M!Noble Six with a cuddly s/o?
Ah, been a while since I wrote for Noble Six. Hope these aren't too late for you, anon.
Noble Six would be all for a cuddly S/O, despite his reservations about his armor being removed. To him, physical affection reassures him that his partner is real and safe, and the amount of dopamine that swirls through his veins is enough to send him off to Cloud Nine.
Just in general though, Six wouldn't mind PDA; in fact, I imagine he actively encourages it. He is a rare instance where despite him being a Spartan, he is quite open to the idea of physical touch in a relationship and isn't afraid to initiate it with his S/O if they'll allow him too. Be it hand-holding, an arm draped across his S/O's shoulders, he's all for it.
When the revelation is revealed to Noble Team about his S/O and how he can be quite affectionate with his partner (in a non-sexual way), it is something they didn't expect from someone who was formerly considered a lone wolf. Carter is the one who took the most issues with it; seeing it as they're active military, he believes that Six should keep physical contact with his S/O in public to a minimum and not preform it at all in front of superiors, but Six was never one to follow the rules too closely. The only part of the lecture he'll agree with is no PDA in front of his superiors, since he doesn't want his S/O be forced to split from him.
I follow my old set of HCs from quite a bit ago in the fact that Six would cuddle his S/O on the floor of their apartment when he's able to take some leave-time from his duties. Being a Spartan has some benefits, so Six would help his S/O buy many weighted blankets and pillows to help cushion the more rigged parts of his armor, along with buying stash of snacks and random movie flicks.
Prefers being the big spoon for obvious reasons - he's incredibly protective of his partner and has seen pieces of war that he would've never wanted to see, so holding them in his arms grants him some form of comfort. Doesn't mean he'll always want to be the big spoon though; after a nightmare or a rough week of jobs from Noble, he'd enjoy being held, or at least the best his S/O can hold him.
During his temporary leave-time from active duty, Six would likely carry his S/O on his back while he carries out the needed chores for the day. Quite quickly he'd become known through his S/O's little community - S/O's Spartan in shining armor, ever protective of his love, but radiates a soothing presence and carries a heart of glimmering gold. Six helps out whenever he's able to, but tries not to stay out too long as it make sure the sun doesn't agitate his S/O too much.
There have been a few occasions where Jorge and Jun visited Six during his leave, and the sight they got to witness Six catching a break under some shade, his S/O's head laying against his armored thigh and in a pleasant slumber; Six's gloved hands would be tenderly brushing against their scalp while his gaze was drawn to their sleeping form, love guiding all of his delicate actions. Jorge chuckled softly as Jun gave him a look - the mysterious Noble Six was absolutely love-struck.

It's come to our attention that there is a great deal of speculation that Spartan B-312, better known as Noble 6, survived the events of the fall of Reach by taking shelter in a cave.
We regret to inform you in such a manner, but we checked and...
there are no caves on Reach.

In The End
Noble six x reader
Tumblr media
Faint sounds of fire crackling filled up the once was mainly empty cave which was now more of a hide away for yn and noble six, until some rescue group is sent or they found a way to leave. Ever since Reach was glassed com signal has been nothing but shit. It was noble sixes first glassing but somewhat the opposite for yn, if you count them bein on alpha nine under bucks Command and witnessing the start of New Mombasa glassing otherwise it could be they're first. After the lost of Rookie it was hard for everyone in alpha nine, eventually after a while the team went separate ways, but once in a while will meet up for a simple dinner. After a good few weeks for yn they eventually became a squad leader themselves for they're own team. Hard at first, settling in as a leader while still recovering from rookies death, it eventually became easy after a while. Awkward in the very beginning but eventually yn came up with a way to slowly break the ice which worked, became close, real close, as a family at that, but In The End, all good things end. While on Reach with Noble Team not only witnessing the deaths of sixes teammates but you're own. Oh the guilt... what a bitch. The flashbacks, everything. Looking over at the 1000 lb spartan who was sitting across from you now next to you, aware of how you're clearly feeling. It was interesting, all Civilians, Higher Command Staff, ODST, ONI even believed in the stereotypical stuff around Spartans being nothing but superhuman, merciless, Killing machines with no emotions, but six has shown otherwise. Despite his past of being a Lone wolf, which noble team managed to help him slowly break the mindset of, has shown how he cares for his own teammates, how close he is with them and how much his teammates death took a drastic impact on him. You knew he was afraid of Loosing you, and you wouldn't blame him. Too much has happened that if you lost either or, the other would more in likely go insane on a full rampage. His silence reminded you of Rookie in a way, how silent he was but put his genuine feelings in actions, funny how he didn't talk much but you both were always found with one another, though six can and will talk, he was still a more of putting his genuine emotions through his actions guy which you didn't mind. Spacing off at the entrance of the cave as you sat there and thought to yourself.. how were y'all gonna leave.. what is going to happen when you do.. what if there's no way to leave.. your mind kept racing slowly making you have a headache before a gloved hand reached and held one of you're's. "You know thinking is good but there should be a limit." He spoke tiredly. You wouldn't blame him, the firefight with back to back waves of Covenant and trying to survive took a drastic impact of energy. "I know.. but" being cut off as he place one of his fingers over your lips to make it clear for you to be quiet. "Shh, here eat this and rest. We can plan something when we have enough energy to go and explore Reach after the glassing for any luck on anything" handing you an MRE before opening one himself, "will do Leiutenant" emphasizing heavily on the Leiutenant before looking at him making yall both laugh, before he shooked his head. "Honestly, the only reason why I'm sane right now is because you're here. Otherwise I would've been gone mentally." He admitted, making you smile at his words, though at other times he could be cheesy, with you he didn't hesitate to talk, not even one bit. "I could say the same" you replied as you looked out the cave entrance, evident is night as you waited for the main entree of the MRE to finish heating up. Maybe In The End not everything is gonna be a giant pill of shit, but you weren't gonna jinx it.. who knows maybe he could taken from you in the blink of your eye, looking at the spartan who was struggling due his gloves you couldn't help but snicker some before offering to help him open a small packet....
Hi there, I'm B-312-MIA! Must say this is my first fanfic in a long while and I'm still learning more about Noble Team due to me being more of an ODST halo person. I hope yall enjoy this little one shot we can call it I suppose. But do if you ever have a suggestion I should write please share, I don't mind writing anything though smut would take a bit longer due to me not writing those much. But I won't waste any more of y'alls time and let y'all have at it. :))

My Shadow of Intent
My Name is Spartan Lieutenant Madeline A-298 I'm... "employed" by ONI Section 4, Given the fact I was an Orphaned child when I was inducted into the Spartan III program. They told us we'd get the Revenge we wanted by being their most lethal weapons. They lied, gave us faulty equipment yet we still got the job done. I was an angry little recruit, a pissed off ball of anger that made me one of the few kids that Section 4 took interest in. my ability to get the job done at a distance or get my hands dirty no matter the cost granted me entrance into the Headhunter program. Equipment was still shitty but it's better than the standard issue most 3s had, Better Gel Later and Metal Plating for sustained fire. The Headhunters were already only a few yet during my first three incursions deep behind Enemy lines I got my Call Sign "Hex".
If you haven't learned what a Witches Hex is somewhere in the last 1000 years then I'll tell you, when a witch casts her Hex on you she is essentially marking you for death. I'm sure you know where I'm going with this, all three of my partners died at the hands of the Covenant while working with me. first it was my twin brother, then my Dino, Then Lucy.... To a civilian they'd have broken by now but the mission always comes first. Success at any cost was the price we agreed to, to get the vengeance we wanted. They taught us how to harness that hate and give it back to the Covenant, it's the best skill I excel at, the mission would be complete with no witnesses and no survivors other than me. Every time two went in I was the only one to make it back to ONI and give them the debriefs they rarely have. My fellow Hunters didn't want to be paired with me, Command cited the word Cursed in several of the refusal statements. So since I was a clear asset to ONI with apparent skills beyond my peers considering I have to complete missions alone, they gave me the final promotion to Lone Wolf Headhunter. My call sign wasn't my name but they saw it fitting to call me "Hex" since no friend or foe ever survives. I'd be given my own Mjolnir armor set like the Spartan 2s along with some more augments to allow me to function alone in the field. They would task me with much of the same missions operatives like Spartan B-312 and Agent Locks went on. Which meant a high chance of no return, but I have held a small bit of Lucy's death out of my report cause it would jeopardize my vengeance. There was one special elite that snuck up on us in perfect silence getting Lucy by the throat before getting away. He was too good to be a normal Spec ops sangheili warrior, I didn't have the knowledge on every hidden rank of the Covenant at the time to guess. But now after years of assignments of Lone Wolf assassinations and Sabotage I saw the name on the ONI Hit List... He was a member of the Silent Shadow, I took the assignment before any other Headhunter could get their Intel. If the Silent Shadow truly do remain than the Hex that Elite has on his head is about to feel the warm sensation of a 50 cal Pierce his skull. Because now the Hunter is the Hunted....

W.I.P. Wednesday
Thank you @starsandskies !! Featuring: Jun A-266, Frëja E-241, Vermont B-312, Hestia-113 (@briarfox13) in “What is a Spartan?” | Extremely belated, and entirely revamped idea for @/ladynyxeris
I’ve been in a really strange and not great place for the last several months. I’m behind on a project for @ladynyxeris (thank you eternally for your patience), and have bouts of depression and migraines and body pain that make it impossible to sit at my desk long enough to actually get anything done. This is a reason I don’t do commissions, and only random gifts for others. If I gift someone a piece, then there’s no obligation or much of a restriction for a time table (except my own guilt for not delivering in a promised time frame...).
But being able to finally just do a lot of self service Halo art, has been extremely rewarding for me. And has done a lot for my productivity and creativity.

HALO REACH SPOILERS**
I like to think that Halsey brings up Noble Team and their 'failures' at least once and Jun straight up goes off on her. So I wrote it :))
"They all died, and yet you're still here. Is it luck I wonder? Or perhaps it is skills they all lacked-"
"You will not speak of them that way," Jun whipped around, staring Halsey in the face. "If it hadn't been for you and your damned research, maybe they'd be here. Maybe there'd still be a Noble Team."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes, Halsey. I'm sure," he hissed. "You didn't see what we were up against. You were too busy boldfacing and making snarky comments about Six to open your eyes and understand."
"I completely understand," Halsey argued, standing from her chair only to flinch back when Jun brought his hand down on the table with a loud thud.
"NO, DOCTOR. NO, YOU COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND." He shouted angrily. His blood was boiling and he was certain that his face was red with anger. He wanted to rip the table apart just to get to the woman who had the audacity to speak down about his teammates. Jorge. Kat. Carter. Emile. Six. All of them gone, and for what. A battle they practically lost anyways. "Can you process it?" he muttered. "Can you understand that we are humans too?! WE ARE NOT JUST ANDROIDS TO BE USED AND DISPOSED OF!"
"Jun," Sarah Palmer's voice said. Her hand touching his shoulder, he loosened up slightly trying to calm himself. But he was too far gone. His body was shaking with a violent rage he had pushed back. That he had refused to let show itself. At their memorials. Well...everyone except Six's.
She never got one.
"She will never know a memorial," Jun looked up at Halsey once more. "Antonia B-312 will never be mourned by anyone. Because all your damn operatives made her out to be was a machine. A robot. A ghost." Halsey's face was stern but it definitely read that she was listening. He watched her for a moment longer as he continued. "You would feel so destroyed if it were her opposing SPARTAN killed, now wouldn't you? Your precious pet project, yes?" Jun stood up straight, adjusting his suit's collar. He turned on his heel, pausing.
"You will never speak ill of Noble Team again, do I make myself clear, Doctor?"
"You don't command me, Chief of Staff."
"You're right. I don't. But so help me, if you continue this bullshit? You'll wish you stopped while you were ahead. Palmer," he nodded to the SPARTAN woman next to him to follow him out, his hands in his pants pockets leaving Halsey in a room of holographic files. Five ghosts haunting the room and watching her every movement. She could feel their gazes on her as she slowly sat down in her chair, staring at the computer before her. She could still feel the table shaking from when Jun brought his hand down on it.
She might have thought he could split it. He could've if he truly wanted to. Slowly she deleted her last notes and started again. This time, leaving her bias in the dark corner, guarded by a rose tattooed Reaper, whose eyes followed Halsey's every motion.
And Halsey knew Noble Six was watching.

Spartan B-312, codenamed 'Noble Six' and 'NyQuil Chicken', was actually an ordinary ODST who - if obviously horseshit yet persistent urban legends are to be believed - got transferred into the Spartan-III program entirely un-augmented through a series of unlikely clerical errors.

A Green Lantern Ring lands in your fandom's universe. Which character(s) you think can wield it?
"In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might
Beware my power: Green Lantern's light!"
Greetings, r/fanfiction! May you be having a wonderful day and I wish you happy holidays next to all your loved ones, as well as a glorious 2020 filled with fortune and success!
A few months ago, I made a post asking people which characters in their fandoms they thought would be worthy of lifting Thor's Hammer "Mjolnir" (refering to Marvel's version of the character). And since it was so well- received by many, I've decided to make a similar follow-up post with a slightly different spin on it, to encourage a friendly discussion that can connect us all a bit moar, in the spirit of the holiday season (and hopefully give someone ideas for their next big project!).
So, without further ado, go get yourself a snack and a huge drink 'cause you're in for a long post.
Picture this scenario in thy mind: On a calm night like any other, a green comet splits the heavens in half, and crashes into the Earth with an emerald blast. Someone takes notice and travels to the point of impact. In the middle of an enormous crater there is a stranger dressed in a green-black suit soaked with blood. Maybe it's Abin Sur, maybe it's Hal Jordan, Kilowok, Arisia or somebody else entirely.
But whoever this stranger is, they manage to whisper "The ring... it has chosen you... You are now a Green Lantern..." with their last breath, right before dozing off into the eternal sleep.
The ring leaves the corpse, hovers in the air with a life of its own, and clings to its new owner.
Now, you tell me: Who did the ring choose? And why?
To understand how a Green Lantern can be chosen, we need to understand the emotional spectrum.
Each lantern color/corps is the embodiment of an specific concept/emotion from which its power is drawn/originated (for example: Red Lanterns are the embodiment of "rage", Blue Lanterns are the embodiment of "hope", Yellow Lanterns draw their powers from "fear" and so on). We're only contemplating the Green Lantern Corps here 'cause they're the most famous and straight-forward, not to mention that speaking about the intricacies of the other Corps makes for an entire post of its own. However, if you are versed in the Lantern mythos, don't hold back and feel free to add your speculations in your comment regarding the rest of the spectrum.
Back to topic, Green Lanterns are the embodiment of "willpower", meaning that wielders of this power ring are as mighty as their own will/strenght of character is ("hardest choices, strongest wills" and all that). The Green Lantern Corps serve as protectors of the universe, created and led by the Guardians of the Universe (think of them as an interstellar police-force). They welcome all species into their ranks so long as they possess enough willpower to wield the ring.
Speaking of which, the capabilities of the power ring are virtually endless, only limited by the imagination of the wielder (though they can run out of energy that can only be restored with a Green Lantern Power Battery). Some of the most common capabilities of the power ring go as follows (to my limited knowledge. If you know of more, comment!):
Flight
Cast a protective aura around the wielder
Project/absorb large quantities of energy
Create constructs of hard light which size, quantity and nature are determined by the wielder's creativity
Communication with other Green Lanterns
Access to a galactic database that stores the almost-infinite knowledge from the Guardians of the Universe.
Translate any language in the universe to that of the wielder's
So, with all that aside, I'll be the first to play this game!
My choice of character to become a green lantern would be:
Spartan B-312 "Noble Six" from Halo
My reasoning? As those who are familiar with Halo know already, the candidates for the Spartan-III program were selected by the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) from children whose lives were ruined by attacks of the Covenant in human colonies all across the galaxy.
Not only that, but the excruciating training regime that the candidates were put through, the painful, often mortal process of augmentation and the suicidal missions Spartans were supposed to engage in against a technologically far-superior enemy.
Yet Noble Six was one of a kind, even among other Spartans. Being one of the only two Spartans labeled as "hyper-lethal" (the other one being the Master Chief himself), infamous for "making entire" millitia groups dissapear", to the point of having his superior refer to him as "his own private grim reaper". And when we take into consideration the events of Halo Reach, especially his standoff during the final mission of the game (I want to avoid spoilers, but you know what I'm talking about if you have played the game :,( ).
Thus, for what he is, the purpose, circumstances of his creation and the countless battles he waged, the Spartan B-312 Noble Six is, to me, worthy of a Green Lantern Ring, as the Corps is not oblivious to army men like Hal Jordan or John Stewart.
But what about you? Which non-DC character in your fandom(s) you think would be capable of wielding a Green Lantern Power Ring?
Please feel free to elaborate on the matter as much as you want, I'm eager to read all of your comments!
For now I'm heading to bed, I'll make sure to reply tomorrow morning.
In the meantime, I sincerely thank you for reading humble post. Once again, I wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year. May you find success in everything you set your mind on!
Godspeed!

Could you maybe write about a Female Noble 6 and an Agender (AFAB) reader where the reader gets misgendered and they’re really down about it?
you have no idea how excited i am that i finally get to write a noble six x reader like??? idk it just amazes me slkghahkl
Tumblr media
F!Noble Six when her S/O gets misgendered:
Oh boy, usually Six doesn't speak up about anything, but this is one of the occurances where she'll take the initiative. She'll take a step forward and tell whoever misgendered you that you don't go by those pronouns/terms, and if they don't comply? She'll start to get ticked.
I see that the other is egging Six on, continuing to misgender her S/O in front of her and throwing all sorts of slurs around. That's when Six had enough, and pinned the bastard against a wall, speaking low and quiet that if they spoke another insult towards you, she'll personally have a word with them at their own home.
Now that's a scary thing to hear, but being Six's S/O, you've never seen this side of her, which makes the threat even more terrifying. You've always seen her being stoic and collected, only speaking when necessary. But witnessing the events fold out before you? It made you realize that Six was more than a silent soldier.
Afterwards, Six would leave the asshole behind, and immediately come to console you.
The rat had scattered off thank Heavens, and Six would take you to sit on a batch of boxes, just far enough away for the conversation to be private, but close enough to where Six can be called if anything were to happen.
Her voice is gentle and smooth as silk as she spoke to you, a far contrast to how she spoke with the other. She asked if you were okay, and don't think about lying to her. Six is very observant.
After telling how the other affected you and that you weren't feeling your best, she'd pull you into a hug. It wasn't rushed, but instead a slow, comfort hug. Her touch was gentle, and her arms brought a sense of security and protection that you couldn't find anywhere else.
She didn't speak during this, but you knew she didn't need words to convey how much she cared. She loved you deeply, and no matter the gender, looks, or otherwise, Six will make sure others treat you with respect.
Now I do have a headcanon that Six never takes off her armor, so you'll likely have to cuddle with her armor on... which is a experience on it's own.
You have to have a shit load of pillows and blankets to make up for how hard and rigid her armor is; Six does apologize for this, she really does, it's just she isn't comfortable without her armor. You forgive her of course, but that doesn't make the situation any easier.
You do manage to finally get comfortable after about seven tries though, and it was well worth it.
Since Six refuses to take off her helmet, she would gently and tenderly nudge and nuzzle your foreheads together- well, the forehead of her helmet I mean. It's the thought that counts, right?
Unfortunately though, Carter does come to get Six after a few hours.
Sadly for him, you were passed out across pillows that were stacked on top of Six. She noticed Carter in the doorway, and they had a stand off.
Carter left after that, asking no questions.

(from @mecha-marksman)
*Rex looks around the compound, walking somewhat aimlessly, until he sees Jorge, at which point he makes a bee line towards him*
"Excuse me Sir, your a Spartan, right? I'm looking for Noble Team, I've been assigned to the squad. I'm Rex, by the way."
"So that's our new Number Six." Says the largest of the five gathered Spartans. For everything he'd heard about their mysterious newcomer (which wasn't much after ONI got their hands on his documents), he certainly wasn't expecting someone so friendly, or clueless. This was Spartan B-312, a killing shadow, allegedly a legend. Why won't he recognize a Spartan when five were standing right in front of him?
