just when enid thinks she's got wednesday down, she always manages to surprise her.

enid walked into her dorm and her jaw dropped open: her eyes fly to a kaleidoscope of streamers hung up over the bed. pastel balloons hovered in the dorm air, a colorful arrangement of a helium bouquet. a red cake stood ignited, sparks flying harmlessly, a flamboyant display of celebration.

it looked like a peacock sneezed its color off and coughed up a happy birthday card, with the "i's" dotted with hearts and everything.

holy shit.

"YOU'RE THROWING ME A BIRTHDAY PARTY?!?!"

startled, wednesday turns around to face enid, knife in hand and an incompletely cut birthday cake. a deer, doused in black, caught in the headlights. the cake is red velvet.

cute, she remembered her favorite girl group.

"this is simply a gesture of repayment," wednesday croaks out before putting the knife down. "for when you threw me a birthday party-"

wednesday's words are cut short when enid runs up and hugs her, the werewolf's body shaking with giggles. wednesday could feel the brash material of enid's stupidly loud sweater brush against her cheek softly. she stood startled, frozen, before slowly pulling them apart, eyebrows raised.

"...oh, right. still not a hugger." enid clears her throat awkwardly. "anyways, thank you thank you thank you!"

but, maybe its good that enid hugged her, wednesday begrudgingly deduces. she wouldn't have been able to see her stupid mouth slightly twitch upwards

I asked the members how they feel about their Billboard entrance… the girls were unhappy and scared because they know the fan wars are coming. LE SSERAFIM want ILL’IT to be safe because look what’s happening to BOTH girl groups RIGHT NOWWWWW?!?!

I genuinely pray and hope for LSFM to feel better because I know these words will stick with them, I can relate no matter how confident you are… these words hurt and having to see it over vocals that don’t even affect this planet and our lives is crazy 😩🤡
