eerie feeling but you brushed it off after all there had been a storm a few hours earlier and it wasn't unusual for the streets to be bare.
You grabbed a black zip-up jacket with a hood, an umbrella and a flashlight.  You exited your apartment and took the stairs, if the power is off the elevators won't work. As you opened the door to the stairwell you noticed that no one else had taken them which left you questioning your earlier thought about the power. Maybe it wasn't affecting anyone else?
You switch the flashlight on and At a quickened pace you take the steps. When you finally reach the bottom you step outside, the door to the stairwell had been removed a few weeks earlier for a renovation. You weren't the type to complain about small things such as that after all, it didn't impact your life in any way. However, at this moment you wished that door would be there to stop you from facing what is right in front of you.
The streets were bare, the wind blowing but no rain. You take a glance at the umbrella in your hand.
Stupid.
The power cuts and I choose an umbrella? You sigh placing it down on the stairs behind you along with the flashlight before venturing further out into the street, you reach the crossing and see a flash of light in the sky, it's the only light you've seen so far and although every hair on your body raised and your feet told you to run, you walked towards it.
You take note of everything around you as you always had done, your friends would always complain and tell you that you thought too hard but it never hurts to be prepared. You begin to panic internally when you pass a few streets and still no one. As of right now, the light in the sky is the only hope you hold and it's a hope you cling to.
As you approach the building you see the lights are on, the only lights in Tokyo. You rush inside the building against your better judgement to be met with 7 people you've never seen before but at this moment you've never been happy to see a person. Even if you didn't know them.
You pick up one of the phones from the table in front of you hoping it has some use, the screen illuminates and it isn't anything as you'd hoped. The small screen scans your face before a cheerful voice declares that you have been verified.
You turn to the other individuals in the room focusing on the two boys huddled together.
"What is this?" your voice breaks as you fake confidence.
The two boys turn to you and you wait patiently hoping for some kind of response. The boy in the orange shirt doesn't seem happy when his friend replies. "It's a game, you have to clear the mission and stay alive" he pauses before continuing "I'm Arisu, this is Karube."
He gestures to his friend and you smile sheepishly, your mind fills with questions, however, before you can ask another the same cheery voice makes it clear that the Registration period had closed. The phone flashes and you read it over, confused by every word.
Game: Tag
Difficulty: 5 of spades
Rule: Run away from the tagger
Clear condition: find the safe zone hidden within the building within the time limit.
Time limit: 20 minutes
After 20 min the bomb inside the building will detonate.
You follow Arisu to the elevator and decide to make use of the few moments you'll have to gather information.
"What is this place, where is everyone, what's this game?"
There is a slight chuckle behind you and you turn to face the boy behind you, he was wearing a white jacket similar to yours. His hair was light blonde and he was short and slender, you couldn't see his face well and he seemed to have been in his own world.
As interesting as he may have seemed you knew you didn't have time to think about him as Arisu had begun to answer your questions.
"It's Tokyo, there are some people here but not many. We have to play games to survive you'll get a visa if you win which means you don't have to play for a few days but if you die then you're gone. We have to hide and don't get caught by the tagger. We have to find a safe zone. When you find it gets to it as fast as you can"
You had answers yet you still felt as confused as the moment you got here. The elevator door opens and Arisu looks back at you.
"Stay alive" he turns his head and runs up the stairs with his friend following behind him.
You know you need to do the same, you take the stairs to the top floor, it's either a really smart decision or a really stupid one. It could be where the taggers will start but if they start on the ground floor it would take them much longer to get to you.
You watch as the next 5 minutes are filled with bloodshed. You weren't surprised at the sight of a dead body but you couldn't help but wince every time you hear a gunshot. However, you were surprised when people started shouting about their location, they were working together.
Working so we can all live, at least those of us that are still alive.
Just a few feet away the blonde-haired boy who laughed in the elevator stood casually watching the game, although it was nothing more than a movie.
You begin to wonder how someone can become so calm, how long has he been here? How long will I be here? You took a breath and headed towards him, you couldn't worry about what will happen, you had to survive now. Besides, he was so calm, he had to know something.
"You're not participating" you speak so quietly you can barely make it out.
You were too afraid to make a sound, too afraid to get caught.
"I'm watching" he replies in a voice that is all too cheery, similar to that of the voice from the phone.
Nothing and no one should be laughing in a place like this.
You glance over at a girl jumping from level to level as if it was a normal ability for every human, you'd hope everyone here would survive but the reality wasn't as kind. Although death wasn't something you were afraid to witness it wasn't something you wished for others or yourself.
You sigh and walk away to your previous position, he wasn't going to talk, at least not here. Truth-seeking would have to wait, instead, you begin to look for the safe zone, everyone else was risking their lives to hide from the tagger, and you would make sure you would win the game for whoever was left.
You noticed a door with no bullet holes yet the wall around it had been shot to death, you recall the tagger shooting at two girls earlier but why would he shoot so far unless he didn't want to kill them but wanted to get them away from the door...
You know what this meant. You know where the safe zone was but why was it so easy and why is there no one guarding it?
Six minutes remaining
The phone chimed and you decided you had waited long enough. You took a breath and began running. You took the stairs down being cautious around every corner ready to run Incase a tagger is lurking around. You safely got to the door and hesitantly tried the handle. It opened and you paused before going in.
"You figured it out too" a voice behind you made you jump.
You turned around to be faced with the blonde man once again, his face remaining straight with no emotion. He lets out a slight smirk as you nod.
"Go ahead then" he signals for you to walk through the door.
You take a breath and walk inside. The room is black and you can't see anything, the blonde boy holds a device in his hand but you can't figure it out and be in a small room with a stranger fills you with a sense of immense fear.
Suddenly shots fly around the room and the blonde boy runs outside closing the door and leaving you with the tagger. Asshole.
You duck quickly and run behind the tagger as he reloads, you hit the gun out of his hand and suddenly the door opens the blonde boy presses a button on his small device, a taste, before throwing it to you. Once you catch it he closes the door again.
You don't even think before shoving it into the tagger's chest and tasing him.
You finally breathe after the tagger falls to the floor, you compose yourself and look around the room, you walk towards the door behind the tagger's body. You open it and at first, you are blinded by the light but you quickly adjust. It is an empty room except for two buttons on the wall and for the first time in your life, you need someone else to help you.
You rush back outside to find the blonde boy hoping he had waiters, you're surprised when you realise he had not
"To clear the game I need help it has to be two people" You scream to alert the other players hoping that someone would come.
After a few minutes, Arisu and the climber girl run around the corner, you prepare yourself to run in case there is a tagger behind them, however, no one follows them.
"Where is it?" the climber girl asks out of breath.
"It's inside the room, there's a door. Two of us need to press the buttons to clear the game" you explain quickly.
Arisu takes a deep breath before sighing "I'll do I-"
Before Arisu could finish his sentence the tagger who was moments ago passed out had begun shooting from his position on the floor, you don't hesitate to hide.
You wait patiently and silently behind the wall.
10 seconds remaining
You panic and rush towards the room you had nearly died in seconds earlier only to hear another chime from the phone in your pocket. The screen illuminates your face.
The game cleared, congratulations you've earned a visa!
Visa: 5 days
Arisu, the climber girl and the blonde boy walk out of the room the game had been cleared in and In a quick breath, you thank them.
Arisu nods and the blind boy scoffs, the climber girl smiles slightly and you think for a moment about how different it would have been to meet them at home.
Real home.
You follow them to the exit of the building and despite all of your unanswered questions and fears about this world, you decide the only place you can go to is the apartment you had called home for the past 3 years. You start to walk in the direction you came from hours earlier but you're stopped when a hand touches your shoulder, you turn around warily only to be met with the smug face of the victorious blonde.
"You're not entirely worthless, I'm chishiya" his face remains still and his eyes remain cold.
You mumble your name back at him and after a minute he makes another comment.
"You weren't as stupid as everyone else. You used your brain. Maybe you'll be useful. You should come with me" He stated, seeming uninterested in his own words.
You stood silent for a moment debating your choices. You weren't sure where he was going but it had to be better than being alone. Maybe he knows the answers,  maybe he can bring everyone back.
You pause before nodding "Okay, but first I have to get some stuff."
He nods "Lead the way."

Life at the Beach didn't seem too difficult for you. Your routine was pretty basic: you woke up, went to hang around the pool and came back to your room to sleep. Sometimes you were selected to go on games— other times you had to — but luck always walked next to you
But when he was close, everything seemed to go wrong.
Nigari wasn't someone that you actually clicked with. He was simply too crazy for you, his behavior was unstable. He behaved like a bomb that could explode at any time and destroy everyone around him.
That's why you simply hated to be on the same team as the man. Hatter was insane— he technically was — if he thought that sending you two on a game together was a good idea. But here you were, sitting next to him in a car, driving to the closest venue. You rather go on a game with the Cheshire, even if the blond gave you strange vibes, he was much better than Suguru.
When the small group you were in arrived at the game, you instantly sighed. Niragi quickly jumped out of the car, resting his rifle on his shoulder. You observed that his finger was dangerously close to the trigger and, from how Suguru was behaving, he was ready to shoot everyone that wasn't from the Beach.
You got out of the car and followed him and the others. It was cold, a breeze passed by and left goosebumps on your skin. Even with the big coat wrapped around your body, you felt the cool environment reaching your bones.
A loud fight started to erupt right in front of the instructions screen. You quickly stopped and watched it from afar, the two men were fighting about something on the table— handcuffs?
— Huh? What the fuck is this bullshit about handcuffing yourself to someone else?! – Nigari exclaimed and kicked one of the men that was now on the ground. — Do ya know anything about it?
— N-No, I don't know!
Your feet quickly moved and before you could see it, you were pulling on Suguru's sleeve. A soft "leave him alone please" left your lips. He turned his head around and his piercing eyes looked on yours. For a second, you thought you saw his face relaxing and softening, but his normal angry and condescending features quickly came back and he shrugged his shirt away from you, murmuring a "bitch" before walking away.
The screen behind you started to explain the game, but you couldn't care less about it. All you wanted to do was get over with it and come back to your room.
That until you heard the conditions for it to start.
— So we really have to handcuff yourselves to someone else? – You heard a girl murmur to her friend next to you.
Quickly, the people started to partner up, the clicks of the handcuffs and murmurs of people talking filling up the quiet night. You started to panic. Everyone around you had a partner already, even the new players managed to find someone. Come on, come on.
You reached out to grab a handcuff from the table, but a hand stopped you. Before you could pull away or even complain, one of the ends of that metallic restraint wrapped around your wrist, that specific click reverberated inside your ears.
Your head snapped up and you gasped, furrowing your eyebrows in a almost painful way.
— You? – Nigari could just laugh at your tone. — Why you did that? I was going to look for a partner! I don't want to do this shit with you–
Before you could keep on complaining and yelling, he pushed you against the wall. Some heads turned to both of you, but they quickly looked away – it seems like Nigari had already frightened some people.
— Look, everyone have partners, you would just be left out. Get your head out of your ass and deal with it, princess. – You almost could see venom dripping from his mouth and it made a shiver go down your spine.
You tried to push him away from you, but he barely moved a inch. His deep eyes looked at your lips, his tongue darted out to lick at his own, the tip of his piercing shining a little and catching your attention. He started to bend down, his lips getting closer... and closer... and closer–
The loud sound of metal doors unlocking made him back off from you. A surprised gasp left your lips as he harshly pulled you to enter one of them, dragging you away from the rest of the players.
He barely left you time to think. He turned a corner, walking to the corridor on the right. Then left and forward. You quickly noticed it was some sort of labyrinth, built specially to confuse and angry the duos.
— Do you know where you're going? This is a labyrinth, dumbass! – You screamed at him, trying your best to make him stop so both of you could think of a plan.
— Shut the fuck up, I know what I am– Fuck!
Before he could finish his sentence, a axe swinged from a opening that came out of nowhere and he jumped back. His body clashed on yours and you groaned, holding on his shirt so you wouldn't fall.
— See? You don't know what you're doing. – After you recovered your balance, you murmured and patted his shoulder. — Let me do my thing.
You started to guide both of you through the halls. Every time that you got a right turn and took you two even closer to a possible exit, Suguru growled more and more. You could easily mistake him for an angry animal that you insisted on taking as a pet.
It didn’t take long for you two to find an exit. It was a white door with a “Victory” written in red paint over it. You wanted to believe it was right, but– It couldn’t be that easy. You stopped in your tracks while Nigari kept on walking. He started pulling you to the door, the handcuff slowly cutting the skin on your wrist.
— Nigari! Stop! – You yelled, but he only growled and kept on pulling you. — What if it’s a trap?!
He stopped. You crashed against his back and looked at him with confused eyes. He slowly turned to you, a wicked grin appearing on his lips. He got closer to your face and, in a crazy tone that made shivers go down your spine, murmured:
— Well, you will soon see if it’s a trap or nah.
Before you could even react, he pulled you forward harshly and opened the door, throwing you inside the room without a care or kindness. You fell on your knees and closed your eyes tightly. You were expecting to get shot, a eletric shock, the laser to come down and kill you. You were expecting pain.
You slowly opened your eyes. The only pain that you could feel was on your hands and your back from the harsh fall. Niragi clicked with his tongue and walked inside the room too, pulling you up so you could stand again.
— What a shame. – He murmured, his voice disappointed but with a different tone underneath it that you couldn't recognize. — I was hoping to see your head exploding or something.
Your mouth feel open and your eyebrows furrowed. He couldn't really mean that. You said that out loud and he simply chuckled, looking at you with a condescending and mean stare.
— You're a demon! – With your comment, his eyes turned dark, as if he was pleased to hear that coming from your mouth. He started to get closer and you stepped back, your other hand raising, as if that could stop him. — Stay the fuck away from me!
You two stayed in that approach-back off game until you hit a table. You looked next to you and saw a open bag of salt. Without thinking twice, you grabbed a handful of it and threw it right into his face.
— What the fuck?! – He yelled, doing his best to clean his eyes and mouth. — Did you really just throw salt at me? I'm not actually possessed!
You two started to bicker. You yellimg about how crazy he is, while he calls you of every single possible bad name you could think of.
Suddenly, he snapped and took to steps forward. He cupped your cheeks and pulled you against him, his lips kissing yours. You could taste the salt on them, but above everything else, you could feel how hungry he seemed for that kiss. He pulled away and smirked at you.
— Wanna try throwin' salt at me again?

Most Wanted
Pairing: Aguni/Niragi x Gender Neutral Reader
Warnings: swearing, fighting
Tumblr media
Distant sounds of partying greatly contrasted my mood. Splashing of pool water rang out clear along with laughter, the members of the beach determined to show me their blissful ignorance. My hands supported the weight of my head, as I desperately didn’t want to participate in any games tonight. However the image of the crumpled piece of paper with my visa days marked on it burned a hole in my mind. My visa ended tonight and if I didn’t participate in a game, I’d surely die. The slim chances of surviving a game were better than the certain death of an expired visa.
People poured out of The Beach’s doors, a loud mixture of cheering and laughter following them. The alcohol and drugs always did a great job at making them forget that death was very much possible. The last to leave the now empty lobby were the militants, guns tucked in their waistbands and a dangerous aura emitting from them. Everyone at The Beach did their best to avoid them as they were nothing but trouble, however I didn’t care enough about my own safety to not get involved. If it were some deserving idiot getting beaten I’d leave it be, but when it’s some random militant trying to drag Kuina back to their room, I’ll risk it.
Gravel crunched under my feet as I walked away from the militants, knowing the guy that I started a fight with still wanted my head on a platter. The roar of car engines sounded behind me, I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, relieved that the militants hadn’t seen me.
Shock froze me into place as a gunshot echoed through the night air, my eyes scanned my body, reassured to find no bleeding bullet holes in my flesh. “Fuck I missed” A familiar voice swore, I turned on my heel, seeing the guy I had broken the nose of a few days prior. I muttered a quiet ‘shit’ as I whipped back around, getting ready to take off in a sprint.
A hollow thumb was heard as my getaway plan was cut short, my body almost immediately colliding with a figure who had placed himself behind me. My head shot up, meeting the man’s gaze, a prominent scar over one of his eyes. “Oh...hey Aguni…” a nervous smile spread across my face, trying my best to somehow talk myself out of certain death.  Aguni didn’t reply, only raising his stare to behind me, multiple footsteps signalling the approach of the other militants. More gravel scraped together as I turned to face the advancing militants, deciding that having my back to Aguni was slightly better than having my back to an entire group of murders.
“You’re the bastard that broke my nose!” The familiar man spoke, jabbing his gun into my chest with every word. My eyes flickered from face to face, brain racing to figure out an escape. “I told you that you wouldn’t get away with it” A smug smile appeared on his face, it was a special type of smugness, the type you could only achieve if you were a militant.
“Yeah sorry about the whole nose thing, at least you’ll have a cool story to tell?” I spoke, trying to get out of this alive.
“You fucking beat the shit out of me!” He cried, gun pointed at my chest, the anger rose to his face, painting it a harsh red. I knew that I had to do something, and do it quick. My mind drew blanks on a plan, instead only remembering scenes from cheesy action flicks. I guess I had nothing to lose.
Another explosion of sound echoed as the man’s gun went off, I had grabbed the side of the gun as swiftly as I could and moved it to the left a little, successfully having the bullet fire away from me. Adrenaline took over my body as I twisted the man’s wrist, causing the gun to come free of his grip. I seized the opportunity and took it into my hands, now pointing it at the group of militants, who had all drawn their weapons. I stared down a dozen gun barrels, anxiety rising alongside the fiery pit of determination to live. “Clever move, but it seems you forgot something” Niragi said, moving his rifle from pointing at me to resting on his shoulder. My confusion was soon replaced with surprise as a hand seized the gun from me, too quick for me to avoid. I mentally slapped myself, appalled that I had forgotten that the leader of the militants was directly behind me.
“Shit, I forgot you were there. No offense Aguni” I scolded myself, now finding myself trapped in some form of hug, but like a hug with intent to keep me still so I can be killed. Feet collided with shins as I tried my best to break out of this arm prison. The furious man approached me, snapping my head to the side with a sturdy punch. “I’m going to kill you, you smug little bastard” He spat, striking me once more, bringing the metallic taste of blood to my mouth.
“Wait before you kill me I need to confess something” I spoke, hoping the man would allow me to say my last words. The man paused, before signalling for me to just hurry up and say it. “You’ll have to come closer, it’s kind of embarrassing” I admitted, the man coming closer to my face just so he could get it done with “my confession is that this is the closest thing to a hug I’ve ever had before.” The man looked at me confused, not entirely sure how to respond, however a burst of white stars appeared in his vision as I headbutted him as hard as I possibly could. Wrapping my legs around Aguni’s, using my feet to push onto the back of his knees, causing him to tumble slightly. This was enough for me to break free of his hold, taking advantage of everyone’s surprise and running as fast as I could in the other direction. Bullets spat dust and gravel up at me as they hit the ground around me, only barely missing.
“What the fuck just happened” Niragi questioned, his rifle still resting on his shoulder.
“I don’t know” was all Aguni said before ordering everyone into the cars, telling them that they still had arena’s to attend.

RISK IT ALL (5) - Old Wounds
Tumblr media
Genre: Chishiya X reader, Angst, Fluff.
Warning: Death, Violence, Guns.
Ch.04 | Masterlist | Ch.06 (1)
A/N: I will try and get one more chapter out today but with writing and editing it will be difficult, chishiya will face a game soon and it will be major. You do not want to miss the next chapter. Thankyou all for reading and interacting, I’m so glad I finally got to introduce Kuina to the story. Arisu and usagi will be joining the beach soon! I loved writing this chapter. The next one will be so much more drama!!!
Tumblr media
You jumped up from your sweet dreams when you heard a loud knock on your door, you rushed over taking a look out of the peep hole and see Chishiya, you turned around to grab your shoes and slipped them on, the sky was black which meant it must have been night.
You began to think about what he was doing waking you up this early.
You opened the door and he turned to face you pulling his hood down as he did.
“Come with me we need to talk.” He doesn’t say another word but instead begins walking.
You closed the door and followed him through the hallway and up some stairs. He opens two doors that appear at the top of the stairs and you rush to get out before it closes again.
“Chishiya what the hell it’s cold, what are we doing up here, don’t tell me you’ve come to throw me off. I saved your life you know” you shout in a hushed voice.
You look around the roof he has led you to, you can see so far, the stars in the sky remain bright as does the lights in the pool. It’s empty and no one is around except for you and Chishiya.
He lets out a slight chuckle as he sits on the edge of the room. You walk over to him and sit beside him, you don’t bother getting to close to the edge.
“You’re scared of the height?“ He chuckles as you push him lightly.
“Not funny.” You mumble.
Unamused with his half joke you feel the breeze come over you and a slight shiver runs down your spine, you didn’t want to be out here any longer than necessary. “You said we need to talk so speak”.
“You played the diamonds game well, I’m not ashamed to admit you figured out something I couldn’t. I helped you because I need you for my plan to work.” He pulls his hood down and slides his hands into his pocket.
The breeze blows his hair a little and you get a smell of coconut flow around you, this man hates love but uses coconut shampoo? Typical.
“What plan?” You hesitantly ask, not sure if you want the answer or not.
“I plan to get out of here, no matter what. Kuina is with me and I believe you can help.” His eyes wander to yours again and his earlier words echo in your head.
“No, death is nothing to be afraid of. It’s necessary for people to die, it doesn’t bother me who dies or how many people die so I can win. I will chose self preservation every time so do not get in my way. I am here to win. Not to save humanity, compassion, care, love, friendship, none of it is valuable.”
“Are you just going to stare at me?” His comment brings you out of your thoughts and you quickly avert your eyes, you feel your cheeks redden.
“Sorry.” You mumble.
You straighten your back and tuck your hair behind your ear, you notice Chishiya carefully watching you.
“So how do we get out of here?” You whisper, once again afraid you’ll be caught.
“We need all of the cards so we have to steal them, we wait for the right moment and take the cards, the four of diamonds hasnt been won neither had the 10 of hearts or the 7 of hearts. We don’t know about face cards so for now, We need those games clear. We have to play more and we have to win. When it’s the right time you’ll take the cards.” He stands up and wanders to the other side facing the city.
You get up and follow him “Why me? I don’t know where the cards are”
He breathed heavily once again sounding annoyed. “I’ll tell you where they are when I figure it out, Kuina will be the lookout and I’ll able to distract the other executives whilst you get them. All we need is a little time and patience.” That all too familiar smirk grows upon his face and you can’t help but watch him for a moment.
You don’t know what Chishiya expects you to be able to do but if it meant you’d get out of here first then it had the been the plan you went with.
“Okay.” You sigh. The wind blows and once again you feel that shiver.
“You know you really should be more prepared, let’s go inside it’s warmer.” Chishiya muttered walking over to the door.
You rushed inside and followed him to another hotel room, you guessed it must have been his. He opened the door and the lights flicked on, you take a moment to look around the room.
Chishiyas room was clean, cleaner than you’d expect, It didn’t look like anyone slept here or had even been into the room. You watch him as he walks towards the wardrobe, without looking at you he throws you a pair of sweatpants.
“Thank you.” You smile at him.
You both sit in silence for a minuet before Chishiya pulls out a piece of paper from one of the draws at the desk he had sat himself at and walks over to the bed. He sits beside you before laying it out.
“Whats that?” You gesture towards the laid out paper.
“It’s a map. That’s the beach, the underground, the rooms, the information you need. Do you think you can figure this out or is this yet another thing I have to waste time explaining to you?” He turns to face you.
You shake your head no as he starts rambling about safe zones and where the cameras are. After an hour or so you seem to have as good as an understanding of the beach’s layout as the people who built it, it not better.
You didn’t now much about Chishiya but you knew he was smart, maybe too smart.
He stands up from the bed and hides away the piece of paper once again.
“You can leave now.” He sighs and he points to the door.
Awkwardly you get up to leave before you hear him clear his throat, you turn around and look at him.
“The… sweatpants?” He mumbles and you understand what he means, you remove them and hand them over to him.
Just as you’re about to walk out the door you turn to him once again. “Thank you.” You whisper and he nods his head.
The walk back to your room wasn’t far but it seemed to take you forever to finally reach your door, you rushed inside and collapsed on your bed once again drifting off into that sweet place of innocent happiness.
When you wake up you’re blinded by the sun shining through your window, you check the clock beside you and see it’s near 1pm. You decide to take a walk to the pool and relax for a while, on your way down there you bump into Kuina.
Kuina stops in front of you, you decide to hear what she has to say. “Thankyou for clearing the game. I’m happy I didn’t die because of you.” She laughs lightly.
You smile back at her “You’re welcome, I think?”
She nods her head slightly “Are you going to the pool?”
“Yes, I thought I’d at least relax for the time I can before I’m inevitably thrown into another amazing game.” You always hated sarcasm but you thought it fit the mood.
“Can I come with you?” She asks raising her eyebrows.
You nod your head in agreement and you both begin walking towards the pool, it was pretty busy during this time of day but you both loved the water.
After spending an hour at the pool you had grown to like Kuina so you both decided to get some lunch together.
You walk into the restaurant area of the hotel and wait for a few people to leave before getting some food and sitting at an open table.
You keep the conversation going “So what did you do before you came here? What was your life like?”
She smiled at you putting down her glass of water. “Well my life was different, I cared for my mother, she’s sick and I had so much time away from her. She’s my reason to get out of here. To get to her to be with her she’s the only one who accepted me. I used to work as a clerk it was fun but I wanted more. What about you?”
You pause trying to figure out how to answer the question that she had no problem responding to. “I’m sorry about your mother, I promise I’ll help get you home. Family is important. What about your dad? And for me well it’s not an easy answer. I lived alone, I did ever since I was 17. I had an apartment by Shibuya crossing, maybe I’ll take you there some day if we ever get free. I was a writer, I helped write music, stories, whatever it was I was good at it as long as it involved writing.”
She focused with such an urgency to know all about you, it made you feel special knowing someone cared. No one had bothered to ask you in a long time about yourself. It felt amazing to finally have that attention.
A sadness grew upon Kuinas face as she answered your question. “My dad wasn’t accepting, he wanted me to follow after him, to be a warrior, I wanted to be like my mother, a queen. My father never except me, never accepted who I was, he believed it made me weak. He didn’t realise that I had never felt stronger when I allowed myself to be who I truly am. When I found out my mother was sick I went to her instantly, she welcomed me with love and joy. She was always like that.” Her sadness had grew to a small smile as she asked you more about your life. “What about your family?”
You began focusing more on your plate as you begin to tell the most horrific memory from your life. “My family was complicated, my mother and father divorced when I was young, she moved away for work to another country and my sister and I stayed with my father . My sister was blind and my father seemed to hate that about her, he would never acknowledge her or love her, he’s the reason she isn’t here anymore. He took her away the same way he drove my mother away. The day that happened I was forced to move away. That’s when I because independent. I decide I would never need anyone again, my sister was all I needed and she was gone. Now it’s just me.” You felt a small tear fall down your face and within seconds kuinas arms were wrapped around you neck.
“I’m so sorry” she mumbles and she hugged you.
You rubbed your hands along her arms and she slowly released you from the embrace.
“Thank you” you whispered to her as she walked back to her seat.
The next 10 minuets were silent, you both ate and cleaned up.
“We should go and find Chishiya, I’m supposed to meet him at 4 and we are already a little late.”
“Okay let’s go” you signal for her to walk ahead of you and she does.
Kuina seems to know him a little better so you decide that if anyone will have answers to him it’s her.
“Hey Kuina, can I ask you something?” You mutter.
She looks over at you with a smile ”Sure ask me anything.”
“What’s wrong with Chishiya?”
She looks at you dumbfounded before breaking out in a roaring laughter.
A few seconds pass and catches her breath still laughing she replied “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t laugh but do not tell me you care for Chishiya? There’s a million things wrong with him I just think he’s never been loved or cared for properly. It’s easy to not crave the emotions you’ve never had.” Her tone had turned more serious.
You quickly responded “NO! I don’t have feelings for Chishiya, I just think everyone deserves to be loved. It’s sad that he’s never had that. He thinks it s a weakness to love but I wish I could show him it’s not. Maybe it could help him survive. Love is power.”
She breathes heavily “That’s some deep stuff”.
You both look at each other and continue laughing as you walk into the same room Chishiya had brought you to last night.
He isn’t wearing his jacket but instead a Shirt with a long robe, for some reason this was most surprising to you. Chishiya seemed to love the white jacket he never took off.
Kuina closes the door behind you as Chishiya begins explaining the new information he has gathered. He tells you how hatter will be going to a game within the next 2 weeks, he built his visa up so he has a break from the games. He explains how the best militants will be going with him and that will be a good time to explore.
After another hour discussing past games and what Chishiya thinks the next ones will be he finally finishes his tiring speech. Kuina was the first to leave the room saying she was tired and wanted to do something fun.
Just as you was about to follow behind her back to your room Chishiya stopped you.
“What was funny?” He seemed interested which was weird for Chishiya.
“We was laughing about you” you replied bluntly.
“Me?” He asked confused.
“I asked about you, about your thoughts on feelings” you explained, he once again put the white jacket on as he grabbed his earphones, hanging the robe up.
“Ah yes, feelings.” He instantly sounded disinterested.
“Maybe you’ll learn how important they are, for someone who appears so smart you are so naive.” You make the comment under your breath but it doesn’t stop him hearing it.
He slowly turns around and you instantly know he will have a comeback.
He smirks as he begins talking his voice so full of carelessness. “You know you’re naive if you think love is anything but a foolish feeling. We do not exist to be loved, we do not need love to sustain us. Despite what you believe not everyone cares for it, not everyone craves it. Instead you seem to do both so desperately.”
You stand shocked for a moment at his irritated response. “Whatever, at least I’m not alone. You can win a thousand games Chishiya but you will be alone, you will be unloved, your life will remain meaningless unless you learn to let it have meaning.”
You open the door uninterested in his selfish and careless response.
Anger built up inside of you. You knew how wrong he was and you knew Kuina was right. He had never been loved. You felt so sad for him yet so mad at his remarks. He could feel like that about himself but about you? That wasn’t fair. He didn’t even know you, ultimately it was clear to you that he didn’t want to either.
You finally reached your room and decided to relax for the night, the desk was full of books And you decided to keep your mind focused, you wouldn’t let Chishiyas thoughts ruin your nearly perfect day with Kuina.
After all, it’s not like you actually cared about him.

Most Wanted Pt.4
Pairing: Aguni/Niragi x Gender Neutral Reader
Warnings: Fighting
Tumblr media
Silence and grief fell over the room like a thick blanket, the seriousness of the situation finally settling in. Aguni’s still frame sorrowfully stood at the head of the table, his body consumed with loss. Niragi let out a joyful cheer, throwing his hands up into the air “ding dong the witch is dead” He sang, a sickening glee in his words “so this means that Aguni will be the boss now, yes?”
“As number 2, it is only logical that I become the leader following Hatter’s death” Kuzuryū spoke, almost instantly regretting it as Niragi turned his rifle on him.
“How about democracy? Whoever votes for Aguni to be the leader, raise your hand” Niragi scanned the room, seeing only Takatora’s hand in the air. He chuckled to himself jamming his rifle into Kuzuryū’s chest, demanding that he raise his hand in favour of Aguni.
“This is not democracy” Kuzuryū spat, disgust hanging off of his words.
“Oh but you have the choice to raise your hand don’t you? You get to choose between voting Aguni, or death” Niragi grinned, his tongue flickering out for a moment as if he were a snake smelling the stench of fear. Kuzuryū raised his hand, discomfort clear in his eyes. Takatora pressed his blade against An’s throat, staring her down until she raised her hand as well.
The room was silent besides the gleeful taunting of Niragi, threatening the occupants of the room. I waited until Niragi and Takatora’s attention was focused on the other side of the room before I quietly made my way over to Aguni. His stare didn’t move from Hatter’s dead body as I approached, I placed a hopefully comforting hand on his arm, sensing how much his friend’s death had affected him. “Aguni can you hear me?” I asked, slight worry showing on my face as Aguni didn’t react, my heart beat loud in my chest as I made a stupid move that could very much backfire. I slowly rested my hand on Aguni’s face, turning his head to face me, meeting his gaze. “Aguni are you okay?” I whispered, keeping my voice down so as to not alert Niragi and Takatora to my actions. His eyes dropped from mine, avoiding eye contact at all costs. “Hey, hey, look at me” I softly pleaded as Niragi tormented Arisu in the background. Aguni’s teary eyes lifted from the ground, slowly resuming eye contact with me. All I could do was muster a warm smile before the explosive sound of bullets rang out, causing me to jump slightly. Niragi fired a few more rounds into the roof in celebration as he crowned Aguni the new boss.
The sounds of partying were louder than they had ever been, people were obviously overdoing it in hopes of forgetting the announced death of Hatter, and even worse Aguni becoming leader. I wanted to avoid conflict with those deciding to drown their sorrows in alcohol but couldn’t stand being alone in a time like this. I pushed my way past a familiar crowd of tightly packed people, just wanting to be able to find a place to sit down.
An empty table seemed like a heavenly miracle as I forced my way through the crowd, letting out a sigh as I collapsed onto the seat. My enjoyment was short lived however as a shadow was cast upon my figure, looking up to see three obviously drunk as hell men. “Is there something you need?” I questioned, hoping they’d realise they got the wrong person and just leave me alone.
“Yeah” One of them answered, elbowing one of his friends as if finding way too much amusement in my response.
“And that would be?” I prodded, not in the mood for this at all as one of them sat down next to me, face uncomfortably close to mine.
“You’re sitting at our table” Cold hands made contact with my shoulders as I was pulled out of my seat, one of his friends having had snuck behind me. He hooked his arms around mine, keeping me in place as the ‘leader’ of the group took a swing at my face. “Well this is giving me deja vu” I laughed, spitting the blood in my mouth at the man's face, infuriating him further. The man was about to sock me in the jaw again when a loud gunshot sounded out. The music was paused as the man’s body slumped to the ground, a bloody hole in the back of his skull. The other two men nervously scanned the crowd, trying to figure out who the hell killed their friend. Blood drained from their faces as they saw Niragi with a maliciously gleeful look and Aguni, his demeanour less stoic and more scary, the men contemplated running as they saw them approach but with Niragi’s sharp shot, it wouldn’t matter.
Quiet muttering was all that could be heard, the music having already been stopped, the cheerful party aura now gone. Everyone stood as far back as they possibly could, knowing how Aguni and Niragi were when angry. “Ni-Niragi, Aguni, is there anything we can do for you?” The man to my left stuttered out, voice quivering with the fear of having upset the two most dangerous men at The Beach.
“Don’t touch things that aren’t yours” Niragi licked his lips, neon lights reflecting in his silver tongue piercing.
“Oh sorry we didn’t know” The men released their hold on me, bowing and apologising profusely. Aguni grabbed one by the hair and slammed his fist into their face, a disgusting crunch being heard as the man’s nose broke. Holding the other one by the back of his neck Aguni repeatedly smashed his head into the brick wall neck to the table, leaving trickling blood stains. Niragi turned to the terrified crowd, swinging his firearm around as he made his announcement “from now on, if anyone hurts Y/N, you’ll be punished with death. Have you all got that?” Everyone nodded their heads, eye’s flickering to the battered men and their dead friend.

Most Wanted Pt.2
Pairing: Aguni/Niragi x Gender Neutral Reader
Warnings: Swearing, injuries
Tumblr media
Cool night air burned my lungs as I forced myself to keep running, worried that the militants would trail me with their cars. A white glow reflected on my features, illuminating the area around me with dreadfully cold light. The building read ‘Game Arena’, a foggy cloud of water vapor appearing in the dark as I sighed, knowing I had to renew my visa.
Red lasers taunted me at the entrance of the building, almost smug at the fact that as soon as I entered I could not leave. A daunting chime pinging as I entered, unsure of what game laid ahead of me.
A singular spotlight cast brightness onto a modern looking white table in the middle of the reception room. Cool metal pressed against my skin as I picked up a phone from the table, the familiar ‘one per person’ sign causing my heart to pound. “4 of clubs, sound easy” Someone spoke from behind me, I didn’t recognise the voice so I turned to greet the new person and possibly answer a few questions depending on how much they knew. However my heart dropped upon the sight of a random militant holding the playing card as Niragi, Aguni, and Takatora stood around her. Takatora drew his katana, pressing it dangerously close to my neck, examining me in a weird owl like fashion. “Ah there’s the little runaway, should we finish what we started hm?” Niragi taunted, getting his rifle ready to aim.
“Players, 5. Difficulty, four of clubs. Game, ‘survivors’. Rules, there are a series of dangers and traps designed to be fatal, however you must keep everyone alive, no outside weapons permitted. Time, thirty minutes.” The robotic female voice informed, the words appearing on our phones as well.
“Huh, guess we’ll have to kill you later” Niragi scoffed, placing his firearm onto the white table reluctently.
“So we’re a team with someone who doesn’t have a weapon and we know nothing about, except that they beat Arakan up” The female militant complained, scanning the room for any of those dangers and traps that the robotic voice warned us about.
“What’s your specialty?” Aguni asked, rough voice making me nervous as he was directly addressing me, something that would usually mean death.
“Diamonds are my specialty” I replied, hoping to prove myself useful enough not to be killed after the game.
“Diamonds? I thought it’d be spades with what you did to Arakan” Niragi chuckled, having enjoyed seeing his fellow militant in such a broken state.
“No, I only do that when I need to. Are there any other questions you want to ask?” I responded, a little anxious to have the militants attention on me.
“Do you possess any useful skills? What did you do before the Borderlands? Wh-” Aguni questioned, suddenly getting cut off by an ever annoying Niragi
“What’s your favourite colour? What’s your favourite animal?” Aguni shot Niragi a cold glare, warning him to shut his mouth now or he’ll get punched in the mouth.
“I know edible local flora, I’m good in a fist fight, I was an author before the Borderlands. My favourite colour is green and I like birds” I answered, Niragi nodding his head as if this were some kind of sick job interview, Aguni only stood silent and stoic as per usual.
A burst of gunshots followed by plaster pieces raining down on our heads snapped us out of our interview type conversation, heads whipping around to see a masked figure holding a submachine gun. The frightening doll-like mask tilted to the side, eyeing us up, slowly figuring out how to make their way over to us. “I believe that’s our cue to leave” The female militant advised, cautiously walking down the empty hall.
Muffled footsteps against dirty old carpets was the only sound that filled the corridor, Aguni at the front of the group. A sense of false security had fallen upon the militants as there had been no dangerous incidents thus far, however it only increased my anxiety, concerned that nothing had happened yet. Adrenaline shot through my body as my eyes grew wide, quickly grabbing Aguni by his arm as I yelled for him to stop. His cold eyes fell upon me, waiting for an answer to explain my sudden outburst, I only pointed to the ground a few centimetres in front of his feet, an inconspicuous clear wire stretched across the pathway. He nodded a small thank you, motioning for me to go first this time. “I believe that Y/N should lead the group as they notice the finer details better than me, after all their speciality is diamonds.”
“Either they have good eyesight or it’s because they’re so short” Niragi chuckled, grinning maliciously at my mock offense.
Various traps had left us bruised and bloodied, but luckily still alive. There were three minutes left on the timer and so far it hadn’t been easy to get there. The female militant now required my assistance to walk as she had gotten her foot stuck in a bear trap, Niragi had blood covering his face as he had barely missed being completely crushed by a ceiling of spikes, and Aguni had a few arrow wounds from some form of automated arrow shooter. But we were alive and for now, that was good enough.
Shadow’s moved in my peripheral view, my chest almost immediately filling with dread. Instincts took over as my legs subconsciously moved, I dived towards Niragi, pushing him behind the corner of the wall. A spray of concrete showering our faces as a bullet struck the wall. Takatora’s attention shot towards the masked figure, drawing his katana, crouching down in a battle position. He was about to strike when the female militant and Aguni dragged him behind a wall, knowing that everyone had to live. “Takatora you idiot, did anyone ever tell you not to bring a knife to a gunfight?” She scolded, Aguni shushing her, straining his ears to listen for the masked figure’s footsteps.
Breath caught in my throat as I watched the figure slowly approach the others, I could see Aguni listening for footsteps but the masked figure was careful enough to emit no sound at all. I looked to Niragi, silently asking if he had a plan, he only gave a half-assed shrug in return. Rolling my eyes at his nonchalant behaviour I turned back to the others, knowing that if I didn’t do something soon, they, along with me, will all be dead.
Old floorboards groaned underneath my weight, protesting the swift movement of my legs. The figure was too slow to turn when I lunged at them, colliding my body with their lower back, taking them to the floor with me. I pressed my body onto theirs, barely keeping their thrashing body in place. Sickening crunching of bones was heard as Aguni slammed his boot down onto the figure’s hand, successfully stopping them from putting a bullet in my head as they were about to blindly shoot behind them. The masked figure went limp underneath me as Takatora slammed his blade down into their skull, effectively killing them. “Thanks” I nodded to Aguni, hesitantly accepting Niragi’s offer to help me up.
“You saved me twice, it’s only fair” Aguni spoke, his gruff voice slightly faltering as he clutched one of his arrow wounds. He quickly regained his composure, determined to not let anyone know how badly he was hurt.
“Congratulations, game cleared” The monotone female voice informed us, an unnoticed tension leaving everyone’s body in relief.
