Malcolm: I don't want to go to a particular class. People think I'm weird enough already.
Lois: I know.
Malcolm: I like where I am. I want to stay.
Lois: Sweetie, life does not give you a lot of chances to move up, even if you deserve it. Look at your dad and me . Malcolm, I'm proud of you. You boys are so lucky. You have so many gifts that other kids don't have. And I don't mean Stevie Kenarban, either. I mean, look at those Parker boys across the street. They may be healthy, but those are the ugliest little boys. They look like boiled beets. And those Henderson kids? That electrocuted their dog when they were trying to get free cable. How smart can they be? Just remember, any kid who makes fun of you is a creepy little loser who'll end up working in a car wash.
Malcolm: This shouldn't make me feel better, but it does.
Lois: You'll be all right, sweetie. If you don't make a big deal out of this, nobody else will either.

Hi, pls have some (mostly post-show) Malcolm in the Middle headcanons for no other reason than this show has completely taken over my life and I love this family so much ❤
Reese is Piama's favourite of Francis' brothers, because she always knows where she stands with him
I don't care what the show says, Malcolm and Stevie were friends with the other Krelboynes all the way through high school and beyond: they even take a little weekend trip together, just the 5 of them, every summer
Whilst a janitor at the school, Reese always sneaks extra ingredients into the food when cleaning the kitchens. When the lunch ladies find him out, they hire him as a cook instead. This somehow gets local press coverage (cos school food has never been that good) and he is able to get a job as a chef in a local restaurant, and is head chef by his early 20s
Dewey then gets a part-time job in the same restaurant playing the piano
Cynthia also goes to Harvard and her and Malcolm become inseparable basically as soon as they rekindle their friendship. She's majoring in pre-med, the icon.
Malcolm tells Lois that Cynthia is his girlfriend so he can date around without Lois constantly grilling him. (Lois knows they're lying but is hoping they'll slip into the usual fake dating trope pattern of actually falling for each other)
On their 10th anniversary, Francis and Piama renew their vows so that the family can actually join them for a wedding ceremony
Reese gets himself his first boyfriend in his early 20s. He didn't actually realise he wasn’t straight until then, but once he does, he feels kinda stupid to have repressed it so long. Francis is the first person Reese comes out to and this is when Reese finds out that Francis is bi.
Lois generally manages to have better relationships with the boys once they leave home, and eventually even apologises to each of them the way she did with Francis
Francis and Piama reconcile with Otto and Gretchen, and often spend holidays at the ranch
Once Malcolm and Reese move out, Dewey is finally given the attention he always wanted, and makes sure that Hal and Lois treat all 3 of the kids at home equally, and take photos of them regularly!
Dewey manages to get into Julliard on a scholarship, continuing to compose, play and conduct. NY life suits him well.
Francis, after a few years at the office, realises that he would rather be helping people with his job, and so becomes a health care assistant at the hospital. He loves working with kids who have got themselves into the same scrapes he always did
He and Piama eventually have two daughters, and give them both Native American names. Piama starts a local gallery of Indigenous art/things tourists think are art
Malcolm and Reese both bought each other Mamma Mia on DVD for Christmas in 2008, as a joke about that time they saw it at the theatre. They both laugh, but it becomes the comfort watch when they miss each other
Hal eventually stops wearing his fave leather baseball jacket, and in his teens Jamie finds it in the back of the cupboard and starts wearing it. (Hal cries when he first sees it, of course)
Reese and Abby remain pen pals, and she is still -other than his boyfriend and his brothers- the best friend he's ever had (he also still visits his pal Judith in the nursing home when the nurses actually let him in)
When Hal retires, he does haircuts for women in the local area for the low price of some juicy gossip
Anyway that's probs enough, but I 100% plan to write fics about some of these (my Reese romance fic is already written in my head, just need to actually get it down)

malcolm in the middle o’s are apparently not a real cereal, the box appears to have been designed to look like a box of cereal but instead of malcolm in the middle o’s inside it had the pilot episode on presumably a dvd or vhs. information online is somewhat limited but i thought it was interesting!

Definitely my favourite episode of Malcolm In The Middle
Dewey’s opera is absolutely brilliant and I’d buy a ticket if it were real
Jamie’s romantic drama with the neighbour baby is the cutest
Stevie being the mystery street luger destroying Reese’s prejudices against disabled people
Lois and Hal being so in love and silly
(Farts..)
I mean, relationship goals right here:

Remember in the first episode of Malcolm in the Middle when Lois makes Malcolm hang out w the black asthmatic boy in a wheelchair from his genius class and Malcolm is like "no I don't wanna do that mom he's just a weirdo freak" but by the end of the episode when they're hanging out they bond over comic books like normal little boys...
And you think it's just gonna be the lesson ending there like "see little white boy, you can learn to bond w people unlike yourself" and you never hear from Stevie again, but then he actually becomes Malcolm's permanent best friend character for all 7 seasons and he AND the rest of his family get to be fully fleshed out and complicated as the main cast of white characters, w full winding story lines within themselves? Remember that?
Wow they really got us.

Reese decided he didn't want to be a bully anymore so he started helping people instead of ya know, beating them up. But then he realized some kids were picking on Stevie so he decided to put them in line 😭 He didn't care that most kids were being picked on until Stevie was. He said "Stevie's off limits".

Mallory and Stevie
Tumblr media
This is the world. 196 million square miles. If I covered a 100 squares miles per hour, every hour for the rest of my life, I’d still only see half of it.
This is the left nostril of my brother Reese. It squeaks all night long.
These are the freezing cold feet of my little brother...Dewey.
This is my elder sister Francis. Right now she’s in Canada with her mom, Susan.
Who ironically is my mom’s little sister.
If you haven’t connected the dots I’ll just say it. It’s weird. Susan was my dad’s first wife. The woman he never really wanted to marry in the first place but was coerced into by his family.
That and mom rejected him the first time. She never even gave him a chance. Mom had some pretty high expectations back then. She wanted to go to Paris after high school. Which she did for a little while with her ex-husband Matt.
Dad promises to take the entire family to Paris someday once we’ve graduated, or her gets a bonus from his job. Much like mom, I also have a dream to go to Paris someday too, maybe even live there. I’ve even started studying French, ballet and other dances, fashion, and the food.
Reese, just like Francis, is also my step-sibling, though he doesn’t feel like it. He’s like one year older than me, and I guess mom and her ex were having problems during the time. Or something… I don’t really know the specifics of what got mom and dad to finally hook despite being married.
It’s a terrible thing for a sister to say but I always felt Francis kind of hated me though she never really made it obvious. She certainly hated my mom. How strange it must be to think of your own aunt as a stepmom.  I honestly don’t blame her too much. I mean I’m kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back. The day my dad cheated on Susan...with her own sister and then got her pregnant.
And then I was born.
My name is Mallory.
You want to know the best thing about childhood is? At some point, it stops.
I was 12 years old when I first met Stevie.
We met at the cafeteria, during lunch. I was alone. I tended to eat alone sometimes, especially when Julie wasn’t around, or when she would rather eat with her other friends. Which was fine because I prefer eating alone anyway.
Stevie rolled over, asked if it was okay to eat here, and I was like okay. It wasn’t like I could say no. Not to him. It would look bad to reject a crippled kid, and besides why would I?
Aside from the fact that he was a Krelboyne… I wonder why he doesn’t just sit with them.
I looked over at where the Krelboynes usually sit during lunch, it was in a table the farthest away from the other kids. What a bunch of snobs.
Maybe they weren’t as nice as they seemed…
Or maybe Stevie didn’t want more freakish attention then he already got being stuck in a wheelchair.
I didn’t want the whole lunch to drag away in silence, I had company after all, it would be awkward, so I blabbed the first thing in my mind.
“Why aren’t you sitting with the other Krelboynes?”
That wasn’t a good place to start…
Stevie looked at me through his spectacles that made his eyes look huge then what they actually are. “You...have...a...problem...with...me...sitting...here?”  he breathed out slowly.
“No. No. I’m just curious. You’re a Krelboyne, aren’t you? They usually keep to themselves.”
All the kids in middle school hated them that’s why.
It was my mom who set up the date with Stevie’s mom, whom she met at the groceries. She informed me this during breakfast, while she was shaving dad’s body hair. They do this every month. He has sensitive skin. The hair gets itchy under his clothes.
“Mallory you come home right from school today. I made a playdate for you with Stevie Kenarban and you have to take a bath.”
“What? Mom, no!” I protested.
“Mallory has a play date!” laughed Reese as I yelled at him to shut up.
“With Stevie “The Wheelie” Kenarban! Oh man!” he cackled more, absolutely ignoring me. He was eating this up.
“Why is playing a problem for you?” asked dad, as he set his foot on the table for mom to shave, the newspaper thankfully back to covering his privates.
“First off, I don’t even know Stevie.”
“I saw his mother at the grocery store. She says you both ate lunch together.” Mom mentions.
“Yeah. One time. He rolled his wheelchair over next to me. It’s not like I could say, ‘Go away’. He’s not even in my class. He’s in the Krelboyne class in the trailer next to tetherball.”
“You listen to me young lady. The one lunch obviously meant a lot to Stevie. He’s a human being with human feelings.” She says, as she tries to get the hair out of dad’s shaver. “Now you’re going to be friends with that crippled boy and you’re going to like it. Understood?”
“Yes, ma’am. Understood.”
If I give up now. I won’t get the lecture.
“You kids..” she starts.
Daang.
In class that day, ironically, I got called in to the office.
It wasn’t turning out to be a good day.
Notes: This is a draft I wrote a while back. I feel like I need to add more and finish but it almost seems finished. This is based on the idea of Lois and Hal marrying late, kind of, and Malcolm is born a girl, her name is Mallory. I totally lost my train of thought or where I was going with this for the draft. I think mostly I was following the dialogue and scenes of MitM pilot which is why I just...stopped.

hi i was wondering if i could request reese wilkerson? 😆 youve been best friends for a long time so youre all going on a vacation together, and you have to share a room…. 😯 Best friends to lovers?
Sleeping In (Reese Wilkerson X Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: The Wilkersons save up enough money to go to the ranch to visit Francis and Piama. Only this time, they let Reese’s best friend tag along.
***
“Why does Y/n get to come with us but not Stevie?” Malcolm complained as he sat next to Dewey in the back seat. Y/n laughed from behind him, sitting in the very back of the van with Reese, the best friend that invited her on their family trip.
“Kitty Kenarban would’ve made you guys pack a whole other car with all the stuff she thinks Stevie needs. I only need a backpack and my mom doesn’t care enough to call every hour.”
“And with the amount of crap you boys get yourselves into, Kitty would kill us.” Lois sighed as she got into the front seat. She turned around to look at the kids. “Y/n knows how to keep you guys in check. Besides, it’s Reese’s turn to invite a friend. Now buckle up! We’re already late!”
“So what’s the ranch like?” Y/n asked Reese as Hal pulled out of the driveway.
“It’s so cool! Last time we went, Dewey rode an ATV up a tree and we set off a huge firework, we were blind and burned for a while.”
“Sounds like something you guys would do,” Y/n smirked at the thought of the boys blindly walking around with sunburns.
“There’s a lot more we can do now that you’re coming with us,” Reese whispered, looking up to see if Lois or Hal could hear him. They couldn’t, which was surprising because he was loud no matter how hard he tried. “When you’re with us, Mom practically lets us get away with murder.”
“Yeah, I think she might like me more than you guys.” Y/n joked.
“She loves you more than all of us combined.”
***
“Hey, guys!” A cheerful voice yelled at the Wilkersons as they pulled up to the front of the ranch. It was Francis, the oldest child. He gave out hugs to both his family members and Y/n before taking some of their luggage. “So, how was the drive down?”
“Oh, it was okay.” Hal smiled. “Can’t wait to go to the pool, maybe ride a horse.”
“Gotta unpack first, Hal.” Lois reminded her husband. “No running off like you always do.”
“Oh, come on, Honey. We came here to have fun, we can unpack later!”
“Well,” Francis cleared his throat, standing in front of a room. “Mom, Dad, this is your room. The only other rooms available each have one bed, so the kids can decide who they wanna room with. It’s two to a room.”
“Malcolm and Dewey, you’re in one room. Reese and Y/n, you’re in the other.” Lois said quickly before barging into her own to drop her luggage. Malcolm and Dewey groaned while Reese and Y/n high-fived, eager to spend more time with each other.
“I can’t believe we scored a room all to ourselves,” Y/n said as she closed the door after Reese walked in with his things.
“I can’t believe Mom’s letting us sleep in a room by ourselves. Thought she would’ve gone crazy if I asked.” Reese commented, sitting down on the bed. It seemed like he just now realized their situation. “Are you cool with sharing a bed?”
“As long as you don't shove your foot in my face like last time.” Y/n laughed, sitting next to the boy. “Ready to have some fun?”
“Hell yeah.”
***
Have fun, they did. The family swam in the pool for a few hours, then dried off and went horseback riding. After, they had lunch and split up to do their own things. Hal and Lois went for a walk. Malcolm and Dewey went exploring around the Grotto. Y/n and Reese went to their room for a nap before dinner.
“I’m so glad we have our own room,” Y/n murmured as she kicked her shoes off. “Think I’d go crazy if we had to bunk with Malcolm and Dewey.” She went under the covers and sighed in relief as she sunk into the mattress.
“Glad you’re glad.” Reese smiled as he jumped onto the bed, jolting Y/n from her half-asleep state. “What time’s dinner?”
“Six.”
“Then I’ll see you at six.” Reese made his way under the covers, laying on his back. Y/n laid on her side.
When the two woke up, they weren’t in the same positions they had fallen asleep in. Both were on their sides facing each other, only an inch or two between them. Neither of them mentioned it, instead making quiet small talk as they gradually became more awake.
“Come on, lovebirds!” A solid knock on the door rang through the room, the voice seeming to be Malcolm’s. “We gotta meet Mom, Dad, Francis, and Piama for dinner!”
“Let’s go.” Y/n sighed, sitting up and stretching her sore muscles. They both turned pink in the cheeks at the title Malcolm had given them, but they said nothing about it. The two slipped their shoes on and walked out. Reese had his hand on the small of her back as he closed the door behind them.
***
“God, that was so good!” Y/n said as she opened the door to her room, Reese following closely behind. “I loved those bread rolls.”
“We should totally take some back with us when we leave,” Reese added.
“Totally.” Y/n grabbed her pajamas and made her way to the bathroom to change. Reese took this as his cue to change as well. When he finished, he realized he was missing something.
“What’cha lookin’ for?” Y/n asked as she walked out of the bathroom. Reese looked at her and it looked like he just became even more confused, a common expression from him.
“Is that my shirt?” Y/n looked down. It was in fact one of Reese’s shirts.
“Do you want me to change?”
“No! No, it’s, uh, it’s fine. I was just wondering.” Y/n nodded slowly before climbing into her side of the bed. He did the same, bringing the covers up to his neck.
“Cold?” Y/n asked.
“No, I’m good.” There was a slight pause before Reese spoke again. “Actually, it’s kinda cold.”
Y/n switched off the light before scooting closer to Reese, throwing an arm around him. He immediately reacted, putting an arm around her shoulders.
“Good night, Reese,” Y/n whispered.
“Night, Y/n,” Reese muttered.
***
“Reese,” Y/n said quietly the next morning. “You gotta wake up. We gotta meet your family for breakfast.”
Y/n wasn’t expecting Reese to hold her tighter. He sighed into her shoulder.
“Five more minutes.” He murmured.
“Reese-”
“Please.” He begged, looking up at her with bleary eyes. He stared for a few seconds before quickly looking at her lips and back, though she didn’t seem to notice. She sighed.
“Fine, but only five.”
“Thank God.” Reese pulled her in tighter, if that was possible, and kissed her cheek. He glanced at her lips again, and this time she noticed. She didn’t seem to mind.
In fact, she leaned down slightly, to return the affection. But Reese beat her to it by giving her a quick kiss.
“You know…” Y/n trailed off, slightly stunned. “We are on vacation. I don’t think they’d mind if we slept in a bit longer.”
“My thoughts exactly, N/n.” Reese pressed another quick kiss to her lips. And then another.
Safe to say, they missed breakfast.
