Recently read the first chapter of Ursa Major and was wondering if you modeled the Heavens and Hell after the Lord's of Order & Chaos from DC?
I wouldn't say it was a direct inspiration, but given how obsessed with Doctor Fate Young Justice has made me, I'd say the vibe was there at least, haha.
I pulled the most from the Diablo series, especially in terms of visuals, location, and the general hierarchy of Heaven and Hell, but there's also some DnD elements, Marvel obviously, and even a bit of Hazbin Hotel (I like some of their demon designs and I would prefer demons to have distinct personalities and not be mindless, ravenous hordes like they mostly are in Diablo)

Was the Cult of Kosmos in the Kverse a Kronos plan against Olympus, or did it have connections to The Beyonder from Marvel? (Was curious since Kosmos is another name The Beyonder goes by in the comics.)
Neither! Broad strokes, the Cult of Kosmos was a secret cabal of powerful and influential people from across the Greek world with a burning desire to see the Olympians and pretty much every magical aspect permeating their society eradicated. Some had been victims, directly or indirectly, of the gods' machinations, others aimed for mankind to rule without concern for the Olympians' whims, others simply sought profit from the wars and conflict the Cult brewed to shatter people's faith in the gods.
In a way, the Cult was way ahead of its time, for good and ill; they could see the writing on the wall on decreasing Greek power and hegemony, and they accurately predicted that the gods would eventually ditch them and find a way to keep their power. They also weren't really wrong about mankind needing to find their independence from divine intervention. It's just that their methods were, more often than not, rather appalling, causing endless torment, death, and destruction for decades.

Have you watched X-Men '97? It's a great continuation to the old animated series, and it's doing a whole lot to expand on Genosha and Mutant Politics around the world.
Not yet, but I'm gonna, probably when the season's done. I haven't seen much of the OG show (I was a DCAU kid first and foremost), so I thought about doing a full rewatch but I just don't have the time, so I hope I won't miss too much.

Have you considered the possibility of adding the Hunter and elements from the Midnight Sons game?
Sure have! I love Midnight Suns, so you'll definitely see some stuff from that game. Re: The Hunter specifically, if she's included it'd be further down the line.

If most Gems produced are from Yellow, how much time does the Giraffe spend in an extraction chamber? Seems to me that, given the breadth of the Gempire, she'd pretty much be living in one.
Yeah, you wouldn't believe how much of the Empire's current decision-making is done in a giant bathtub :P
Seriously though, Yellow is efficiency personified; she's designed an extraction core that takes the pure, concentrated essence directly from her gemstone, which gets sent in very small quantities to active production worlds across the local cluster to be diluted and added into the injector mix. The chamber method seen in the show is the traditional (and almost ceremonial) way of doing it from way back, when all the Diamonds were on Homeworld.

Your feelings on characters' deaths are valid and shared by many folks. Tbh, it's those feelings that feed the Canon Divergent and -insert character name- lived/survived tags on many fanworks.
Many of which I have consumed! Thank you, I appreciate it c:

I'd like to point out that death in JJK is grossly exaggerated. The manga is almost over, and the core cast has only been subjected to a handful of casualties. In Shibuya (the 'bloodbath' arc) the good guys suffer a grand total of 2 losses, that girl being one of them. Furthermore, JJK masterfully explores the legacies of major deceased characters - developing them even futher in death. Death is a major theme in JJK, but more so in how it impacts characters before, after and during it.
That's very fair! To your credit, I still see the JJK subreddit recommended on my feed every now and then, and only once or twice have I ever seen people complaining about how many characters get killed off. I fully believe that death and its consequences is a big theme in the show, and it's certainly a worthy topic to explore in a story.
Death freaks me out irl. I'd call it my greatest fear, but it's hard use that concept for something that will certainly happen to me and everyone I know and love at some point. It's not something I can easily contemplate on my own, to say nothing of its treatment in media. I'm not saying every time someone dies on the page or screen I'm disturbed, of course - my skin's a bit thicker than that - but if I have any sort of attachment to a character, the finality of killing them off is a sobering prospect that I am not fond of exploring 90% of the time.
There's so many stories you can tell, even with characters that might seem flat or very simple. So many interactions that can happen, so much growth lying ahead. And you lose so much of this potential when a character dies. Yes, of course, the death itself becomes a new avenue of storytelling, and you can get a ton of mileage out of that - as I'm sure JJK is an example of - but you've narrowed that potential severely when you execute (heh) on that choice.
Obviously, death has its place in the narrative space. Not gonna pretend like I haven't loved stories where prominent characters are killed off, that'd be ridiculous. But I'm also never gonna intentionally seek out stories where that's the main focus, the same way I instantly avert my eyes when I encounter the body of an animal, and the same way I can't look at the coffin in a funeral.

Are Genosha's Sentinels of the large blocky variety, or are they more like the ones from X-Men Evolution?
Classic chonky murder bots. They probably started closer to the Days of Future Past “realistic” versions, but they were pretty flimsy and still used conventional weaponry, so they got upgraded.

Kassandra remains one of the most fascinating additions to the Kverse. Maybe it's because we can actually experience her heroic journey instead of just hearing about it. I hope we get to see more of her in the future.
Thank you for saying so! I know Kassandra kinda came out of left field - though that could be said of a lot of the additions, to be fair - but her story had such an impact for me, and I'm so very glad I found a weird little niche for her to inhabit without the baggage of the franchise.
You'll definitely see more of her!

Hades II looks to take place a bit in the future from the first game. I'm not gonna spoil too much, but from the preview, let's just say sad times all around for the characters we've grown to know and love from the first game.
Yeah, that figures!

Have you seen some of the new Hades II material that's been previewed recently? What are your thoughts?
I've tried not to! I'm extremely excited for the game and I'd like to avoid getting too spoiled on it if possible. I did see some of the new god designs and, as expected, they are really freakin' hot.
I am very curious about how they're handling Melinoe's backstory. Is it gonna be a retcon (which I'd be fine with, not like they planned to make a sequel)? Or did they find a way to fit her in without changing anything? If it was revealed in the preview and you can tell me without spoiling too much, please do!

Kind of an out of nowhere question, but did the Kryptonverse Kassandra manage to unite her family throughout her Odyssey, or did she lose them all to tragedy?
A bit of both, really. Kassandra did manage to keep everyone alive and reunite her family, but Alexios - who was not born a demigod but was magically enhanced beyond even that level - died within a couple years of the destruction of the Cult - his body simply couldn't handle the changes without the Cult's magical support. It was heartbreaking, and part of the reason why Kassandra has a very chilly relationship with Olympus, as they refused to heal him for his part in supporting the Cult that aimed to see them destroyed (however complicated the situation might've been).
Nikolaos died of natural-ish causes roughly five years after the family reunited. He wasn't super old, but a lifetime of war had taken its toll and he passed of a heart attack while tending the fields of their property. He did live to see Kassandra made a goddess, at least.
Stentor lived a full life, even going on to see Sparta win the war, and dying before Sparta lost much of the power it had gained. He always was a lucky bastard.
Myrrine simply vanished one day, while Kassandra was off uniting the Amazon tribes. The heartbreak of losing Alexios had taken a toll of the psychological variety on her. She left a note stating that she wished to return to life on the seas for the remainder of her life, asking Kassandra not to look for her. Kass ignored the request, but sadly never found her - perhaps she died as during a failed pirate raid, to Poseidon's unforgiving mood swings, or maybe she simply sailed away from the Greek world, never to return to the place that had caused her so much pain.

I remember someone recommending Jujutsu Kaisen to you, and while I love it, wanna warn you that it does suffer from the running trend of having an abundance of character deaths.
Oh, trust me, I'm well aware ._.
I watched the first ep and thought it was alright, interesting enough to maybe watch another later. I guess Reddit was spying on me because before I could watch another, it suggested a post on my feed with a gif of the one lady character with a hole through her skull and I went "Ah. Got'cha." I did some research and my suspicions were, to put it mildly, confirmed, haha.
I've seen some incredible clips and gifs of the fight scenes in the show, and I definitely get the hype, but I just don't really care to start a series in which I already know there's little point in getting attached to the characters.

So question have you heard of ark the animated series, ad if yes have you seen it since it came out.
With that would you consider it using that world not as part of the krypton verse, but more so a multiversal adventure crossover do to the nature of that setting?
Asking because there some champions in that world that might interest you from a 21rst century aboriginal Australian scientist woman to a 3rd century Chinese warrior woman from the yellow turban rebellion era.
And all those different backgrounds of people in the same place and time for interesting ideas for a story.
I heard it kinda surprise-dropped not too long ago, but now I'm wondering what on Earth Ark is about haha, that premise sounds wild. I love dinosaurs, so I might give it a shot, but it's not a priority.
Unfortunately, there's just no way I could take on trying to write a new series or even a new project within the pre-existing Multiverse the Kverse belongs to. It'll just be the Kverse from me for the foreseeable future haha.
Thank you for the suggestion, though!

What differences are there between Oracle magic and the future vision of the Sapphires? And which would you say is the most accurate?
I’m actually not sure if you mean the Oracle magic from the Boiling Isles or the Greek Oracle so I guess you get three answers haha
I think the Isles’ oracle/divination magic is the least accurate - very open to interpretation and highly dependent on the caster’s aptitude towards that particular school. Probably reliable short term, but as the possibilities mount, it’d be like predicting the weather beyond a day or two.
The prophecies of the Greek are interesting in that what they describe will happen, but it’s almost always a fool’s errand to actually try to decipher what it is and how it’ll come about, to say nothing of trying to change the outcome.
A Sapphire’s future vision is like shooting a very narrow beam across a vast ocean of possibilities. It’ll show them a very constrained but accurate view of the future ahead of them, but this perspective counts on the universe working like clockwork - that the laws of physics will continue to apply, that people will keep acting the way they normally do. Any major shift is like a big wave blocking the view and shifting the boat so that they end up with a different perspective altogether.
To continue the analogy, Garnet can see the whole ocean around her, but she’s the eye in a storm of probabilities; her immediate vicinity is very easy to discern, but the farther away from her an event is, the harder it is to make out details or any obstacles that might derail the path towards it. Still she can set a course and navigate as best she can towards it.

Would the Omnitrix be able to scan a Watermelon Steven?
Well, they’re magically animated watermelons - biologically speaking there is no difference from the regular item, even if they’re otherwise quite distinct. Give it a few million years and they’ll probably be genetically distinct enough (and far enough removed from Gem magic) to develop into their own species.
