Suffolk sheep! Not planning (for now) on glazing it (...maybe the small ones... minecraft-sheep-like... if I get transparent coloured glazes... but I don't have them for now). Sheep second to last and last are actually almost the same size, but second to last took about four times as long to do (better feet and wool)

I mean the sheep that look like the Lamb are either from Britain or Germany
theres actually a lot of sheep breeds with black skin/faces and light wool outside of that, some examples being the grey troender (from norway), valais blacknose (switzerland), argali sheep (WE asia), (romanov sheep (from russia), and the dorper (from south africa) as well as the ones from the uk! many excellent sheep to choose from....
some of my absolute faves are the manx longhorn (they grow 4-6 horns), argali (biggest sheep in the world, big chunky boys) and racka sheep (look at their funky horns)

suffolk sophian | ram jamian | merino rowanian
suffolk sophian: a sophian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex
merino jamian: a jamian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex
sheep rowanian: a rowanian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex
[pt: suffolk sophian: a sophian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex
merino jamian: a jamian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex
sheep rowanian: a rowanian who prefers cuddles, kisses, etc. over sex. end pt]
sophian, jamian, and rowanian equivalents to bambi lesbian! anon asked for the sophian and rowanian terms and i figured i'd also do jamian. they suggested sheep rowanian, so i used suffolk and merino, two very common types of sheep, for sophian and jamian.

25/09/2023-RSPB Minsmere
Photos taken in this set are of: 1. One of a few Common Sandpipers I relished seeing today, with Green Sandpiper seen well too, some of my greatest ever views of the rustic and cheery Common Sandpiper. 2, 4, 8 and 9. Beautiful views, it really is such a vast, precious and wild mixture of habitats; endless reedbeds, glistening scrape, sea, rich woodland, grassland, views of heath and strong vistas all around. It was so invigorating to be out here so long today to begin the weekdays of my week off, the relaxing that weeks off are all about for me. 3. A Small Copper I really enjoyed seeing at the visitor centre. 5. Some glorious sheep's bit which I was thrilled to find at the coast. 6. Grey Squirrel at the visitor centre at the end. 7. A sumptuous Shelduck, seeing these as well as the key bird for this site Avocet crucial to its founding as the RSPB's first reserve what a key moment in nature conservation when it was founded in (the latter especially) great numbers was really heartfelt and calming today two very important species for my interest being some of the first birds I saw at Titchfield Haven as I was just getting into birdwatching as a kid. 10. One of a few great trees observed today in the sunlight that is turning seasonally yellow.
Also standing out of the so much seen here today was the key moment with the main bird we wanted to try and see here with phenomenal flying views of my first Bittern of the year. It is so sweet and satisfying that this idea paid off to allow us to see this quintessential reedbed, enigmatic and awesome species for another year which I feel so lucky to have. Other highlights were Great White and Little Egret, Marsh Harrier and Little Stint which I was pleased to spot. Common Scoters flying over the sea, finely coloured Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler, Black-tailed Godwits, another Ruff of late and great Snipe views were good to see too. Comma, Emerald Damselfly, Southern and Migrant Hawker and Common Darter were other insect highlights. Other highlights were Cormorant, Common Tern, Stonechat, Blue Tit, Red Deers, Muntjac, amazing Water Vole views at the pond at the end in the evening sun what a year I've had for this mammal, Rabbit, Grass snake possibly the first I've ever seen near the Water Vole, cricket, spider, restharrow, my first ever marsh mallow, red campion and tansy with Cetti’s Warbler heard. Ox tongue, water mint, scarlet pimpernel, stork's-bill, gorse, broom, honeysuckle, bramble flower, hawthorn, plums, chestnuts and a few mushrooms were nice to see too. At the hotel we stayed in last night holly, ivy, rose hips and Common Darter were nice to see especially in the sun as well as wasp. Red-legged Partridge in Norfolk on a hay bale and Buzzards in the air were good birds I saw on the journey yesterday with snails enjoyed at home tonight. A decade on from our two previous visits, I cherished amazing time at Minsmere today with an extraordinary list of things seen combining a bit of everything I love seeing and photographing it seems and with an extraordinary list of sightings for birds and mammals especially with many things I'd not often or ever seen on the same day before. What a marvelous nature reserve.

BONUS: I have named this sheep Prince Philip since it screamed at me to take the photo at day 2 of the Suffolk Show, just like Phillip had said "just take the fucking picture!" to that photographer a few years ago. (01/06/2023)
NOTE: Please DO NOT repost any of my photography works WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! If you would like to showcase my photography then please ask me for permission first and if I grant permission, please CREDIT ME. You also know the drill if I say no/don’t grant the permission, it means NO. It is preferable to use Tumblr’s built in reblogging function on the site at the very least as it will link back to the original.

These sheeps will be in April 4th Etsy update! There will be mostly all white friends and only a couple of the black Suffolk-like sheepies, but I wasn’t sure how I’d like them and I super love them, so will be making more for the future.

Hello everyone needs to look at the sheep I just needle felted onto my gloves
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bodies are just some random white locks I had nearby which were suitably soft and fluffy (the pink sheep was avocado dyed debouillet again). The legs and horns are some black wool I spun bc I couldn't felt them small enough, so I just spun a quick 2 ply and embroidered them on. The faces are also embroidery with the handspun black wool--just some French knots. Was happy to find I still remember how to do them.
The gloves are kinda old and my work gloves so they're not in very good shape, but I'm not ready to make another pair. They started as badly washed Suffolk fleece which I dyed with horse chestnut hulls, carded into rolags, spun into a 2 ply, and knit into gloves using a self drafted pattern.
I'm very happy with the outcome :3

It's no secret that Eddie hates his little mouse's (Carver!Reader) family, they treat her like the black sheep and make her feel less and he can't have that.
Ever since the explosion at dinner that she dropped out of Suffolk, Eddie's been keeping her at his place.
She's calmest there, not as nervous, less nightmares, she's not rocking back and forth as much. She's happier here, in his shitty little trailer versus her McMansion on Loch Nora, her gilded cage.
She buries her face in Eddie's sheets and clothes, it calms her. She does him and Wayne's laundry and it smells like flowers, cooks them meals she learned from her maid Loretta, and from her fancy home economics class at boarding school she learned from the French teacher there.
She never wants to leave but thinks it's all temporary for Eddie. But it couldn't be more further from the truth.
He had her quit her job at the Chanel counter at L.S. Ayres. He stopped dealing to get a job at mechanic shop so he could take care of her, he told her she should focus more on her writing and art she loves, and she's easily stressed so this takes away a lot of it. She ends up spending the day making the trailer spotless and cooking, as well as painting, writing, drawing, and creating things for DnD night. Even sews costumes for everyone.
She's really happy and a lot less stressed.
Eddie was saving for a ring, he was going to marry her he was going to make her a Munson, and a mother.

90% of what i know about counties & geography in britain is derived from knowing about sheep breeds cause so many of them are named after where the place where they were bred, like dorset and suffolk... wensleydale.. dartmoor... lincoln... shropshire... so whenever i see different places named in shows i know of the place but solely via their sheep. don't care about anything else but im a huge fan of your sheep
