Brusk, no-nonsense, and with a bit of an ego as it pertains to her line of work and abilities, formerly-human space exploration craft SERA prefers to sit safely in orbit and send down remotely-controlled anthropoid bodies (her favorite being a 7'5 antelope, pictured) for exploration and interpersonal matters. 

Spending a significant portion of her time exploring and cataloguing uncharted space on contract with only holonet dramas and the rare commlink for company doesn't do much for her social skills, and the fact that what would otherwise be leisurely off-time back home is taken up by irritating advisory work brings her no small amount of frustration. She can't help being a highly advanced upload-AI with a breadth of specialized knowledge that people frequently wish to call upon, but it would help immensely if said people stopped touching the hardware with their oily fingers and chewing intoxicant plants and spitting them out around her.

Third character of mine created for Starhopper, SERA, who alongside Gabe represents the transhumanist side of the setting—the latter is in actuality a genetically modified subset of human, as all non-alien ‘furry’ characters in the setting are, while SERA herself is an upload.

Starhopper

Wohoo, you guys don't know how happy I am to be done with her. The colour palette was my main problem.

The Star Seeker frame type and lore is/was made by @dimorphodon-x (Thanks again for fact checking!)

A little bit of info about her is under the cut.

One of the Star Seekers left in storage 

was found by an old femme that brought her online by accident and then took her in

Lived an isolated live with Ma’am (the old femme), who taught her some things she learned from organics

One of the things was sewing

Occasionally, there would be other Cybertronians coming by, but mostly to buy something and then leave

Decided that being a seamstress is more fun than what she was made for and started doing it as a profession

Has a knack for finding shiny things

also collects them

Easily distracted by shiny or interesting things, people, etc.

especially if they are pretty

Still as naive as the day Ma’am found her

Sireously, you could lay out a trail of shiny rocks leading to a big cardboard box propped up with a stick, and she would still fall for it

At one point, Starhopper decides to venture out into the galaxy in the hopes of finding other Star Seekers

Gets distracted halfway through the journey by something shiny and ends up working as a seamstress on a planet for a while, before continuing her journey → Working as a freelancer seamstress becomes her main source of income

Also meets a weird crew of Cybertronians and stays on their ship for a while. (Was almost adopted by the captain, but his minibot friend got in between.)

Calls Ma’am regularly to tell her about her journey

also to show off the collection of shiny things she found or the newest project she’s working on

Does small hops when excited

those you do when you’re balancing on your toes and hitting the ground with your heels

That’s where her name comes from. Ma’am gave it to her, after seeing her interest in stars and the small hops she does 

Some nicknames are: Hop, Magpie, Maggy

Starhopper is a sweet thing through and through. Often helping others before thinking about herself and making sure they are alright, before checking if she herself is okay.

How her journey started:

Ma’am told Starhopper a little bit of how there might be others like her. She never specifically tells Hop where she found her, but she hints that she isn’t the only one with her frame type.

After hearing that, Starhopper decides to pack her things and go on a search for her missing “siblings”. Despite her not knowing where to start looking.

The old femme gives Starhopper a map of the galaxy to help her navigate at least a little bit, but she knows that the chances of her ward finding another one like her are very slim. 

Still, she doesn’t stop Starhopper from going on her journey. 

The only thing she asks for is that her ward calls her every now and then. (Ma’am mostly wants to make sure that Starhopper doesn’t manage to land in a dangerous situation, when she isn’t there to get her out of it.)

If she ever found another Star Seeker, she would probably start hopping excitedly, before rushing over to them for a hug.

Cringetober Day 24 is MLP. I'm sure it means Gen 4, but honestly, bronies completely ruined that for me, and nearly took the whole thing down with it. I've been collecting these since I was 3, so I drew Starhopper, one of my beloveds, in some glittery paint pen.

Well, that's the final nail: all published material for Starhopper Radio is officially inaccurate to Astra Planeta canon. I moved some last things around to make the puzzle pieces fit better and now every place and date mentioned in the four extant episodes of SR (except the Apollo 11 moon landing) are incorrect.

I figured this would happen eventually, which is why I stopped producing episodes. I'll get back to it one day when canon is stable.

Born to an enclave of liir’aalu who, like many, decided to leave their home planet of Avuura and explore the wider universe, Hralia took an interest in engineering (as liir’aalu often do due to their high intelligence and ultrasonic capabilities allowing them to detect and pinpoint mechanical faults), leading to her finding a job as a shuttle technician on the frontier world of Pronova I via nonhuman exchange program. 

Though quick-thinking, resourceful, and unfailingly diligent in her duties, Hralia can be somewhat touchy and high-strung; this is in part because she's something of a self-made outcast among the normally-communal liir’aalu on account of her status as one of the Arava, or "the silenced ones", survivors of an upper-respiratory illness among liir’aalu that does damage to the soft tissue of the flute-like horns that they use for vocalizations. Though treated with utmost care and compassion by their brethren, Arava are often nevertheless looked upon with pity and a sense of 'loss' owing to the damage the disease can do and the perception that it robs them of their voices—something that can be compensated for with prosthesis, in Hralia's case.

The first character I created for the aforementioned shared setting of Starhopper! She represents a slightly different side of things, being one of numerous sophont alien species.

Status of High Republic kids post-Phase I

(SB - Starlight Beacon, SBF - Starlight Beacon's Fall)

I. main Jedi kiddos (plus Zeen, a member of the Padawan squad)

Bell Zettifar – present on SB. survived. spent months on Eiram afterwards helping the relief efforts and searching for Burryaga. learned to fish.

Burryaga Agaburry – present during SBF, presumed dead in its aftermath. actually survived and was stranded in inaccessible part of Eiram’s ocean. eventually found and recovered by Bell. malnourished and with patchy fur.

Farzala Tarabal – helped evacuate younglings off SB. last seen unconscious after confrontation with Nameless, still on SB. presumed dead in the immediate aftermath of SBF. status unknown.

Lula Talisola – helped evacuate younglings off SB, then went after escaped prisoner Krix. last seen still on SB as it is on fire in Eiram’s atmosphere, thinking of Zeen. presumed dead in the immediate aftermath of SBF. status unknown.

Qort – present on SB. successfully evacuated with group of rescued younglings. sole confirmed survivor of the original Starhopper Padawan squad.

Ram Jomaram – on Corellia during SBF. survived battle with Nihil. all in all one of the least traumatized teens in the series despite his home being destroyed by Nihil.

Reath Silas – on Corellia during SBF. survived battle, got knighted and lost his replacement master right after. otherwise fine though.

Vernestra Rwoh – on Eiram during SBF. lost Stellan and, as far as we know, Imri and Avon. traumatized beyond belief. months post-SBF following the Force as a Wayseeker without official approval. now headed to Ibbe to recover.

Zeen Mrala – on Corellia during SBF. survived battle with Nihil. last seen thinking of Lula, determined to find her in the aftermath.

II. non-Jedi heroes

Affie Hollow - present during SBF, evacuated. helped with disaster relief on Eiram for a month afterwards. started work on rebuilding the Guild. has been seventeen for several years now.

Avon Starros - apparently presumed dead by Vernestra months after SBF. had very correct suspicions about her mom's Nihil connections the last time we saw her. status unknown.

Crash and Svi’no – maybe I’d know if Lucasfilm weren’t releasing stories exclusively in print in one region only. survived battle on Corellia and got together so yay?

Honesty Weft - ehh he's probably fine? no real reason to believe otherwise. including him for completeness tbh

Jordanna Sparkburn and Sylvestri Yarrow – probably fine since we have no reason to think they were anywhere near SB or Corellia. might have to deal with Sylvestri's mother’s horrible death by Elzar during SBF. also got together so yay. also also if we can't have art of them together why don't the backgrounds of their concept art at least match up cleanly

III. minor Jedi characters

Amadeo Azzazzo – somehow matrix dodged all the death flags. don’t know if we’ll see him again but I’m proud of him and wish there was art of him.

Bibs and Rardal – present on SB. last seen squaring off against the Nameless. strongly implied to be dead.

Gabino and Kaimo – they better be okay!! a group of younglings were successfully evacuated off SB, though we didn’t see these 2 specifically.

Imri Cantaros – apparently was present on SB. presumed dead by Vernestra months later. status unknown.

Nima and Viv’nia – present on SB for a bit but got sent away a while before SBF. presumably fine on Coruscant.

Ruu – the summary I found says he’s okay on Corellia. he also seems extremely cool and I hope I get to meet him. wish there was art.

Zint – present on SB. successfully evacuated with Qort.

IV. Nihil kids

Krix Kamerat – last seen still on SB as it is on fire in Eiram’s atmosphere, fighting Lula. status unknown.

Nan – present on SB. tried and failed to prevent its fall. evacuated in Koley Linn’s ship, returning to the Nihil.

Sabata Krill – last seen on the bridge of a crashing ship over Corellia. status unknown.

what we know from announcements of upcoming media:

Avon – confirmed for Defy the Storm so alive (which we knew anyway due to her connection to Sana’s storyline during the OT).

Imri, Jordanna – confirmed for Defy the Storm so alive. I would guess the same goes for Sylvestri but I haven’t seen any info about that.

Lula – still MIA, presumed dead one whole year after SBF. the same probably goes for Farzala but he isn’t mentioned by name.
