@confirmedgeckos sent us a Druid. Downside is, she is always in wild shape form.
Nugs was a rescue that my wife took in. She is very happy now, when we got her she had no claws left from stuck shed. He got a lot of bugs for these photos.

The "Creepypasta Cinematic Universe" Characters if you will would work uncannily well in a Changeling: the Lost campaign in both themes and overall tone. Cringe, I know, but hear me out.
Slenderman is one of the True Fae. His domain resembles deep, dark woods with a great mansion (albeit a disheveled one, don't judge him) in a clearing basked in eternal twilight. He takes highly vulnerable children and teenagers through the hedge to make them his sons and daughters, hoping they'll stay with him. His hospitality and kindess would be so warm and pleasant weren't it for the fact that he warps all of his victims with his Arcadian might to the point they're near unrecognizable for selfish reasons.
The number of titles Slenderman holds can be identified by the amount of shadowy tentacles that always seem to slip through no matter the for he takes on (his preferred embodiments are Actor and Realm). They are many for he is ancient, wise and thus; powerful.
His "Proxies" are split into the "Frontline" and the "Guard", both meant to aid him in his quest for power over lesser faeries. The Frontline are the warriors made for direct offense, they raid other keepers and their unfortunate Changelings all while generally scouting out the depths of Arcadia. The Guard is the defense, they shield their keeper directly, going on a "cleansing spree" when someone uninvited treads on mansion grounds, on top of that they maintain a more ordinary lifestyle with their captor.
Members of the Frontline:
-BEN (Darkling Seeming, Gravewight/Water-Dweller dual-Kith) may not look like a proficient fighter, and to be honest he really isn't, but he doesn't have to be. BEN is a spy and he ambushes unsuspecting Changelings by either lunging at them from convenient watery depths or by seeping into their domains with his ghost-like forms as if he were no more than a light breeze. BEN has never had a fetch made to replace him and with Slenderman telling him that his family just presumes him dead, he's not developed the desire to escape in any way, though that may change soon.
-Clockwork (Wizened Seeming, Soldier/Chirurgeon dual-Kith) is a jack of all trades; both a quick-witted blade wielder and pinpoint-accurate healer. She's cold and has a crippling obsession with time and counting to the point she removed one of her own eyes to replace it with a clock-face so she can hear every second echoing by within her skull. Lucky for her this affinity for timetelling makes her remember the world outside the hedge in bits and pieces until this nagging feeling of so much wasted time compells her to claw her way back out through the hedge, although she understandibly has no desire to reclaim her family life.
-Ticcy-Toby (Ogre Seeming, Stonebones Kith); dang, that kid sure can grind a gristle and he's not even a Gristlegrinder!! Toby was born without the capability of experiencing physical pain, a trait that Slenderman cranks up to 11 by giving him the ability to actually turn his skin to stone. When all else fails, BEN and Clockwork will just yeet him at the problem. What can I say, it's usually a rock solid plan. He's the second one to abandon Arcadia as he misses Clockwork, wondering where she possibly could've ran off to.
Members of the Guard:
-Jeff (Fairest Seeming, Flowering/Mirrorskin dual-Kith) already had little of his own identity back in the mortal realm. His parents truly adored him in their own twisted, deluded way, they wanted the whole wide world to marvel at his beauty. And so, he became a pageant boy (yes, I'm including my own AU bc I can!) and he had this oh so radiant smile plastered on his face all day, every day. Once Slenderman "saved" the poor kid, Jeff was so burned out he genuinely could no longer smile and he had those tired bags under his eyes. His new "father" wanted him to look happy. Very, very happy and thus he carved him a permanent smile, bleached the blemishes out of his skin and burnt his eyelids off, and no, the permanent flower crowns on his head do not make his scars any less heartwrenching to behold. But there's hope for Jeff. Liu, his younger brother, once promised him he'd find him no matter how hard the search, and that he'd rescue Jeff from anyone and anything. As a fae-touched human, Liu can do what most mortals can't; rescue the loved one he's lost to the True Fae.
-Smile Dog (Beast Seeming, Hunterheart/Antiquarian dual-Kith) is, to put it bluntly, shit outta luck. While all the other Proxies still somewhat resemble the human form in both body and mind, Smile Dog appears completely animal like, save for their offputting human teeth and, atleast for a pet, above average cognitive functions. The other kids know next to nothing about them; no age, no gender, no time of durance, though it is somewhat known that they're one of the first abductee Slenderman has acquired. Smile Dog's job is simple but delicate: watch over the dungeon library of old lore collected by the Fae over millenia.
(Overall, Slenderman always gave me those fairfolk vibes and I simply couldn't let this figment of my sleep-deprived imagination rest)

alright, time to talk about Small, a minotaur i made for 4e d&d and am adapting for a new 5e d&d game. putting this under nonsense so feel free to ignore if you don't care.
in this campaign, we're starting at 4th level.
Small is a minotaur barbarian following the path of the zealot. we rolled for stats, and because my initial rolls were too high (18, 17, 16, 14, 14, 10) we agreed to lower them to something more reasonable (17, 17, 14, 14, 10, 10). minotaurs get +2 to one ability and +1 to a second, or +3 to three abilities. i applied the bonuses such that his scores are as follows: Strength 18, Dexterity 16, Constitution 17, Intelligence 10, Wisdom 14, Charisma 10.
using the rules for average health, he has 45 maximum hit points, and with barbarian unarmored defense, 16 AC (18 with a shield). he has 30 feet movement speed. i chose the Outlander background (I'll go into his written backstory in a bit), which gives him proficiency in Athletics and Survival. from the barbarian skill proficiencies, i picked Intimidation and Perception. i chose the great weapon master feat for 4th level, casting off the ASI. his weapons consist of a greataxe and a maul. he uses the maul for weaker foes, and the axe for anything more substantial.
his intended use in combat is as follows: rage immediately and reckless attack every turn. attacks against him will have advantage, but if everything is dead, nothing can attack him. this means every single one of his attacks will have advantage. he will also use the great weapon master feat ability to take a -5 to hit for a +10 to damage any time it's necessary (read: against anything bigger than wild animals or weak humanoids). he also keeps light hammers if he needs a quick ranged option.
now, for the juicy stuff: backstory.
Small was born to minotaur parents who, for reasons unknown to Small, abandoned him to the river. he was found by stone giants, who took him in, named him Liten (Norwegian for Small. giant = Norwegian) and raised him as a giant. he learned all about the ordning and very early on accepted that he would never be fully accepted into stone giant society. not only was he, well, not a giant, but he had no skill for stonecutting. he made a name for himself through sheer athleticism. despite his size, he was well regarded by his family as a slightly below average athlete. for a young minotaur facing off against giants twice his size, he was extremely happy with his place in society, and he accepted his assignment of guard duty. he also cared for the dreamers, the stone giants who spent too long on the surface and lost themselves. but he always felt he could be more than just a guard, so he met with an elder and said he'd go out on his own. he promised to keep to the giants' ways, and the elder agreed it would be good for him to find his own path in life. he was given a greataxe, designed specifically for him, and set free, where he eventually met up with an adventuring party.
as a person, Small is not very eloquent when speaking Common. he speaks simply and gruffly. when he speaks Giant, his whole demeanor changes and he becomes almost intellectual. he's much more fluent in Giant than in Common, basically, and prefers to use Giant when he can. he keeps his promise to the elder and follows the ordning to the best of his ability: always honing his craft and practicing his athletics. despite his lack of talent, he will occasionally try to learn to cut stone, but inevitably gets frustrated that he's not as good as his old masters, and refuses the tutelage of any he doesn't respect. on the topic of respect; he refuses to fight giants except in self defense. if he is forced to defend himself, he will fight with his full strength - he knows the giant would want nothing less.
he is a devout follower of Skoraeus Stonebones, the stone giants' deity. this devotion gives him zealous power, manifested in his subclass. what Small doesn't quite understand is why this power manifests as brilliant light, and not something like stones or earth. perhaps it's the refraction of light off of gemstones?
he feels a strong necessity to protect the weak. while living with giants, he would respect those few below him in the ordning, and in the greater world, he respects the poor and downtrodden more than the wealthy. he respects artistry and athleticism, which are traits rarely seen in the nobility.
despite his upbringing, he still is a minotaur and has the genetic memory of labyrinths. he prefers labyrinthine patterns, and has a distinct love of bronze as both a decorative and functional metal. he takes good care of his horns and his weapons.
he does not use armor. the only armor he needs are his muscles and his bones. the clothes he wears cover very little; a belt around his waist and one around his body. he has a backpack, but rarely wears it, usually only carrying it. he keeps his arms fully uncovered, but given a chance would wear a pauldron if it were properly ornamented. he wears no helmet or boots, but will wear bronze or leather bracers, preferring bronze. he doesn't use shields, but he could if he needed or wanted to.
i wonder why minotaurs don't have darkvision.

Dnd monsters explained Stone Giant
Stone giants are reclusive quiet and peaceful as long as they are left alone. Their granite gray skin gaunt features and black sunken eyes endow stone giants with a stern countenance. They are private creatures hiding their lives and art away from the world.
Secluded caves are the homes of the stone giants. Cavern networks are their towns rocky tunnels their roads and underground streams their waterways. Isolated mountain ranges are their continents with the vast spans of land between spans as oceans that the stone giants only rarely cross.
In their dark quiet caves stone giants wordlessly chip away at elaborate carvings measuring time in the echoing drip of water into cavern pools. In the deepest chambers of a stone giant settlement far from the chittering of bats or the patrols paced out by the giants cave bear companions are holy places where silence and darkness are complete. Stone takes on its most sacred quality in these cavern cathedrals their buttresses and columns carved with a beauty that shames the legendary stonecraft of the dwarves.
Among stone giants artistry ranks as the greatest virtue. They create intricate murals paint sprawling murals across cavern walls and indulge in a wide variety of other artistic disciplines. They esteem stone carving as the greatest of skills.
Stone giants strive to draw shapes out of raw stone which they believe reveal meaning inspired by their god Skoreaus Stonebones. The giants appoint the tribe's best carvers as their leaders shamans and prophets. The holy hands of such giants become the hands of the god as they work.
Despite their great size and musculature stone giants are lithe and graceful. Skilled rock throwers are granted positions of high rank in the giants ordning testing and demonstrating their ability to hurl and catch enormous boulders. Such giants take the front ranks when a tribe has cause to defends its home or attack its enemies. However even in combat artistry is key. A stone giant hurling a rock performs not just a feat of brute strength but also one of stunning athleticism and poise.
Stone giants view the world outside their underground as a realm of dreams where nothing is entirely true or real. They behave in the surface world the way humanoids might behave in their own dreams making little account for their actions and never fully trusting what they see or hear. A promise made above ground need not be kept. Insults can be made without apology. Killing prey or sentient beings is no cause for guilt in the dreaming world beneath the sky.
Stone giants lacking in athletic grace or artistic skill dwell at the fringes of their society serving as the tribes outlying guardians and far wandering hunters. When trespassers stray too far into the mountain territory of a stone giant clan those guardians greet them with hurled rocks and showers of splintered stone. Survivors of such encounters spread tales of stone giant violence never realizing how little those brutes dwelling in the unreal dreaming world resemble their quiet and artistic kin.

Gearing up for the Road Ahead
Party
Ace-human rouge
Ryai- Elf Spellblade
Konguq- human wizard
Amethyst - Dwarf Fighter
Vodren- Human cleric
Billie- Human Barbarian
Amethyst tries to repair Headtaker by going to Billie's forge. After a very VERY heated exchange, it doesn't go as she planned.
While looking for work, the party hits up the trough. There they meet a group of nomads talking about the goblin wars. They decide to join up with the Nomads to help thier efforts and inform Stonebones about the goblins at the pond they failed to remove.
On the way back to the Inn , Konguq and Amethyst go to meet with Semolina Greenberry to try and arrange passage to Que-Teh. Meanwhile, Ryai, Ace, and Vodren get involved with feud between Billie and Jasper Fireforge over ownership of the forge. Jasper being Flint's brother, has claim to the forge. Billie however has no where else to go if she loses the forge, and claims that Flint never mentioned a brother.
Ryai, feeling for Billie, offers that they go and find Flint's family ring in Darken Wood to try and settle the feud. Mayor Branton Reese offers them a boon if they return with the ring and settle the feud.
In addition, Allon asks that the party finds a another wizards belongings that traveled with Flint. Rastlin, also went into Darken Wood and Allon tasked Konguq, Ace, and Amethyst to get his staff and spellbook back.
Semolina Greenberry also asked that Amethyst retrieve a zombie to bite one of her horses to see if they could make a zombie horse. She offered free rides for doing so.
A compromise is made for the party to pass through Darken Wood first, then make their way to Que-Teh to join the armies. The party makes preparations with Ace leaving his puppy Callum with Porkins, owner of the trough tavern.
Konguq leaves her penguin chick, Agratok, with Allon the wizard. From there the party gets ready to depart

It’s “Tales of the Jedi” week!
Elephant-snouted pirate captain Finhead Stonebone has got to have one of the worst Star Wars names ever. But is it as bad as “Warb Null?” And what about Finhead’s gloppy gunner, C’Borp? (That actually sounds like an alien name I would come up with.) Anyway, all of them are perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.

My Hero Academia 1A students sorted into DnD
If they don’t have a background then they have the scholar background as they’ve all attended the adventuring school Ultra Academy.
So firstly Tsuyu Asui is a half Grung half human sailor shepherd circle druid. She has the Mobile feat. She uses a spear and light armour in battle. She isn’t particularly interested in the gods, but her favourite is Habbakuk, god of animal life and the sea, and she always makes sure to make offerings and prayers to all of the sea gods before making a voyage.
Katsuki Bakugo, he’s a 1/4 orc and human wild magic barbarian.* He has the Crusher and Chef feats. He uses two spiked maces and has minimal armour. His top stats are intelligence and strength, charisma and wisdom are his worst ones. He admires and occasionally prays to Heironeous but doesn’t like to rely or seak help from the gods. He knows common, orcish and sign language for both. His father, Masaru Bakugo, is a College of Glamour bard. His mother, Mitsuki Bakugo, is a College of Glamour bard who specializes in yelling very persuasively and having beautiful clothes.
Mina Ashido is a tiefling with a copper draconic bloodline for her sorcery. Her favourite spell is acid splash. She uses a sling and has no armour only incredible looks. She doesn’t particularly follow any gods but her favourite is Sune. She has the feats Alert and Performer. She’s proficient in both poisoners and herbalism kits.
Koji Koda is a shepherd circle druid firbolg hermit. He has the Animal Handler feature. He doesn’t usually use a weapon but carries a quarter-staff just in case. Follower of the neutral nature god Obad-Hai. His familiar is a rabbit (or an owl sometimes) named Mustard. Summon Nature’s Ally is his favourite spell. He knows Common, Elvish, Giant, Druidic sign language and can also speak common.
Fumikage Tokoyami is a kenku ranger with a black eagle companion named Dark Shadow. He has the Crossbow Expert feat and Shadow Touched. He uses a heavy crossbow and has a ton of knives. He had a phase where he followed Tharizdun, god of eternal darkness before he admitted that he couldn’t follow a chaotic evil, treacherous god. He’s moved on to Kelemvor, the lawful neutral god of the dead (and Milil god of poetry and song). He really likes the Raven Queen too.
Izuku Midoriya is a multi class human Champion fighter and an Oath of Glory paladin. He has the Observant and Charger feats. He uses a sword and shield. His top stats are strength and intelligence, constitution is his dump stat. He has great respect for the gods in particular the demi-god All for One, Heironeous and Torm the god of self sacrifice and courage. He’s a paladin in the service of All for One but externally pretends to serve Heironeous. His father left when he was a baby and his mother is a baker and Divine Soul sorcerer who’s favourite spell is Mage Hand. He’s proficient in the calligrapher’s kit.
Princess Momo Yaoyorozu is a human noble maverick artificer. She has the Skilled and Quick-Smithing features. She uses a quarter-staff. Her family follows the goddess of wealth and trade, Shinare. Their family symbol is the sun - as the sun is often a symbol of creation. So they also have a history with the god of Pelor, who also has the sun as their symbol. There is a sacred tree to Pelor in the family’s gardens. Her family rules from Musutafu the capital of Kara-Tur.
Prince Shoto Todoroki is a half elf half human noble sorcerer from white and red draconic blood lines. He has the feats Mage Slayer and Weapon Master and thus uses a rapier. He’s a prince on the run from his father currently going by the alias Perry (because I nicknamed him Katy Perry because he’s hot and cold... I know I’m hilarious). He doesn’t follow is merely very respectful of the gods.
Denki Kaminari is a human storm sorcerer. High charisma, low intelligence. He has the War Caster and Linguist features. He has a lightning rod like staff. When he’s out of spell slots roll a D4. Even he’s fine, odd and he’s short circuited and his intelligence is down to 1 until he’s had a short rest. If the last spell he casts hits though he does triple damage. He is a follower of the storm god Kord, part of the Greyhawk pantheon.
Yuga Aoyama is a scourge aasimar college of glamour bard who at 10th level will have moonbeam as one of his Magical Secrets spells. He uses prestidigitation CONSTANTLY for sparkles. He uses a dulcimer and a light crossbow. He’s also proficient in the shwam and pan flute. He’s a follower of Sune, goddess of love and beauty. He has the feats Fey Touched and war caster.
The Honourable Tenya Ida has a custom mix of both the backgrounds noble and inheritor. He’s a centaur Open Hand monk. He multi-class’ three levels into Clockwork Soul sorcerer to get haste (he comes from a long line of Clockwork Soul transmutation sorcerers). He has the feats Mobile and Inspiring Leader. He has a short sword and an empty fist for battle. He favours Paladine, god of rulers and guardians. His family is the lord and lady of Neverwinter.
Mashirao Ojiro is a Swiftstride shifter Way of the Open Hand monk. Swiftstride shifters are known for being dexterous, graceful and quick. So they often have features from, when they shift, feline creatures. Ojiro grows a tail when he shifts that’s somewhere between a cat and monkey or a kangaroo, making him particularly agile. He also sometimes has animalistic eyes and teeth when he shifts. He has the Martial Adept and Athlete feats. He just uses his fists to fight. He follows Majere, god of meditation and honor. Dexterity is his top stat, charisma is his worst one.
Ochaco Uraraka is an air genasi, a pinky orange one like a cloud at sunset. She’s a transmutation wizard, with one of the spells in her book being levitation. She has the feats lightly armoured and tavern brawler. She uses her fists in hand to hand usually but she’s got daggers stashed on her too. Her favourite deity is Dol Arrah, goddess of sunlight and honour.
Eijiro Kirishima is an earth genasi (although he dyes his hair and ends up confusingly looking like a fire genasi). He is a Path of the Bear Totem Barbarian warrior. He has brown, earthy skin and eyes like rubies. Also he has the Tough and Durable feats. He likes to use his fists or a great-sword. He’s a somewhat casual follower of the Path of Light - a philosophy of light and self-improvement. He also follows Kord, god of storms, athletics and sport.
Rikido Sato is a goliath path of the berserker barbarian. But instead of a typical rage he eats sugar to help him get into the mind set and make it more powerful. This is from his parents who are both bakers and bards. Their bardic magic comes from the alluring quality of their cooking instead of music or sex appeal. He inherited a bit of this baking magic which is how he can do this. If he spends an action before entering a rage eating something high in sugar he gets to double his rage attack bonus die for the next three rounds. He also has the Tough and Durable feats (maybe chef too). He likes to use his fists or a great-axe. He isn’t overly interested in the gods but his favourite is the neutral god of stone giants and art, Skoraeus Stonebones.
Mezo Shoji is a wild-hunt shifter, which are known for their sharp and insightfulness. The animal that he borrows aspects from is the starfish. Which can have between five to eight arms with an eye on each. He’s a way of the Astral Self monk, with an incredibly high perception. He has the Observant and Alert feats. He’s a hand to hand man. He likes Balinor, god of beasts and the hunt best.
Kyoka Jiro is a human bard from the college of valor. She’s proficient in all instruments. She has the keen mind feat and performer. She has a slingshot too. She likes Branchala, god of music best.
Hanta Sero is a human conjuration Clockwork soul sorcerer. The sticky floor spell is one of his favourite spells, and has the Empathic feat. He uses a whip. He’s not particularly interested in following any deity in particular but has a soft spot for Kord since like half his bros follow him. He’s proficient in herbalism kits. his beanie/wizard hat is his arcane focus.
Toru Hagakure is a changeling arcane rogue. She has the Shadow Touched and skulker features. She has lot of KNIVES! The deity she favors is Leira, chaotic neutral goddess of illusion. Her parents told her that when she was born she was blessed and chosen by Leira with a birthmark of her symbol - a spiral in a triangle - on her left hand. Which is why her changeling abilities are so powerful as to let her go invisible.
Minoru Mineta just doesn’t exist. It sucks that possibly the only character with dwarfism in the show is such a creep but there’s barely anything else in his character to build on so he’s just not there. If he did though he’d be a gnome wizard who favored the sticky floor spell best (like Sero) and long range attacks. He’d respect women and tend to hyper-focus on things he likes. He has a very dirty mind and loves inappropriate jokes but isn’t a dick about it. He’d follow Olidammara, chaotic neutral god of revelry.
* I think that having racial attributes like greater strength in orcs is BS and I’d rather delegate attributes according to culture, or more background details. Which is why Bakugo is part orc. Because I like the head-cannon that many orc tribes value self sufficiency highly and that asking for help should be a special sign of trust and mutual respect. Which resonates a lot with Bakugo’s character. Similarly high elves have a reputation for aloofness and coldness as they view no mistake as insignificant. You never know whether a hundred years down the road it might come back to bight you in the ass. So carefulness is prized by many. But there are cultural subsets and it changes by country. Just a lot less racism and a lot more cultural diversity.
