I came to you again with a minute of theories abot the trailer.

At the begining, achtung! these are just mine assumptions that based on what I saw and read on the Internet, as well as what I myself noticed in clips and various skiz content.

After all, Han loves Howl, loves anime, Laputa is also from studio gibli. In the sound, in Han's last part, he mentions "Laputa". And he shows us a ticket to the cinema (sort of, if I read it right). Many assumed that these was the same tickets that were in the trailers and clips of past eras, but I do not think so. There were "one-way tickets to the new world", here is another ticket. They refused those tickets because they turned out to be a trap, and skz went their own way.

🐺 Bang Chan... uh, here my theory of connection with the Japanese album sounds dubious and far-fetched. At first, it seemed to me that Chan resembled Sub-Zero (I know that I am not the only one). okay yes thank you - I dearly loved Diana Wynne Jones's Howl's Moving Castle book for so many years. Ff course I don't consider interpretations in a new medium to take away from the original at all, but I really am not a fan of the Ghibli Howl's Moving Castle. So much of the interesting and subtle magic that made the book so good, was totally lost. This being said, I WOULD like to see Ghibli take a crack at the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, because I think it would be charming.

There's a huge subsect of people who are hardcore about that Gibli trash fire who would hunt folks like us down for even breathing a smidge of negativity about it.

They butchered Sophie and twisted what made the book so very special and unique into something that it totally was not. Yeah, sure, I loved how we got to have an animated Calcifer (possibly the only thing I liked about that dung heap) but that's where the buck stopped for me. God, the salt I have been nursing for the last 19 years about Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle could probably rival the Dead Sea.

From what I've heard, Diana Wynne Jones' estate has kiboshed any further adaptations of her books because of what Ghibli did. IDK. I may be wrong. Ask Uncle Neil because he would know best.

In any case, the thought of them trying to downplay the darkness, the neglect that Christopher was party to, what Gwendolen did to her brother for power, or even the manipulation over Tacroy, gives me the willies. I'll be happy to never have a Chrestomanci adaptation just so that I don't have to see a studio butcher the books I've loved for over 20 years now.

In general, I do think I'm not Ghibli's target audience and I'm ok with that haha... They really turned me off any of the works from their studios with Howl's Moving Castle alone, and this is not a flex but I've never sat down properly to watch any of their works even if I know what's what.

No one who did that to Sophie Hatter gets to leave the pile of bad in my books.

After the serialization of Tensai Bakabon, Mr. Akatsuka serialized a manga called "B.C. Adam" that "teases" the Bible. I remember that this work was not very popular, but I think it was rather a work that showed Mr. Akatsuka's own charamporan.

I noticed your love of tragic characters which I definitely get. But I also like to balance out the angst with lightheartedness. Do you enjoy any wholesome animes/mangas?

Hi there,

Yeah, I'm genuinely drawn toward the more dramatic and tragic, for sure. I just like stories that have a lot of substance and character depth. But certainly there's some anime's I love that aren't tragedies. I love "Yuri! on Ice", which is one of my favorites, which definitely is on the more positive side. I watched "Sk8te the Infinity" not too long ago, which was fun too. I also love action anime's like "Vampire Hunter D", "Hellsing" and "Psycho-Pass", "Ninja Scroll" etc... I was really into "Dragon Ball Z" for a long time, haha. I loved "Violet Evergarden", even though that could be classified as a tragedy too, with a happy ending of course. I really like Studio Gibli's stuff, and films like "Weathering with You" and "Your Name". "The Garden of Words" as well. I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding "Rurouni Kenshin", but if you ever want to see one of the best anime films of all time "Trust and Betrayal" is an incredible work of art. Another tragedy, but it's an incredibly beautiful film. In general, I'm definitely more drawn toward dramatic and heavy stories, but there's some more light-hearted stuff I like as well.

Hi… my name is Sea. I prefer They/Them pronouns. I am 22 years old and a Sagittarius. I am passionate about anime and am ashamed to admit that I like almost all genre of anime. I just got into reading manga, I finished Chainsaw man in less than a week. Im now in the middle of Black Clover.

My first exposure to anime was Studio Gibli when I was about 8 or so. I hope to one day be able to analyze and write my opinion on how amazing the Gibli moves are, but I am in no sense educated enough to be a true critic. Since then I’ve watched every anime I could find on Netflix and I’m currently working my way through Hulu. My taste ranges from Card Captor Sakura to One Piece. Some of my favorites are Akame Ga Kill, The Day I Became a God, Fullmetal Alchemist (Brogherhood) One Piece, and Card Captor Sakura!

I’m currently watching Houseki No Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) and I’m obsessed with the lore!! I watched Tokyo Ghoul in 2015 but I haven’t seen the second season, and I saw there is also a new prequel out that I’m interested in reading. So I’m watching that too. I’m watching Fire force, One Piece, and there are plenty others I haven’t completed yet. I used to have a lie of all the anime I watched, but it became obsessively long and I couldn’t keep up with it, so I deleted it…

I play Genshin Impact religiously most of the time. The game play and the lore suck me in like a current. Please talk to me about it! I also like Danganronpa and Persona 5.

I’m not just into anime and manga. I love true crime too. You can catch me watching interrogations any time of the day. I also really enjoy science and biology. I like to learn about everything I can, and I ask a lot of questions. I’m always open and curious too. I’m not single minded I’m willing to change my mind if someone actually can!

I do have social anxiety and it can be hard for me to communicate sometimes. I also have ADHD so my hyper fixations can be intense. I also have a hard time focusing if parts of my brain aren’t being used, so I’m often on YouTube with white noise or music, or even videos on in the background.

I’m really just a weirdo trying to make friends and talk about the stuff I like. I hope we can get along :)

Today I went to church, then got home had dinner and watched, the Wes Anderson short flim with benndict cumberbatch based on the book by Ronald Dahl. The an episode this is us.

Tomorrow I'm off to my breathing appointment at 1:30pm then I'm thinking about watching the new studio gibli flim the boy and the Herron.

Today was pretty meh, Sundays are just funny like that... One of the sister missionaries had like a Nike necklace and I commented on it and she's like oh yeah I'm in sports, and I'm like let me guess basketball and volleyball and she's how'd you know I said when your 5'10 it sounds like that's your whole life and she went on to tell me about how she got a scholarship to college playing sports and she asked if I was sporty and it tried not to laugh and was like yeah no, I use to play hockey she's ice hockey? I'm like nah feild hockey and football I mean "soccer" she was like why don't you know and I'm I've been working lately but today? It's not the season plus I'm a little rusty at sports but maybe...

She also made me think that if it was you, I'd be staring in your eyes and how much I wanted to kiss you, just thinking about tall woman 😂 every single one reminds me of you.

Made me think about depending where I end up what kind of casual sport leagues are around to play games.

Anyway, I'm gonna have to get some sleep soon buts early ish...
