Hello Yukidragon, I've been following your headcanons and theories for a while, thanks to a friend I have a question and it's not about the game something's wrong with sunny day jack but about another game that will come out in the case the game, The Groom Of Gallagher Mansion .

The game will have another ghost as a love interest, but this time it's a ghost of a beheaded groom. and I would like to know if you also believe that the game will be like the movie Corpse Bride. and what is your theory about the plot of the game, do you think his death has anything to do with Elias' family jewels?

Ah yes, Elias Gallagher, the other super hot and tragic ghost male lead in the SnaccPop Studios roster. Kudos to Sauce for designing such an interesting character who instantly catches the eye with such a striking detail that tells so much of his story. Their artwork and ideas are really awesome.

Fun fact - apparently the game is going to be more of a supernatural romance story and not a yandere-themed game. This suggests that Elias is only going to be scary in appearance rather than because something is twisted up inside him.

Though I’m sure there’s going to be angst and horror elements. I mean... poor guy got his head chopped off, and on his wedding day no less!

While the story of the Groom of Gallagher Mansion has had a lot less teasers about the lore, as I recall, it was mentioned that he was murdered by his bride on his wedding day because she wanted the family jewels. Of course, this was mentioned before Elias went from being an interesting OC to the star of his own game, so I won’t be surprised if that changes in the story.

But man, if the teaser tidbits of the lore stay the same, can you imagine how that might have gone down? Elias, being a sickly guy finally had someone who wanted to marry him despite his health problems. He’s giddy, thinking he’s finally found true love. Maybe he’s so excited he has to take a seat, exhausted after their wedding, when suddenly the bride he was gushing over just swings an axe into him from behind while he’s not looking and takes his head clean off! Whoever his first bride was, they had major upper body strength. Look at just how clean that cut was.

Then again, they could have used piano wire and shoved Elias through it at top speed or maybe the family has a bunch of non-jewel treasures that include a guillotine, and the bride tricked him into showing her how it works. Who knows really.

I suspect the Groom of Gallagher Mansion is probably going to be a sweeter sort of game, with a lot of fan service and some macabre touches. A game that’s all about being romanced (and seduced) by a sweet ghost with a bit of an Adam’s Family spoopy vibe sounds really cool.

Of course, this is all wild speculation at this point. It’s way too early to be sure of much of anything, but I’m curious to see whatever direction the dev team has in mind for this spooky yet charming groom.

Free games that the ikevamp characters would play on their phone in the 21st century

a/n- no I am not reliving my childhood games through them nor am I being biased to certain characters laughs nervously

Theo secretly loves playing pancake tower on his phone. The excitement that he feels when he is able to break his highest current record is something else.

Jean enjoys playing once upon a tower. All you need to do is hit some goblins and stay away from a dragon, stress free game, wouldn't you agree?

Of course, Piano Tiles is most loved by our dear Mozart. Yes, he started playing it just to make fun of it but is now ironically... playing it like his music career depends on it. Later on he discovered project sekai, which he has to say, is close to becoming his most favourite game overall.

Do you remember Fruit Ninja? Yeah that game, guess who loves playing it? Our poster boy, Napoleon. Slicing these bad ass fruits with swords that have different effects is just chef kiss for him

Arthur LOVES LOVES LOVES playing dangerous fellows. No I am not taking any criticism on this, he just loves it, okay? Oh his close second is Mystic Messenger. The weird chat timing doesn't bother him because he barely sleeps on time, and it's always a nice break in the middle of 3 am.

Candy crush is Comte's favourite. No one knows why. He just enjoys it.

Vincent doesn't like playing much, but when he's in the mood, he adores my little terrarium, it's super relaxing for him.

Dots and Co., is Leonardo's jam. He installed the app on a whim but ended up getting addicted to it. Plays it whenever he's not sleeping or is free.

Dazai is also not really a fan of playing games, but tap tap fish is close to his heart. No stress, just cute little aquatic animals.

Does anyone remember unholyc? It was quite the hype like some time ago, Shakespeare got curious and installed it to see what it was about. He doesn't regret getting it

Sometimes, the mansion residents and shakespeare have game nights. They all play among us while voice chatting through discord.

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! Rayman 3 was the first video game I owned… that was not an educational game nor a licensed game nor on a tiny screened portable console. A lot of things have stuck with me from this game including Murfy’s snarky tutorial, the terror of the invincible Knaaren and this song. The Hoodoo are enemies who only appear to shield their allies from incoming attacks and when they show up they are accompanied by a theme that is perfect for an enemy called Hoodoo. It has this strange spoopy quality throughout plus a banjo and piano that say “We’re throwin down in the bayou” and percussion that just says “We’re throwin down”. One of my first gaming music loves and I still whip out in Tabletop RPGs sometimes whenever there’s a battle in a swamp (which happens at least once a campaign). Hey, this song is so wonderful, it deserves it. That and I just like swamps in video games. Blame this game.

Classical Music for Halloween - from Halidon Music

Idk if this is Halloween per se, as it’s more dark autumnal vibes than spoopy. Like most of their videos, it’s 2.5 hours long. (I often find 3-6 hour mixes, rarely anything around 1-hour or less.) Lots of very good tunes, including a lot of stuff I love.

There’s a few that bug me. Gershwin’s prelude andante whatever is too modern-jazzy to me. (I first heard it played on hammered dulcimer, and it sounds even worse to me there.) Tired of “A Night on Bald Mountain”, especially for Halloween mixes. It’s good, but it’s overplayed.

I liked seeing “Palladio” by Karl Jenkins, aka the diamond song. The opening track stole my heart, showing this would be a good mix of stuff that’s not over-played. It feels like a prime example of what I expect from a “dark academia” mix. Really, a lot of this stuff is “new” to me, or at least something I’ve only heard in recent years.

It only took about half an hour to realize I wanted to share this mix.

Day 11: Night time in an ancient house/manor, with the tinkling of piano keys from the next room. 

This is heavily inspired by this video because I wanted the spoopy vibes.

Sometimes, when Darcy’s in a reservation drought, so to speak, she’s asked to consult on certain investigations. Most of the time, it stems from her astrophysics credentials and experience with events such as the Hex and Greenwich. Sometimes, it’s because of her hometown. 

She’d been nearly finished with packing her bag to go meet the project leader in Jerome, Arizona, when her roommate offered up a word of advice. “It’s important to always tip the piano player at hotels, otherwise there’s no telling what sort of riff raff they’ll attract.” 

It proved to be an oddly premonitory statement. 

It’s so dark and oppressively quiet on the mountain. There are lights from street lamps and flood lights on buildings in the distance, Sedona and Cottonwood hazy bright spots in the inky black, with Jerome a cluster of lights overseeing it all. She’s unnerved by the trek in a way her escorts are visibly confused by. They ask if she’s excited at seeing a sky full of stars, but they’re distant in a way they never are at the Osprey, where they feel close enough to pluck like an apple in an orchard. 

They’re based out of the Grand Hotel above the town. It’s an imposing edifice, brightly lit in the black, so if nothing else it’s easy to locate. 

She has her escorts stop before getting to the hotel to check-in because she insists they’ll need food that isn’t dusty and overpriced confectioneries from the lobby or MREs. They seem inclined to agree with her, or at least are agreeable enough to stop, though the pair of agents insist on her staying in the locked SUV’s backseat after locating a burger joint on the second floor of a building declaring itself Town Hall. 

The pair both go after checking that the SUV is actually secure and telling her to honk if anything happens. The stillness settles in like a fog in the dark while they jog across the empty street, and she scrunches down in her seat with a few creaks from the leather upholstery. 

This part of Jerome is unbearably creepy, she’s finding. The street is entirely void of cars and people, and the SUV is parked next to the rubble and ruin of an old demolished building, skirted by iron gates across the street and kiddy corner to the town’s police station. Though if the gates are to keep people out or something in, remains to be seen. Behind the truck is another hotel in the brick building on the corner of the three-way intersection, proudly advertising a ‘Spirit Room’ but ultimately looks like a bar if the glimpse of a billiards table and neon promotions of alcohol are any indication. The unnerving feeling only infuses itself more with the inclusion of some hotel guest adjusting the curtains framing the corner window above the corner entrance that she can see in the rearview mirror.  

A chill starts settling in, beginning at her feet and quickly but thoroughly working its way up her legs to the rest of her body, and Darcy shivers in her seat, digging her hands into her coat pockets. She’s got her trust Taser in one of them, which helps alleviate some of the nervousness she’s feeling being alone in a locked car in the middle of a ghost town.    

Even the proximity to the local cop shop doesn’t help at all, and she hits the lock for a second time just to be sure, just as the music from the saloon behind the SUV starts drifting out. It almost sounds like a minor-key ragtime piano number, featuring the occasional metallic clink from the flagpole spearing into the black night above. A man stumbles out of the saloon after a few minutes of her waiting and surveying the area around her in a fit of overwhelming paranoia, and she sinks even further into her seat so as to hide as he passes by the truck on his merry way to parts unknown. 

Now that she’s low enough, she can see the Grand Hotel’s bottom half on the street above them on the mountain, looking like a fucking tombstone in the night, and the knowledge that there are highly trained agents right there in addition to the ones currently waiting on a “Haunted Hamburger” as the painted sign declares outside who’re escorting her, does little to stop her heart from skittering in her chest as the same man comes running back on the other side of the street before disappearing into the dark once more, like some kind of freak. 

The faint twinkling from the saloon’s piano drifts off just as she spots her escorts coming back down the outdoor stairs with a white plastic bag of food. Her fingers ache from the death grip she’s maintained on her Taser ever since the music first filtered in, and she’s never been happier to see SHIELD’s jackbooted thugs in her life. 

And then the weird running man returns for a second time and knocks on her window, gesturing as if to ask if she’s alright. She doesn’t know what the escorts yell at him but he gives her a thumbs up and a placating wave towards them before casually resuming a jog down the street next to the ruins. 

She feels like her blood is buzzing the short ride up to the Grand Hotel.

halloween 🎃 i wasn't even allowed to celebrate it bc of family and their religion but i love spoopy vibes and costumes, and of course, candy

🎂- if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?

i'm not gonna get too philosophical on this so just lighthearted ones:

1. to actually feel well rested after sleeping lol

2. to no longer be lactose intolerant so i can eat concerningly massive amounts of ice cream with no consequences again. or, scratch that. just for my stomach to stop being sensitive to literally everything in existence

3. a brain that produces serotonin properly

⛅- what is your morning routine?

"routine" is used loosely here because i can't keep a routine for the life of me hah but:

i wake up, check through my phone, and take my meds

then i grab a small snack to hold me over until i remember to eat lunch lol

90% of the time i go back to sleep because i'm tired. if not, i will usually just stay in bed for a bit and then go heat up a proper meal and play piano while i wait

So, we have a piano in our living room that we use as like, part of the entertainment center (and also as it's intended to be used).

One of my roommates LOVES candles. We have many.

They are all on the piano.

My Piano Methods book is always open and on the piano.

When we light candles it often looks as though we're performing a ritual.

Maybe it's for me to pass Keyboard 2? Idk.

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! Soooo…as far as I can tell, the treasure hunting challenges in Sonic Adventure 2 weren't among the best designed or fondly remembered levels in the game but there is one level that bucks this trend: Pumpkin Hill. Although, it's not so much a hill as it is a mountain range. A mountain range that houses every spooky and spoopy trick and treat ever known. We've got jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, a graveyard, an abandoned church, and even a ghost train. The atmosphere is definitely a plus and so is the spread out area that takes advantage of Knuckles' overtuned speed and ability to glide. Gliding through the air and riding rockets to reach the top of giant stone spires are always a good time. However, the piece de resistance is the music for this level, a rap song called "A Ghost's Pumpkin Soup" (Yes, I am 100% serious). A song that is at once ridiculously catchy, ridiculously memeable, and just plain ridiculous but that backing track with the piano and synth definitely adds to the Halloween-y atmosphere. In fact, Pumpkin Hill may just be the most Halloween-y level in any video game I've ever played and I think that's wonderful in my book. In fact, I know that is. I sense it in my feet. P.S. Here's a link to the Pumpkin Hill theme. This post would feel incomplete without it.
