I'm delusional so this is a small essay on why I think my really self indulgent poly ship would work (sorry in advance if there are any grammar mistakes:P)

Lux/Cait/Sera/Jinx/Gwen essay

(penta ship essay)

(lightcannon) It all started with lux/jinx it works for obvious reasons star guardian and you really got me going music video XD

(sonic boom) then there is Sera/jinx jinx has been through so much pain and trauma that she deserves love and affection but most importantly understanding. Sera didn't experience anything even close to what jinx has been through but she can feel what she feels and help her with understanding all those emotions. also jinx could build something for her to help with the noise and they probably would just build stuff together. Also they both kinda hear voices.

(pistolwhip) With Cait/jinx it depends on where they star as enemy's or strangers but no matter with one it is they just have a lot in common they always wanted to be understood, they where outcasts and only had one friend to relay on. Both of them like guns and at the beginning of the series powder just wanted to help, it didn't change it's just who she's helping and with what means.

Gwen/jinx is very similar to Sera/jinx Gwen can see people for what they really are not the masks they put on she help jinx with her emotions and she can also offer an escape, Because she travels so much she can take jinx to many places meet other people with similar problems like her's and sometimes just help her forget (even if just for a second) all the bad things that she's seen and done.

Now the others

(Shining star) Lux/Cait I like to think they know eachother not really well they talked on some party's but since they hate who they really are for the public image. But one day them and Jinx meet and Jinx just brings out the real them they see how beautiful the other is when honest and it helps being more honest with both themselves and others so they bond over that they can help eachother be more open show their true selves without fear because why care what people think when you have your loves

(laze show) Sera/Lux work really well even with the "lux is crazier" tag Sera did fall for jinx at this point it's a plus. Sera can help lux with all her bottled up emotions and her fear of her own magic while lux can help with Sera's so she has better control and it all can be a bit more quiet. Also their characters would just fit they would definitely lean on to earth other.

(sharp song) Sera/Cait is a interesting one because Cait is Sera's fan and would be freaking out at first but as they would get to know eachother she would be less fangirlie and as she was being more herself around her I think Sera would start to admire and maybe slowly fall in love with Cait's passion and drive to achieve her goals. And Cait loves Sera's determination, how she cares so much and how she knows to make a visible change between the people of Piltover and Zaun

Gwen was the hardest to tie to all of them and honestly only had a good one for Lux. I mostly worked of of voice lines and Gwen is kinda a bad bitch

(hollow note) Gwen/Sera "A stage, a voice, is that really all you are?" "A pretty voice, Seraphine. What a shame that's all you were." I will just ignored the second voice line cuz as I said Gwen really sees people for who they are so she knows that there is more to her then just her perfect idol

(golden thread) Gwen/lux just like with jinx Gwen sees lux's pain, fear and the way she hides who she really is. Gwen want's her to understand her pain and work on it instead of hiding it "You seem happy, Lux, but you know pain too. Why deny it?" "No running from pain, Lux. Next time, shine through it."

(royal blues) Gwen/Cait this is just an idea but maybe Gwen could help Cait not to break her back working, and that she should enjoy her life because there are wonderful things in it and she's missing that because her overwork (this is a suggestion from people on a discord server and I just loved it too much)

So that all was honestly expecting it to be longer XD stay healthy drink some water and have a good night or a nice day

I figured I'd let you know I've been listening to your rain world playlists on repeat for the past few weeks

it went something like this

"oh spotsupstuff has rain world playlists? that's neat, I'll check it out I guess" scrolling through em "mm yeah this are some pretty good songs ooh yeah I like that one wow they've got pretty good taste in music--" *notices favorite song about halfway through the playlist*

With practically every song on there I can be like "mhmm, yup, that's a Moon song right there" or "wow this song fits with general rain world vibes really well" or "damn that one's a little on the nose haha" or even "this song would work really really well as a rw animation. someone needs to turn this song into an animation... aw screw it I'll do it"

these three are supposed to describe the whole story at large, with The Nights being there cuz i'm plagued by the vision of Euros' last call to the group before he goes dark, along to a specific tiktok choir chain version of the song

intro songs for all of the characters that either namedrop them or describe them in a way. it's mainly the namedrops, but the first two belong to Zephyr because they are an inspiration for her character. Ptáčata (translating to young bird/fledgling) is for Sparrows, not only because of the very close namedrop, but also because the song describes her as a character very well n i REALLY wanna do a lil vid for her with that song

this song is specifically for Euros and Boreas

the first song here describes Fish's attitude and the second one belongs to his colony

this is AAAAAAAAAALL Notos songs

Euros theme song, The Song that Sparrows sings to Zephyr that makes her work on her perception of the Ancients (though the finished version is wonderful, the specific version that i've thought of being in that scene is this one), Rockabye is SUCH a Sparrows' mom song it makes me feral and Beer Fear is quite really connected to Sparrows' time in school just like Want to Feel Something, with that one being mainly sung by Euros with Sparrows sometimes chiming in

and This one is specifically for Boreas and Zephyr reuniting in the void, though the specific version i think of is This one

You were at Dylan’s show? How was it?

It was a good show - it lasted only 1h10 minutes which felt short. The venue was very nice, good sound and the lights production was really cool. The crowd was good, mostly young women but some couples and some parents (and a random middle-aged guy who came solo who was in front of me).

She was really excited to play and she has a lot of energy on stage. There's only a bassist and a drummer (and her on the guitar sometimes) - so she 's using backing tracks for some of the songs (the band doesn't do back vocals). On the first song it felt like the backing track was over taking her mic and I was like are you kidding? can she not sing?! but it was adjusted later (and maybe she was a bit more stressed on the first song).

She did a brand new song, and like her latest single (The Alibi) it's way more pop. Not guitar-driven at all. It was... different. So it's interesting to see if she's going the pop route (pulling a Harry as I called it!). The Alibi live was really good tho, it's catchy. The rest was pretty rock and banging.

She did a cover of Out of the Woods by TS with just her on the guitar and imo it was awful. Like I think people enjoyed it since they like to OG version but it was just... missing something? Also to me it's really weird to be covering TS when she's touring herself at the moment. The other cover was Unholy - but rock - and at the beginning I was very sceptical but it ended up being really good.

She was quite chatty but sometimes I didn't get what she was saying. In terms of stage presence, she's really good because you couldn't tell she was nervous (I think it was her biggest venue ever). It did feel a bit like a performance at times - and reminded me of Harry's first tour (and the drapping in pride flag + her HS song added to that). But then I'm thinking - it is a performance so maybe I should give her some slack (it's just the whole rock aesthetics/ persona from her IG is annoying me so much).

All in all, very happy I went to see her (even if it took me 90 minutes to go back home cuz apparently I can't take the bus in London lol). I would see her again when she has new material and/or in a bigger venue. This morning I had a song stuck in my head so I listened to her live album again. But in the future I wonder if in the middle of the day I'll be like hey I feel like listening to Dylan? Her songs are quite catchy from the melody but I find the lyrics a bit simple/ not memorable (or too easy).

I went to discover her live and have a good time and I did get that. I also was a bit 'analytical' with the show - and I find myself doing that most of the time now that I know more about touring.

As I posted, it also makes me miss Louis and AM gigs because I realize they are truly one of a kind. Louies are SO loud we never realize when we're at the show, but yeah you don't get that level of screams at other shows.

So if you have the chance to see her in the future, def do it's the tickets are affordable and you wanna have a good rock night out!

I'll be watching her career development!

I wanna ramble about my original work ocs... Bc its been a while since i talked/thought about them. Let alone drawn any of them.

So ill answer this with my original characters if that alright

i have a bunch of ocs. Many are still in drafts cuz ive been busy with fan works. But i have two to 3 series one i am trying to turn into an animation series (@the-mis-adventurers ) and another that is gonna be a collab comic series with @strawberry-mangoprincess (she's more active one her Insta compared to me lol) one is just merely a fun concept i think about every now and then.

Overall my ocs are inspired by other fictional characters. mainly from whatever media i consume and enjoy.

Starting with the concept one.

I only have two ocs made for it so far. Ember and Crystal. They are sisters with fire and ice elemental powers hence their names. Ember like fire embers and crystal like ice Crystals. Orphans dunno who there parents were. Not clear if their powers ran in the family/curse/etc.

Ember always had trouble controlling her powers especially with having a fiery temper. She's the more friendlier sibling however. Crystal despises her ice powers. She has an easier time hiding them so she can blend in with normal people. (I gotta draw them again sometime)

Crystal doesnt hate her sister but isn't close to her either. Feeling the need to take care of her since she's the last of kin.

And now for my (slightly) more thought out ocs from my wip series, the misadventurers

In a nutshell i want this series to be about the power of friendship (i blame my mlp phase for this-)

There's four main characters. All girls bc why not?

Their names are mink, jing, Raine and jennifer.

Mink is the more calm and responsible one out of her friends. Mom friend type. Her hair was actually blonde but turned pink to unknown reasons. (I took inspiration from lofi music when creating her) She proudly owns a pet turtle named fern. Will kick butt if her friends are hurt.

Jing is a goth who enjoys making music. she plans on startd her own band someday. (Eventually she does with her friends. Its called rock n pop. Pending title for now) has a rivalry with another oc of mines, Lillian. Loves to scare the others with pranks and horror movies.

Raine is the artist of the group. She tends to break the fourth wall whenever she wants. Also whatever she draws with her paint brush becomes real. her name is also a pun. Raine strom. (You can see her on my tumblr header harassing my old sona) Very zany in a good way. Has a crush on a dense boi*

Jennifer is a social butterfly. Heart's too big for her sleeve. Pacifist. Tends to let wild animals in the house. And thats how she got a pet goat who may or may not actually be one. Her mother wishes she'd be more responsible.

Now for some reccuring characters-

*Milo - Also known as peppermint boi/j. But seriously look at his color pallet-. He does enjoy mints and always passing one out to people. Very dense and doesn't get when he is getting on someone nerves. Just as zany as raine. Uber positive. Don't let him get too excited tho. Cuz he'll LITERALLY explode.

Cole - college drop out. Wonders why the haystack milo and raine won't leave him be. Also tends to be their third wheel on their 'not' dates. He hates it. Very moody. Legend has it he's never laughed or smiled before.

Derek - just some rich dude. Comes up with so many back stories like Horst from ratatouille so its hard to tell which is fake and what is real. Tries really hard for Jennifer to fall for him but doesn't work out.

I already rambled to you about max and min. Buttt I can tell you a it more about them at least about their absent/missing parents

Thymes (pronounced Times) and Divid are the twins and Equan’s Parents.

They are both scientists who worked for [REDACTED]. Thymes and Divid were both pretty much crazy but in a ‘not so dangerous’ type of way. always ready to invent stuff even if it held no actual purpose.

It did concern them greatly when Equan started going through a Frankenstein phase. At least they assumed it was. Probably didn’t help much they were pretty much working even at home leaving their kids pretty much unattended(And boy oh boy did they learn…)

And sadly disappeared due to unknown circumstances.

Hi! I liked Schmicago more cuz it also had a lot of my fav musicals referenced and I was more familiar with it like Sweeney Todd, Chicago, Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar and Pippin too. I also think the cast is good and had a lot of theater actors unlike most things and the songs all fit or made sense like a musical. I'm sad it got cancelled! I have not been keeping up with musicals as much but did see the casting of the other Gatsby I think and was wondering what you thought. Other than that, I've only seen snippets from new musicals so I have no idea, including the Jeremy one. Maybe I will go back into it at some point. I feel the same way about reading honestly and I hope to start again soon. I've just been busy for the last few months lol. Unfortunately I don't really have recommendations for anything cuz I've been focusing on Taylor instead.

So I was talking about the twenty one pilots concert haha but I did think about getting tickets to his tour cuz seeing Maisie would be a plus. I was surprised she was an opener for him. I really enjoyed the album which has a very 80s sound. I really enjoyed his song Found Heaven..its one of my favorite songs of the year so far!

I've only listened to the whole album with the anthology part like 3 times so far but my first impressions were that I really liked it! Like in the first few songs I was like whoa this isn't what I expected but then I also didn't know what to expect really. I had a hard time keeping up with lyrics and felt the first few songs felt like a lot for some reason. I also think my first impressions have changed a little already the more I listen to it and cuz I couldn't remember all the songs at that point. I was very surprised about the double album! There's always theories about a double album and it didn't make sense cuz we already knew about the bonus tracks. I hadn't even started the album at that point lol and couldn't play it more than once cuz it got late. But my favorites from the first 16 are the title track, although my prediction about it was off, Who's afraid of little old me, Guilty as Sin, and Fresh out the Slammer, which I thought would be one of my least favorites, but I love the way it sounds, and Down Bad. I also like I can do it with a broken heart and Fortnight a lot more cuz of the video. The anthology I expected it to be more like Folklore and it was in sound with somewhat more abstract lyrics. However I also thought it might be telling connected stories like Folklore with all the names which threw me off but I get it now. I was way off with that. My favorites on are I Hate it Here, How Did it End, The Prophecy and the Black Dog. So I predicted the Black Dog was gonna be one of my favorites, so I guess I was kinda right, except it wasn't what I thought it would be..like I don't think it was about depression the way I thought it would be. I also predicted there was something different to the bonus tracks having the that felt so different than other tracks and it was actually part of a different album! The Manuscript is one that I thought I would like but I had a really hard time understanding the song at first so I was disappointed. It's one that I like the message of the song more than the actual song. I made the mistake of reading other people's opinions and analysis which sometimes helps, like with that song, but sometimes it doesn't and I would want my own interpretations first. I also didn't have a lot of stand out absolute favorite songs on either part but I'm still getting used to it. It was more that I liked it all but some songs blended together too. I'm still not sure how the albums go together and I think it would be cool to hear her talk about how it all fits together. However my sister said she loved the second part a lot more and it had a lot of good lyrics. The album also didn't feel like any of her other albums to me either but I think I liked it more than I liked Midnights when I first heard that but also might have to grow on me too. I guess it's like rep and Folklore in a way but different than I thought it would be. It's a really honest album and she also plays more into a character on some songs. But Daddy I love him is an example and was also one that stuck out to me cuz it was kinda different than anything else on the album but I was so confused at first. I will keep you updated if I have new favorites or I notice other lyrics

Also I had no idea you were that sick and had Covid! I hope you recover and get plenty of rest cuz that sounds so awful! I hope the musicals are helping and you're enjoying the album. I'm pretty sure you're familiar with all of my favorite musicals already like Les Mis, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, Newsies, and West Side Story, but I will recommend Rent again which Aaron Tveit has sang songs from lol. I'm sorry if I forgot anything but I hope you feel better and have a good week!

hello!! happy friday 🤍 i am starting to feel a lot better (tested negative for covid yesterday, but still coughing a bit — it'll take me a while to get over it as it takes me a while to get over anything with my victorian child immune system/asthma/etc)! are you doing anything fun this weekend?

i am a terrible theatre person, and admittedly just watched sweeney todd yesterday. i watched the movie a few summers ago, but didn't really care for it/retain much, and so i finally sat down and watched a bootleg of it last night! very fun to see in hindsight, the schmicago references (although i did pick up on a fair amount of them). wondering if i should watch cabaret too — and then backtrack and watch brigadoon and then do a schmicadoon / schmicago rewatch to see how many more references i can spot! i have also never seen jesus christ superstar, or hair. oops? i wonder what season 3 could've been; i was talking to one of my best friends about it and i was like oh les schmiserables or into the schwoods would've been cute!

i'm SO excited for art gatsby; i was reading the interview with ben levi ross about how they've intentionally made nick gay, and i'm really really intrigued by it. and just everything about it. the casting, the creative team. i cannot wait to hear about it. i think i'm going to do a gatsby reread soon — i've been talking about doing it for ages, and all of this gatsby news has me itching to reread! i was reading the gatsby reviews last night and well... i am not surprised by them!

i have listened to aaron tveit sing one song glory (on his album) and i love his cover! i need to sit down and watch rent one of these days, but did laugh at you pointing out that aaron has been in rent because if something will get me to do anything ... it is that man. unfortunately. and i have been meaning to rewatch newsies (my beloved) 🤍 i think i am going to rewatch les mis soonnnnn and then go from there!

“Let Me Call You Sweetheart” - Breakdown of the “Let's Misbehave” Dance Scene from Heroes’ Journey

Cas, as it turned out, was lamp.

“Let Me Call You Sweetheart” - Gene Kelly's iconic mop dance. Of course the difference between Dean Winchester and Gene Kelly is that Gene Kelly got to use an umbrella.

oh boy guys - strap in cuz we’re going to get deep into Old. Gay. Musicals. One of these references foreshadows Cas showing up in Dean's heaven. If they did that on purpose then I'm ready to Misbehave. 👀

TBC - the Entire sequence is about Dean wanting what Garth has but didn’t realize he could have with another Man, or with Cas. That’s not up for debate in this post. There is a long history of characters 'coming out' in dance sequences, and I can not divorce this in my mind from the fact that Mac from Always Sunny, a character that had been closeted nearly as long as Dean Winchester, had recently come out in a dance number (x).

Instead I’m going deep dive on the chosen music and the dance references.

Let's Misbehave, Cole Porter, and Queercoded Innuendo

Let’s Misbehave was a gay anthem all about living outside the law written by Cole Porter, a gay man in a time when that was not a thing you were allowed to be. His work like I 'Loved Him (But He Didn't Love Me)' or 'I'm a Gigolo' ("a dash of lavender found next to a passionless dowager") is full of innuendo which is, in hindsight, extremely gay, but written ambiguously in ways that flew perfectly under the radar of censors at the time. His more famous musicals are still on Broadway regularly.

In order to change up the pacing of some of his shows, the songs have been switched around somewhat. “Let’s Misbehave” was actually written for the female lead in a show called Paris, where two characters who’ve been working together only now realize they are in love. I wonder whether people working on spn know that.

It was dropped from ‘Paris’ in favor of “Let’s Do It” (which the censors demanded be renamed, “Let’s Do It, Let’s Fall In Love” sure guys, you totally fixed it, GJ.) 35 years later it was added to the Second Act of the much more famous, “Anything Goes” where it joined songs with lines I know you will all enjoy such as “Baby, if I’m the bottom, You’re the Top.” More on Anything Goes at the end of the post. It's fun stuff, there's a lamp.

The Hays Office had a lot of issues with his titles, but ironically when they renamed works like ‘The Gay Divorce’ it became the infinitely funnier 'The Gay Divorcee'. Bigots not getting it: funny for 100 years and counting.

Dance Breakdown

Garth and Dean start dancing in white tuxes with straw hats and canes which could reference any number of B&W old movies. Dean is learning from Garth how to dance, copying him. Just like Fred Astaire's call and response solos in Top Hat White Tie and Tails which has this lil move. (This one is fun for the audio Astaire adds with the cane.)

then Dean goes to throw his cane and his partner is missing - he isn’t there.

Eright - now this part - this part I want to be wrong I really do. I really do. Now tell me this show is not referencing the one time Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire danced together when they have Dean and Garth dance together. TELL ME.

Because here’s the thing about this number.... the one time they danced together it was to the ‘The Babbitt And The Bromide’, a song where two men repeatedly meet, beat each other up, dance together in close embrace, and then separate for decades. “they both were solid citizens they both had been around” they spend their lives with their wives, and then they meet again in heaven ..... sigh.

“A harp each one was carrying and both were wearing wings, and this is what they sang as they kept strumming on the strings, You've grown a little stouter since i saw you last i think, Come up and see me sometime and we'll have a little drink” (x)

Gunna be honest. I had never once thought about the lyrics of this number before. So did the spn writers? Or were they just referencing the famous dancers? Because if it is on purpose, which is a BIG if, but if they thought about it and it's on purpose? ... Then it foreshadows Castiel in Dean's heaven in the finale. I'm going to keep going, but that is absolutely the headline.

(This is actually not the first time we've seen Dean do that little heel click move. It appeared in season 6 so Jensen has had it under his belt for awhile. I just enjoy that fact.)

There is Dean doing that dance without a partner by his side. So next Dean makes like Gene Kelly - and he finds one. See the Lamp vs Mop Gifs at the top of the post. That's Gene Kelly dancing with a mop to “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”, something we all know Dean Winchester never says and certainly has never called Castiel. (x)

When he’s done, Dean blows a kiss at the lamp and moves on with his dance reference tour. Dean taps up the stairs in a likely nod to Bill 'BoJangles' Robinson, the highest paid black actor or performer of his time, famous for his stair tap dance. (x)

Back to the history of ‘Let’s Misbehave’ for a second. In '72 it was used in the opening credits of the movie ‘Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)’. Then in '81 Christopher Walken strip tap danced to it on a pool table surrounded by women and photos of nude women until he revealed a giant tattoo of a heart on his chest in ‘Pennies from Heaven’ (x). So of course that's the very thing that Dean does. Well, the tap on the table, not the stripping.

The dance he does up there is almost a cross between a tap and a Charleston, the signature dances for the time and used in Anything Goes. It's also vaguely reminiscent of a dance Fred Astaire did in Swing Time that would only be called an homage to Robinson if we're being extremely generous to Fred Astaire.

Jensen ends on a sequence of tap I find extremely impressive at its speed for someone who only learned for this very dance, and I just want to recognize and give cred to it.

It's not specific enough choreography that I have placed it to any one dancer or dance yet, just presented with skill. I know there are more references & nods, including the little cane hop at the beginning, so if anyone picks more out I will be editing the post.

Anything Goes - keep reading

Like SPN, 'Anything Goes' a show that people think of as lighter fair, a guilty pleasure - pulp - not much meat there. It’s easy to digest for a general audience that isn’t reading too much into anything... but try telling that to the people analyzing it...

Anything Goes was the first successful Broadway musical comedy to build a story on two threads of pointed cultural satire, apparently. It was riske for the time. The show includes the “yes they really did put that on stage in 1927�� song lyric “If love affairs you like with young bears you like....” and yes, that meant the same thing then.

because I know this fandom, The show also includes the song “Blow Gabriel, Blow,” it’s all about sex, but is disguised as a religious hymn about the book of revelations, and it's set to Jazz [the devil’s music] and ‘is about’ praying to an archangel to blow his horn and bring the end times already, because we’re already living through the apocalypse: Enjoy some famous lines (x):

"I've been a sinner, I've been a scamp, But now I'm willin' to trim my lamp” ;

“Once I was headed for hell, Once I was headed for hell; But when I got to Satan's door I heard you blowin' on your horn once more, So I said, "Satan, farewell!"; & “'Cause I've gone through brimstone, And I've been through the fire, And I purged my soul, And my heart too, So climb up the mountaintop, And start to blow, Gabriel, blow”

Remind you of any boys we know?

So, like in any spn analysis, the question becomes, "What did they do on purpose and what was an accident?"

Did they purposefully pick a gay song by a gay man?

Did they know about the original intended plot of the song?

Do they know about the duel nature of Anything Goes?

Did they just pick random famous dance numbers to reference or did they pay attention to lyrics and subtext?

The episode was written by Andrew Dabb and directed by John Showalter, these questions keep coming up with the two of them. That being said, clearly the whole sequence was choreographed by someone else, and that someone else was Gordon Hart (x), who is, according to his instagram, married to a man. I don't know about you, but if that Babbit & the Bromide stuff is on purpose, I am also ready to Misbehave.

In this case Cas was quite literally Lamp.

lowkey can’t cook but she thinks she can because you hype her up too much

like she will serve you a dish that will somehow be both burnt and cold at the same time and you still tell her she did amazing because it makes her so happy and that’s all that matters

your guys’ favourite thing to make together is probably cupcakes or cakes

because you get to bake them and Heejin gets to decorate them, and they always end up looking and tasting immaculate

everything in your guys’ relationship works better when you’re together, you two simply complete each other :’)

Hyunjin:

not only does she make the most kickass bread but girlie really is a chef of all cuisines too

you still don’t know how or where she even learned to cook so well but you aren’t complaining at all

whatever you feel like eating, Hyunjin knows how to cook it to absolute perfection and she always offers to teach you how to make your favourite dishes

but she of course brings back plenty of wonderful bakes for her members to enjoy too, they're literally her babies she is can't just let them STARVE 😔🙄😢

you two work in harmony, always helping one another but never tripping over the other in the kitchen

makes pretty decent food when she’s not flailing around and panicking over a single grain of rice that escaped from the pot or something

however she refuses to admit when she messes up in the kitchen

like she could burn something to a crisp or use completely the wrong ingredients but she’d still eat every bite just to prove she’s the best cook in the house

if your food sucks she will tell you to your face, followed by a kiss so you forget about the fact she just roasted your cooking skills lol

Jinsoul:

Jinsoul gives off Hawaiian shirt drunk uncle at the family barbecue vibes who won't let anyone near the steaks

and you're like,, Jinsoul do you even know what you're doing????????? to which she responds - "food, heat, it's cooking. isn't that all i need to know?"

chaotic but refuses to acknowledge the chaos she causes in the kitchen

so when you have baking dates u have to keep such a close eye on her to make sure she isn't going to poison anyone with her creations

once she gets into it tho, she's grooving around the kitchen in her little robot apron, dancing to Christmas songs when it's not even Christmas and just 10/10 having a blast

not really the biggest fan of cooking but she knows you are, and since you help her build her gundams she does like to try and help our properly in the kitchen when she can

hello this sunshine absolutely LOVES baking, especially for others because putting a smile on someone's face is her main goal in life

she loves decorating with icing too, her go to patterns are smiley faces, flowers and the sun!

her playlists are always so upbeat, the two of you end up bouncing around the kitchen singing at the top of your lungs as you work

LOVES LOVES LOOOOOVES backhugs, especially recieving them,,, it makes her feel all worm and mushy inside hehe

also likes to kiss face icing off of your face, just to have an excuse to give you as many little pecks as she so desires

choerry always makes you a birthday cake every year, and she puts so much work into it, it absolutely melts your heart

plus it makes her happy to see you eating well and having a good time, she truly just is the biggest sweetheart :']

cooking with you actually really does make her happy though, she loves that she can be so domestic with you, it's such an amazing break from her hectic life

she doesn't suck at cooking, but has often times gotten,,, ahem,,,, somewhat distracted and has prioritized making out with you against the kitchen counter rather than how long the food has been cooking, which ends up in a lot of burnt meals

baking with her is really a time, and has more than once ended in a very messy food fight because Yves wouldn't stop smearing icing all over your face 💔

this baby girl is just torn between actually wanting to cook or just asking you to cook with her so she can get affection from you (as if she doesn't get that anyway smh)

Okay so I go throughout my everyday listening to music. I have playlists for EVERYTHING! And it got me wondering how would the boys react to an MC who constantly listens to music?

Lucifer

- I imagine Lucifer generally listens to classical music but I love the idea of him listening to jazz.

- Like big band/swing music

- Okay so for this scenario I imagine MC and Lucifer working on paperwork/school work together

- MC is loosing their mind cuz it’s so quiet and they put on a jazz playlist.

- Lucifer is shocked at first because he’s like what does this human know about jazz?! (✨yk just old people tings✨)

- But he starts to softly hum and tap his foot

- MC notices and queues up a few of their favorite songs and eventually starts to sing

- Lucifer loves the way MC sings along to their favorite songs but doesn’t wanna bring attention to it because he doesn’t want them to stop.

- As MC and him get closer he starts looking forward to their work/music sessions together.

- If MC catches him on a good day that doesn’t have a lot of work sometimes he’ll ask MC to dance 🥺❤️

Mammon

- Okay so I imagine Mammon really likes going on drives. The guy has a whole car in his room...you’re gonna tell me I’m wrong?

- ANYWAYS

- On these drives he likes to bring MC any chance he gets because it’s time with just them and no brothers to ruin it.

- MC really does enjoy these car rides because it reminds them of times in the human world when they would drive around with friends or family and just vibe.

- You best believe that because of this MC has a few car playlist full of vibey songs for any occasion.

- MC is the CEO of “can I have the AUX?”

- Mammon and MC feel like being in their feels? MC’s gotta playlist.

- Need a playlist to listen to while speeding down the highway pretending to be in Fast & Furious?

- I imagine that Levi wants to ask MC if he can have a manga or CD back and he over hears her jamming to one of his favorite anime openings

- But the song ends before he gets to MC’s room and THE TikTok song comes on and MC starts singing.

- You can’t tell me that Satan isn’t punk rock as hell

- HAVE YOU HEARD THE MUSIC TRACK THE DEVS PLAY WHEN THE STAGE IS WRATH?!

- I feel like this is where Lucifer and Satan differ, because Satan was most definitely an angsty, rebellious “teen”

- While his attitude isn’t as bad as it used to be his music taste hasn’t left

- But if Satan wanted some of the old stuff rest assured they have some classic rock on there too

- I think Satan would invite MC to his room whenever he felt like pissing Lucifer off to blast rock music thats on MC’s playlist

- This honestly sounds SO OOC but I like to imagine when Satan is with MC he would let loose a little and start singing/dancing along

- And the feeling MC would get when they see Satan singing along to one of their favorite bands?!

- Satan knows this and lives for their flustered reaction

Asmodeus

- Okay I don’t know if y’all know who Spencer is on tiktok, but he does this thing where he will put on music to make him feel sexy and get all dressed up and just walk towards the camera in slo-mo.

- And do I think Asmo would do that??

- Yes absolutely 😂

- I think Asmo would have a shared playlist with MC called “brb doin hot girl shit”

- Ashnikko is DEFINITELY on this playlist

- But it is just songs that MC and him play when the two wanna feel confident, when you’re both getting ready to go clubbing/partying, or whatever hot people do that they might need music for

- But also I think MC would have a winding down playlist

- This one is played when you’re both doing skin care, or getting ready to take a bath, or just general self care

- This maybe a little OOC but I like to think Asmo would love to hear MC sing the calmer playlist because of how peaceful it makes him feel

- Imagine that after a night of partying and you’re both getting your makeup/party clothes off and putting on face masks and just winding down

- And MC is in the bathroom just gracefully signing while doing whatever self care task they’re doing

- Asmo overhears and just loving/longingly stares at MC from his vanity or wherever he is

- I just think Asmo would appreciate the gentle moments MC and him share along with the rowdy ones 🥺

Beelzebub

- Would LOVE IT that MC listens to so much music

- He’s always at the gym or practice and would love to listen to MC’s playlist when he’s apart from them

- I do think that if MC went to the gym with Beel you two would have a shared playlist called “Gainz😩💪😤” or something goofy like that

- It’s full of high energy songs, that match how hard you two go at the gym(at least how hard Beel goes lol)

- Image that he asked MC to make him a special playlist so that he can listen to it right before his games/matches to motivate him 🥺

- It would remind him to do well for not only for himself, his team, or his brothers, but his lovely MC who he doesn’t ever wanna disappoint

- On the other hand when the two of you cook/bake together and there is music playing I think it would be cute if Beel danced with MC in the kitchen

- MC is the only thing that helps with his hunger, right?

- So image you two are cooking dinner listening to la festin from ratatouille or something similar

- And outta no where he grabs MC from behind, spins them and starts dancing with them

- I’m not saying it’s any good, but he’s trying because he knows how much MC enjoys listening to music and wants to show his appreciation

Belphegor

- Last but not least! Sleepy boi 🥺

- MC has lullabies for daysss

- Or those white noise/rain/ambience sounds

- It’s just a playlist that helps the two of you sleep

- Not that belphie would have issue with that

- At first Belphie kinda shrugged it off and was like “whatever thanks I guess..”

- But on the inside was so soft because omg MC thought to do this for me?!🥺

- Like I said he doesn’t really need it but loves that MC thought these sounds or soft tunes will help him sleep better

- After a while I think he grows to actually need it though so MC has to send him the playlist when they aren’t together

- The playlist not only helps Belphie sleep but I think sometimes Beel would ask for it too as he’s so used to hearing it

- I think the twins favorite thing on the playlist is the rain noises and the random soft instrumental tracks of modern songs

Following the Unknown

Okay, so sometime ago, I wrote something up about another soulmate au that was inspired from a dream I had (and for some reason I can’t find it in my archives...f* you Tumblr! And if anyone remembers what I’m talking about, think you can send me a link? Cuz I can’t find it QQ).

So the AU concept went something like this:

Some people know they have soulmates because they can hear their soulmate’s voice. If you’re lucky enough, you can actually see them, or rather their silhouette in the form of a swarm of leaves, that trail away once your soulmate stops talking to you. These leaves fly off and sometimes if you chase them, lead you to your soulmate. However, if they go on, that means that your soulmate isn’t close. Some people have feathers as guides, however, those who have seen these feathers and followed them are guaranteed to see their soulmates...but only at the brink of death. People dread to have feathers guide them to their soulmate, despite their gold color.

The only con of this soulmate bond is that only those with the bond can see the glowing white leaves, no one else can see the leaves but those with that type of bond.

And I haven’t touched the au until I was listening to Into the Unknown...

Damian stirred in his bed, a whisper ringing in his ears. Attempting to block them out, Damian wrapped his pillow over his head, his knuckles turning white as he did so.

Damian threw the pillow to the side, wincing at the voice that echoed within his head. Struggling to get up, Damian quickly drew out his sketchbook, flipping to the back of it. There, a meticulously set of dates were written and organized, a tip of a quill meeting the page, Damian writing down a new date.

Ever since his 16th birthday, he had been having these effects, a voice whispered to him.

It was soft, soothing, but annoying all at the same time.

Hello. It would whisper. Can you hear me?

I can hear you but I won't.

Of course he was able to. It bothered him to the ends of the Earth, causing him to become distracted at school and during patrols.

He regretted ever answering back to them after they kept trying to contact them for four solid months.

With that single response, he had been able to hear the voice clearer, causing the noise to grow stronger, something that Damian hated.

Because of it, his grades slowly slipped, but Damian had managed to keep them up. Patrol, however, was another story.

He kept getting a scolding from his father and brother, causing his mood to sour even more.

He already had a pretty shitty sleep schedule and the noise just made it worse.

He would awaken at random times during the middle of the night, ranging from one in the morning to four. He rarely got them at five and six, but nonetheless had them then as well.

Ignore your whispers which I wish would go away

Damian got back to bed, hoping to fall back to sleep as he heard the noise stay with him. Damian didn’t know when he had fallen asleep, but he did, nonetheless when the noise had whispered to him.

Sorry.

And the voice remained quiet for the remainder of the night.

“-and only one in every three million have this type of soulmate bond.” Damian paused the video, writing something down in his notepad, circling the new piece of information.

The Wind Bond.

A bond that those who had it describe it to be like a wind itself.

It caused you to hear the voice of your soulmate, ever so softly heard like a midsummer breeze.

The soulmate’s voice would only grow stronger if they were close by.

Those who had a romantic version of the bond would also see their soulmate’s silhouette in the form of leaves, scattering into the air if you managed to see it.

However, only the people with the bond were able to see and hear their soulmate.

It was also because of this that people called it the Wind Bond; many only faintly heard the voice of their soulmate and almost never got to ingrain the silhouette of their soulmate, causing them to lose all hope in ever seeing their soulmate.

It was hard to catch, hard to believe, just like the wind.

As Damian tapped in pencil against the table, the noise returned, Damian dropping his pencil to cradle his head.

You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ear.

With shaky hands, Damian reached for the headphones laying on his desk.

Damian paired them to his phone and put music to drown the noise, his shoulders relaxing when he could no longer hear it.

I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls.

Damian looked at what he had written, huffing at the paper.

Why would he ever believe in this?

Soulmates?

Damian ripped the paper and tossed them into his metal trash can. Seeing that all of the pieces were inside, Damian opened his desk drawer, rummaging through it until his hand found a small rectangular-like item.

Flicking the lighter, Damian took the final piece of his ‘research’ and lit it on fire, tossing it in with the rest, watching as smoke rose from the can.

Soulmates…

Why would he ever think he had one?

Even if he did have one, he shouldn’t care.

They were unnecessary, a hindrance to him…

At least his mother and grandfather told him.

As he watched the last ember die, Damian went back to studying, the ringing fading from his mind.

Damian’s eyes widened as his eyes caught the thing behind him.

He had just gotten past the manor’s gates when he heard someone call out to him.

Turning, Damian found a girl made of softly glowing bluebell leaves.

He watched as they soon scattered into the air, Damian taking a step forward before going into a sprint.

He had the Wind Bond. And the romantic type at that.

Romance…

Love…

Chasing…

Damian quickly came to a stop, watching as the leaves finally left his view.

I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you

Damian didn’t know for how long he was standing at where he was, but when he was done accepting what had happened to him, he let out a long deep sigh.

A soulmate, huh?

He would just have to try his best to ignore it.

Damian dug his nails into his hands, the noise coming back inside his head, and at the worst possible time.

What do you want?

He was busy trying to concentrate on the math problem in front of him, the clock ticking as his professor reminded the class of the time constraint.

“There’s ten minutes left!”

Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake?

Damian wanted to scoff at the answer, racking everything he learned to solve the integration before him. It was the only thing left, but for some reason he just couldn’t seem to figure it out.

Just breath.

He did.

Recheck your fourth to last step. That’s where-

“Five minutes!”

Damian quickly rescanned his work for the twentieth time, finally noticing where he had gone wrong. Reworking that step, Damian began to internally grin as he confidently finished the rest, smiling when he placed his pencil down and the professor called time.

Damian hated to admit it, but was glad to be able to hear her voice clearly this time around.

The bell rang, signaling the start of the next class, Damian quickly walking out to get to it.

“-I simply did what I had to do!” Damian yelled, a snarl present on his face.

“You endangered the civilians inside the building!” Dick yelled, throwing a glare at Bruce. “And you allowed him to-”

“It was necessary for the mission.” Bruce simply stated, walking out the cave, leaving Dick with his feelings.

“I thought you had changed B!” Dick yelled, grabbing his coat. “Seems like you haven’t.”

Damian watched as Dick left, wanting to call him back, but knew that he shouldn’t. Instead, he went off to his own room, heading straight to the shower to get rid of the sweat that made his shirt cling to his body as if it were a second skin.

As he stood under the steaming hot water, Damian pondered to himself.

While he always held his father in high regards, Damian struggled to follow his standards, finding himself to lean more towards Dick’s. Who was right? Who did he have to follow? To please? Who’s standard should he even begin to follow?

Neither.

But he had to.

But don’t you already have your own set?

He did.

Then follow it.

Damian pursed his lips, turning off the water.

Why should he follow his own instead of one laid out before him?

Because if you try to meet the standards someone placed for you, you’re going to burn out quicker. You will start to lose yourself. Believe me. I’ve been there and hated it. Every. Second.

Damian kept wondering about the words the voice told him, catching the resentment behind them.

Despite having lived under the same roof as his father and older brother for seven years, Damian could still measure the tension between themselves. The air was suffocating, made his breathing heavy and felt off.

They did mention having to choose a decision and regretting it.

They had been through it…

Was it when he told them to take the ring from the other person she was fighting with?

If so, were they once like him? Did they once have these unwanted thoughts? Thoughts of fleeing?

Damian shook his head, throwing himself onto his bed, Titus laying beside him.

As he laid in bed, Damian closed his eyes, replaying the day he stopped chasing the bluebell leaves.

Damian found himself reaching towards the ceiling, grabbing one of the leaves. He watched as the bluebell turned red before it slipped out of his hand.

Damian quickly chased after it, stopping as he reached the edge of the manor’s garden, watching as the red leaf turned bluebell once more and disappeared into the distance.

His hand reached out in an attempt to grab it again, despite knowing it was futile.

Marinette zoned out Chat’s voice, wondering what was going on. She swore she had heard someone call out to her, a smooth voice that sent chills down her spine. But despite that, she felt curiosity behind that whisper.

“-and who knows? We might find out that we’re actually-”

“Soulmate.”

“You mean soulmates.” Chat tried to correct, watching as Ladybug’s face pale. “Bugaboo. What-”

“My soulmate bond.” She whispered, feeling a lump in her throat. “I got my soulmate b-”

“Does that mean-!”

“No.” Ladybug said, sternly looking at Chat. “We’re not soulmates.”

“How are yo-”

“When I asked if you heard that, you said no.”

“And what does that-”

“My soulmate bond has to do with hearing each other’s voices. Our thoughts.” Ladybug watched as Chat’s smile dropped, his eyes turning dull. “You’re not my- Chaton!” Marinette yelled out as Chat ran away from her, using his baton to launch himself to who knows where.

Sighing, Marinette called off her transformation, Tikki flying up to Marinette’s cheek. “Why now? Why now of all times?”

“I wish I had the answer to that Marinette, but even we have no knowledge on how soulmate bonds are assigned and given. If we did-”

“I always wanted a soulmate bond.” Marinette confessed, Tikki giving her a small smile. “But to think I would get one right now, with Hawkmoth-”

“It’s going to be alright Marinette.” Tikki assured, snuggling closer. “It’s going to be alright, you’ll see.”

“I hope you’re right Tikki. I really hope you are right.” Marinette said, embracing Tikki in her own way.

Marinette had not heard back from her soulmate in a solid month, wondering what was going on.

Was it just a fluke?

“I don’t think so.” Tikki said, munching on a cookie. “While we may not know everything about soulmate bonding, we do know some basic principles. Using those, I’m pretty sure you have a soulmate bond. It’s just taking a while to settle into your life. Well, lives.”

Marinette sighed, placing her head on her desk, attempting to reconnect with her soulmate for the umpteenth time.

Months continued to pass, Marinette now dealing with a tantrum-throwing Chat and an unresponsive soulmate.

Yes, the soulmate bonding was supposed to be the least of her worries, but how can Marinette ignore the fact that she hadn’t heard from them in three months?

In attempts to push it to the back of her mind, Marinette focused on retrieving the cat miraculous from Chat.

Another month passed when a miracle occured.

Marinette was sick and tired of playing cat and mouse with Chat, promising herself to try this one last time before she officially gave up on taking back the cat miraculous.

They were once more fighting an appearance changing akuma, the akuma changing the appearance of any person they touched, Marinette doing everything in her power to avoid being touched. What should she do? She didn’t want to be a useless fish nor-

Take it when he gets hit by his opponent.

Marinette stiffed at those words, feeling as if he knew then from experience himself.

Marinette didn’t get a response, but stuck with their advice, watching for her opportunity to rise.

An hour later, there it was.

As she flung him out of harm’s way, she slipped the ring off of him, her eyes closed as she renounced his ownership of the ring and of Plagg.

A single tear slipped as he heard him scream at her. As he begged her to reconsider.

Ladybug simply ignored the growing guilt in her chest, but knew it was for the best.

With a final tug at her yo-yo, Ladybug took down the akuma and prepared herself to be the hero Paris truly needed.

Back at home, Marinette hugged her pillow, crying her heart out as she started to doubt her decision from earlier that day.

A month had passed since that day, Marinette slumping into her bed as she de transformed. Plagg and Tikki quickly checked on their Guardian before going off to replenish their own energy.

With a heavy sigh, Marinette threw her arm over her forehead, feeling the tension in it.

Hawkmoth was still out there, searching for her, using all her allies against her. All but two.

Rena Rouge has the first out.

Then Carapace.

Lady Guêpe was forced to resign.

Then Chat Noir.

Ryuuko and Viperion remained, but at what cost?

But she couldn’t keep burdening them with her duties, with her life.

The trio were the only ones to protect Paris, although it was majorly Lady Chat in the scene.

Announcing to Paris that Chat was no longer going to aid with the defeat of Hawkmoth ended up turning for the worst, half of Paris wondering why Ladybug would ever do such a thing.

Why would she ever let Chat go when she needed him the most?

She ignored them, knowing it was for the greater good. She knew that what she did was necessary.

She wasn’t going to allow Chat to continue to corrupt Plagg, even Viperion and Ryuuko agreed with her.

And yes, she did always meet up with them...in their slightly hidden civilian forms.

While the previous guardian told her the importance of keeping their identities, Marinette’s morality began to waver.

If they wanted any chance of defeating Hawkmoth, they needed more trust with each other.

Yes, they can potentially leak out each other’s identities if akumatized, but she was willing to risk it.

So with Ryuuko and Viperion’s help, Ladybug sought a way to take down the enemy, once and for all.

Marinette’s thoughts soon became muddled, equations blurring into her mind.

She sat there, cradling her mind as math flooded her head, a concerned Tikki rushing to her.

They are rushing it.

They had to use substitution there, not the answer they got in the first part.

What do you want?

Are you here to distract me?

No.

Just breath.

Recheck your fourth to last step. That’s where-

The voice faded, becoming a soothing hum. Mari felt as her shoulders relaxed, only then noticing she had then square and tense.

She decided to sit up, eyeing her sketchbook.

When was the last time she opened it?

Just as she turned to a clean page, Marinette started to sketch, writing the word red at the side.

That’s when she heard her soulmate say something she thought they were never going to say to her.

Giddiness filled her imagination, Marinette got to designing, Plagg and Tikki smiling as they watched her emerge herself into her work.

Marinette placed a final pin into her alterations when her head began to angrily hum.

Who’s standard should I follow?

Marinette wondered what was going on with her soulmate that made them question and doubt the morality standards around them. But if she went off experience…

Neither.

But I have to choose a side.

Then follow them.

Why can’t I just choose one of the ones laid before me?

Because if you keep trying to choose one of them, you’re going to burn out. You’re going to lose yourself. And you’ll hate it. Every. Second. That passes.

Marinette began to panic when she didn’t hear anything said back, looking at Tikki for some type of explanation.

Tikki simply looked at her with sad eyes while Plagg purred against Marinette’s cheek, Marinette deflating upon not getting an answer to her situation.

The voice asked, Damian debating on whether to answer it.

Because, no. He couldn’t feel them, but certainly did feel their emotions

He had been for the past half year.

And he knew that whoever they were, they were either a hero or vigilante.

He was able to clearly feel their emotions and hear their thoughts when they finally defeated someone called Hawkmoth.

He had tried to ask them who it was, but they never responded, quickly changing the subject.

Mostly about their upcoming schedule.

Something about having to make a dress for some event they were invited to.

He remembers telling them about him being in the same boat, having to get his measurements taken for a new suit for the gala.

Can you show me?

Their bond only allowed them to hear each other.

And our silhouettes. They added.

“Master Damian, there you are.” Alfred spoke, Damian looking over at his grandfather (not that he would ever say it out loud).

“Is this about the gala? I presume Father wants me to do something for him.”

“More like remind you of how-“

“I won’t let some random harlots try to seduce me.” Damian stated firmly, picking up Alfred the cat. “They can try, but I will not waver.”

Alfred let a smile out, giving a few words for thought before leaving.

Damian sighed, going back to his conversation. Or at least attempted.

He tried to say something to his soulmate, but never got a response…

Not even as he tried to talk to her for the next few weeks.

Marinette stood by the punch bowl, watching as everyone around her talked like old time friends, chatting away into the night.

She rubbed her hands against her bare arms, wondering why someone like her was even at the Wayne Gala.

Oh right. She was personally invited because of her other identity: M.

M - the mysterious designer that had taken the fashion world upside down with their presence and style.

Marinette sighed, taking her glass of champagne and walking towards the balcony, not a single set of eyes following her crystal embedded red dress that stood out like a sore thumb.

Leaning against the stone railing, Marinette huffed, twirling the glass between her fingers, watching as the champagne sizzled as it swirled.

Finding herself bored, Marinette hummed to herself, wishing she was still able to talk to her soulmate.

Ever since that night a few weeks ago, she hadn’t been able to contact them, even Tikki growing worried as to why it was happening.

Marinette missed talking to them, even if their relationship did start on the wrong foot.

She missed them...dearly.

As Marinette continued to hum to herself, something caught her attention; a single emerald glowing leaf flew into her line of sight, her breath hitching.

It continued to fly away, into the hall in which the gala was taking place.

Where are you going? Don't leave me alone

Without a second thought, Marinette quickly followed it, not caring about the stares she was gathering as she pushed her way through the crowds.

She stumbled a bit as she saw the butterfly take a corner, almost losing it in the process.

Marinette quickly called out Kaalki, giving out an order to bring Mullo to her.

As soon as she had made it out into the open, Mullo quickly joined Marinette into the chase, multiplying to help with the search.

Marinette’s heart beat louder and stronger as she watched the butterfly begin to pulse brighter than ever before, a smile growing unbeknownst to Mari.

The joy died done when the butterfly stopped going, hovering in the middle of the garden which Mari found herself at.

Finally having a moment to breath, Marinette looked around herself, hedges and rows of flora surrounded her, shades of camellias encircling her. In the distance, she noticed some blue salvias, the tips peeking from under bushes.

Why was she brought here?

Here of all places?

Her thoughts were broken when she heard a pair of shoes click their way towards her, Marinette watching as the shadowed figure became another person.

When their eyes met, a group of leaves burst around them, the soft bluebell mingled with the emerald ones, dancing around each other.

“So you’re my soulmate.” He started, Marinette wondering how he wasn’t breaking a sweat in the layers of formal attire. She also couldn’t help but notice that his suit had kevlar integrated.

“I must be if the leaves guided us to one another.” Marinette responded, wondering what to do next.

The two looked at each other, wondering who was going to take the next step when the man broke into a smile.

“Damian. My name's Damian Wayne.”

“Marinette.” She followed. “Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I’m glad I found you, Damian.”

She really was.

She was happy to have followed the wind bond into the unknown.

Epilogue/Bonus:

Dick watched as Damian ran through the crowds in the gala.

“Damian! Where-“

“Somewhere!” Damian yelled, peaking Dick’s curiosity.

Dick waited until he saw him leave the hall before tailing him, having to pick up the pace when he almost lost sight of the boy a few times.

Dick wondered where exactly Damian was running off to, worry growing stronger when they had left the manor and were running into the garden.

He quickly tumbled into a hedge when he watched Damian slow down, following his gaze.

There, a few meters away, was a small stature girl with the most captivating red dress. The off-shoulder dress perfected fitted the girl’s small frame, Dick watching with the utmost glee as he saw Damian approach the girl.

Just as the two were three feet apart, Dick watched as a kaleidoscope of butterflies burst around them, leaving Dick starstruck.

He’d always heard of the wind bond, some of his friends telling him they had it. But this was the first time he’s ever seen it, let alone seen actual soulmates-

Soulmates…

HIS BROTHER HAD A SOULMATE AND NEVER TOLD HIM?!

Filled with hurt, Dick curled into a ball and stayed there in shock.

“Grayson. How long do you plan on staying there?”

Dick raised his head, watching how Damian attempted to keep a smile in check while his soulmate was wrapped around his arm. “Come on, the gala’s about to end. I need to make an announcement as it does.”

It took a quick second for Dick to figure out what he had meant by that.

“Damian! Don’t you dare-“

“Watch me.” Damian said with a grin, watching as the girl looked at Dick in confusion as Damian led her back inside.

Dick, however, didn't make it in time to warn their father, watching as Damian announced to the world about his soulmate… right as his own father was going to propose to Selina on live.

“That idiot.” Dick muttered, a smile still on his face as he watched Damian glow alongside his newfound love.

So that's the outift im SORRY it's all black but i wore it recently and i rlly liked it so it's the first thing that came to mind

Totally unrelated to the event but this is the pair of shoes I'm wearing in that outfit and I'm in Love with them probably my fav pair shoes

So uh yea these ^ shoes with black pants, a white tshirt with a printed tie tucked into the pants, and a black denim jacket over top. Also a black knitted belt. I always wear those bracelets and like, a normal watch.

Ah personailty. I'm that generally nice guy that noone rlly has any beef with but who's not like, one of the popular kids uk? Not very talkative but that's only around new people. In contrast, I'm probably the most talkative one within my friend group lol.

I LOVE reading I've loved it ever since i was a toddler. I don't have a fav genre, as a kid i would read literally anything, from encyclopdias to kids books to classics to even this one big book about herbal medicine that i read for some reason? I don't even remember what was in it but it was rlly cool.

I have a system where my tbr list doubles as my book ranking list. My highest ranked books tend to be those that make me cry a Lot. So books like The Song Of Achilles, aaddtsotu, No 6, Circe, A Thousand Boy Kisses.

I'm a hoe for animation, and I don't watch live action movies/series alot. When i was younger it was disney pixar etc and now I watch anime. I still love disney pixar movies tho, and im always down to watch a classic like Mulan or newer movies like Luca or Encanto (three of my favourite films of all time btw). I prefer animation to live action because it has this sense of wonder and fantasy and excitement that you can't replicate with live action, and that's what i rlly enjoy abt it.

I loove music, i play the uke guitar and piano, tho I'm not Amazing at any of them. My fav artist is Taylor Swift. I don't support Celebrity Stan culture and I don't follow her life too intensely, i just find out stuff by filtration from my mutuals/friends lol. That being said, i think Taylor is so incredibly talented and her music never ever fails to make me feel a whole slew of emotions.

I also have adhd and it messes w my life in some ways, makes it more interesting in other ways. I Cannot hold a topic I go on multiple tangents, i have the short term memory capacity of a spoon, i cannot sit still and am always fidgeting , I'm hypersensitive to sudden sounds, but im also unable to function in total silence. School was weird cuz I'd never be able to pay attention in class or while studying normally but sometimes I'd hyperfixate on my studies for hours on end and so I'd do fairly well anyway.

I'm bisexual grayro! I'm aromantic in the sense that I don't feel romantic attraction, but i still wanna be in a romantic relationship someday (btw I am taking this event date as romantic not platonic). I'm also into boys girls and anything else, although i have a preference for guys.

I love being alone and left to do my own thing, but i hate feeling lonely or isolated. Which is smn my friends understand, so we don't talk a whole lot, but whenever we do it's so refreshing and the love between us is so palpable uk?

I watch documentaries in my free time! I especially love ones about history, which is one of my favourite subjects. I'm not TOO interested in war history, although its important and just as significant. I'm more interested in the development of society through the ages and the small quiet revolutions that made the world what we know today.

Television Heaven // Rafe Cameron

Summary: As the each day passes, you fall for Rafe Cameron solemnly and irretrievably.

A/N: This song made me think of Rafe. Actually, I was thinking of Rafe then I started to listen to this one. Anyway, I was planning on something different but it got out of control. So it has really nothing to do with the song. Hope you enjoy anyway.

It might contain grammar and spelling mistakes cuz it's not my native language.

Every move you made, you made after long considerations, with caution. You questioned every little detail, calculating every probable outcome so strictly, sometimes you end up missing the chance to carry it into action. Just because you didn't want to find yourself in a situation that would make you embarrass and hurt yourself or just would make you feel something, you always choose the right and short way to do things. The logical one but the one no flowers grow. You held yourself back when you encountered with something so beautiful that may change your life, you just refused it, ignored it because you wouldn't know what to do with it. You ran away from anything in sight that may make you an idiot for doing it or make you weak, helpless; therefore you stayed away from anything unsolvable, complicated even. You didn't know everytime you ran away, you come closer the edge of falling apart. You've lived your life so guardedly, you've actually never lived. You come to understand that you never made any effect on your life, never pushed the buttons of the controlling panel of your life although you always tried to keep everything on your control. You didn't make things happened, things only happened to you. The day you became aware of this ugly truth, you also discovered a hole inside you. A hole which you use to suffocate any heavy, intense sensation you might feel. Now, it was the one taking control of you.

Lately, everyone around you was able to notice that something's wrong with you. Changed, you looked like you were fading away. You were disappearing more and more, the each day you realize the things you didn't do or things you wanted to say but never said. Because any time you don't say what you wanna say, you die a little. And you died very. Reminiscing the moments you stole from yourself pushed you an edge and you were standing the very edge, unsteady. One day you lose your balance, you start falling and you've been falling since.

The strong liquor on your lips never dried, you kept sipping one after another. You were never drunk on life before, you might actually get drunk at least. You were tired of filling your glass constantly, you left the glass on Camerons' table and head for the bottle.

"Are you okay?" Kiara asks hesitantly. She noticed something was off recently but she didn't think it will last this long. Normally nothing would affect you so long. But now, something in your eyes was missing and she didn't know what was it. She wanted to help you but didn't know how because you never needed any help before.

"Yeah, " you smiled to her slightly so she could see you can still do it and it was okay. The problem was your lips and your eyes didn't match. "You?"

She just nodded as an answer but the suspicions she had was still there. She didn't want you to be alone so when you refused to hang out at the beach with the rest of the gang, she came with you to the kitchen. But you knew, she wanted to be out there so you should gett her off the hook.

"Hey, " you said to draw her attention. "Let's head outside. I am bored here sitting."

"You sure?" She asked. "You wanted to come inside?"

You smiled, forcibly, lately every smile you gave was like that. "Yes. It turned out to be a bad idea. "

"Okay, " she said when she got up, you had to also. She was ready to walk away before you stopped her. "I'm going to hit the bathroom first. You go. "

She looked at you unsurely. "I'll wait."

You laughed, you were a little lightheaded from standing up swiftly but you didn't drink enough to get drunk yet. But she thought you were. You wished you were too. "I can pee just okay without you waiting, Kie. Tell them I'm coming and determined to drink whatever out there."

Eventually, she ended up leaving you and as soon as she was gone, you let yourself fall on the sofa again. You just needed few minutes before you head outside.

The Pogues have started becoming the huge part of your life not so long ago. You think the awareness hit you just after you met them because they were the most animated people you've met. They were full of spirit although some of their lives weren't always bed of roses, still they managed the find attraction and beauty in other things. You admired them before, now you envied.

The cold hit you as soon as you stepped outside but you liked feeling the breeze on your bare arms. The cold was all you feel anyway. You knew exactly where your friends at, before worrying Kiara any longer, you made your way to them before you saw of a guy that one beer bottle in his hand and the other hand in his pocket. Watching your friend from afar. You pushed the urge of considering if you should go near him or not. You were going because you didn't go so many times before.

"Hey, " you let him know of your arrival. His upper body moves to face you only to see you looking at him with your unfinished bottle on your hand. He turned back to keep watching his sister and the junk she brought along with her. He never ever liked them and he never will but he had to behave because his father told him to. Rafe could only behave himself to a certain extent. He tried to stop himself making their life like hell but failed so many times that you forgot how many times you had to stop himself from hurting your new friends. He was mad at Sarah bringing them into your lives and he was mad at you for joining in this quest and defying him about this matter. You knew Rafe felt like the Pogues were the ones blame for everything that goes wrong in his life and almost anything he does and and he has goes wrong. Yet he was almost sure they were guilty of everything that happened. He had a temper and an addiction that makes it worse. He was confused and lost in so many ways, he was all over the place. Regarding the fact he wants do right by his family, friends and by you, he always and always ends up doing the worst of there is. Rafe's choices was never right and until that moment, you couldn't picture yourself being jealous of him because still, he had a say in what he had done with his life. The kind of life you regret having maybe, however with the pills mostly, he thinks nobody has it right but him.

Rafe was angry at his father, at himself and at you. He was angry at everything. He no longer knew what has left for him anymore. He has never received anything from his father but the disappointment he caused him. The things used to be his now was taken over by others. His part of the island, his so called values, his friends even and you too. Rafe knew you for so long although you were almost distant with everybody, you shared a huge deal of time together. Mostly because you had close family relationships and Kooks hanged out together all the time until his little sister violates that rule.

"Your new friends turned you into an alcoholic, huh?"

He said coldly as possible, still bitter about you stood between him and JJ Maybank and chose him over him. Well, he didn't expect you to be on his side because you would never. You had principles or some kind of shit he lacks, however he didn't expect you to be on his side too.

"My oldest friends couldn't turn me into an crackhead, I thought I might as well try this one." You said, trying to sound as cold as him but you couldn't make it last so long. "You look like you hadn't drown yourself in snow."

He faced you. "Yet."

You smiled looking at the ground and it was a real one. Rafe was frustrated to so many and sometimes to you but you like to talk to him sometimes. All the time, probably. You didn't know exact amount because you started avoiding being around him for too long after sometime in your life. Because you felt your heart pounding in your chest in a way that so weird as he talks to you and looks at you a little too long. You couldn't take the risk of acknowledging that feeling and letting it grow.

"No lectures about how I shouldn't do it?" Rafe asked you surprisedly. Because he wouldn't hear the end of it generally.

"Would you take them seriously?" You said. Somehow, you felt like grinning like a idiot and you didn't stop yourself from doing it. You asked him, one brow lifted up, playfully. Not like the times you fake being playfull. For real.

As you talk to him, he was about to forget he was mad at you. He grinned at your way. "Nah."

And the way he smiled it was so deadly, but he felt so heavenly just like that.

"You see, I've learned my lessons." You say to him and he just shrugges.

Rafe wasn't the type to approach people with an passive aggressive attitude. He would go with full active. But tonight, what he felt the most was so sickening feeling like sorrow but not, destructive one like hatred which he usually feels most. Therefore he looked calmer outside but the war was going inside his mind and his chest. Yeah sometimes even he had one of those melancholic days.

You felt uneasy as he wasn't even looking at your way to answer. It was like you didn't get what you came here for. He just stood there, making you wondering what he was thinking of at the moment.

Your eyes caught JJ, looking worried as his eyes searched for you in the crowd then they found you. He paced towards to you, seeing Rafe, he thought you might need to be saved from him. "Hey, where've you been?" He asked you after he sent brief glares to Rafe and he recieved the same ones in return. "We were waiting for you."

Rafe felt so regarded before by everyone else, he knew you would have gone. Again.

"You coming?" JJ had to ask as you didn't say anything.

"I think I'll stay here for now. " You sounded so clear that although Rafe was surprised that you wanted to stay, he didn't think he heard you wrong.

"Are you sure?" He said and couldn't stop himself from looking at Rafe. Rafe hated that look and the way he was being protective of you like he would hurt you.

"She said she'll stay, didn't she? Beat it."

JJ turned to Rafe, his jaw clenching in anger. "I don't remember talking to you man. " He sounded hostile as possible.

As Rafe took a step towards to him, JJ was also ready to pick up another fight so he didn't hold himself back.

"Hey, hey!" You had to step in and pushed them away from each other but it was hard because they were always so willing to beat each other up.

"I'm tired of doing this again and again. " You left your hand on Rafe's chest but didn't move the one on JJ's, the one also holding the bottle. He didn't have much common sense either but still was better than Rafe. "I'm sorry to ditch you guys but I need to talk to Rafe."

JJ had seconds thoughts but he left you eventually. Rafe went back to being silent and didn't even ask you what was you wanted to talk him although he wondered.

"You had to be the alpha, didn't you?" You asked just to hear him answering.

"This is my house, I am the fucking alpha here." He spits nearly. He tried his everything to not make a scene but it was a hard battle he had fought inside. You couldn't keep your eyes off of him, the way he's so annoyingly silent and the way he looks so mad but hurt at the same time was confusing you. You couldn't know you either hate him or hug him so tightly that he should never feel broken again. You knew all he did, he did it to make everyone around you to love him.

"Are you angry with me?"

"Is this what you wanted talk about?" He stares at you, answering your question bothers him so he doesn't.

"No." You said. No use of him confirming his anger, it was obvious.

"Just cut the to chase then. Your boyfriend waits for you."

You reached for the cup in his hands and it took him by surprise. "He's not my boyfriend." You said as his eyes widened by the sudden move from you, trailed your hand until you threw the cup to the ground. Then they turned to see your expression to figure out what you up to. You were a little too close.

"What are you doing?" He asked slightly angrily, slightly astonishedly. His pink, soft lips moved so beautifully, you had hard times focusing on his eyes.

"I want you to be sober for this."

You smiled as you grabbed his hand that held the cup the seconds ago. He was baffled by your soft touch, something was different about you tonight.

You pulled him with you and he didn't move at first as he tried to make sense of what you are doing. This was as strange to him as it was to you because your remember how many times you avoided being close to him. When you were talking to him casually or you were fighting with him, you felt so uncomfortable when you get too close to him. He was like this stunning and mesmerizing thing you felt his energy all over you but if you touched him or stay too close, you would get burned. How many times you wanted to hug him, hold his hand, pat his shoulders but you just didn't...

"What are you doing?" He asked, you had a loose grip on his hand and as you two moved swiftly, he was scared that it might break off. "Where are we going Y/N?"

"Be patient just for once."

And he had to be, however he never liked not knowing what's coming for him.

"Are you drunk?" Rafe said as soon as you stopped in front of him, making it to your destination. His eyes wandered around the balcony to see If there's something he sould notice but he's missing. But there were only you and him.

You rolled at your eyes the fact everyone's assuming you're drunk when you never felt so sober and wide awake before until now.

"No, Rafe. I am not." You even left your bottle at the beach.

"Why did you bring me here?"

You had to let go of his hands but your eyes never left his face. There was something with him that you could never understand before. You look at him and never want to see anything else. You could watch him for hours and days and still wouldn't want to look away. How foolish you would sound if you said these out loud.

Rafe waited for an answer but all you did was stare at him blankly.

"Why are you being weird Y/N? You high?"

You walked towards to the edge and left him behind you but turned away to see him, leaning back on the parapets. You had this idiotic smile on your face that just can't go away when you see him. You kept it hidden all this time but no longer fight the feeling.

"No. I am not drunk. I am not high. How many times I have to repeat myself?" You didn't sound sarcastic or angry, on the contrary Rafe found your tone extremely cheerful and it left more confused with the the situation.

"But you don't seem that way. " He admitted. The girl he knows was earnest, restrained and would do what what expected from her. It was annoying to him time to time because you were perfect example people-his father- gives when how he should be like. You were decent and kind, type of person who knows what to say to the people older than you. You were more relaxed and fun when you were with close friends. He liked that you could do it many ways but he always found you hard to get to. You would only let people in -or only him to the some point and would just go ice after that point. You were sharp with your words too If you wanted to and would know where to hurt when you want to hurt somebody but you only did to him once or twice. Probably they were the only times you actually went so cruel with anybody and Rafe was the only person could enrage anyone despite of how calm this person is. Rafe thought you had a side that you kept in secret and he was aware and impressed by that.

Now, you stood there, your hands on the parapets and your head tilted to your side with a small smile on the corner of your lips. You didn't look that weird but the energy you radiate was most peculiar.

He looked up and down. "You seem different."

The way he sound was like a melody. "How come?"

He only shrugged his shoulders and watched you giggle, breaking the silent night with it. You didn't know why you did it, it just got out of you.

Rafe took a step towards you, his eyes squinted with worry. "Are you okay?"

"Oh my God, could you just stop it? I am fine Rafe. "

"Then speak. Why did you bring me here? You're acting insane as fuck." He was impatient now and you were a little upset he thinks you are insane. So being out of your character just for a night and even he thinks you're insane. Your mood was spoiled.

"You can leave If you want. I didn't bring you here to fight. "

You sounded hurt and he couldn't comprehend how did you get too sensitive. You would scream at each other and you wouldn't even fling.

"Okay," he said to ease the tension. "Just tell me why are we here."

His words didn't bring your cheerful attitude back but you still continued. "Do you remember the summer two years ago? You and Sarah stayed here when Rose and your dad went to Caribbean's along with Wheezie?"

Rafe nodded slowly, wondering about why the hell you were bringing this up. "Yeah, we threw the biggest party this island has ever seen." He said little proud with himself.

He hoped the way he chuckles would make you all giggly again but you kept a straight face.

"It had started as fancy party at first. Sarah and I really wanted it to be like Midsummers because we wanted to feel like grownups in our fancy clothes." You smiled softly with remembering all of this. "And Topper was down with the idea because he wanted attention from Sarah. We even convinced you to it."

"And I remember we end up trashing the house at the end of the night though. "

"It was a mess." you said with a small smile that was gone so quickly. You approached to him slowly, with a serious look on your face that finally resembles to your normal self. "Do you remember you put on your dad's tuxedo and it was short for you because you became a giant that year?"

Rafe nodded firmly he was nervous of your serious expression. Now, you were only a step ahead of him and you were searching for something in him that he had no idea what. "I do." He brows squinted. "I had to take it off."

" You put on your ball cap when everyone wore a bow-tie." You smiled sadly, when you remember it hurt how good he looked that night. You'd remember him like that way forever.

"You were too drunk that night. I don't think you remember and it probably didn't matter to you," you cleaned your lips with your tongue. "We were here, alone, and you told me I looked beautiful in my sundress that night."

You felt a warn sensation on your cheek and your vision got blurred before you realize you are crying. You didn't know why because you finally felt so relieved you got this out of your chest. "And I couldn't forget that moment how much I tried to. "

Tears kept falling from your eyes, not matter how hard you tried to keep them in. You were tired from deceiving yourself about Rafe and pretending like you don't feel the way you do. Keeping this hidden from him and yourself. And you hated that you're crying and being so emotional and vulnerable now.

You wiped the tears and able to stop yourself although when you finally managed to look at Rafe, your vision wasn't all clear.

He looked at you as If you are not real. When you didn't get any reaction from Rafe, you were ready to drown yourself in bottles. You couldn't believe how stupid and naive you became in a week. This was the reason you never told him. This was the situation you didn't want to put yourself in. Just like that, a tear warmed your cheek again.

Rafe reached for your cheek, cupped it in his hand hesitantly. His heart shattered when you cried. And it was because of him. His hands left you naked, staring at him and wishing you were dead.

"How can you like me?" He asked, the words didn't almost make it out of his mouth and you weren't able to see his blurry blue eyes because of your own.

You cried a little more to his words. It hurt you how he thought he was unlovable. Yes he was mean, confused and a total mess but he was so much more. Maybe he didn't knew what to say or what to do all the time, maybe everything he did was wrong but he had good intentions. He was damaged and wounded by so many places. He was chaotic, problematic and it was probably wrong to mant to like him. Yes it was hard to love him but you did love him with every inch of your body and soul. You put your hand on his cheek and his skin underneath your palm was the smoothest things you ever touched before.

"You're beautiful, Rafe." You said and you just didn't know how to explain the way you feel. It was too much, too powerful.

"No." He stepped back, shaking his head side to side. He just couldn't believe you. You... of all people, knew how bitter he is and liked him? You were amazing and breathtaking in so many ways, you could do so much more and deserve so much better. And he was wretched soul, not even his father loved him. How could you possibly do?

"Don't fuck with me, okay?" He was angry at you playing with his mind like this. You were being cruel again, hitting where it hurts. "You don't." He said it like it is impossible for someone to love him because somehow, it was for everybody around him.

"I do."

He looked at you like you committed an unspeakable crime. Like you were trying to deceive him into that he has what he always seeked for. "Don't fucking lie to me. You don't." He said and a tear fell from his eyes. "You.." he had to take a deep breath to continue. You... A creation that is above him. "You can't."

If he only knew how he made you feel. If he knew how many times you pushed back the thoughts of him when they suddenly came to you and made your days unbearable. How you convinced yourself that he doesn't mean anything to you and felt sick in your stomach when you saw him with another girl and wished it was you instead. He had a possession in your heart without his knowledge and today was the day that part declared its freedom.

"But I do, Rafe. I spent so much thinking that it's nothing, thinking it is wrong, but I just do. I don't care if it is anymore, Rafe. I always tried to do what's right, it got me nowhere. If this is wrong, then I don't wanna be right."

You brushed his hair back and he was breathing heavily in your face. "Don't push me away." You whispered. "Please."

"I might never be this brave again." You kissed him, slowly made your lips as one. His skin burned you when his lips felt like heaven. When he gently kissed you back, you felt like nothing in this world could make you feel better than this.

Although you needed him more than the air your lungs lacked, you had to pull away. Your breaths melded with each other and now you got a taste of it, you didn't want to stop. Your lips once more was intertwined with his and they danced softly on yours. As your movements became more passionate, he followed you replacing his hands on both of your cheeks and pushing himself closer to you as if that was even an option, If it were, you'd do it sooner.

You wanted more and more. The scary truth that's been invading thoughts had no chance of fighting with the desire you were burning with. Him not loving you back as you do love him would kill you tomorrow but tonight you were born again.

Okay, Idea of Xiao fic:

The reader is a spirit born of the desires and dreams of a sick little girl, she has a strange disease that comes suddenly and lasts for long periods of time (months) before healing, leaving for a while and coming back again. That is why she is not usually outside and is usually alone in her room, sick or resting. But she's actually a pretty active, imaginative and curious little girl, and she'd love to travel and explore the world. Not to discourage her, the doctors and her parents told her that when she was older the disease would go away, and that she could go on adventures and live a normal life.

She usually dreamed of waking up to it, imagining herself as an old man in adventures and doing everything she dreamed of doing, so she created an idealized figure of what she would be like as old, who then became an imaginary friend and out of this came the reader. Although, she was rather a quiet person, and was like an older sister, she would tell her stories to distract her when she was sick and also sing songs about them, in addition to giving her hope that she could be healed.

She knew it was cruel, but she couldn't tell her otherwise, besides, a part of her believed that maybe, maybe, her dreams could come true someday.

There was a time in ma when the girl was fine for quite some time, so they let her go out and do whatever she wanted for mondstadt, the reader accompanying her along with her parents. While exploring she saw Venti who was singing a song, she was marabillated and loved his song, telling the reader how they were like hers. Before leaving, Venti made eye contact with the reader and she get scared, no one had ever seen her before and without the little girl noticing, she disappeared. The next day she met Venti again and apparently the girl had talked to him about her, but he knew she was not just an imaginary friend.

"You... what are you?"

She told him what it was (even though she herself didn't know what she was) and her relationship with the girl, she also told him that within here not long they would go to Lyue to find a doctor who could help the girl. He also told her that he would like to be able to make the girl's wishes come true, show her all the fantastic places that she had talked about and sung about and that she could grow up and have the life that she wanted so much. Venti listened and smiled, and asked her to do a duet to sing to the girl, she came and they sang, to her surprise, the people gathered, it seems that during her singing they could see and hear her, but at the end of the song, she became invisible and inaudible to everyone again. As venti left, she felt something heavy and cold against her palm, a bright vision hydro greeting her with her reflection.

She was able to make water and make illusions and shapes with it and used them to tell stories to the girl. Apparently people listened to her, but she decided not to pay too much attention to her, although the girl was happy that more people could enjoy her songs.

They go to lyue and stay at wangshu inn, at first people were scared of the sudden singing voice that started to be heard, but they got carried away by the wonderful voice and became used to it. (I imagine chongyun listening this and going there but we're not going to talk about that-) And Xiao, of course is one of those who hears this too. Although at first he was restless and even a little irritated by the disturbance of the usual silence, he found himself relaxing before the sweet voice, sometimes numbing it. The story is in general of how Xiao and she approach and overcome things like xiao's traumas and in the case of the reader overcome the girl's death. In the end also, the reader turns in a adeptus, Zhongli gave her that charge after seeing that she always went throughout lyue to sing and entertain people (after she overcame the girl's death). The ending would be where xiao and she are happy together, cause they now have someone by their side, someone to care and love.

Isekai idea:

The reader died (yes, she died) in a plane crash (she is now afraid of heights and everything that has to do with flying) and was saved by Paimon and Aether. She is scared and doesn't know what to do (her personality is I think identical to that of the girl from albedo's idea I had). She not knowing anyone and not having a place to go stays with them, but feels a useless and a burden, she is a normal person and cannot cope with monsters and when she sees them she is paralyzed with fear. When they arrive in madnostat, aether tells her to stay there while he makes commissions to earn money, but she feels guilty and asks amber for help in getting a job.

At first she works at Angel's Share, but feels uncomfortable working there among people who get drunk, but says nothing and keeps working. She thinks it would be ungrateful to want to change jobs, so she keeps working there for a couple of weeks. On one of his working days he meets venti, who immediately notices how uncomfortable she is, they talk for a while and he advises her to look for another job, but she does not give up and continues to work there.

Amber one day goes and asks how she is doing, but before the reader can answer Venti tells aber that she is uncomfortable working there and should look for another job. The reader tries to tell Amber that she is ok and doesn't mind working there anymore, but amber interrupts her and goes with her to find another job. In the end they go to where Jean is and on the way they meet Lisa, who was leaving the library. Lisa greets Amber and she returns the greeting, Lisa asks them what they are doing and Amber replies that looking for work for the reader, Lisa offers her work and ends up working in the library. In the end she ends up being quite close to Venti and is the one to whom she has told many things about her ( our) world.

In general she is only a spectator who sees everything from a distance, she doesn't know what todo either and doesn't like to go from one place to another without direction, she would like to have a place to belong to without feeling a stranger all the time. Before going to Lyue Venti gives her a vision (she has the same powers as the albedo idea reader). Honestly, I don't know very well how this story would go, I don't remember very well the story of the game and I don't know any place where I can see it again and in detail. Any ideas for this story are welcome, I need them.

dude... the personalities you give to the reader are so in depth...... normally, writers would just describe the reader vaguely, so im very much impressed. but i think i know why you have difficulty writing for what happens in the main plot? (i hope you don't take this the wrong way, this is just something harmless i noticed)

it seems you focus too much on the back story and it makes the main plot somewhat bland? or perhaps you just chose to miss more details on the main plot cuz you wanted to keep the surprises in your story? however, i do think your first idea was really interesting! i'm only talking about the isekai one (it would make sense if you just came up with the isekai idea recently and don't have much stuff for it yet) i don't think i have ideas concrete enough to be helpful, so i'm sorry about that, but maybe you can do something with the reader's fear of heights? like maybe she fell off from a high place again, and her first meeting with xiao is him catching her? aaaaaa i don't know,, it sounds cliche but i'm the type of person who'd enjoy that stuff ;-;

I'm pretty near there..for some reason, I just assumed you were maybe in LA since that's where most people would visit. My favorites are also spring and summer and it is pretty much half and half! Thanks for reassuring me for still talking about Taylor. So you were right..she announced a new bonus track! I was kinda surprised since I thought this would be more like the way it was with Folklore and Evermore which only had 1 and 2. I wonder how many there will be and if they will feel like part of the album or not or more like the extra 3AM tracks on Midnights. Of course they still feel part of the album, and that might be cuz we actually were able to hear them all right after the album. That's probably my one complaint about it..and I know it will be online right away but I just like having the full picture of the album. I think this might be my favorite cover so far too. This time, the name didn't make me think of anything or give me any idea of the song. All I knew Is that it's the name of a bird. But i liked the lyric and it made me wonder more if it went with that song. I will keep your predictions of these other lyrics in mind but I haven't thought about it much yet. If these are the only lyrics we end up with, I will make predictions. I was just looking at the Midnights ones and I got half right. What did you think? I was also off with surprise songs as usual and she is doing more mashups than I thought which is cool to see.

The comment in the Time article was about her locking herself away for years and I was nervous how that connects to Fresh out of the Slammer and just hope it's more metaphorical than literally blaming anyone. Oh those shows seem fun to go see! At least you can see the tour if the Wicked movie ends up being a big disappointment. I'm glad you will be able to see or enjoy shows again and I hope I will too eventually. You'll have to tell me how they are. Also I did your emoji book poll and thought it was funny that I ended up picking the choice for this summer will be different which is definitely on my list already but you introduced me to some others. I will hopefully be able to read it by this summer since summer is in the title lol. i feel like i go to california quite a bit although i'm very rarely in the LA area — i might take a trip down next year to the palm springs area to go catch a hockey game though! but yes, normally when i'm in california i'm over closer to san jose (like a 45 minute drive from there i think)!

i did have fun at fall out boy!! i still maintain that no concert should be that long (started at 6:30, got out around 11:15) though (just because i like being in my bed early haha). didn't get home till closer to 12:30 but that's ok! i was worried i wouldn't have fun because i didn't know as many songs as i wanted to but it was still a blast!!

did you see the new bonus track? the black dog? i'm really curious about what it'll be about! i saw something about black dog / mythology, and that would make a lot more sense over the literal black dog i was thinking of haha. i often think of midnights with 3am, but i think without the 3am midnights as an album goes down quite a bit in my rankings! i don't know how i feel about the mashups — i feel like sometimes they're clunky but i do like them in theory? i don't know though. i'm curious to see if she's going to just keep doing mashups for the rest of the tour or if she'll change it up a bit.
