The reaction was really interesting. I agreed with a lot of Bright’s point and it was nice to see a different perspective. I really wish they had showed it in the show. You can tell Bright is really attached to Sarawat and it hurts his heart to see the pain. It also showed me that the finale could have been loads better with a few cute scenes and a proper discussion. This is what Bright was talking about. At the end of the day it was the lack of communication.
Ahh I loved that reaction video and I loved seeing Bright talking about Sarawat’s point of view. I’m sure one of the reasons they bought him was the amount of shit he was getting from some people. This however also showed me what the show lacked. Though I loved 2gether.. most of the time we saw things were Tine’s perspective. It would have really been good to see it from Sarawat’s perspective in the last episode. You can also see Bright’s frustration at times with how they portrayed Sarawat.
I assume you watching the reaction video atm! Let me say this boy gives me heart attacks like how thoughtful he is and wants to explain sarawat’s every move since episode 12 and why he acted the way he acted. I felt like he kept it inside for so long that it needed to be spoken out like when he wanted to see a reaction from P’Jennie how he looked away and then right back at her. He was so stressed and on the edge the whole time! How he repeatedly said he’s sorry for Sarawat cause he knows that everyone was sorry for Tine but didn’t get to see/understand his side of version. He also zoned out in a couple of scenes like this boy has sooo many emotions and it feels it’s too overwhelming for him(I feel that at least). I’m so grateful that Bright exists and talk about loving a man and to feel love so freely!! He could’ve said so much in the end but instead it was more like an apology for hurting Tine and how his character works. He understands Sarawat so much. I’ll cry. I didn’t thought my opinion would be that long... he’s speaking so enthusiastically about Sarawat and what his character taught him. This boy is really a blessing for the 2gether + lgbt+ community I love him he’s a child like a babie :((
Bright just wants to smooch his co-star but the universe won’t let him.
hiii anons!!! i’m gonna combine all of your asks into one bc we’re all essentially talking about the same thing.
yeah. so. the ep 13 reaction video. lets talk about it.
firstly, i ... it will never cease to astound me just how much bright loves sarawat? he knows him with every fibre of himself. he knows sarawat right down to the tendon and bone of him. like. bright’s taken so much time out to character study sarawat, get into his psyche and mind and heart. and. i hate novel! sarawat, but, bright’s taken that character, and made it his own, completely transforming him. and that takes so much understanding and commitment and passion. truly, we don’t deserve bright. we really don’t. and i am so thankful we got bright to play sarawat. no body else could have done sarawat better than bright. so much so that like .... they both overlap, bright and sarawat. sometimes its hard to distinguish where sarawat ends and bright begins.
and like some of yall said, i think it was a very clever ... move (?) ... to star bright to react to ep 13, solo, without win. bc, like yall mentioned, and like im gonna dwell on now: 2gether was entirely from tine’s perspective. it reminds me a bit of skam, in that way, that ... ya know even tho i’ve watched skam and i should KNOW this, but i still forget just how POWERFUL perspectives are. and how much they influence your way of thinking. i touched upon this after ep 12, but now after watching bright react to the whole of ep 13, like, it comes back to that. we saw everything through tine’s eyes. and so, it felt like, sarawat’s side needed to be justified. but it could never be done on the show bc the show was about tine’s perspective. and the only way it could have been done, is if they both would have talked.
which brings me onto my next point, that bright mentions - the biggest barrier and fault was they both don’t know how to talk. i touched upon this just yday actually, how sarawat is someone who doesn’t know how to talk, he’s more of a do-er (like bright said), whereas tine is someone who overthinks himself to the point of sickness and anxiety and so he doesn’t know how to voice that out, and like bright said, tine is someone who is EXTREMELY obedient - if someone says something to him to do, tine will go along and do that and won’t say no to them. which means that tine himself has had very little experience of going with his gut and how he feels, and when he comes face to face in a situation like that, it becomes Very overwhelming for him.
so, it was really clever to have bright on, solo, to explain everything from his and sarawat’s perspective. especially the bit where bright was like “everytime someone flirted with tine, wat never once questioned his trust for tine or their love, he would go directly to the person in question and deal with them.” and ... ya know, that’s more easier for sarawat to do, than it is for tine, who isn’t like that at all - like bright said, tine is the more obedient one who just follows along everybody else’s suggestions and has never really used his agency to decision make for himself.
and so ... yeaah. like. people sent a LOT of verbal abuse to bright after ep 12. and bright even said he knew it would happen, bc the entire series is from tine’s perspective, he understood that from well before. so he says he was prepared, but he still didn’t come on social media that often bc he got so much verbal abuse over it.
and like, i’ve said before, just like how jennie and go said in the reaction video, that we should have got less flashbacks in the finale, and instead, we could have had a more sweeter scene. that could have been and should have been a proper, open and honest conversation between tine and sarawat, or, as bright suggested, a kiss. so, ya know, as some people were saying that maybe bright was just uncomfortable about kissng win??? no. no he wouldnt be AT ALL. it just ... never occured in the script. but yeah. i think .......... it really did get to bright - that sarawat never on the show got a chance to explain.
which honestly makes me feel like thats why half the time he would improvise as sarawat? and add in things he KNOWS sarawat would/should do bc he KNOWS the depths of his love for tine so he used those moments so smartly to show that (a sign of v v v good acting!!!). like a marriage proposal, or putting tine’s hand over his shoulder, or adding in cheek kisses. like. bright’s really gone over and beyond for sarawat and tried to show just how intensely in love wat is with tine, with the little space and room for manoeuvre that he got granted.
idk if the some of scripts were written in a rush? i mean, 2gether was the FIRST show from gmmtv to air in 2020 - if i’m correct???? - so, between november to february, the had to get everything shooted and done, but they MUST have started script writing earlier than that. idk ...
personally, i do wish we did get some more of the novel scenes in the show. like, sarawat and tine coming out to sarawat’s dad was SUCH a BEAUTIFUL scene in the novel but we never got it on the show. why? bc it was from sarawat’s perspective, not tine’s. another really nice scene, is the cinema scene where they held hands, but on the show we got a different version of it, where instead, they talked about a happy or tragic ending before tine decides to accept being wat’s boyfriend and they hug (i like that scene though, purely bc we got to see win’s crying which was !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING! and the hug was SUPER sweet!).
but yeah, it .... idk. seeing bright in that reaction video in some moments Hurt. bc .... there was so much he wanted to say but he kept it in. and he’d just glance and sigh and look down or away bc he GETS sarawat in a way i think nobody else does. and so ..... had the show had more time, or was able to cut out some scenes and replace them with other and rewrite bits, we could have gotten sarawat’s perspective, and not had the show completely butcher sarawat’s image in ep 12 the way they did, only for them to then have less than one episode, a finale no less, to save his face again, whilst also tying up every other plot at the same time.
like, bright has SO MUCH to offer as sarawat. and bright says he doesnt know about a season 2 (yet), but, ya know, if we ever got to see tine and sarawat again, i kinda wish they allow bright more freedom - bc he understands his character a lot more better than the writers do, i feel. he gets sarawat on soul deep level. so i just wish they’d give bright more freedom to be sarawat. and i have no doubt that, if that had been the case, we would have gotten a LOT more physical intimacy between tine and sarawat. i’m not mad about the lack of it, but, i’m assuming that bright would have really made sarawat be a lot more physical with tine. but at the same time, i agree with bright when he said that tine and wat are people who show their affections to one another in private - which is why i am SO ...... upset that we never got to see tine and wat ALONE in the one year later scene, bc, like i said, they WOULD have been a LOT LOT LOT more intimate then. but they weren’t alone. so they weren’t intimate. which. yeah.
but at the same time, ya know, bright’s so .... like. he gets where the hurt for tine stems from. just like how he gets sarawat’s character, he gets tine’s too. but like he said, he’s lived and breathed wat since day one - and so, i think he just really wanted a chance to explain everything from sarawat’s point of view. he really didn’t need to apologise at all, and yet he did, on behalf of wat hurting tine.
so whilst i know its just said that oh ya know bright should just write the whole of s2, i kinda wish, if we were to get one, that they writers would sit down and LISTEN to bright and win and take some input of theirs in, since, they’re the ones who KNOW their characters and play them.
but yeah, bright’s mind. his intellect. his knowing of sarawat ............. it will never cease to amaze to me just how dedicated he was at an emotional and psychological level to play sarawat.

I really care about your opinion, how do you feel about the bbc show and the way it's going?
I feel like before I give my take, I need to say that I understand the show is its own thing, and while I do wish they did a better job adapting certain things, I understand that sometimes there is a need for radical change or cut, especially when your budget is not super high (which HDM does have a lot of money into it, still is not a super big budget production, so they have to worry about these things). And I do enjoy many things about the show, but my overall vibe is mixed, to be honest. I’m stating this now because people often question whether I like the show or not, becaus I do criticise it a lot, and I simply have a critic view of the things I like, which is why I discuss them a lot and it can be overwhelming.
My main issues with the show are these 3 things: (which I’ll put under the cut because this got a bit longer than I wanted to lmao sorry)
Lack of worldbuilding and loose lore: I’ve been talking about this since day one, and this mostly applies to season 1 because I can’t judge season 2 yet because it’s not fully aired yet, but the show suffers from lack of worldbuilding, especially in Lyra’s world, which is the world that sets everything in motion. I still dislike the fact they introduced Will mid-NL, I don’t think he needed all those episodes to establish something that easily could’ve been done in S2 and because they gave TSK a lot of time, other parts of Lyra’s world suffered considerably, mainly the witches and the Magisterium.
The show doesn’t really expand on those two groups, especially, and I think that’s not good, especially the Magisterium (which they have over simplified by making it one big baddie, or so it seems at least, not to mention that implying a single leader for them practically ruins Marcel Delamare’s arc in TBOD and I’m very mad about that lmao). A lot of the Magisterium plot has that infighting aspect, which creates tension on their side as well as against their enemies, but the show doesn’t really explore that or the nuances of the Church, and they also don’t explore how varied the witches are, and I feel like this is a serious mistake. (The portrayal of the witches is by far my least favourite thing in the show, if I’m being honest).
Dull parallel world (and lack of daemons): this ties a bit with the worldbuilding aspect, but this is mainly about design choices. I think the show doesn’t make Lyra’s world as unique as it should be. On its own the world looks pretty and the outfits of most of the cast are great, but when you realise that Will’s world is intertwined with that, you don’t really feel like these two worlds are vastly different.
There is an odd situation in which Marisa’s fashion feels 30s/40s, but most of the men from her social circle (not fair to compare with the gyptians) just wear plain suits and they look much more modern. And while I get that they went for a timeless vibes, with different eras and styles, Lyra’s world feels like a caricature and it doesn’t feel believable. The colour palette is mostly the same for both worlds (even in s2, it’s hard to tell much of the difference because either the scenes are indoors or at night.) This, paired with the lack of daemons (which has been discussed many times in the fandom) kinda bums me out.
Marisa’s oversimplification: I’m mentioning Marisa, specifically, because she is the one that suffers the most due to this writing issues, but other characters like Lord Asriel, MacPhail, the general collective of the Witches, they all suffer from the writing trying to take away the nuances of them and make them flatter than in the book. Marisa is the worst because without her complexity and her flaws, she simply gets dull and boring and flavourless, and it’s kinda what has been happening in the show in my opinion. All she does is weep and she has no strength that doesn’t rely on a random fit of rage that dies out and she gets upset. There’s some great moments, like when she mimics the Monkey, but most of the time she’s just a shadow of who she is supposed to be.
The show tries really hard to make her a Scorned Mother - right from the get go, they try to makes us see how she wants Lyra, how she struggles with her “bad nature” and how that affects their relationship. There is this lingering implication that Lyra was taken from her against her wishes; they make it seem like being a mother to Lyra is her driving force, the only reason why she seeks power and influence. And that is the opposite of Book! Marisa, who is a force of nature, ruthless and ambitious, with not an ounce of maternal instinct.
She does eventually decide to help Lyra, instead of harming her, but even that action comes from a narcisistic place: Lyra is to her a possession, something that belongs to her, and that she wants to preserve. The show just handles her badly, falling into overused, boring tropes that struck far from the book version.
These are usually my main complaints about the show, and they upset me every episode to the point I’m practically ignoring them now lmao The show does a lot of good things too, making Will less of a prick, restoring Lyra’s personality from the first book into S2 Lyra (so far, please keep it that way), Mary is looking great too. They have mostly a great cast, and they did improve the daemons this season (except uh, there are far less daemons to show because of the other worlds - and the Ruta Skadi daemon change pisses me off tbh).
They do have a lot of interest in the show, but the writing (the main issue to me) feels clunky and childish, with the show toning down most of the themes that make His Dark Materials so special, especially to me (which frankly I expected them to do, but it still stings a bit). They make the Magisterium a single bad entity that feels more Authoritarian-Fascist, than a theocracy (even if they sneak in the religious symbols and rituals and garments, it’s just not a good portrayal, it’s very tame and shy); and they try to justify Marisa’s actions (especially in current interviews, there’s lots of talk about how her background will play in the show to “explain why she is the way she is”). The fact the Magisterium is portrayed as pure evil makes it looks less familiar than it should be, and therefore they don’t look scary, they seem like a caricature, a joke.
A lot of the essence of the characters get lost, and the core message of the story too, like when Iorek and the Gyptians tell Lyra she can be one of them, to support her lack of “proper family”, when that is the opposite of the books message. It doesn’t make sense for them to change that, other than maybe Jack Thorne wanted to because it makes the story feels less hopeless, but it’s why he fails to adapt these character - he doesn’t capture the essence, he tries to write these character with gaps in them.
However, the thing that annoys me the most is how they portray Asriel. It’s just... it’s bad. Really bad, which is a shame cause James is talented as fuck, but he had little time to film for season 1, and then they portrayed him very poorly. That scene when he addresses Roger in episode 7 is ridiculous, Asriel would never behave that way; there was relief in him finding Roger was there too, yes, but not to that extent and not in such a cringe way. Asriel is not deranged or irrational, he is a man on a mission, and Roger was a tool (there is no pleasure in Asriel taking his life and no excuses - it needed to be done and he did it); they just needed him to sound creepy in the show for whatever reason.
I hated how they handled the bridge scene for Asriel, Lyra and Marisa, but that’s long and complicated for me to explain here. In S2, there has been some mentions of him so far, including the implication he might have ruined Cittàgazze himself and I frankly don’t understand where did they get that idea. But the cherry on the top was Thorold telling Marisa that Asriel was gonna kill Lyra and that’s just-- that’s so dumb. That’s genuinely dumb writing, because Thorold knows Lyra followed Asriel to the mountain, and while I do believe Asriel would have killed Lyra if Roger wasn’t there, there is no way Thorold should know or consider that Asriel was gonna hurt Lyra, because Roger was there. In fact, Thorold’s interactions with Asriel in episode 8 already disprove this, so either Thorold was lying in S2 for the sake of, I don’t know, chaos or whatever, or the person who wrote this was a five-star, solid gold, fucking moron.
I’m not gonna mention the lost episode because that was no one’s fault, but the fact that they discarded an episode that all information we have on imply that it was important to set up the backstory of the angels and the city, it’s... concerning. It means they wrote something parallel that should’ve been woven into the season.
The truth is, I still watch the show on Sundays, and I still like some stuff they do (especially Mary’s stuff, so far), and despite me slandering the show per your request anon lol (cause unfortunately my honest opinion is mixed, I just don’t try to overfocus on the negative on Tumblr, I mostly talk about it on discord or private), I do think anyone who has read the books should watch the show.
For me, personally, everything I love about HDM is barely on the show - complex characters, the philosophy, the oppression by religion, the interesting world - and the vibe I get is that they’re adapting a coming-of-age love story, which is the last and - being fully honest - the least important message these books give us, but unfortunately they were set to making a family show from the start, and my expectations were high and unmatched, and a family is what we’re getting: toned down, cute, pretty visuals and soulless (heh, pun intended), philosophically speaking. I expect a certain pattern going into S3, but I always like to hold out hope that they will hire better writers (apparently Jack Thorne already wrote 4 scripts, so there you go lmao), and try to give HDM the adaptation it deserves. The truth is, if you’re a picky, canon reliant person like I am, the show might be a struggle, but if you just like the story for the teen romance, or if you don’t care about overthinking a show/book, then most people can have a good time with it.

why is there so much denial of Will being gay?? Like, nothing Will has done has shown him to be anytging but possibly gay. Like, nobody thinks he'z gay because he's a nerd that doesn't have a girlfriend!! We think he's gay because of all the fucking subtext!!!!
There are a few reasons for this, and they’re all (for the most part) rooted in homophobia. 1) There are those who (may or may not) notice the subtext, but ignore it with the excuse of “he’s too young; stop sexualizing him!”. All while shipping lumax, and mileven. Whether they want to admit it or not, this is homophobic! They view (subconscious or otherwise) being queer as inherently sexual, dirty, and adult. And that only straight relationships can be pure and innocent and based on compatible personalities. Straight kids can have innocent crushes (but in their eyes) queer kids can’t- they may not even exist, to them.
 2) There are some mileven shippers (who whether they want to admit it) hate Will, because the possibility he has powers or is gay- threatens their precious het ship. Because a lot of them don’t see El as her own person (just a part of their ship) or a vessel for being a badass with powers. They don’t appreciate her for the nuanced character she is.  They either get angry at the idea of Will being gay or having powers, or are only happy with him being queer if he’s sad and in an unrequited one-sided love/ or is single forever. Or they’ll say “why don’t you just ship him with someone else… like Dustin?” Ignoring the fact Dustin hasn’t been queer coded like Mike (or had romantically coded scenes with Will), or that people ship byler for Will and Mike, not cause it’s simply m/m. I mean, can you imagine byler shippers saying ‘Just ship El with Dustin, it’s a guy and girl… it’s practically the same thing”? No, of course not! It shows their bias- and how they feel privileged and entitled to their straight ship even though there are millions of similar ships in media to choose from- unlike queer ships which are far and few in between. However, we’re supposed to be the ones who pick another option- and are told our ships are ‘all the same’. Whether they are aware of this bias, they consider queer ships a joke, and all the same.
3) Those who relate to Will and his struggles,  hate the idea of relating to a queer character. There is a reason why shows like ‘Will &Grace’ in the 90s were popular, but even today the second a character who people assumed was straight is revealed as lgbt+ viewers get angry! It’s because they feel ‘tricked’ into liking, relating and empathizing with a character that they would otherwise have immediately put in a ‘box’ and  distanced themselves from . Whether they are aware of it or not, they would immediately attribute stereotypes to them and never try to empathize with them, because ‘they’re gay, and ‘how can I relate to that’? They don’t want to relate to them (because subconscious or otherwise) they think being gay is bad or just too foreign. They don’t see queer people as full-fledged people. They’re just gay- nothing more.
Which is why when they angrily say “he’s just afraid to grow up, HE’S NOT GAY!”  They are essentially saying a gay, abused kid, who has ptsd, and was violated by the MF (and was also hinted m**ested by Lonnie too) can’t be afraid to grow up, since he lost his childhood. Only straight people have these type of human-fears and characterizations!
Forget the fact, that Will also wouldn’t want to grow up- because than he’d have to acknowledge his sexuality (at a time where all you heard about gay men was they were evil , mentally ill, going to hell and dying of aids as a punishment by god). Not to mention Will’s ptsd and the fact he lost 2 years of his childhood on top of that.He even says “I’m not … going to fall in love” (not convincingly) , right after the movie date with Mike.
4) They’re so used to straight media, and everyone being presumed straight and having media catered to them (the straight audience)- That they’ll ignore or miss every hint there is a queer character.
So what are the hints of Will being gay (or at least- some other lgbt identity.
Called many homophobic slurs  since s1 ( specifically ”queer, fag, fairy, and gay”) by his dad and bullies. Jonathan in s1 tells Will to “not like things just because people tell you you’re supposed to, especially not him” ( ‘him’ referring to their dad). Is positioned behind a rainbow apple poster in the av room (ref. to Alan Turning the gay creator of computers), dances with a girl with a rainbow hair-clip, has rainbow bandaids, has his mom says she’s ”so proud” (lgbt+ pride ref) of the rainbow ship he drew . When Will disparages himself as a “freak”, Jonathan asks Will, who would you rather be friends with-  David Bowie (who was openly bi since the 70s) or Kenny Rogers? Will says Bowie, and Jonathan agrees saying “see, it’s no contest”. In the pitch to netflix the Duffers described Will as having “sexual identity issues”. In the leaked s2 snowball script it says “he’s not looking at the cute girl- but Mike.”
All of s2 directly paralleled ‘romantic s1 mileven scenes’ to ‘supposedly platonic byler scenes’. No joke, they had identical scenes, with almost identical framing and dialogue, but it’s all dismissed as friendship (even though the scenes are identical).Byler was also  paralleled to Jancy, Stancy, Jopper, bob/joyce and others. . You can headcannon Will as whatever you want, but like it or not- Will is queer and m/m! We could debate his exact queer sexual identity , but Will was never written and will never be written to be ‘straight’! Stay mad!
If Will was Wilma, the majority of the fandom would be byler shippers. Think about it! Mike having byler scenes that are identical to s1 mileven scenes, and then additional unique byler scenes. Mike staying by Wilma’s side 24 hours a day for several days (not even changing clothes), carrying her out of the hospital, grabbing her hand (with a zoom in shot),constantly asking her if she’s okay at least 5-7 times, putting his arm around her twice, being the only one who could tell something was off with her (and it wasn’t her normal type of quiet). Calling and running all the way to her house and banging on the door to check on her, desperate. Proclaiming “i’m the only one who cares about Wilma!” Watching her sleep cause he’s so worried, that shed scene reminiscing about how they first met in perfect detail, saying “I asked, I asked if you wanted to be my friend. You said yes, you said yes. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. (like a marriage proposal)”  The “crazy together” scene. Them being close since they were 5 vs the girl he knew for a week (but is somehow in love with?). If the witness said about El in s1 , “ same height… it could be the Byers girl”, instead of ‘boy’ (pointing out the resemblance). Mike getting into fights and getting upset (almost crying) about the bullies insulting Wilma. Mike having a whole binder of her drawings and caressing one of the drawings, after he thinks she died.  Being the only one of her friends to stay awake at the hospital, waiting for her to wake up- so he can see her and hug her first. Almost everyone would be team byler if Will was a girl- they probably would of started shipping it the second Wilma stared at him and was the only one who didn’t lie to him, in the first ep! Another parallel to El!
And again think about s3 if Will was a girl. They paralleled the (comedic) mileven breakup vs (the sad/serious) byler breakup. Then Mike just complained and burped on the couch vs apologizing to Willma multiple times/even going into a storm to apologize a 2nd time (and to ‘talk’). Willma having a breakdown over the fight vs El laughing and high five-ing Max after. The shed vs the pool shed scene- “best thing I’ve ever done” vs “you’re the most important thing in the world to me”, “blank makes you crazy’ (as El stares confused) vs “crazy together’ (where Wilma says ‘yeah, crazy together). Mike going on ‘movie dates with Willma all the time’ right after making out with El. The last mileven kiss where Mike has his eyes open the whole time, doesn’t kiss back, and says he doesn’t remember saying “I love her” to El (and doesn’t say ‘I love you’ back). Right after having a talk with Wilma about playing games when she comes back (the crux of their fight). Mike getting excited that he’ll be able to visit El and Wilma on Thanksgiving and them visiting him on Christmas (those are holidays where family usually introduces their S.O.) Having the last scene of Mike,  be him looking back at Wilma’s house, and have that whole monologue in that scene be about “feelings changing”, and then he goes to hug his mom like the s1 byler scene where he thought Wilma was dead. And that’s not even all the scenes- and every time byler won by a landslide. If Will was a girl, it would be obvious writing on the wall, that Mike would eventually choose Wilma over El by the end of the series.
But since they are 2 boys, we’re delusional, because queer kids don’t exist … apparently.

Holiday Episode Outline
Happy Halloween! This was for a spec script I wrote last October. Not sure if I’ll post the entire screenplay, but at least you can have a general idea. This takes place in S2 before the return of Della or introduction of Violet.
Dewey
Wants to find perfect costume for Halloween
Finds and takes magical costume from Glomgold’s place
Risks life to save costume, unintentionally putting others in danger
Makes bet, puts on costume to suppress primal urges of ambition
With help of costume, he completely changes personality
Plan backfires, costume is cursed and slowly corrupts him
Evil Dewey teams up with Glomgold, lures family into trap
When he loses costume, he becomes weak and normal
Embraces flaws - uses his daring side, Huey’s smarts, and Louie's manipulation to trick Glomgold
Louie
Wants to pull off perfect prank for Halloween (has a bucket of tricks)
Attempts to TP Glomgold’s house- backfires
Pulls prank on Webby
Thinks someone’s out to kill him
Wears garlic necklaces, stakes, holy water to chase away spirits
Turns out whole thing’s a prank by Webby lol
Webby
Every past year, Webby was asked to scare away trick or treaters before triplets arrived
Louie says she’ll never be able to scare him - Ooh, Louie, you’re in for it now
Warns Dewey about the “Halloween curse” - no one listens
Is the only one that knows Dewey has the cursed costume but doesn’t say anything because Dewey begs her not to (SO MUCH DEBBIGAIL!!!)
Tells Louie if he upsets the spirits on Halloween night by taking their job, they’ll be mad
Admits it’s a prank to prove she can scare him - succeeds (Louebby ftw!) jk
Glomgold
Loves Halloween! He can torture kids - sets up traps around his house for trick or treaters
Lures triplets to house with note
sets up costume with hopes, they’ll take it - They do!
-Teams up with Dewey (corrupted)
-Traps Scrooge and family
-Steals costume and stupidly puts it on - hilarious twist: the costume takes away your greatest desires, right? Well, it stops his desire to get revenge on Scrooge- and he lets him go!
Huey
Halloween is a frivolous holiday. But it’s fun
Has chart of the increased stock of candy gathered every year - Oh, Huey... XD
Accuses Dewey of being reckless (this goes serious)
makes bet with him he can’t go entire day without “deweying” something
Warns Louie he’s taking trick too far - voice of reason
hates haunted houses (semi-joke)
That’s it. Don’t have much for him in this ep. Poor Huey
No Scrooge. Why? Because I’m lazy ROFL
.........
Oh, and Beakley sucks!

let’s just leave this here
so let’s see how quickly I can get through a bunch of these, just so they don’t languish for the next month... here we go. behind the cut:  why the opening never changed, why DW is deploying Josh again, a few about Iverson & Hedrick, is a reboot possible, staying in fandom vs leaving... and some others in the same vein.
why did they keep the same opening for all of vld seasons, considering the line-up was never supposed to come back to the original from s3?
Every indication is that originally, the team would return to the original lineup. Keeping the opening was probably meant to remind audiences of that inevitability. Or you could believe LM, who said the opening cost 20K to make, and thus was too expensive to do more than once. She’d rather spend that money on a vacation.
So I've heard that Josh Keaton is doing damage control for S8. Do you think Dreamworks sent him in because they know that he's the one guy that no one can get mad at? After what some of the fans have done to him this past year [...] I’m amazed that he's willing to stick around and try to make his fans happy for as long as he can. I can see why people say "We don't deserve him."
Josh has somehow managed that sweet spot between charming the fandom and gaining its trust. Doesn’t hurt that he’s got the chops, voice-wise, to take written dross (no, really, some of those lines are horribly clunky) and spin it into gold. More than anything else, he comes across as genuine, and that adds a certain credibility to his words.
But... Josh doesn’t really have a choice. Playing Shiro is what catapulted Josh upwards, and the last thing he can afford to do is piss off DW by refusing to play ball. He’d only be damaging himself (and his reputation among potential employers) if he didn’t snap to attention when called. Plus, I think he really does sincerely love the character, but it’s got to be a tough spot for him right now.
When you get down to it, the only one on VLD’s (former) staff who seems to believe Shiro belongs in the story and should be respected as part of the story... is Josh. Who else can Shiro’s fans look to, if Josh stops speaking?
So, yeah, Josh is it. And I bet he knows that, and knows it’s just part of signing up for such a major role. This is part of his job.
So I came across a pic of Mitch Iverson from SDCC 2018 where he and Tim Hedrick weren't in the panel ... and [Iverson] was wearing a SHIRO BLACK PALADIN top ... while the EPs & Hamilton were in the panel promoting S7, Iverson supported Hedrick & his story, and Shiro.
Hedrick was actively involved in every script as the story editor, and reportedly conceived of Shiro as an astronaut returning after his capture by aliens. Iverson got his start thanks to Hedrick, thus it makes sense that Iverson would be simpatico with Hedrick’s vision of the story.
On top of that, by SDCC Iverson already had his next gig lined up. He continued to write for VLD, so he had to be subtle... but a t-shirt was a good way to make his sentiments clear. Can’t blame the guy, seeing he probably knew what was coming and chose a quiet protest of his own.
As an American, how would you take it if someone, that is, Iverson, called himself a redneck? From what I know thats derogatory term & for people not exactly inclusive & supportive of minorities. He also retweeted an art of Allura with a quote: ‘Laters’, which I found in really poor taste...
Redneck is another slur adopted by the in-group. My guess is that if you called Iverson a redneck to his face, he’d be offended. But if you introduced yourself as a redneck, and then called him one, it’d be different. And yes, as a term, redneck has a complex history, and it changes subtly in terms of how each generation defines/uses it.
As for retweeting things in poor taste... eh, most people don’t have any training in social media. Jokes are the hardest; it’s so easy for them to go so wrong. Until VLD, I’d bet Iverson was lucky to have a few hundred followers. How many follow him now? It takes time to find your footing in striking the right balance of humor and dignity.
Sometimes the best course is to ignore the stumble. They’ll either learn, or they won’t. Either way, it’s their problem, not ours.
Will Tim Hedrick be allowed to continue the voltron universe the way he planned it?
I doubt it. He’s got a new project. If you’re now an EP finally getting your name at the top, would you really want to go back and fix someone else’s story? Sometimes it’s just better to leave it behind, and make sure the next thing you do is something you can have pride in.
...why do you keep saying the last episode Tim Hedrick wrote was The Feud? A lot of people keep repeating it, like it was his last 'fuck you' to the showrunners. But official sources all say 'The Journey Within' was his last episode.
All we can say for certain was that tJW is the last Hedrick episode broadcast. That doesn’t mean it was the last one written.
Here’s why a lot of us peg tF as Hedrick’s last written episode: the story editor credit. Hedrick's the sole story editor on all his other episodes; tF is the only one in which both Hedrick and Hamilton share credit. The simplest explanation is this episode was edited in that window during which Hedrick had one foot out the door, and Hamilton had one foot in. iow, Hedrick put it into the queue, edited half, and moved on. Ergo, last written.
I can’t believe how they just managed to anger literally everyone no matter your favorite character or ship.
I recall a quote from early on, where LM said they had a feeling they couldn’t please everyone. The problem (which I noted at the time, and has remained true) is that the answer isn’t to just piss off everyone.
It’s to figure out who you want your audience to be, and to write the best damn story you can for that particular audience. If you end up with a story only old-timer DotU fans love, and kids are lukewarm about, fine. If the reverse is true, fine. You can’t please everyone, especially in a reboot/remake. So you pick your battles, and write your story accordingly.
Looking around social media, most people I'm seeing are either rightfully upset, or they're hyperfocusing on the one single scene they liked because they just don't have the energy to deal with the show's bullshit right now. How can they fuck up the last season so badly that it seems like the general reaction is disappointment and denial?
I think there’s a common cause for the fandom reactions: exhaustion.
In American broadcast television, a 26-episode season runs from September to May, then a summertime lull, during which people digest and discuss. Binge-watching is changing this, but it seems one thing hasn’t changed: no matter how fast we watch a show, we still require processing time.
What did we get? A half-season, two months’ break, another half-season, two months’ break, a full season, three months’ break, and a final full season. If every season had provoked a spike equal to S1/S2, we might’ve been begging DW by June to just freaking chill. Fandom had barely begun to process one season and a new one was already landing on our heads.
On top of that, S3-S6 weren’t exactly walks in the part, post-release. In terms of controversy, S7 dwarfed them all. That made an awful lot of people (across the entire spectrum, from almost every sub-group in the fandom) disengage. Those who remained dialed back on their expectations (”as long as X happens, that’s all that matters”), or they hung in there, insistent it would turn out alright.
So either you’re exhausted from not being able to fully disengage with the final season still in the wings, you’re exhausted from convincing yourself this one specific thing would be enough, or you’re exhausted from defending what turned out to be indefensible.
Frankly, disappointment and denial is a fairly soft landing, compared to what might’ve been. But any way you cut it, the fandom’s worn the hell out.
Do you think LM and JDS are gonna address this or are they just going to ignore the complaints, wash their hands and move on?
They don’t need to do anything. They don’t work for DW anymore. If someone has to address the complaints, it’d be DW or DW’s chosen spokesperson. I guess you could call that washing their hands, but the simple fact is they’re not on the payroll. They’re not responsible for VLD anymore.
do you think it's possible for dreamworks to rewrite season 8? i've never heard of a show doing that before and i'm afraid that we'll be stuck with what we got, but damn, i really hope that we will get to see the characters get the endings they deserve, if nothing else.
I’m not sure why anyone would bother. S7 was rife with problems; S3-S6 meandered back and forth. If I were to do a soft in-series reboot, I’d go back to the end of S2. That’s the clearest break, story-wise.
But if you’re going backwards 50+ episodes to the 26th, just keep going and start over. More to the point: not a lot of creators would sign on to inherit problems not of their own making. Same reason new directors on a property will want to rework the script in some way (if not start over from scratch).
Do you think this is truly the end of Voltron: Legendary Defender? I know that a lot of the cast and crew wanted to continue on with a sequel, and there's so many possibilities and things they can do in that universe, not to mention that Voltron is (or rather, was) a money bank...
Your guess is as good as mine, really. Hopefully we’ll get at least hints when the SACanime panel rolls around in early January.
There's a change petition for the "original s8" to be released ... [people] believe that LM and JDS are NOT the ones who ruined the last two seasons and that it was "exec meddling." Like, no, sorry, exec meddling appears to be what made it good in the beginning.
If we consider Yoo an exec by virtue of being CEO of Studio Mir, then I kinda wish he’d meddled a bit more.
...I'm wondering if the original version exists, completed. In one post, you said DW picked Tim over L/J so surely that got animated? What do you think? Be real. I don't want to get my hopes high thinking there's some buried treasure out there to find.
Ah, no, sorry, I wasn’t speaking in the sense of VLD but in the overall corporate sense. Here’s how the scenario often plays out: manager A and employee B do not get along. The longer they clash, the greater the chance A will find an excuse to fire B. The project is literally not big enough for the both of them.
B could resign, quit, or do a preemptive strike: go over A’s head and ask for help. If B leaves the company shortly after, it means the higher-up said: “I’ve heard A’s side, and I think A is right.” The exec might offer a good reference, or blame it on a no-fault bad fit. Doesn’t matter; the exec’s chosen A’s side.
Now, consider what actually happened: B gets transferred off the project, and gets a major promotion -- basically up to the same level as B’s former manager. Either B has some of the most amazing dirt ever, is phenomenally good at twisting reality to seem like the wronged party... or the higher-up reviewed the situation and decided that of the two, B was the one worth keeping.
Having decided that, the exec made an offer B couldn’t refuse, which would be to run a show that’s practically tailor-made to fit B’s dream job. That’s what I meant by losing the battle (how VLD would go) and winning the war (being the party seen as in the right, by the execs).
The only way for A to turn things around is to have a blisteringly successful final product. It could literally kill two careers with one stone: the (former) employee, B, who spun such a good story, and the exec(s) who believed B.
Given the numbers I’m seeing for S8... that exec did choose wisely.
ETA (sorry forgot this part): There might be pieces, but it really depends on what version control is in use (if any). For that matter, even if there were saved copies, who’s to say those didn’t get, whoops, deleted at some point? I’d put my bet on there being nothing, now, except what we got. Sorry.
I could understand if you never want to have anything to do with this show ever again.
Oh, jeez, I was here before VLD and I’ll be here after. Once we all get over our mutual exhaustion (and the holidays, bloody great timing, there), it’ll be time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. Fandom’s got a lot to do, putting things back together in all the shapes that’ll make us happy. This is the best time to be in a fandom, if you ask me. Everything’s just getting started!

Spoilers under the cut!
Replies from @eliamatrell:
i've been thinking about those spoilers a lot, and frankly - killing off the dark horse of their entire show is NOT a smart move (but then again, american gods wouldn't be the first show whose showrunners have shot themselves in the foot). still - pablo's performance has been consistently praised by the critics, the audience loves sweeney, hell, i'd argue he's one of the main four characters (if the fact that only shadow, wednesday, laura, and him have their own funko pop  figures is anything to judge by). sure, killing off a main character early in the series isn't totally unheard of (see: game of thrones), but it usually happens in shows with bigger ensembles - who would even replace sweeney? would laura (another main character in the show and only a minor one in the book) continue her journey alone? would she join shadow and wednesday? i don't think they're going to sideline emily browning.
i don't think pablo has announced any upcoming projects (save for a one movie), and he's stuck with the show even when behind-the-scenes drama was at its worst, so i don't see any reason why he'd give up a sweet and steady paycheck unless he had no other choice (aka the writers were set on killing mad off). he's been very involved in promoting the show, too.
I don’t think they’d sideline Emily either, and for all we know, if the spoiler is true, then it’s possible that it was Pablo’s decision to leave. He’s mentioned a few times now that working on S2 was a hot mess, lol. But it’s still possible they’re pulling a Jon Snow and do plan to bring him back from the undead in S3. Given this is a fantasy series as much as Game of Thrones, it wouldn’t be weird for the show to find some loophole to get Sweeney back from the cosmic plains of Anubis! I think it would kinda funny if Sweeney came back as a zombie leprechaun, lol.
but i also agree that his death being temporary would be anti-climatic, and an entire episode dedicated to his history would be a good way to send him off. his life was long and tragic, so if we'll get to witness his awful past AND his ultimate death in the span of sixty minutes.... man, i already know i'm going to cry my heart out. just--- why so early! why!
goodness, i feel like i'm rambling, but it all doesn't really make any sense, even though i am well aware that it DOES happen in the book. and yet. and yet.
I think the fact his send-off is coming at us so early is what’s baffling and upsetting, honestly. And while we don’t know exactly how he dies (in some type of battle or Wednesday pulls a few strings to have him killed - maybe both), it’s kinda killing me that Laura isn’t there. She’s spending that time with Mama-Ji and most likely continuing her journey to un-dead herself, so....did Sweeney go off-script? Maybe he told her of his intent and said, “later...have fun with my coin.” What’s her reaction going to be? Would she care? I think it’s kinda scaring me, and just kinda based on what I’m hearing about s2, that she won’t care so much? Not in the way we want her to?
Oh, god, I’m not ready for this episode on SO many levels.

Stuart/Vince Signs:  Opposite Closets (Part 2, Vince’s Workplace)
.
To sum up from part 1 of this series, Stuart and Vince are carefully written to have opposite spaces where they’re still in the closet. At the start of the series Stuart’s parents think he’s straight, and Vince’s coworkers think Vince is straight. By the end of the show, all our leads--Vince, Stuart and Nathan--are out and proud in every section of their current lives. But oh, there’s a journey to get there. And for Vince and Stuart, that journey is shippy AF.
.
Vince: Closeted at Work
.
Tumblr media
.
Through most of season 1, Vince is in the closet at his job. We learn this at the very beginning of the second episode, the first time we see Vince at work at all. In a few minutes of footage we see Vince check out a customer (above), make fun of the customer with his coworkers in order to fit in, feel ashamed when the customer sees Vince faux-laughing at a homophobic gesture, and then (a few minutes later) Vince gets tricked into going on a heterosexual group date thing.
.
Vince is not living his best life, here.
.
Tumblr media
.
This pub night, understandably, really stresses Vince out. Vince calls Stuart on his way to the pub. Here’s a bit of that chat:
.
Stuart: Well just don't go [to the date setup]. Vince: We need a codeword, if I phone you up and say a certain word, you come and get me. Think of a word. Stuart: Twilight. Vince: How the hell am I supposed to get twilight into a sentence? Stuart: Then don't go! Vince: Oh my God I'm here, straight pub. I'm going in, I can't stop.
.
Vince isn’t thrilled about this, but he’s going anyway. He tell Stuart later that in an alternate universe, he might have married Rosalie, his set-up. They bond over TV and Vince ends up having fun with her. Still, when she spots him at a gay club one episode later, he’s really, really upset about it.
.
Vince: Work alert, we’re going, see you outside. It’s that bloody Rosalie, this place is getting so straight.
.
Stuart doesn’t exactly cope with all of this well. I mean, for contrast, here’s Stuart at his workplace:
.
Tumblr media
.
That’s Stuart making eyes at a client, who he’s about to suck off. There are some pretty intense class issues at play here--Stuart’s got a white-collar job at an advertising agency, whereas Vince works in management at a supermarket. Between the fancy job and its perks (company car etc.) we’re to believe Stuart had more “fuck you” money than Vince, meaning Stuart feels the freedom to work somewhere accepting of his sexuality. Vince, on the other hand, is working to pay for his life but also sending money home to his mom. Vince and his family need his s2 promotion, and Vince feels less freedom.
.
So when Stuart repeatedly tells Vince to come out, at least to Rosalie, he’s coming from a good place (he hates seeing Vince miserable!) but also, it’s not something Vince plans to do anytime soon. Like, um, Vince isn’t gonna follow this advice, Stuart:
.
Stuart: Oh for fuck’s sake, tell [Rosalie] you take it up the arse and get out [of the straight pub].
.
Vince’s mid-season boyfriend Cameron, by contrast, doesn’t give Vince any advice on the subject. He does show up at work to flirt with Vince, but it’s all verbal innuendo, totally discrete. Cameron is willing to respect Vince’s rules. Stuart is too, to an extent--he eggs Rosalie on by telling her that Vince has a crush in the hopes of upsetting Vince enough to get Vince to come out to Rosalie (and possibly to damage their friendship, I think Stuart’s a little jealous Vince had a good time with his coworkers). But it’s only after Stuart has already decided to torpedo his friendship with Vince that he crosses a line.
.
Because once Stuart needs a way to so offend Vince that Vince will throw away their friendship, Stuart knows just what line to cross. He invites Rosalie to Vince’s birthday party and outs him.
.
Tumblr media
.
Tumblr media
.
Rosalie’s embarrassed, and Vince is so mad. Rosalie uses some homophobic language and storms off, Vince leaves the elaborate birthday party Stuart has thrown in Vince’s honor, and Cameron even calls Stuart out directly, showing yet again that he’s team Let Vince Stay in the Closet at Work:
.
Cameron [to Stuart[: What’s he [Vince] going to do at work? Christ, but you’re a bastard.
.
Here’s the thing: Stuart isn’t exactly a one-motive kind of guy. Like, yes, he thought he needed to anger Vince to ultimately help Vince gain independence, but I think he also wanted to help Vince ultimately feel more comfortable at work. And he succeeds! Rosalie eventually forgives Vince, and Vince comes out to his other coworkers at the end of the season. Please enjoy Marcie’s reaction:
.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Here’s how the script describes the end of the scene:
.
Vince gives Rosalie a smile, saunters back the way he came. King of his domain.
.
Vince will run into issues involving homophobia and the supermarket in s2, but at least he’s no longer hiding.
.
Why is this shippy?
.
There are a few reasons why this matters for Vince/Stuart. Firstly, we see how these closets hurt the relationship between our boys. Each “closet” fucks with their respective head spaces and leads them to “break up” as friends at Vince’s 30th birthday. And issues with the relationship between Vince and Stuart is where the series as a whole finds its conflict.
.
Secondly, though, we’re looking at a fundamental truth of shipping. One of the key ways media-creators write compelling romances is to have the main ship resemble a series of opposites, so that their coming together as an “ironic pair,” representing order being brought to a disorderly system.
.
So RTD has strengthened the ties between Stuart and Vince, and how dramatically compelling it would be for them to get together, by showing them each dealing with a “closet” of their own. It puts more quality conflict between them, and, in each coming out of their closets, helps them find the freedom to be together.
.

What do you think about Tyrion looking down the hallway towards Daenerys' room while she and Jon were getting busy? What was the point of showing us that?
THIS IS THE BEST ASK IN THE WORLD THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SENDING IT
CUT FOR SPOILERS
OKAY SO. I think there are a few different reasons why he did it and to show it. This is all pure speculation on my part, some of which is based on stuff that Peter Dinklage has said, as well as the leaked scripts from the finale that were stolen from HBO by hackers.
Important thing number one: the only people in his family that Tyrion loved besides Jaime were Cersei and Jaime’s children. He clearly doesn’t care about their parentage and has known all along, but he loves them still. We’ve seen throughout the series that Tyrion does have a soft spot for those he sees as innocent - this is why he works so hard to rescue Sansa from Joffrey in s2. He has a conscience and doesn’t want innocents to stuffer torment or violence. I find that Tyrion does seem to shift a bit in that scene with Cersei when he realizes she is pregnant. It REALLY complicates things for him. Think about it: can he, in good conscience, align himself with someone who WILL kill his sister? I don’t generally prescribe to the idea that Dany is “the mad queen” or whatever sexist bullshit D&D tried to pull this season with Tyrion being so ~offended~ about her burning the Tarlys when he has also committed murder. But think about it: the end goal for Dany has to be killing Cersei. Cersei can’t live if Dany wants to be safe on her throne.
Either way, how can he throw his support behind someone who will kill his pregnant sister? Do you think Dany would let Cersei live until the baby was born? I mean, maybe, but that’s not a sure thing, and the writers did a little bit of (shitty) work trying to make us see that Tyrion believes Dany to be capable of violence despite his advice. Tyrion probably feels very, very torn about his support for Dany knowing how badly it will hurt Jaime and knowing that there is an innocent member of his family involved. I think this is a great recipe for Tyrion to be brooding around outside Dany’s door. She isn’t listening to him like he wants her to, which has been well established, and the stakes have just gotten significantly higher for him.
Important thing number two: there’s an exchange in the script between Tyrion and Bronn that I think is pretty telling here. Firstly, Peter Dinklage did say that Tyrion is harboring some feelings for Dany. Let’s go to the script:
Bronn recounts seeing Dany on the Kingsroad. Quite a woman. Almost turned Jaime into charcoal. Tyrion tries to tell Bronn that Dany is the best chance they have to make the next hundred years different from the last hundred. Bronn is surprised to find Tyrion buying into her cult of personality. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
“She was nice to look at, though, from what I could make out while she was roasting us alive. Have any luck with her?”says. “I know what you like.” Bronn looks Over his shoulder at Jon Snow. “Handsome brooder. Dragon Queen fucking him yet No? Bet she will be soon. He’s what they go for. Him and your brother. Not us. We’re never the one they go for. We’re the other one.” 4 ) .Tyrion’s expression protests. “Don’t pretend with me,” ?It’s sure shitty to be the other one.
This comes off as…pretty bitter haha. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Tyrion is harboring some sort of feelings for Dany and it is as plain as day to people looking on that Dany will never love Tyrion, just like every other woman in his life - she will always love people like Jon. I feel like this definitely has echoes with Littlefinger’s relationship with Cat as well. She would never love him and would only have eyes for people like Brandon and Ned. Those Stark men. Gotta love them.
So despite betraying his own family for her, Dany doesn’t really heed his counsel. Who does she listen to? Jon. And she listens to Jon’s advice almost right after meeting him. That has to be pretty frustrating for Tyrion. I’m not saying Tyrion feels that he’s owed her affection because of turning on his own family. I’m just saying that he probably feels really conflicted about the fact that he LIKES Jon, but does not like that Dany seems to listen to Jon because of her feelings for him more than she will listen to the person she chose as Hand. It’s really complicated for Tyrion because he clearly wants Dany to be the queen, but also doesn’t seem to want his remaining family members to be killed, but knows that Dany is a better ruler for the greater good…if he sees Jon growing close to Dany, I think he knows that the likelihood of his family dying is even higher than it would be if Dany didn’t listen to Jon because Jon has a lot of reasons to want both Cersei and Jaime dead. Jon, in some ways, may even make Tyrion’s position more precarious from Tyrion’s perspective.
He admits to Varys that he liked being the Hand of the King when he was doing that job in place of his father. It’s the life he wants to have when he agrees to be Dany’s Hand, I think. He wants to rule because he enjoys it and feels like he’s good at it, not because he wants power. He wants to help people. Jon being in the equation as a romantic partner especially should concern Tyrion because it probably seems likely to him at the time that a marriage between Jon and Dany makes A LOT of sense, and if Dany likes Jon, it’s probably going to happen. He knows that if Dany gets married, his job could be in jeopardy. His role in Dany’s life, in a way, would be in jeopardy. It’s an uncertain future for him if an unknown but definitely Lannister-hostile variable enters the equation as Dany’s spouse.
A further dimension of Bronn and Tyrion’s interaction here beyond pointing out that Tyrion will never be the man Dany loves and will not ultimately be her partner in life is the fact that Bronn brings up how Tyrion is buying into Dany’s ‘cult’ I suppose. It’s true, if you think about it…it is probably pretty weird from Bronn’s perspective that Tyrion has found someone to believe in, a better future to believe in. Tyrion has changed a lot since he last saw Bronn, but I don’t think he has changed quite so much as to not be affected by the idea that what he is working toward is, essentially, replacing the old boss with a new one. Tyrion maybe sees himself becoming, for example, what people like Ned were for Robert - people who believed in him and fought for him, believing the world would could be made a better place by Robert…and then being disappointed. I don’t think this is going to change the fact that Tyrion believes in Dany, but I do think since the writers have put in that (again, shitty) work to show us that Tyrion could have doubts about what kind of queen Dany would be, that he fears replacing Cersei with someone just as bad. He loves the idea that Dany would “break the wheel”, as she has said, but probably fears the idea that she won’t. And he feels in that moment like he maybe has reasons to doubt her. He doesn’t strike me as the type of character who really wants someone they respect to tell him that he’s ‘buying into’ something that may not have the kind of merit he thinks it does.
To sum it up? It’s really complicated why Tyrion would be outside Dany’s door looking conflicted. He probably is feeling confused about the path forward after speaking with Cersei, and upset that Dany listens to Jon and seems to have feelings for Jon so immediately not only because he harbors feelings for her but also because Dany loving Jon is just generally probably not a great thing for Tyrion. He very much did not seem to approve of what was occurring and expected what he perceives as ‘better’ from Dany, but the writers have taken the time to show us that he has been disappointed in her ignoring his advice. This was another chance to show us his disappointment in her decisions. Is it setting the stage for him to turn on her? I don’t think so, although I did get a sense that he could potentially see this as a betrayal from Dany. I think it’s setting the stage for what he’s going to do after this war is over. I don’t think being Dany’s hand is where he’s going to end up, and this mounting disappointment in Dany is probably the first indications we’re going to get of that.

Jensen: “Good trip so far?”
You: “She only dropped juice all over herself once and cried to the top of her lungs twice. It’s going great and everyone in this plane loves us.”
Jensen: “Ha! I’ll be in the lookout for viral videos of you sending someone to hell if they cross the line. Show em your mean right.”
You: “Funny. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone is a jerk to us.”
Jensen: “I wouldn’t be surprise if you kick their asses.”
You: “You know me so well. She’s sleeping right now.”
Jensen: “Give her a kiss for me. Gotta go.”
After locking your phone, you looked down to the sleeping beauty in your arms. Knowing she rested peacefully in your arms melted your heart. She didn’t have a care in the world. You knew she was feeling cold when her tiny body curled towards you. The corner of your lip curved up watching her seek for warmth in you. Slowly and trying not to wake her up, you grabbed the pink blanket from your bag and covered her up.
The flight went on for two more hours until you finally landed in Vancouver. Jensen was waiting for you as you walked out of the airport. His smile got wider watching you walk towards him with the stroller.  The sudden flashing lights interrupted the moment.
Jensen’s picked up his pace and reached you and JJ. He gave you a kick kiss on the lips before escorting you towards the car. You re-adjusted your bag and followed him closely towards the car.
“Are you okay after the accident, Y/N?”, “When’s the wedding?”, “Is there a wedding at all?!”, “You gotta put a ring on it, Jensen! She’s too hot!”.
“Hey!” Jensen glared at the men surround you, “Back off!” He snapped at the paparazzi who was reaching and going too far.
You and Jensen glared at the paparazzi was a forty something dude, he laughed and kept taking photos of the three of you. The both of you walked straight to his SUV. Neither of you spoke but it was obvious, neither of you were comfortable.
“I hate this,” you breathed out.
“That last one was an asshole,” Jensen put his seat belt on and glancing at JJ in her car seat.  “At least they didn’t wake her up.”
You turned to glance at JJ, who is sleeping carelessly. The sight of your daughter made the uncomfortable feeling the paparazzi gave you drift away. Sometimes it blew your mind away how such a small human being had so much power over you.
“Yeah,” you smiled turned back to Jensen. “I missed you.”
Jensen flashed a grin and leaned forward, kissing your lips properly and without any rush this time. You haven’t seen him since Sunday morning when he left for work.

You stayed in Austin till Monday because Gen talked you about some amazing bridal stores. It was a bummer when after spending an entire day looking for a dress, you didn’t had any luck.
“How was your day?” You asked Jensen as he drove down the highway.
He played with your fingers as he drove, his eyes focused on the road.
“It was alright,” he shrugged, “the usual, lots of horsing around and acting.”
You chuckled softly. “Sounds awesome. My last two days were full of changing diapers and looking for my wedding dress and not having any luck.”
“When you put it like that, sounds horrible,” Jensen half smiled.
“Nah,” you cocked your head, glancing at the trees, “I love changing diapers.”
Jensen laughed, making a turn, “Sorry you didn’t have any luck with the dress.”
You shrugged, looking at him. “Maybe my dress is in LA or NY.”
“When are you going?” Jensen asked.
“I’m thinking when you leave for Rome with Jared,” you said undecided, “instead of going to Austin, I’ll meet with my mom in New York.”
Jensen nodded, “Sounds like a plan. Sucks that you’re not coming to Jus In Bello.”
You let a disappointed groan out, “It does! I love that freaking con but, mother duty calls.”
“Maybe we can take her next year,” Jensen said.
“Maybe,” you smiled. “I’m hungry.”
Jensen glanced at you, “Take out?”
“Yes, please,” you let out.

Everyone on set greeted you with smiles, saying how beautiful JJ was and how fast she was growing. Whoever said babies grow up like plants was completely right.  After hair and makeup, Ley,la one of the set assistants, let you know they needed you.  You left JJ with the nanny in your trailer and headed to set.
The scene you were about to shoot was with Jensen and Jared in the bunker. There’s a new demon messing with the boys and, more specifically, messing with Dean’s. You shook your head when you remembered the scene Jensen had to do yesterday. Instead of going the usual way, today you decided to walk around the set and get in from the back, specifically Dean’s room.  When you walked into set, your heart skipped a beat.
“What the hell?” You said out loud without thinking.
Jensen’s eyes were instantly on yours, “Babe!”
In that moment you realized they were still rolling and that you completely messed and barged into the scene.  Jensen and a woman were in bed making out. Jensen was shirtless and the woman was shirtless as well.
Your eyes widened feeling stupid for reacting to a scene like this. “I’m sorry!” You let out. “I completely forgot you guys were filming this first. My bad.” You glanced around.
“It’s okay, Y/N,” the director walked in, “we just needed to re-shoot the kiss because yesterday’s was…” He cleared his throat, “too real?”
You arched an eyebrow, “What do you mean by too real?”
“Shit,” Jared appeared.
Jensen stood up from the bed, he wore shorts and put on a black shirt and the pants he’s supposed to wear now.  The new actress stood up from the bed, wrapping the sheets around her body and walking away.
“Why is she doing the walk of shame in a set?” You blurred out and turned to Jared and the director.
“She’s naked,” the director said, “she said it would look more realistic. She didn’t had a problem with it and neither did we.”
Your jaw dropped after hearing what the director just said. “Excuse me?”
“Hey babe,” Jensen reached your side, this time being completely clothed.
Ignoring Jensen your eyes glanced everywhere, “Can someone explain me why the kiss was too real and why the hell is she naked?”
“She stuck her tongue out,” Jensen said, “it was nothing-”
It wasn’t nothing, it was everything but nothing. You didn’t want to make a scene and act extremely jealous but the thought of that woman being completely naked in a bed with Jensen made your blood boil. You didn’t understand why she stuck her tongue out while kissing Jensen.
Has she acted before? You can’t do that, not even you did it with Jensen and you were engaged. It was a television show, not a freaking porno. Even though you wanted to react and say your mind, you took a deep breath in and shake the thought away.
“We were messing their scene,” Jared spoke.
“I bet,” you faked a smile. “Are we gonna work or what?”
In that moment everyone went back to work and to prepare for your scene with Jared and Jensen. No one said a word but the air was clearly tense, even though everyone tried to ignore it and be like anything was happening.
“Action!” The director shouted.
“Hey, listen,” Jensen spoke to you with his Dean tone, “I don’t know how it got into my head!”
“Well,” you shot your arms to the air, “it clearly seemed like you enjoyed it!”
You swallowed  trying to ease the lump building up in your throat. For the first time in your career, you didn’t had to fake being upset. Jensen knew you weren’t faking it, he saw the cloud of tears building up in your eyes.
“Kat,” Jensen spoke softly, “you’re the only woman I dream about. Her getting into my head was just messing around for this to happen.”
He didn’t say what was written in the script; He improvised his words. A single tear slips down your face. You shouldn’t be showing this much emotion. The script ask you to be extremely mad at Dean. It tells you to storm out of the room without listening to reason but you couldn’t make yourself do it.
Instead of walking out of the library, you stood there, in front of Jensen, barely keeping it together. Jensen reached you and wrapped you in his arms.
“I love you,” Jensen whispered on your ear.
“Cut!” The director said and walked to the scene.
You wiped away the tears and turned to the director.
“I don’t know what the hell was that about but,” the director sighed, “it was beautiful. We’re keeping that.” He told you and Jensen, “Next scene!”
Jensen turned to you as everyone walked away to prep for the next scene.
“I’m sorry,” Jensen told you. “Everyone was messing around and-,”
“- it’s okay,” you spoke with a weak smile, “I know you love me and I know you’ll never hurt me. It just took me by surprise seeing her naked on top of you…”
“You know it doesn’t mean anything,” Jensen said.
“I know,” you nodded, “and I hate watching you with another woman that close to you. I hate that the writers are adding this slut demon. But,” you sighed glancing away for a moment before locking your eyes with Jensen. “Is the job and I have to suck it up. ”
“How did I end up with such a cool chic?” Jensen placed his arm over your shoulder.
The corners of your lips curved up recognizing the line. “I don’t know,” you shrugged following his lead as the both of you walked. “Guess I have low standards.”
Jensen’s adorable eyes crinkles appeared as he smiled. Suddenly his fingers went down to your waist and started to tickle you. Instantly, you bursted in laughter and began to try escape his hands but it was worthless.
“Stop!” You giggled still trying to get away.
“Tell me how much you love me,” Jensen said through his laugh. When Jensen saw you shake your head and acted hard to get, he kept tickling you. “I won’t stop until you give in!” He shouted, ignoring the people around.
You giggled dropping your head backwards, “I-,” you shut your eyes, “Okay! I give in! You win!”
“How much you love me?” Jensen hold you close by your waist.
You sighed placing a hand on his chest and the other around his neck, “To the freakin’ moon.”
“That’s my girl,” Jensen flashed a grin and kissed you.

You were walking out of the trailer with JJ on hands. Jensen was waiting in the parking lot to go home after a long day. Your daughter giggled at the funny face you gave her.
“You guys are so cute,” a woman’s voice suddenly spoke.
Looking up your eyes met with Claudia, the new guest actress. She stared at you and JJ, her small body blocking the way to the parking lot. You took a deep breath, adjusted JJ on your hip before speaking.
“Thanks,” you said, trying your best to stay polite.
“I’m Claudia,” she spoke.
“I know,” you replied, “Y/N.” You added a fake polite smile, “Nice to meet you.”
Claudia smiled back, “My pleasure! I’ve been wanting to meet you for so long and after what happened this morning… I thought it was just right for me to formally introduce myself.”
“Oh,” you shifted the weight of JJ, “is alright, the scene just caught me off guard.”
“Still. I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.”
You didn’t believe in her apology. The tone of it didn’t sound genuine, it sounded like she was acting. “If I’m being honest the only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was when Jensen told me you stuck your tongue out while kissing him.” Your tone wasn’t polite anymore.
“Oh,” Claudia’s eyes widen, “I’m sorry about that.”
“Are you really?” You cocked an eyebrow. “Look, I get it, Jensen is super hot. Maybe you found an opportunity and you took it. I know you’re staying and there’s going to be a lot of drama in the show with our characters. Let’s just keep it there, okay? I have a daughter with the man,” You spoke, tilting your head towards JJ, “and we’re getting married. We don’t need drama in our lives.”  After letting her know how you felt, you walked away.
